This study focuses on the problem of scheduling wafer lots of several recipe(operation condition) types in the photolithography workstation in a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. and sequence-dependent recipe set up times may be required at the photolithography machines. In addition. a lot is able to be operated at a machine when the reticle(mask) corresponding to the recipe type is set up in the photolithography machine. We suggest various heuristic algorithms. in which developed machine selection rules and lot selection rules are used to generate reasonable schedules to minimizing the total weighted flowtime. Results of computational tests on randomly generated test problems show that the suggested algorithms outperform a scheduling method used in a real manufacturing system in terms of the total weighted flowtime of the wafer lots with ready times.

Small and medium companies have few dedicated employees for process planning and analyzing. They have many defects in their operational processes which result in less productivity. This research analyze a process of small company, which makes a hole and a round for gear parts. We found that the drilling operation is a bootle-neck operation and propose a revised general machine for drilling operation. The legacy drilling operation is performed as follows. First, a operator drills a half hole of a part and turns the part upside down. Then he drills a rest hole of the part. The operation needs more efforts than other operations. Therefore a productivity of the factory depends on that of the drilling operation. We developed a horizontal multi-drilling machine for the drilling operation. The machine has the drilling tool heads and takes three parts and makes a hole at the same time. It eliminates human operation in the middle of drilling, We also developed clamping jig for holding parts tightly. The proposed machine reduces the total operation time and enhances the productivity of the factory. The process capability index also increased from 6.8 to 9.6.

The objective of this research is to introduce key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) or overall operation effectiveness (OOE) effectively. OEE is one of the most effective KPI to measure the productivity and quality levels of an equipment-centric manufacturing company and widely implemented with a spreaded TPM (total productive maintenance). OEE is the most representative time-related KPI. For ease of measurement, OEE is calculated on the basis of the quantity of the processing materials and theoretical cycle time instead of using time-related sub-indicators. Hence, setting up theoretical cycle times is the most important aspect of the OEE measurement. Increasing customer's demand and developed manufacturing technology, more products can be made in a machine. So there will be multiple theoretical cycle times in a machine, but they have not been extensively considered for setting up theoretical cycle times in previous research. Futhermore the limitation to measure a performance of an operation which is consists of multiple machines is often mentioned in previous research. This paper shows how to measure OOE based on multiple theoretical cycle time.

많은 기업들은 증가하고 있는 경쟁업체들 사이에서 살아남기 위해 원가절감이나 공정개선, 연구개발 등의 다양한 분야에서 투자를 아끼지 않고 있다. 그러나 물류비용 감소에 대한 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 현재 나무로 만든 포장용 상자가 많이 사용되고 있으나 무게가 무겁고 사용 후 폐기비용이 발생하여 물류비용의 상승을 초래하고 있다. 본 논문은 물류비용을 감소하기 위한 수단으로 친환경적이고 회수 및 재사용이 가능한 포장용 플라스틱 다단상자를 개발한다. 상자의 설계에서 효율성과 경제성을 고려하여 회수 시 상자의 부피를 감소하여 물류비용을 최소화하였다. 또한 각 주요 부품을 구조 해석하여 허용 범위 내에서 안전성을 검증하였다.

A functional game named BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) Edutainment, the goal of this research is to develop game contents basically utilizing brain waves of the level of concentration and meditation, and computer interface, measured by Single Channel EEG (Electroencephalogram) System Hardware. The BCI Edutainment System helps users realize their own concentration and meditation levels, and improve those through constant practices. Consequently the BCI Edutainment might be used as a tool for ADHD and Dementia for kids and seniors as well. It also could be applied to education and just game field. More study on brain waves and differentiated content-making techniques are absolutely necessary to maximize the effect of BCI Edutainment with lots of fun. This research is to develop the functional games of two-some dance and collaborated functional baseball.

