        We surveyed dietitians' perception on application of festival foods in the school foodservice in Busan area. The questionnaires were distributed to 244 dietitians working in elementary(143 individuals), middle(50 ind.), and high schools(51 ind.). The mean scores of dietitians' perception for the succession of the festival foods are 4.57/5.00 at Seolnal, 4.28/5.00 at Jeongwoldaeboreum, 4.12/5.00 at Dongji, 4.02/5.00 at Chuseok, 3.91/5.00 at Sambok, 3.27/5.00 at Dano, 3.00/5.00 at Chopail, 2.67/5.00 at Samjitnal, and 2.65/5.00 at YuDu. The dietitians have frequently practice the Sambok foods to the school foodservice menu, followed by the foods for Dongji, Jeongwoldaeboreum, Seolnal, and Chuseok. About two third of dietitians(72.2%) answered that it is needed to provide festival foods as the school foodservice menu for festive days. However, the survey indicate that putting festival foods on the school foodservice is hampered by the facts that foods do not appeal to the students' taste and it is difficult to cook the foods by school foodservice facilities. Mean scores of dietitians' acquaintance with about the origins and contents of festive days are Dongji(3.67/5.00), Seolnal(3.63/5.00), Sambok(3.60/5.00), Jeongwaldaeboreum(3.58/5.00), Chuseok(3.39/5.00) and Dano(3.23/5.00). When the dietitians provided lunch for the students, 80.1% of them occasional give the information on the festival foods to the students. Therefore, it is recommended to hand down festival foods that the dietitians develope the recipe for foods applicable in school foodservice and e government adopt a policy and education programs.

        The purpose of this study is to compare the correlation of clinical characteristics and patterns of disease. Subjects of the study were the adults(207) living in Geoje City, the diabetes mellitus and the hypertension patients(166) and the normal people(41). In the diabetes mellitus group and the hypertension group, blood pressure, blood glucose, total cholestero LDL-cholesterol and atherogenic index(AI) were significantly high. As the obesity index was getting higher, the blood pressure of the diabetes mellitus group was high, and the HDL-cholesterol of the hypertension group was low, but AI of it was significantly high. The AI was significantly high as serum lipid index were getting higher in both groups. The rate of the prevalence was very high in the diabetes mellitus group(74.3%) and the hypertension group(73.7%). The pattern in the diabetes mellitus group was in order of the hypertension, the hyperlipidemia, and the obesity but, in the hypertension group was the hyperlipidemia, and the obesity. The obesity index and serum lipid index of complex patient group were higher than single patient group.

        The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of personal and job characteristics on the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of dietitians employed in different foodservice settings. The subjects were dietitians(n=830) employed by schools, hospitals, and industries in Daegu Gyeongbuk area. A questionnaire was used to determine personal and job characteristics, commitment and satisfaction. Organizational commitment scores were the highest for hospital dietitians, and the lowest for industry dietitians (p<0.05). Industry dietitians felt significantly less loyal to their organizations than did the other dietitians(p<0.05). School and hospital dietitians were significantly more likely to say they cared about the fate of their organizations and thought their organizations were the best to work for. Age, education, length of employment, and wages were positively associated with hospital dietitians' commitment(p<0.05). For all dietitians, the fewer the work hours, the higher the commitment(p<0.05). When asked to rate their satisfaction with various aspects of their jobs, dietitians expressed the most satisfaction with co-workers, and the least satisfaction with promotion opportunities. School dietitians were significantly less satisfied with pay and promotion than were the other dietitians. Organizational commitment was associated with wages(0.05), autonomy(0.08), feedback(0.16), dealings with others(0.07), and task identity(0.09). Job satisfaction was affected by educational level(-0.13), wages(0.10), autonomy(0.18), friendship opportunities(0.14), feedback(0.16), task identity(-0.11) and organizational commitment(0.40) (Lisrel program).

        백두대간의 대덕산-금대봉에 이르는 자연생태계보전지역을 중심으로 분포하고 있는 산림의 생육현황과 군집 구조를 파악하여 앞으로 자연생태계보전지역 관리의 기초자료를 마련하고자, 대덕산-금대봉 자연생태계보전지역에 65개의 방형구(10m×10m)를 설치하여 식생을 조사하였다. 분석한 결과 조사 대상지는 5개의 군집 일본 잎갈나무우점군집, 신갈나무-물푸레나무우점군집, 물푸레나무-신갈나무우점군집, 신갈나무-당단풍우점군집, 신갈나무우점군집으로 분류되었다. 수종간의 상관관계에서는 신갈나무와 팥배나무, 고로쇠나무, 올괴불나무, 마가목 ; 팥배나무와 고로쇠나무, 올괴불나무, 마가목 ; 고로쇠나무와 올괴불나무, 마가목 ; 다릅나무와 복자기 ; 물푸레나무와 물박달나무; 올괴불나무와 층층나무, 마가목; 복자기와 짝자래나무; 산돌배와 귀룽나무 ; 층층나무와 마가목 등의 수종들 간에는 높은 정의 상관이 인정되었고, 신갈나무와 일본잎갈나무, 까치박달; 피나무와 일본잎갈나무, 산뽕나무 등의 수종들 간에는 부의 상관이 인정되었다. 조사지의 군집별 종다양성지수는 0.4443~1.2036 범위였다.

