PURPOSES : The reliability of traffic volume estimates based on location intelligence data (LID) is evaluated using various statistical techniques. There are several methods for determining statistical significance or relationships between different database sets. We propose a method that best represents the statistical difference between actual LID-based traffic volume estimates and the VDS values (i.e., true values) for the same road segment. METHODS : A total of 2,496 datasets aggregated for 1-h LID and VDS data were subjected to various statistical analyses to evaluate the consistency of the two datasets. The VDS data were defined as the true values for comparison. Four different statistical techniques (procrutes, 2-sample t-test, paired-sample t-test, and model performance rating scale) were applied. RESULTS : In cases where there is a specific pattern (e.g., traffic volume distribution considering peak and off-peak times), distribution tests such as Procrustes or Kolmogorov-Smirnov are useful because not only the prediction accuracy but also the similarity of the data distribution shape is important. CONCLUSIONS : The findings of this study provide important insight into the reliability of LID-based traffic volume estimation. To evaluate the reliability between the two groups, a paired-sample t-test was considered more appropriate than the performance evaluation measure of the machine-learning model. However, it is important to set the acceptance criteria necessary to statistically determine whether the difference between the two groups in the paired-sample t-test varies according to the given problem.
A cell site lease is a legal agreement by which the owner of a building or a piece of land allows a wireless carrier to use part of it for a cell tower for a period of time in return for money. Wireless carriers spend significant money for cell site leases. This paper tries to find factors affecting cell site leases and management solutions to save lease costs. In other words, this research identifies any factor influencing cell site leases among age, gender, and geographical area in the first problem and determines management priorities using an importance-satisfaction model in the second problem. This paper can provide wireless carriers with effective decision making tools and a basis for negotiation of cell site leases, as they do not have enough bases for negotiation.
This paper presents that hybrid cooler of vapor compression type and natural refrigerant circulation type is energy saving cooler using R-410a for indoor mobile telecommunication station. Its performance and operation characterists are done experimently about receiver tank, piping and heat exchanger designs for natural circulation of refrigeration and use of R-410a for fixed height location difference of indoor and outdoor cooler.
The current number of mobile subscribers reached 50 million people can be seen as a nearly saturated state. To attract new customers means that coming to take away from the competition’s customers, so there are the fierce competition to attract to customers. So if there are signs of churn, it should be quickly analysed to avoid moving to competition. This paper estimated the churn of mobile users by using Competing risks model and Bayes’ theorem, and proposed how to prevent it. Proposed method was verified through the experiment, and it has been shown that the results of using the model is effectively predict the probability of churn of mobile users.

Its service development can be understood along with the development of the telecommunication companies as well as cellular companies. It is a differentiated phenomenon in the current research, such as the organic influence between the service quality and product. Of course there are such products placed on sale and enjoyed the common service, but at present there is another case that the product is on the market exclusively with the mobile company in here. This article is to estimate service efficiency for Mobile Communication and Cellular company. In this paper, We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure service efficiency in the Mobile Communication.
The hybrid cooling system of vapor compression system and naturally circulating coolin system using R-410a for indoor mobil tele-communication center(IMTC) is developed and its performance is experimentally studied. Its results are summarized as follows. First, cooling capacity of naturally circulating cooling system is proportional to indoor and outdoor temperature difference and it has max. 4,550 kcal/h at indoor and outdoor air temperature difference 15℃. Second, heat exchangers of evaporator and condenser should be designed and constructed to be able to get maximum refrigerant capacity by naturally circulating force and to enhance heat transfer by refrigerant. Third, cooling capacity of hybrid cooling system has optimum operating point according to refrigerant charging capacity and refrigerant charging capacity of naturally circulating cooling system is 30~50% more than vapor compression refrigeration system.

As the service quality measurement has been developed, various fields of service quality measurement have evolved. Especially the development of the mobile communication service and its status has been watched with keen interest. The growth of mobile communications has not developed alone. It evolved with the growth of the mobile communications company and the device manufacturer. This research investigates the mutual relation sand influence between the service quality and the device quality. This is a distinguished phenomenon within the existing research. Currently in Korea mobile devices can be purchased independently of network provider; however, there are also arrangements whereby the manufacturer supplies devices through only selected service providers. The model of service quality measurement is not a simple fragment model for the service quality anymore. It is required to establish the ultimate model for the service quality to determine if the customer differentiates between the device and service quality. Knowing if a customer differentiates between device and service can aid strong brands when deciding which partners to select for collaborative strategies. The aim of this research is to determine the significant difference between the models of service quality measurement based on differing levels of brand awareness.

In recent European telecommunication base transceiver stations(BTS), a membrane laminated air filter is reported to replace a heat exchanger in order to cool internal digital units of BTS. The concept of using the air filter is for the direct ambient cooling (DAC) of BTS without heat loss generally found in the heat exchanger type BTS. In the present study, a performance evaluation experiment was conducted to investigate the pressure drop characteristics with dust loading and the particle collection efficiency of the air filter for the DAC of BTS. Finally, the long term operation lifetime of the air filter for BTS was suggested with a given fan rotation speed.