본 연구는 자동차 시뮬레이터에서 운전 중 제시된 후각 자극이 외부에서 제시된 청각자극의 각성 상태에 대한 마스킹 효과를 자율신경계 반응을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 실험은 20대 남성 11명을 대상으로 하였고, 향 자극은 peppermint를 제시하였다. 청각자극은 구급차 싸이렌 소리를 70~75db의 크기로 30초 동안 제시하였다. 자동차 운전 상황은 편도 3차선의 한적한 도로를 주행하였고 자율신경계의 반응은 피부반응(GSR: Galvanic skin Response)의 변화를 살펴보았다. 실험결과 control, 운전수행, 후각 자극 중 운전 수행, 각각에서 청각 자극 제시 전,후 비교는 모두 유의차(p<0.05)를 보이며 제시 후가 증가하였고, 각각의 청각 자극 후의 비교는 유의차를 보이지 않았다. control, 후각 자극, 각각의 운전수행 전,후 비교는 모두 유의차(p<0.05)를 보이며 후가 증가하였고, 각각의 운전수행 후의 비교는 유의차를 보이지 않았다. control과 후각자극의 비교는 유의차(p<0.05)를 보이며 후각 자극 시 증가하였다. 위와 같은 결과는 후각 자극이 운전수행중 청각자극으로 인한 각성 수준에 영향을 주지 못함을 의미한다. 즉 후각 자극이 청각자극에 대한 마스킹 효과가 일어나지 않음을 시사한다.

열화현상은 공학시스템에 잦은 고장의 원인이 되며, 고장은 시스템이 가동되지 못하는 시간 동안의 기회비용을 증가시킨다. 보전 정책은 고장으로 발생하는 시스템 운영중지 상태를 개선하며, 이로 인한 기회비용을 줄이는 목적으로 실시한다. 일반적으로 보전 정책은 불완전 보전효과를 지니기 때문에 현실의 상황을 최대한 반영하는 보전 정책을 수립하기 위해서는 이를 고려해야 한다. 개선 요소(improvement factor) 방법은 불완전 보전 효과를 표현하는 방법 가운데 하나이며 대표적으로 나이 감소 요소와 위험률 증가 요소가 있다. 본 연구는 보전 정책의 불완전 보전 효과를 고려하는 방법으로 나이 감소 요소와 위험률 증가 요소를 결합한 하이브라드 요소(hybrid factor)를 사용한다. 보전 정책은 신뢰성 수준에 따라서 시행 사점이 결정될 수 있기 때문에 보전 시점을 결정하는 방법으로 특정 신뢰성 수준을 설정하고 이를 만족하는 예방보전 정책을 결정 한다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 하이브라드 요소를 이용하여 불완전 보전 효과를 최대한 반영하고, 특정 신뢰성 수준을 보장하는 예방보전 정책을 제시한다. 또한 기대 순수익 함수를 통해 최적의 예방보전 수를 결정하는 방법을 제시한다. 그리고 와이블 분포에 대한 수치 예제를 제시한다.

We want to accept or reject a finite population with reliability demonstration test. In this paper, we will describe Bayesian approaches for the reliability demonstration test based on the samples from a finite population. The Bayesian method is an approach that prior distribution and likelihood function combine to from posterior distribution. When we select somethings in a samples, we consider hypergeometric distribution. In this paper, we will explain the conjugacy of the beta-binomial distribution and hypergeometric distribution. The purpose of this paper is to make a decision between accept and reject in a finite population based on the conjugacy of the beta-binomial distribution.

우리나라의 보편적 장치산업의 각 생산공정 공정 세팅(setting)치는 Adjacent Point를 지향한다. 바로 이 점이 운전 세팅치를 자주 변경하게 하는 것이다. 다시 말해 근접한 점에 맞추려고 하는 행동이 군내 변동은 작게 만들지만, 군간 변동은 더욱 크게 만드는 현상을 초래하고 있다. 이 경우 데이터의 자기상관에도 나쁜 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 또한 빈번히 사고성 Control-out도 나타나게 되며, 장기적으로 보았을 때 설비의 내구성에도 영향을 마치게 된다. 이는 4M 표준화의 필요성과 중요성이 강조되는 이유이기도 하다. 최근에는 다행스럽게 현장 작업자의 4M 표준화(세팅치 포함) 변화의 권한과 행위는 지양되고 담당 Engineer에게 절대적인 책임과 권한이 주어져 4M 표준화 및 공정의 Control-in 개념도 자연스럽게 재고되고 있는 상황이다. ARIMA를 이용한 통계적 모형을 만들어 분석하는 것이 최고의 결과를 도출하기 위한 방법이라고 할 수 있으나, 이 방법은 모형을 만들고 분석하는 과정이 너무 어렵고 복잡하여 많은 데이터를 다루는 공정에서 사용하기에 무리가 있는 것이 사실이다. 다소 간편하다 할 수 있는 AR모형을 이용하여 관리 상한과 하한 폭을 넓혀서 분석하는 방법도 있지만, 이 또한 마찬가지로 과정이 어렵고 복잡하다. 실제공정에서는 자기상관이 소멸되는 시간간격 데이터를 이용한 Shewhart 관리도로도 공정 관리 상태를 판독하고 관리하는데 별 무리가 없다고 인지되는 상황이다. 그러나 Adjacent Point를 지향한 운전 습관은 그대로 남아 이상원인 검출에 어려움이 생길 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 Shewhart 관리도보다 가중치에 따라 작은 변화에 보다 더 민감하게 반응하는 EWMA 관리도를 바탕으로 장치 공정에서의 모니터링 효율성 재고를 위한 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

