최근 출산율의 감소와 고령화 추세에 따른 인구구조의 급격한 변화로 인하여 보건의료산업의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 이미 많은 선진국들은 IT관련 산업에서 벗어나 전략산업으로 보건의료(HT: Health technology) 산업을 집중육성하고 있다. 한국도 경제성장을 통하여 소득수준이 향상되면서, 국민들은 건강에 대한 관심이 높아지고 이에따라 보건의료에 대한 국민적 수요가 증대됨으로 인하여 정부차원의 연구개발 투자의 확대가 필요하다.이에 본 연구는 산업연관분석을 이용하여 보건의료산업에 대한 국가 연구개발(R&D: Research and Development) 투자가 국민경제에 미치는 효과를 수치화해보고자 한다. 위 분석은 국가 R&D 투자가 이루어지는 보건의료산업을 내생부분이 아닌 외생화시켜 타 산업분야에 대한 순수한 파급 효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 보건의료산업의 생산 및 부가가치유발 효과는 공통적으로 부동산 및 사업서비스와 금융 및 보험부문이 높게 나왔다. 이러한 부문은 보건의료산업과 관련이 있는 세부분류를 포함하고 있음을 의미한다. 또한 보건의료산업의 취업유발효과는 도소매부문이 가장 높은 수치를 나타냈으며, 그 뒤를 부동산 및 사업서비스, 농림수산품 부문 순으로 나타났다. 보건의료산업의 전⋅후방 연쇄효과는 평균인 1보다 낮은 수준을 보이고 있는데 이는 보건의료산업이 최종수요적 원시산업의 형태를 가지고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 실제 2009년 보건의료산업 관련 국가 R&D투자금액을 대입하여 보건의료관련 정부연구개발비가 경제에 미치는 생산 및 부가가치 금액을 도출해본 결과 전체산업에 생산유발은 약 4,932억원, 부가가치유발은 약 2,163억원의 경제적 파급효과를 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

PURPOSES: The purpose of this paper is to estimate expected effects on traffic operational and economic aspects of 2+1 roads application in Korea. METHODS : Micro simulation study using VISSIM 5.0 was used to analyze the operation efficiency of 2+1 roads compared to two-lane highways and four-lane highways. Some scenarios for various traffic volumes were set up in order to analyze the effect of 2+1 roads under various traffic situations. Also imaginary road networks were set up for each type of roads. The MOEs to measure the operation efficiency were selected with average travel speed and delay. For analyzing economic effect of 2+1 roads, construction cost of a specific imaginary 2+1 road was compared to construction cost of a four-lane highway with same conditions. RESULTS: The results of study show that a 2+1 road is more effective with 19 percents higher average travel speed and 39 percents lower average delay than a two-lane highway. In the economic analysis, construction costs to construct a 2+1 road are saved as approximately 26.4~40.7 percents when compared to construction of four-lane highway. CONCLUSIONS: It can be concluded that 2+1 roads can improve the traffic operational level of service for two-lane highways and 2+1 roads can be applied as an effective design alternative for higher-volume two-lane highways in Korea.

SW industry is important at entire industry in Korea and also one of new growth engine industry. This paper deals with the economic effect of SW industry through input-output analysis. We reconstruct the SW industry by extracting and combining SW portion from other industries of the inter-industry relation table. We obtain that production inducement coefficients, value added inducement coefficients, employment inducement coefficients, and job position inducement coefficients are higher than average inducement coefficients of all industries.

The objective of this study was to identify the effects of various environmental effects associated with performance testing results in pig population of domestic pig breeding farms. Performance test data collected from 2,000 to 2,010 were a total of 265,901 heads. By breeds, data consisted of Duroc, Landrace and Yorkshire. Environmental factors considered in models were breed, sex, farm, year of test, season of test, and parity. Broad range of age at testing day averaged at 155 days of age were grouped as A (up to 140 days) B (141~150 days), C (151~160 days), D (161~170 days), and E (greater than 170 days). Traits analyzed were ADG, days to 90 ㎏, end weight (body weight at the test day), rib eye area, back fat thickness. Age group effects were all significant for all the traits studied (p<0.05). As ages at test day get greater, ADG, days to 90 ㎏ and end weight tended to be greater while ultrasound measures of rib eye area and back fat thickness tended to be less. This would be the results of linear age adjustments on ultrasound measures, that caused overestimation in younger age groups and underestimation in older age groups than in average age group (C). This was evidenced by looking at ultrasound measures before linear age adjustments were applied. We conclude that, for more accurate performance testing, testing within guided age interval should be abided. And further researches should be made on biologically justifiable methods of age adjustments especially for ultrasound measures.

