        PURPOSES : This study sought ways to connect urban above ground roads and underground roads to utilize urban space more efficiently in the development of underground roads, which are currently under development in order to alleviate problems caused by oversaturated above-ground roads. A simulation analysis was performed to develop an operation strategy that connects above-ground and underground roads to prevent congestion in above-ground areas such as entrances and exits from transferring to underground roads as well as to present its effectiveness. METHODS : Traffic efficiency analysis according to the operation strategy of above ground and underground roads was conducted using VISSIM, a microscopic traffic simulation software. The functions implemented in VISSIM were collected to set effectiveness analysis indicators for each underground road operation strategy. The Shinwol-Yeoui Underground Road was selected as the spatial scope of this study, and a surrounding road network was constructed. In addition, full-scale simulation analysis preparations were completed by performing network calibration based on the actual traffic attribute data of underground and surrounding surface roads within the construction scope. Accordingly, a traffic efficiency evaluation analysis was conducted based on the underground road operation strategy. CONCLUSIONS : Information on the increase in traffic volume within the Shinwol-Yeoui underpass was collected every 15 min. The analysis was divided into an analysis of the traffic situation within the underpass through demand control when the service level reached level D and an analysis of when demand control was not performed. It was found that demand control was necessary for the Shinwol-Yeoui Underpass when the internal traffic volume reached 2,500 vehicles/h. In addition, to analyze the spread of traffic and congestion owing to the weaving phenomenon caused by lane changes in the underpass, an analysis was conducted to observe the traffic improvement effect when full lane changes are possible for the Shinwol-Yeoui Underground Road, which currently has some lane-change-permitted sections. The analysis showed that both the maximum traffic volume and average travel speed showed better results when lane changes were allowed, and the communication situation at Yeoui JCT was found optimal.

        PURPOSES : The objective of this study was to review roadway management strategies that can be utilized in the event of a radiological emergency, select feasible alternatives, and simulate a portion of the West Coast network to analyze the effectiveness of these strategies. METHODS : The methodology of the study involved reviewing the relevant literature, extracting the implications, establishing an analysis procedure, and selecting an effectiveness evaluation scale. Using a national transportation database, a network was constructed using Toba, a macroscopic model. RESULTS : A reverse-flow lane system was applied to the West Coast Expressway Glory IC–Hampyeong IC (total 25 km), and a plan to increase the number of lanes was applied to the Seokgyo Street–Shinpyeong Intersection on National Route 23 (total extension 28 km). Consequently, both road management strategies were found to be effective. CONCLUSIONS : This study examined roadway management strategies that can be utilized in the event of a radiological emergency, selected feasible alternatives, and simulated a portion of the West Coast network to verify the effectiveness of these strategies. In the case of reverse flow lanes, it is most effective when applied to expressways that can restrict the entrance and exit of vehicles. In the case of increasing the number of lanes, it is most effective when applied to general roads, and institutional arrangements should be made to enable two-way traffic to use the reserved shoulder lanes.

        PURPOSES : This paper proposes an artificial neural network (ANN)-based real-time traffic signal time design model using real-time field data available at intersections equipped with smart intersections. The proposed model generates suitable traffic signal timings for the next cycle, which are assumed to be near the optimal values based on a set of counted directional real-time traffic volumes. METHODS : A training dataset of optimal traffic signal timing data was prepared through the CORSIM Optimal Signal Timing program developed for this study to find the best signal timings, minimizing intersection control delays estimated with CORSIM and a heuristic searching method. The proposed traffic signal timing design model was developed using a training dataset and an ANN learning process. To determine the difference between the traditional pre-time model primarily used in practice and the proposed model, a comparison test was conducted with historical data obtained for a month at a specific intersection in Uiwang, Korea. RESULTS : The test results revealed that the proposed method could reduce control delays for most of the day compared to the existing methods, excluding the peak hour periods when control delays were similar. This is because existing methods focus only on peak times in practice. CONCLUSIONS : The results indicate that the proposed method enhances the performance of traffic signal systems because it rapidly provides alternatives for all-day cycle periods. This would also reduce the management cost (repeated field data collection) required to increase the performance to that level. A robust traffic-signal timing design model (e.g., ANN) is required to handle various combinations of directional demands.

        Purpose: This study aimed to develop a faculty development program for nursing simulation on perceived knowledge, confidence, and competence, and then evaluate its effects. Method: A one-group pretest–posttest design was used. The eight-hour program covered simulation education theory, scenario design and development, simulation design and operation using patient simulators and standardized patients, debriefing, curriculum integration, simulation evaluation, and faculty development. Thirty-eight participants completed a self-administered questionnaire. Data were collected in August 2021. The study used paired t-tests to analyze differences in perceived knowledge, confidence, and competence before and after the application of the program. Results: The participants were generally satisfied with this program. The results indicated that knowledge, confidence, and competence for nursing simulation significantly improved. Conclusion: The faculty development program positively affected simulation instructors’ knowledge, skill, and attitude. Therefore, this validated and standardized training program can be used for training simulation faculty members at universities and institutions. It can not only reduce the cost and effort required for faculty development at each university but also ultimately contribute to the spread of nursing simulation.