This paper reviewed the relationship between knowledge management and incremental innovation, and the moderating effect of firm-size. The results of multiple regression analysis, based on the responses from 434 employees in service industry, showed that knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer related positively with incremental innovation. In moderating effects, knowledge transfer interacts with firm-size to have positive effect on incremental innovation, but knowledge acquisition doesn't have interaction effect with firm-size on incremental innovation.

As local governments have difficulties in financing U-City projects very much at once, investment from private sectors is necessary. This paper propose methodologies about preliminary feasibility study of private investment in U-City construction. They are concrete shapes of feasibility study methodologies of KDI PIMAC to meet U-City construction. They are feasibility study of private investment by policies of the local government and the central government, methodologies of financial VFM analysis to cost during a U-City project, methodologies of qualitative VFM analysis of project management, U-City service quality and operation efficiency of U-City infrastructure . They give concrete examples of the Ansan U-City project.

In the project management context, the impotance of risk management is increasing because the risks in terms of time and cost may significantly affect the result of the project. In general, the management of projects schedule risk is achieved by modeling project schedule with PERT/CPM techniques, then performing risk assesment with monte-carlo simulation method. However, these approach can not reflect constraints, which may be occurred during the project execution, and cope with uncertainty in the future. As these constraints may affect time and cost which are the crucial evaluation factor to the project, they must be identified and evaluated to manage the future project risk before the project is started. This paper proposes a methodology for project schedule risk management by identifying and enforcing the constraints which may be occurred in complex and uncertain project environment. First, project risk constraints are identified and categorized into time, dependancy, and branching. Then, project schedule model with constraints is converted to CPN(Colored Petri Net) which can represent all the identified constraints to assess and predict schedule risk. Finally, the expected risk of the project (in terms of time and cost) is assessed and predicted by performing Petri Net simulation. By using the methodology proposed in this paper, the risk in terms of time and cost in project schedule model can be assessed and predicted more accurately and practically than the PERT/CPM and/or Monte-carlo simulation method. Furthermore, the constraints, which may occur unexpectedly after the project launch, can be evaluated to determine the schedule risk. The expected risk can be used to decide whether risk mitigation or project termination process undertake.

The current number of mobile subscribers reached 50 million people can be seen as a nearly saturated state. To attract new customers means that coming to take away from the competition’s customers, so there are the fierce competition to attract to customers. So if there are signs of churn, it should be quickly analysed to avoid moving to competition. This paper estimated the churn of mobile users by using Competing risks model and Bayes’ theorem, and proposed how to prevent it. Proposed method was verified through the experiment, and it has been shown that the results of using the model is effectively predict the probability of churn of mobile users.

The appearance and evolution of SaaS over the recent years is potentially one of the major advances in information technology. However, if SaaS is to achieve its potential, there needs to be a clear identification and understanding of the various issues involved, both from the perspectives of the providers and the consumers of SaaS technology. While a lot of studies are currently taking place in the technology itself, there is an equally urgent need for understanding and researching the business-related issues surrounding SaaS service. As more and more individuals and companies use the SaaS service, their concerns are beginning to grow about just how safe and reliable an environment it is. For successful implementation of SaaS service, it is necessary to establish the certification systems to ensure safety and reliability of SaaS. This paper provides the safe and reliable framework for systematic SaaS certification systems. In order to develop it, the critical issues related to service quality and certification of SaaS service are identified and the systematic framework for certification systems of SaaS service and service provider domains are developed. A evaluation methodology for the developed certification systems is also proposed.

