소비 시장이 감성 소비 환경으로 바뀌면서 브랜드의 역할이 더욱 중요해졌고, 이를 위한 브랜드 이미지 전략으로서 디자인의 역할이 확장되고 있다. 브랜드와 소비자가 소통하는 지점인 소비자 접점은 체험을 통한 브랜드 이미지가 형성되는 경로이므로, 기업이 지향하는 이미지로 각인시키기 위해서는 소비자 접점에 대한 총체적인 기획 및 관리가 필요하게 되었다. 위와 같은 배경에서, 이 연구의 목적은 변화된 시장 환경에서 성공적인 브랜드 이미지를 구축하기 위한 통합 디자인의 구성 방법을 정의하는 것이다. 이를 위해 브랜드 이미지의 특성, 소비자 체험의 조건, 감성의 역할을 이해하고, 이미지와 감성 처리 모형과의 상관성을 해석하여, 이미지의 3가지 특성을 도출하였다. 이미지의 특성은 1) 경험적 판단에 근거하며, 2) 감성적 내용을 표현 전달하고, 3)관념적 공감에 의한 심리적 가치를 만드는 것이다. 이러한 이미지를 창출하는 디자인의 조건을 성공적인 브랜드의 사례연구를 통해 분석하여, 강력한 이미지를 구축하기 위한 브랜드 아이콘의 역할과 이를 위한 통합 디자인의 필요성을 밝혔다. 이 통합 디자인을 구성하는 방법은 1) 브랜드 이미지 포지셔닝에 의한 이미지 집중화, 2) 브랜드 이미지 플롯에 의한 시각적 주제 활용, 3) 이미지 통합 관리를 위한 Total Identity Program, 4) 브랜드 이미지각인을 위한 Brand Icon 개발 등이다.

세계 각국은 관광과 문화 사업을 21세기 국가 전략 사업으로 육성하고 있다. 관광 선진국들의 사례를 비춰볼 때 국민소득이 2만~3만 달러 이상 증가하면 육상 관광과 레저에서 해양 관광과 레저로 추이가 이동함을 볼 수 있다. 또한 주 5일 근무제의 시행으로 근로시간 단축에 따라 가족 지향형 가치관의 형성으로 가족단위의 여가활동 및 여행수요 증대의 보편화가 나타나고 있다. 이러한 환경변화에 따라 해양레저를 즐기고자하는 수요는 증가하고 있으나, 기반시설 부족으로 활성화가 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 우리나라 서남해안 해역은 수많은 다도해가 자연방파제 역할을 하고 있으므로 해양레저 산업을 활성화 시키는데 적합한 천혜의 자연조건을 보유하고 있으나 기반시설 부족으로 활성화가 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 해양레저 기반시설의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 서남해안 해양레저 산업 활성화에 필요한 친환경 해양레저 기반 시설 구축 방안에 관하여 논한다.

공학 및 과학문제 해석을 위해 적용되는 전산 시뮬레이션은 다양한 변수 혹은 데이터의 변화를 통해 다수의 작업을 생성하고 계산함과 동시에, 생성된 결과를 비교 분석하기 위한 필수적인 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 그리드 컴퓨팅을 활용하여 웹상에서 대용량의 전산 시뮬레이션이 가능한 시스템을 개발하고, 이를 이용한 2가지 실제 응용사례를 제시한다. 첫 번째 응용사례는 e-AIRS(Aerospace Integrated Research Environment)라 명명된 연구포탈이다 e-AIRS는 수치해석 연구자가 대규모의 전산 해석을 실시하고, 실험 연구자가 원격지에서 실험을 요청하고 그 결과를 모니터링 할 수 있는 e-Science 연구환경을 제공한다. 두 번째 응용사례는 대규모 계산환경을 이용한 단백질 구조설계를 제시한다. 제안된 계산환경을 이용하여 생성된 단백질 전산 예측구조와 자연상태 구조를 비교하고, 제안된 계산환경의 유용성을 검토한다.

본 연구에서는 도로교의 지진피해평가체계를 구축하기 위해 필요한 정보항목들을 정의하고 우리나라 실정에 맞는 데이터 베이스 구축방법을 제시하였다. 도로교 지진피해평가를 위한 정보요소는 크게 구조물 관련 정보와 위치관련 정보로 구분하였다. 구조물 관련정보는 도로망에 위치한 교량의 지진피해를 예측하는데 필요한 도로교의 취약도 곡선 정보항목으로 구성하였다. 위치관련 정보항목인 도로망의 데이터구조는 상세한 교차로 모델링이 가능하도록 기존의 GIS 데이터구조를 보다 세분화하여 정의하였다. 고속도로망에 위치한 110개의 교량을 대상으로 시범 시스템을 개발하였으며, 제시된 데이터베이스 구축 방법은 도로망의 신속한 피해복구를 위한 의사결정 지원체계 구축에 효과적으로 활용이 가능함을 보였다.

In this paper, a methodology based on the classification and the similarity comparison of manufacturing processes is proposed. In this, a new product is classified according to the similarity of its manufacturing processes, which enables recycling of existing system modules. The first Oceanography department in Korea was established in 1968 at Seoul National University. During the last 20 years, 10 Oceanography departments, 5 ocean engineering departments and 1 ocean development department were established at 8 universities and 4 colleges. However, the education facilities and the quality of education were not sufficiently improved. Furthermore, an Oceanography research vessel was not built for those ocean related departments up to now. The authority of the Ministry of Education, which foresaw the fast-changing marine policy of each nation and the rapid technological advances of ocean development, prepared a plan to search a way to reinforce the college level Oceanography education so as to secure the future survival of this nation. Therefore, through this investigation a reinforce plan of Oceanography education in Korea was formalized.
