        본 연구는 새로운 항산화 및 미백 기능성 화장품 성분을 개발하기 위해 기존의 항산화와 미백 기능성 성분으로 알려진 두 가지 성분을 혼합한 새로운 조성을 개발하고, 이를 이용해 항산화 및 미백효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 두 가지 성분은 항산화와 멜라닌 생성억제 기능이 알려진 sulforaphane과 멜라닌 생성 억제 효과가 알려진 PF-3758309이다. 각 성분 및 혼합 조성에 대한 세포독성을 조사하여 세포독성이 나타나지 않는 농도를 결정하였다. 단독 처리 시 sulforaphane는 10 μ M까지, PF-3758309는 100 nM까지 세포독성이 없다는 것을 확인하였다. 두 화합물 10 μ M sulforaphane과 1 nM PF-3758309를 병합 처리 시 세포독성은 없었다. LPS 자극에 의해 생성된 일산화질소는 sulforaphane과 PF-3758309의 병합 처리시 현저히 감소되었다. α-MSH 에 의한 멜라닌 생성 역시 병합 처리에 의해 억제되었다. 화장품 소재로 사용 가능성을 확인하기 위해 혼합 조성 시료에 대한 인체적용시험을 실시하였다. 혼합조성 시료는 피부첩포에 의한 안전성 평가는 무자극으로 판정되었고, 피부밝기 증가효과와 피부 멜라닌 침착을 억제함을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과들로 혼합 조성물이 항산화와 미백 기능이 있는 새로운 기능성 화장품 조성으로 개발될 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

        Background : Multi-stage system were used for development of stable ginseng seedling production. Bed-soil for the production of ginseng seedling in the multi-stage was similar to the conventional bed-soil but the weight of the bed-soil was high and the efficiency of operation in the multi-stage was lowered. In this study, the yield and quality of ginseng seedling was investigated by commercial lightweight bed-soil in the multi-stage facilities, and the possibility of application of lightweight bed-soil. Methods and Results : This study was carried out by a 3-stage cultivation bed using a 50 ㎜ sandwich panel in a house shaded with 85% light-shielding net. The width of the cultivating bed was 90 ㎝, the height was 30 ㎝, and the height of each stage was 50 ㎝. In the first and second stages, the amount of light was insufficient, so two rows of fluorescent lamps were installed and the third stage was used natural light. Ginseng seeds were sown on the cultivating bed in November 2016, and ginseng seeds (native species) were sown with a density of 3 × 3 ㎝. The chemical properties of lightweight bed-soil were pH 5.11, and EC 0.76 dS/m. It was suitable for ginseng seedling cultivation. The bulk density was 0.21 Mg/㎥. Among the growth characteristics of the ginseng seedlings, the root length was the longest as 17.0 ㎝ in the conventional cultivation, and the second stage was the longest at 14.8 ㎝ in the multi-stage facility. The root diameter in the multi-stage system was 0.2 - 0.4 ㎜ thicker than the conventional one. Root weights of lightweight bed-soil were similar to those of conventional cultivation. The yield of ginseng seedlings in the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd stage was 721.3 g, 692.0 g, and 394.7 g/1.62 ㎡ respectively. Conclusion : In the production of ginseng seedling using multi-stage facilities, the commercial bed-soil was better than the conventional bed-soil (light, workability). The differences in yields in the multi-stage facilities can be overcome if the growth management such as moisture management is more systematic. If we develop the technology to reuse the bed-soil after harvesting the ginseng seedling, it will be economical and able to supply to farmers.

        Background: Gastrodia elata Blume is a saprophytic perennial plant in the Orchidaceae family, because of its agricultural and medicinal effectiveness, researchers focus on its genome and chemical components. However, cytogenetic information based on the chromosome structure and composition to construct chromosomal backbone for genome sequencing research and for the development and breeding of plants is very limited. Methods and Results: We determined the metaphase chromosome composition of the G. elata genome by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) using 5S and 45S rDNAs and telomeric repeat probes. The nuclear genome of G. elata was organized into 2 n = 36, with relatively small (2.71 - 5.50㎛)chromosomes that showed gradual decrease in size. Conglutination phenomenon was observed among the metaphase chromosomes, and it was distinguished from that in other plant metaphase chromosome spreads. One pair of signal was detected for each 5S and 45S rDNA in the pericentromeric region and interstitial region on the short arm of chromosomes 10 and 4, respectively, and telomeric DNA signals were detected in the terminal region of most chromosomes. Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is the first FISH chromosome composition result in G. elata and could be useful in more comprehensive molecular cytogenetic and genomic analyses as well as breeding programs of the medicinal plant G. elata.

Although it is difficult to directly identify the cause of seepage through hydrologic and physicochemical analysis, it can be used as indirect data to estimate the origin of leakage.