        본 연구는 경남 남해군 금산 지역에서 도로가 조류 군집에 미치는 영향을 파악함으로서 산림 지역에 개설되는 도로의 합리적인 관리방안을 모색하고자 2000년 5월부터 2001년 1월까지의 기간 동안 실시되었다. 조류군집 조사 결과 도로 지역에서는 26종, 산림 지역에서는 23종의 조류가 각각 관찰되었다. 지역별로 호랑지빠귀, 할미새사촌 등은 산림 지역에서 만, 쇠유리새와 큰유리새 휘파람새, 상모솔새 등은 도로 지역에서만 관찰되었다. 번식기 조류 군집의 길드 분석 결과 도로 지역에서는 관목층 영소 길드와 채이 길드의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 대체로 도로는 야생동물의 서식에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 보고 되었으나, 본 연구에서는 도로의 차량 통행량이 적고, 도로변에 다양한 서식환경이 존재하며, 상층임관의 단절이 소규모이고 연속적이지 않아 도로가 조류 군집에 부정적인 영향을 크게 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 산림 지역에서 도로의 영향을 최소화하기 위해서는 상층임관의 수관부가 연결될 수 있도록 도로변 교목의 유지 및 관리와 관목층의 조성이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        지리산국립공원의 바래봉지역을 중심으로 북향사면인 용산-바래봉지역과 남향사면인 팔랑-바래붕지역의 계곡부를 대상으로 사면방향과 해발고에 따른 산림구조를 조사분석하였다. 상층임관을 이루는 교목층의 밀도, 평균흉고단면적은 북향사면이 남향사면에 비하여 높았다 북향사면에서는 해발고가 높아짐에 따라 교목층 흉고단면적이 감소하는 경향이었다. 해발고가 증가함에 따라 상대중요치가 증가하는 주요 수종은 신갈나무이었으며, 감소하는 주요 수종은 졸참나무, 소나무 등이었다. 식생층 전체의 목본식물 종다양도는 북향사면이 1.:307로서 남향사면의 1.114보다 높았다 해발고대별 전체 식생층의 종수, 종다양도, 균재도는 2개 사면 모두 해발고가 높아짐에 따라 감소하는 경향이었다 Cluster분석 결과 남향사면 중, 하부의 졸참나무-낙엽활엽수군집, 남향사면 상부 북향사면 중 상부와 계곡 정부의 신갈나무-낙엽활엽수군집. 북향사면 하부의 소나무-신갈나무군집 둥 3개 군집으로 구분되었다. 상대중요치에 의한 종상관 분석결과 서어나무. 졸참나무, 쪽동백나무, 생강나무 등 4개 수종간, 밤나무, 철쭉꽃. 덜꿩나무 등 3개 수종간 유의적인 정의 상관이 있었다

        This paper is concerned with preventing victims of crime in the community. Today, society becomes more informationized, urbanized and globalized. As the byproducts of rapidly changing nature of society, local dwellers are always threatened to be a victim of unexpected crimes. This study employs the concepts from community social capital and community social network system for controlling the community living quality and the effectiveness of the preventive measures for victims of crime in the community. In this perspective, this paper suggests the tri-combined crime prevention security system which consists in police, security company and the community residents through the localized capital and networking.