        본 연구는 서로 다른 철학적 관점과 지침원리에 근거한 사회적 HRM 시스템과 경제적 HRM 시스템이 구성원의 태도와 행동 및 조직의 운영역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 한국직업능력개발원에서 조사하 는 인적자본패널(HCCP)의 2007년-2017년 원자료를 이용하여 분석한 결과 첫째, 사회적 HRM 시스템은 구성원의 태도와 행동 및 조직의 운영역량에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 확인하였으나 경제적 HRM 시스템의 조직 운영역량에 관한 효과는 확인되지 않았다. 둘째, 사회적 HRM 시스템이 태도와 행동 및 운영역량 에 미치는 효과는 경제적 HRM 시스템의 효과보다 크다는 증거를 발견하였다. 셋째, 사회적 HRM 시스템 과 경제적 HRM 시스템 간의 정합성 효과는 발견되지 않았다. 즉, 사회적 HRM 시스템 및 경제적 HRM 시스템의 수준이 일치하는 경우가 어느 한쪽의 시스템 수준이 높거나 낮은 경우보다 조직 성과에 미치는 영향이 크지 않음을 확인하였다. 넷째, 사회적 HRM 시스템 수준과 경제적 HRM 시스템 수준이 모두 낮은 경우보다 두 시스템 수준이 모두 높은 경우에 조직 성과에 미치는 긍정적 효과가 더 높음을 실증하였다. 본 연구 결과는 사회적 HRM 시스템이 구성원의 기량을 향상시키고 동기를 부여하며 새로운 직무기회를 제공하는 실무관행을 통해 구성원의 태도와 행동 및 조직의 운영역량에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 의미한다. 반면, 구성원 간의 경쟁을 기본 원리로 삼아 인적자본을 갖춘 스타인재를 확보하고 개인적인 인센티브를 통해 동기를 부여하는 경제적 HRM 시스템만으로는 조직 성과의 향상에 한계가 분명함을 시사한다. 또한, 사회적 HRM 시스템의 실무관행 간에는 상보적인 시너지 효과를 기대할 수 있지만, 경제적 HRM 시스템 내에서는 이와 같은 시너지 창출이 어려움을 암시하고 있다. 사회적 HRM 시스템이 경제적 HRM 시스템보다 효과가 높을 뿐만 아니라 두 HRM 시스템 간의 정합성 효과는 기대하기 어렵다는 본 연구의 결과는 이론적, 실무적 관점에서 증거 기반의 HRM 시스템을 구축하려는 기업에 중요한 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

        Purpose: This study aims to identify the effects of integrated practice applying core nursing skills among nursing students. Method: Methods: The study employs a single-group time-series design. The data were collected from 118 nursing students of S university in D city between from March and June 2019 and analyzed using paired t-tests and SPSS 23.0. Results: The findings reveal that critical thinking disposition (t=-7.70, p<.001), confidence in performing core fundamental nursing skills (t=-6.32, p<.001), learning attitude (t=-3.29, p<.001), class satisfaction (t=-12.95, p<.001), and confidence of integrated practice (t=-13.49, p<.001) show statistically significant improvements. Conclusion: Results: Conclusion: Integrated practices applying core nursing skills improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of nursing students. The results indicate a need to develop practice education strategies such as well-designed subjects and apply fundamental nursing skills to increase the confidence of nursing students.

        2020년 1학기 코로나19로 인해 모든 대학들이 불가피하게 온라인 강의를 진행했다. 그와 함께 온라인 강의에 대한 관심이 급격히 높아져갔다. 하지만 대대적인 온라인 강의는 이번이 처음이어서인지 그에 관한 기존 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. 필자들은 2020년도 1학기 고려대학교 <글쓰기Ⅰ> 과목을 온라인 실시간 강의로 진행했을 뿐만 아니라, 학기 말에는 모든 학생들을 대상으로 그에 관한 설문조사를 실시하 기도 했다. 본고는 그러한 갖가지 수업자료와 설문조사를 토대로 온라인 강의, 특히 실시간 강의의 운영 방법과 교육 효과에 대해 자세히 분석해본 것이다. 그리하여 온라인 강의의 운영 사례를 공유하는 한편, 온라인 교육의 질을 높이는 데 조금이나마 기여하고자 했다.

        In this study, based on the System Dynamics (SD) methodology, the interrelationship between the factors inherent in the operation of the New Technology Certification System (NTCS) in Korea was identified by a causal map containing a feedback loop mechanism in connection with ‘new technology development investment’, ‘commercialization of new technology’, and ‘sales by new technology’. This conceptualized causal map was applied to the simulation of the operations of the New Excellent Technology and Environmental Technology Verification System (NET&ETV) run by the Ministry of Environment among various NTCSs in Korea. A SD computer simulation model was developed to analyze and predict the operational performance of the NET&ETV in terms of key performance indices such as ‘sales by new technology’. Using this model, we predicted the future operational status the NET&ETV and found a policy leverage that greatly influences the operation of the NET&ETV. Also the sensitivity of the key indicators to changes in the external variables in the model was analyzed to find policy leverage.