        아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도(ACT)의 변형을 최소화하고 구조적 안전성을 확보하기 위해서는, 열차 하중을 분산 및 저감시킬 수 있고 아스팔트 도상의 노출을 줄일 수 있는 광폭 형태의 콘크리트 침목이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 형상 설계를 통해 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목을 개발하였으며, 유한요소해석을 통해 레일 좌면부 및 침목 중앙부에 대한 구조 안전성을 검토하였다. 또한 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목의 설계 적합성을 검증하기 위하여, EN 13230-2에 의거 침목 주요 위치별로 정적 휨 강도 시험, 동적 휨 강도 시험 및 피로 시험을 수행하였다. 성능 시험 결과, 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목은 균열 하중, 파괴 하중, 및 균열 확대 여부 등 유럽 표준에서 요구되는 성능 기준을 모두 충족하였다.

        ‘Nokwoo’, a mid-late maturing, high dry matter yielding rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivar with a good early growth and low-temperature germinability, was developed for whole crop silage (WCS) use. It was derived from a cross between a leafy tropical japonica ‘LK1A-2-12-1-1’ with high biomass and good germinability in low temperature and new plant type (NPT), ‘IR72225-29-1-1’ which had low tillering trait, large panicle, dark green leaf, thick and sturdy stem and vigorous root system. This cultivar had about 123 days growth period from seeding to heading, 122㎝ culm length, 29㎝ panicle length, 9 panicles per hill, 144 spikelets per panicle and 1,000-grain weight of 24.4 g as brown rice in central plain region, Suwon. This wide and long leafy WCS rice variety was weak to cold stresses similar to ‘Nokyang’ but was a little resistant to lodging in the field, strong to viviparous germination and good to low temperature germination. In addition, ‘Nokwoo’ was resistant to leaf and neck blast but susceptible to bacterial blight, rice stripe virus and brown planthopper. Its average dry matter yield for three years reached 16.5 MT/ha, 14% higher than that of ‘Nokyang’. This cultivar had 5.3% crude protein and 68.8% total digestible nutrients a little low compared to ‘Nokyang’. In Korea peninsular, ‘Nokwoo’ grows well in central and southern plain and is good to harvest between 15 to 30 days after heading to improve its feeding value and digestion rate of livestock (Grant No. 6072).

        This study started with drawing problems of early implementation and suggesting improvement plans in order to lead a rural convergence industrialization district system to early settlement and management for its policy goals. The study aimed at 13 districts that were designated from 2014 to 2016 for analyzing an actual condition of promoting early implementation, and went ahead with it combining literature research, interview survey and specialist opinion investigation. The study examined and organized an outline, policy goal, and actual condition of rural convergence industrialization district. Furthermore, it analyzed an actual condition of promoting at each stage such as designating processes of rural convergence industrialization districts, operating body and system, regulation improvement, district supporting projects and relating projects, drew problems and finally suggested improvement plans. This study could be meaningful because it is the first study to grasp an actual condition of promoting early implementation and to remedy problems in order to manage rural convergence industrialization district system which was newly promoted since 2014 for its policy goal. In addition, it suggests that the further study of the result after managing district system for a certain period of time should be needed.

        To find economic mixing proportions of 60MPa high strength self compacting concrete optimizing a multi-objective problem was performed, which was implemented numerically on MathCAD15 to calculate the economic and optimal mix proportion considering multi-objective characterizing the five performances like compressive strength, passing ability, segregation resistance, manufacturing cost and bulk density depending on the factors like water-binder ratio, cement content, fine aggregate percentage, fly ash content and superplasticizer content.

        Multi-objective optimization using response surface methodology-based surrogate model was employed to find optimal design parameter of TMD installed on structure under the El Centro earthquake. It is found that the RSM based weighted multi-objective optimized damper improves frequency responses and root mean square displacements of the structure without TMD by 31.6% and 82.3% under El Centro earthquake, respectively, and has an equal or higher performance than the conventionally designed dampers with respect to frequency responses and root mean square displacements and when applied to earthquakes.

        Multi-objective optimization coupled with GA-ANN Metamodeling Method and NSGAⅡ was implemented to optimize TMD installed on 10 story structure under El Centro earthquake. Layer number and nodes of ANN were optimized by use of genetic algorithm and NSGA-Ⅱalgorithm was applied to solve multi-objective optimization problem prepared by GA-ANN metamodel. It is found that the GA-ANN multi-objective optimized damper improved frequency responses and root mean square displacements of the structure without TMD by 34.7% and 76.4% under El Centro earthquake, respectively.