This study is designed to predict the overall electric power load, to apply the method of time sharing and to reduce simultaneous load factor of electric power when authorized by user entering demand plans and using schedules into the user’s interface for a certain period of time. This is about smart grid, which reduces electric power load through simultaneous load factor of electric power reduction system supervision agent. Also, this study has the following characteristics. First, it is the user interface which enables authorized users to enter and send/receive such data as demand plan and using schedule for a certain period of time. Second, it is the database server, which collects, classifies, analysis, save and manage demand forecast data for a certain period of time. Third, is the simultaneous load factor of electric power control agent, which controls usage of electric power by getting control signal, which is intended to reduce the simultaneous load factor of electric power by the use of the time sharing control system, form the user interface, which also integrate and compare the data which were gained from the interface and the demand forecast data of the certain period of time.

A packaging company is designing reusable multi-folding plastic box with RFID function. They want to identify material flow and inventory status of multi-folding box by adapting RFID technology and reallocate the boxes to required distribution centers. This reusable box may contain various types of materials such like liquids, metals, farm products and so on. Recently, RFID technology has been widely applied in the industrial fields, especially in logistics. However, RFID technology has some problems. One of the problems is that it doesn't guarantee the RFID recognition with environment of metals and liquids. We cannot overlook this fact because the contents of box is not fixed and may contain various kinds of materials. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of unspecified contents on the RFID detectability of reusable multi-folding box and predict the reading rate on various conditions. At first, we selected a list of test materials from expert interview and literature survey and performed experimental design to investigate influence by materials. Then, we built a prediction model using support vector machine (SVM) to predict reading rate on various conditions. The proposed model is based on intelligent machine learning algorithm. It gave a high accuracy of prediction, and provided robust combinations of conditions as to detectability on various contents. Finally, we performed sensitivity analysis about marginal detectability of influencing factors and found out tolerable level of factors.

This study is prepared on the ground of consulting business in an objective of an improvement of productivity that was proceeded on industrious-purpose reel manufacturer, S corp. the purpose of this study is to achieve an improvement of productivity of the production line of industrious-purpose reel via 4M analysis and separate team activities. The method for study was proceeded with 4M analysis via video recording, one of the steps of separate team activities. Separate team activity is newly established concept, indicating what is modified and expanded partial process among previously existing 6-Sigma methodologies so that measures of various variables in the manufacturing production line are applied. The first procedure is a 4M analysis via video recording. firstly, consultant records videos for relevant process, conducting 4M analysis based on collected data to derive wasting factors in each process. Secondly, it is a procedure to derive and select proper measures, meaning that measures for removing wasting factors based on derived results are elicited, selecting a measure with high probability of application via negotiation between consultants and separate teams. The last procedure is an application of selected measures to real production line, reflecting an environment of production field to derive an effect of increasing practical productivity rather than a qualitative effect as a measure with trust and flexibility.

This dissertation showcase study of production planning software development for Small and Medium sized Business (SMB). Currently, most of the domestic SMB’s production planning is being established by experienced manager’s intuition. Therefore, the production planning is usually managed by hand written data or established by impromptu process based on years of experience. Under such circumstances, production planning tends to be change frequently and, as a result, it is hard to meet On Time Delivery or to make Capable to Promise that customer asked for when they make order. This dissertation depicts the effectiveness of establishing specific production planning by applying software based on the project which had been implemented for an water tank manufacturing company, Z. The production planning by applying software which is presented in this research, enhanced work efficiency by making possible to share production information between marketing and production managing teams or within team members based on reliable planning. In addition to this, it made possible to have more orders from customers by presenting Capable to Promise schedule.

This research has been studied a quality management method of silicon wafers for solar cells using the time series analysis. The model which can forecast conversion efficiency in state of a silicon wafer of a solar cell was presented newly and studied its limits. The first approach analyzed correlation between quality characteristics which was currently known and the quality of the last production. Also, The special factor which was unknown to a general factor until now was found. This paper presented the time series analytical model which was transformed in order to forecast exactly the influence that these special quality characteristics were immersed in to the conversion efficiency of cells. Using the correlation of forecasted value along the arbitrary change of measured value, the most optimized reduction factor for calculation of weight to be suitable for this model was defined.