        최근 글로벌 기업들은 신기술 확보를 위해 사내벤처캐피탈(Corporate Venture Capital, CVC)을 설립하여 기술벤처에 투자하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 CVC의 투자 포트폴리오 운영방식 차이가 모기업의 기술혁신 효과에 영향을 주는지 통계적으로 실증 분석하기 위함에 있다. 구체적으로 CVC의 ‘시드(Seed)’, ‘초기(Early)’, ‘확장(Expansion)’, ‘후기(Late)’ 4가지 투자 단계별로 투자된 금액비중에 따라 매년 투자 포트폴리오 성장잠재성과 리스크 수준이 달라진다는 것을 발견하였고, 포트폴리오의 공격적인 투자성향과 외부 파트너십이 모기업 기술 혁신효과에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 연구를 위해 글로벌 70개 CVC들이 21년간 투자한 실적 데이터를 음이항 패널 회귀분석(negative binomial panel regression)을 통해 검증하였다. 연구의 결과, 벤처 포트폴리오내 시드/초기 단계 기업들에 투자한 금액이 클수록 기술혁신 효과는 증가하지만, 일정수준 이상부터는 오히려 효과가 감소하는 Inverted U형 관계를 확인하였다. 또한, 각 투자단계별 벤처기업들에 공동 투자한 외부 파트너 수가 포트폴리오 운영성향과 기술혁신 효과 사이의 Inverted U형 관계를 약화시키는 조절효과를 통계적으로 실증하였다. 본 논문은 기업이 투자포트폴리오를 구성할 때 투자 단계와 경과시점을 고려할 경우 투자성과를 극대화할 수 있다는 점에서 기획 담당자, 벤처 투자자, 정책 관리자 등에 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

        PURPOSES : This study aimed to evaluate the influence of weigh-in-motion (WIM)-based overloading enforcement systems on the performance of a traffic stream. METHODS: A VISSIM simulator was used for the evaluation of various scenarios. Actual WIM event data collected from the field was used for simulation parameter calibrations. A genetic algorithm was incorporated into the calibration procedure to identify the optimal set of parameters. The impact of the overloading enforcement systems on the traffic stream was investigated from the perspective of mobility, safety, and environmental compatibility. RESULTS: The existing enforcement system is generally superior to the new pilot enforcement system. CONCLUSIONS : Policies and regulations to fully exploit the benefits of WIM-based enforcement systems on freeways need to be developed and implemented. In addition, various enforcement scenarios should be tested on both actual and simulated environments.

        현대인들은 급격한 사회문화의 변화에 대한 적응과 극심한 경쟁 상황 속에서 항상 몸과 마음의 긴장을 느끼며 살아가고 있다. 긴장은 결국 신체적인 또는 정신적인 질병의 형태로 나타나게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구자가 15여 년 동안 자기경영법을 연구하고 개발하여 교육프로그램으로 구성하였다. 본 연구에 적용한 교육 프로그램은 헬피니스 자기경영 운영체계이며, 이 교육을 통해 현대인들이 겪는 긴장, 스트레스 완화에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는지 밝히며, 자기관리와 계발 차원에서 누구나 활용하여 좋은 습관을 가지며, 개인복지에 도움이 될 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 헬피니스 자기경영 운영체계 교육에 참여한 실험집단이 스트레스지각 점수가 감소하고, 직무스트레스 점수가 감소하는 유의한 결과를 내었으나 그 영향이 직무성과로 이어지는 효과성을 검증하지는 못하였다. 그러나 본 연구에서 헬피니스 자기경영 운영체계 교육이 스트레스 완화에는 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것에 의의를 둔다. 연구기간이 2주로 짧게 설계하여 직무성과로 이어지는 효과성을 검증하기에는 제한이 있었다.

        This study conducted an empirical analysis of the effects of job characteristics on work-family conflict relation and quality of life, as well as moderating effects in accordance with operation type, by targeting 245 dietitian/cooks working for contract foodservice companies. The results of this study are as follows. First, the autonomy and feedback had negative (−) effects on work-family conflict while functional diversity had positive (+) effects on work-family conflict. Job identity and job importance had no relation with work-family conflict. Second, work-family conflict had negative (−) effects on job satisfaction, work-family relation, job support, general happiness, and job environment while having positive (+) effects on job stress. Third, in all paths except for the path with effects of work-family conflict on job stress, there were no differences between the group of shops operating 365 days and the group of shops operating 5 days a week. It would be helpful to the effective operation of human resources by emphasizing the necessity of differentiated management for companies with shops operating 365 days and shops operating 5 days a week, as well as managing employees’ job characteristic factors, work-family conflict, and even quality of life.