        Background: The production method of ginseng seedlings for ginseng cultivation is very important to ensure healthy rooting system as well as high quality, and yield of the resultant plants. This study was carried out to compare the growth characteristics of 2- year-old ginseng plants that were produced from seedlings grown in self soil nursery (SSN), nursery soil (NS) or hydroponic culture (HC). Methods and Results: The shading prop used was composed of four-layered 4 polyethylene (blue 3 + black 1) shade screen. The management of main field was done by inserting oil cake (1,200 ㎏/10 a) and then allowing Sudan grass to grow for a year. Seedling transplantation was carried out on April 6. Root growth was measured on October 25. Root weight was observed to be excellent at 6.0 g, following SSN transplantation. Root length was 21.2 ㎝ for HC seedlings, but these plants had a physiological disorder (i.e., rusty root), in 83.5% plants of this treatment. The ratio of PD/PT (protopanaxadiol saponins / protopanaxatriol saponins) was higher in NS seedlings. Plant analysis revealed that Fe content was lower in HC seedlings with high rustiness. The growth of 2-years-old ginseng was different following these varying seedling cultivation methods, but seedlings from NS were not different from those grown in SSN. Conclusions: For the propagation of 2-year-old ginseng plants, NS seedlings may be a good substitute for SSN seedlings.

        임진강 유역은 북한과 인접해 있는 지리적 특성 때문에 수문관측에 어려움이 있고 급작스러운 홍수발생 시 대응측면에서 취약하다. 이에 따른 대책으로 2005년 군남홍수조절지 건설이 계획되었다. 그러나 이러한 구조적 대책에도 불구하고 북한의 무단방류에 의한 피해가 계속 발생되고 있고, 2012년부터 지속된 한반도 가뭄의 영향과 북측댐의 일방적인 저수로 임진강 유량이 급격히 감소하여 임진강 하류에서 가뭄 피해가 발생하 고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 임진강유역의 가뭄피해를 대비하고 홍수발생 시 효율적인 대응시간을 확보하기 위하여 군남홍수조절지의 새로운 운영방법을 도출하였다. 먼저 가뭄피해 대비를 위해 저수용량을 확보하는 방안으로서 홍수기 군남홍수조절지 운영수위를 EL.23.0 m에서 EL.31.0 m로 상향하여 유지하는 운영방법은 기존운영방법과 비교․ 분석 시 약 14백만 m3의 용수를 추가 확보할 수 있다. 또한, 홍수발생 시 초기 250 m3/s로 조절방류를 하여 유입량을 일부 저류시키는 운영방법은 기존운영방법과 비교․ 분석 시 저수지 저류효과가 평균 2.66% 증가한 것으 로 나타났다. 이는 기존의 운영방법과 비교하였을 때 평균 약 19시간의 대응시간 확보가 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.

        Background: Ginseng is a perennial crop grown for more than four years in the same place. Therefore, it is highly affected by the soil environment, especially nutrients in the soil. The present study was carried out to investigate to the influence of boron and iron concentrations on the physiological status, growth, and mineral uptake of ginseng to obtain the basic information for diagnosing a physiological disorder in ginseng plants. Methods and Results: The boron and iron concentrations were controlled at 3, 30, 150, 300 and 2, 20, 100, 200㎎/ℓ, respectively. When treated with 150㎎/ℓ of boron, the ginseng plants showed yellowing or necrosis symptoms at the edge or end of their leaves. Compared with the 3㎎/ℓ treatment, the root weight decreased by 13 and 24% in the 150 and 300㎎/ℓ treatments, respectively. When treated with 20㎎/ℓ of iron, the ginseng plants showed yellowing between the veins of the leaves followed by the formation of brown spots. The root weight gradually decreased with increasing iron concentration. Approximately 55% decrease in root weight was observed upon treatment with 200㎎/ℓ of iron. Conclusions: The boron toxicity occurs in the leaves of ginseng at the boron concentration of approximately 1,900㎎/㎏ or more. The iron toxicity occurs at the iron concentration of approximately 120㎎/㎏ for leaves and 270㎎/㎏ for roots.

        본 논문은 음악의 감성을 시각화하는 새로운 방법을 제안하는 논문으로 시각화를 위하여 감성 LED조명 제어 시스템을 고안하였으며 이 시스템은 청중들의 음악 경험을 더욱 풍요롭게 하기 위함에 목적이 있다. 이 시스템은 기존 연구의 음악 감성 분석 알고리즘을 이용하였는데 하나의 음악에서 하나의 감성을 추출하는 기존 연구의 한계를 보완하고자 음악의 1초당 세그먼트에서 감 성을 추출 하여 감성 변화를 감지하는 방법을 연구하였다. 또한 LED조명의 감성 컬러는 IRI컬러 모델과 Thayer의 감성 모델을 기초로 새로운 감성 컬러 36가지를 정의 하여 각 감성에 맞는 색 으로 연출 할 수 있도록 구성하고 애니메이션과 더불어 감성 LED 조명으로 표현 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 시스템의 검증을 위한 실험 결과, 듣는이의 감성과 감성 LED 조명 시스템의 감성 일 치율이 60% 이상으로 향후 음악 감성 기반 서비스의 중요한 밑거름이 될 것으로 보인다.