For rebuilding and managing fish stocks and fisheries, the biological and socioeconomic evaluations on fisheries management regulations are important. This study aimed to estimate the economic effectiveness of different mesh sizes in the yellow croaker gillnet fishery. In particular, by comparing economic effects of mesh sizes, 50mm and 52mm, it aimed to provide the economic validity for increasing mesh sizes. Analytical results showed that the fishing revenue was higher in the vessels using a mesh size over 52mm than that in the vessels using a mesh size less than 50mm. In addition, the effect of fishing cost reduction was also larger in the vessels using a mesh size over 52mm than that in the vessels using a mesh size less than 50mm.

Technical Barriers to International Trade are emerging as main non-tariff barriers and so MRA is getting widespread. In addition, a significant amount in international trade occurs as intra-industry trade instead of inter-industry trade. Based on the cost reduction of testing and certification except many other effects of MRA, we compute the economic impact of MRA quantitatively. First, we use a Cournot model for intra-industry trade to compute the effect of trade balance caused by the cost reduction of testing and certification. Second, we estimate the effect on production inducement, value added inducement and employment inducement via input-output analysis.

Incheon Port has many advantages for import of log and timber for furniture. More than 50% of lumber which was imported is through Incheon Port. However, most companies move and set up their business by taking lease of workshop. Because of expensive cost of transportation, it is suggested to construct a lumber Industrial district in the North Port in Incheon. By researching the national plans about the North Port and Incheon Ports, an adequate acquaintance of lumber industry in Incheon has been realized. ills study conducted the economic effect analysis for lumber industry clustering and the necessity of cluster composition is derived. Then effectiveness analysis for lumber industry cluster composition is sequentially operated.

본 연구에서는 2000년부터 2008년 사이에 출생한 Duroc종, Landrace종 및 Yorkshire종 종돈의 총 31,455 두의 농장검정 자료를 이용하여 다형질 동물 모형과 다변량 모체효과 모형에 의한 돼지 경제형질의 유 전적 분산성분을 추정하였다. 품종별 조사된 각 형질에 있어서 다변량 모체효과 모형을 이용하여 추정된 상가적 효과에 의한 유전력이 모체효과에 의한 유전력보다 모두 높게 나타났으며, 다형질 동물 모형에서 상가적 효과만 고려했을 때의 유전력이 다변량 모체효과 모형에서 추정된 상가적 효과의 의한 유전력보 다 대부분 높게 추정되었다. 다변량 모체효과 모형을 이용하여 추정된 모체효과에 의한 육종가와 표현형 가와의 상관관계에 있어서 대부분 낮은 정(+)의 상관이거나 강한 부(-)의 상관관계를 보여 품종별 각 형 질에 있어서 모체효과를 적절히 고려하여 육종가와 표현형의 상관관계를 높인다면 보다 나은 개량을 도 모 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 2000년부터 2008년 사이에 출생한 Duroc종, Landrace종 및 Yorkshire종의 GGP (Great Grand Parents) 종돈 31,455두의 농장검정자료를 이용하여 단변량 모체효과 모형에 의한 돼지의 경제형질에 대한 유전모수 및 유전력 추정을 통해 모체효과가 돼지의 경제형질에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보았다. 조사된 모든 형질에서 각 요인에 대한 유의성을 검정한 결과 모든 형질에 있어서 품종, 성, 출생년도, 출 생계절 및 산차의 효과는 고도의 유의성이 인정되었고 (p<0.01), 모체효과 모형을 이용하였을 때 각 품종 별 형질에 대해 추정된 상가적 유전 분산과 모체 유전 분산사이에 부 (-)의 공분산이 존재하고, 이들의 유 전 상관도 대부분 강한 부 (-)의 상관관계를 보여 품종, 형질 및 개량 방향에 따라 모체 효과뿐만 아니라 상가적 효과와 모체 효과간의 상관관계도 적절히 고려한다면 좀 더 효율적인 개량효과를 거둘 수 있을 것 으로 사료된다.

About 50,000 hives of Bombus terrestris are used for pollination of tomato and other economical crops (fruit vegetables and fruit trees) in Korea. Therefore this study was conducted to find out the effective use of B. terrestris and its economic effect in the major beefsteak-tomato cultivation areas from February to August in 2008. The pollinating activities, rate of bite-mark and lifespan of B. terrestris"s hive according to all beefsteak-tomato varieties (Super Momotaro, Zeus42, Mascara and Super Sunroad, 500 ㎡, 9,600～12,000plants) were apparent by regular supplement of pollen (5～6g/3 days) to the hive of B. terrestris. Especially, Super Momotaro and Super Sunroad variety were most distinctive in the effects by regular pollen supplement.