        본 연구의 두 가지 목적은 서부경남지역 초등학교 급식환경에 대한 위생학적, 미생물학적 안전성 평가와 SSOP(Sanitation Standard Operation Procedures)실천을 위한 자료구축이다. 식수와 상수원수, 조리, 배식도구, 주변기구, 조리종사자와 조리된 음식으로부터 총 97개의 시료를 채취하여 일반세균, E. coli, salmonella, yersinia, vibrio parahaemolyticus staphylococcus와 같은 각종 병원성균에 대한 생화학적 분석을 하였다. 조사 결과 일반 세균수는 최저 1.0×10^2 CFU/mL에서 최고 1.0×10^7 CFU/mL로 식품 안전성 수준을 초과하였다. 특히 조리된 식품에 있어서는, 4곳의 가열 공정 과정을 거치지 않은 김치에서 1.0×10^5 CFU/mL 이상의 일반세균이 검출되었다. 전반적으로, B장소의 일반 세균수가 다른 장소들에 비하여 높았다. 또한 병원성 미생물 수준에 있어서는 C와 E 급식소의 칼과 E급식소의 김치에서 E.coli가 분리되었으며, A 급식소의 식수, D 급식소의 손, E 급식소의 냉장고와 앞치마에서는 황색포도상구균이 검출되었다. 반면 salmonella, vibrio와 yersinia는 어느 시료에서도 검출되지 않았다. 결과적으로, 학교 급식에서 일반 세균과 병원성 미생물이 존재하는 것은 위생 실천과 밀접하게 연관되어 있으며, 학교 급식소에서 이러한 미생물 오염을 감소시키기 위해서는 보다 체계적이고 효율적인 위생관리가 요망된다.

        This study was intended to collect the baseline information on dietary behavior of adults to develop nutrition education program in the context of health promotion at community level. Nutrients intake of 135 housewives were assessed by 24 hour recall methods. Also food habits, nutrition knowledge and attitude were investigated by self-administered questionnaires. Our results indicated dietary intake of calcium and vitamin B2 were insufficient when they were compared to Korean recommended dietary allowances(RDA). Among five food groups, intakes of milk and dairy product was inadequate as compared to the recommended amount. When we compared the fatness indices to self-evaluated meal problems, overeating and speedy eating were significantly related to fatness indices. Fatness indices such as relative body weight(RBW) and body mass index(BMI) were significantly higher in the subjects who self-evaluated their unsound food behavior as overeating. However, there were no significant differences of food habit score and nutrition knowledge among groups classified by fatness or meal problem. Body fat ratio, frequencies of night snack and skipping meal significantly increased with age. Food habit score was positively related to health-concerned attitude and active attitude toward change. We concluded that nutrition education program for housewives should include detailed strategies to modify unsound food behaviors for healthy weight.

        The purpose of this study was to develop the standardized recipe and to analyze the nutrients of stir-fried whip-arm octopus as one of the kind of traditional local foods in Busan. The standardized recipe was developed by using cookbooks, home recipes, and the recipes by commercial food restaurants. The nutrient was analyzed by using an AOAC method. Sensory evaluations were made on nine sensory attributes by a 12-member panel. As the results, the whip-arm octopus was recorded as a food source for health, rejuvenation in Jasanobo. Since early 1900, the stir-fried method has been used for cooking with the ship-arm octopus. The main ingredients were whip-arm octopus, onion, large green onion as the local stir-fried whip-arm octopus in Busan. The ingredients of soup were shrimp, little neck clam, and water. Seasoning sauce was mixed with red pepper powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion, and sugar. The seasoning sauce was fermented for three days. The results of sensory scores were salty seasoning 3.66/5.00, taste 3.75/5.00, thickness 3.84/5.00, and smell 4.09. Nutrient retention per 100g of the stir-fried whip-arm octopus was 67.54kcal, protein 6.43g, fat 1.66g, Ca 28.06mg, Fe 2.56mg, cholesterol 68mg, and taurin 51mg. Fatty acid consists of various unsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid(46.24%) and oleic acid(33.67%).

        This study evaluated the community-based rehabilitation services provided by the Wonju Public Health Center from Jan. 2000 to Dec. 2002. Ninety-four persons with disabilities dwelling in the community participated and the surveys were completed in an interview during home visits. The respondents' demographic, socio-economic, and medical characteristics, rehabilitation service received, willingness to receive home-visit rehabilitation services, and satisfaction with the rehabilitation services were analyzed by frequency and percentage. A Likert scoring system consisting of five agreement-disagreement categories was applied to each item, consisting of Very Satisfied, Satisfied, So-So, Poorly Satisfied, and Very Poorly Satisfied. The major findings were as follows: 1) The rehabilitation services used included medical rehabilitation (26.9%), followed by social assistance (23.5%), diagnosis by a physician at home (17.3%), medical examination (12.3%), housekeeping services (6.2%), and vocational and educational rehabilitation (3.5%). 2) Of the medical services, the respondents desired physical therapy at home and free rental of rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, canes, walkers, the most, followed by home visit occupational therapy, nursing services, and oriental medicine service in descending order. 3) Some of the respondents expressed so-so satisfaction (50.0%) or dissatisfaction (16.9%) with the rehabilitation services provided by the Wonju Public Health Center. These findings should prove useful when planning or extending community-based rehabilitation programs for the homebound disabled in the community.