        최근 우리나라는 온난화 현상 및 기후변화 등으로 인해 국지성 호우 발생 빈도가 잦아지고 있다. 특히 인구가 밀집되어 있는 도심지역이면서 지형 적․ 지리적 여건, 우수배제능력 부족 등으로 인해 내수침수의 위험도가 높은 지역은 국지성 호우에 취약하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 집중호우에 취약 한 장항읍을 시범유역으로 지정하고 대표적인 내수범람 해석모형인 XP-SWMM 모형을 이용한 침수해석을 실시하였다. 또한 해당지역에 알맞은 홍수방어 대책 을 수립하기 위해 다기준 의사결정기법(Multi-Criteria Decision Making)을 이용, 다양한 홍수방어 대안을 비교 및 평가하여 최적 의 홍수방어대안을 제시하였다. 해당지역의 침수해소를 위해 구조적 침수방지대책(관로 개량, 우수저류지 설치, 우수펌프장 설치)을 선정하였으 며, 대상지역을 3개의 소유역으로 분할하여 최적대안을 결정하였다. 2차원 내수침수 해석모형인 XP-SWMM을 이용하여 각 대안 설치 시 침수모 의를 진행하였으며, 다기준 의사결정기법 Compromise Programming 기법을 이용하여 시범지역에 적합한 최적대안 우선순위를 결정하였으며, 그 결과 장항1지구의 경우 우수펌프장 설치, 장항2지구와 3지구의 경우 우수저류지 설치가 홍수방어를 위한 최적대안으로 선정되었다.

        우리나라는 지난 30년 동안 기후변화 및 도시화 등으로 인한 변화가 급격하게 진행된 바 있으므로, 두 가지 요소들로 인한 유량의 변동량을 정량화 하여 분석할 필요가 있다. 그러나 유량의 변동량을 특정 원인별로 구분하여 분석하고자 하는 국내 연구는 매우 미미한 형편이며, 다양한 시간단위 를 이용한 원인별 유량 변동량의 산정에 관한 연구는 더욱 찾아보기 힘들다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기후변화 및 인간활동으로 인한 유량 변동량을 정량적으로 분리하기 위하여 수문모형을 이용한 방법과 수문학적 민감도(hydrological sensitivity) 분석 방법을 소양강 상류유역 및 섬강 유역에 대해 적용하고 유량 변동량의 결과를 월별, 분기별 및 연별로 구분하여 제시하였다. 인간활동으로 인해 발생되는 급진적인 변동점을 탐색하기 위해 이중누가곡선, Pettitt 검정 및 베이지안 변동점(Bayesian change point) 분석을 시행하였으며, 탐색된 변동점을 활용하여 변동점 이전 구간에 대 해 보정 및 검증된 SWAT모형과 6가지의 Budyko 곡선 함수들로부터 각각 유량 변동량을 산정하여 수문모형에 의한 유량 변동량을 검증하였다.

        From December 2014 to November 2015, an automatic weather system (AWS) was installed over a wide road of Daegu to continuously measure meteorological factors and surface temperature. We investigated the effective operating period of the clean-road system using the daily maximum and minimum air and asphalt surface temperatures, with the aim of creating an optimum thermal environment. The clean-road system was installed over a part of the broad way of Dalgubul(Dalgubul-Daero) by Daegu Metropolitan City in 2011. Until now, the clean-road system has been operated from the middle of April to the end of September. We assumed that it was desirable that the clean-road system could be operated when the discomfort index was above 55. In conformity with the conditions, we concluded that the optimum operation period of the clean-road system is from the end of March to about the middle of October.

        A new Gentiana spp. cultivar “Skyblueball” was bred by crossing between “Jinbu-65 line” with violet blue (VB 95B) colored petals as female and “Jinbu-1 line” with violet blue (VB 93B) petals as male in 2000 year. The superior line of 00-168-3 was selected in Daegwallyeong from 2001 to 2003 year, and its growth and flower characterization were conducted from 2004 to 2007 year in field of Daegwallyeong and Jinbu, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, Namwon, Jeollabuk-do and Jeju Special Self-Governing-do. The flower showed violet blue (VB 96C) color at opening, the petal of flower had not spot and flower stem color was purple. The flowers were bloomed at the same time from bottom to upside (Table 1). Plant height was 62.9 ㎝ , number of flower stem per plant is 8.3, number of flower node per stem was 5.3, and number of flower per stem was 21.7 (Table 2). The flowering of ‘Skyblueball’ was bloomed from July 26 in Daegwallyeong, August 3 in Jinbu and Namwon, and June 28 in Jeju Special Self-Governing-do. ‘Skyblueball’ cultivar can be used for cut flower.
