        ZnO/Cu/ZnO (ZCZ) thin films were deposited at room temperature on a glass substrate using direct current (DC) and radio frequency (RF, 13.56 MHz) magnetron sputtering and then the effect of post-deposition electron irradiation on the structural, optical, electrical and transparent heater properties of the films were considered. ZCZ films that were electron beam irradiated at 500 eV showed an increase in the grain sizes of their ZnO(102) and (201) planes to 15.17 nm and 11.51 nm, respectively, from grain sizes of 13.50 nm and 10.60 nm observed in the as deposited films. In addition, the film’s optical and electrical properties also depended on the electron irradiation energies. The highest opto-electrical performance was observed in films electron irradiated at 500 eV. In a heat radiation test, when a bias voltage of 18 V was applied to the film that had been electron irradiated at 500 eV, its steady state temperature was about 90.5 °C. In a repetition test, it reached the steady state temperature within 60 s at all bias voltages.

        전기자동차의 빠른 확산은 지구온난화와 자연재해 대응을 위해 국제적으로 중요한 과제이다. 대중화를 위해 “캐즘(Chasm) 극복”은 필수적이나, 선행연구들은 전기차 초기시장 분석이 대부분이며 캐즘 단계의 연구는 다소 제한적이다. 본 연구는 전기차 초기 단계를 벗어나는 국내시장에서 소비자의 전기차 구매 주요 저해 요인과, 이에 영향을 주는 소비자의 인구통계학적 특성 및 자동차 관련 경험을 설문과 통계 기법을 통해 심층 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 한국 전기차 시장은 캐즘 전 단계로 판단되며, 전기차의 “기술에 대한 낮은 신뢰성”, “경제성에 대한 의문”, “충전-운전 불편성”이 전기차의 주요 수용 저해 요인으로 확인되었다. 지역에 따른 고속/완속 충전 인프라의 적절한 구축, 교육과 홍보를 통한 전기차의 인식개선, 전기차 수용에 우호적인 얼리어답터(Early adopter)의 전기차 수용 촉진은 캐즘을 극복하는 과정에서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 판단된다.

        In this study, the safety aspects were studied by comparing the charge control characteristics of the two vehicles when a failure occurs between the OBC including the charging port or the charging door module (CDM) during slow charging using the In Cable Control Box (ICCB) for a long time.When the AC terminal was momentarily disconnected during charging, the Model-3 vehicle was charged normally if the AC circuit was disconnected up to three times, and the charging control was stopped when the number of disconnects reached four times. However, in the Ioniq-5 vehicle, charging control was normally performed when the disconnected AC circuit was normally connected regardless of the number of disconnection.

        The The purpose of this study is to establish evaluation criteria for the purchase of electric vehicles and to present an evaluation model using quantitative scales for evaluation factors. This study was limited to the study of purchasing factors related to electric vehicles, and the spatial scope was limited to potential buyers in their 20s to 50s living in the Daejeon area. Based on the survey, the factors affecting the purchase factors (energy economics, image, performance, maintenance, price) were examined using the AHP method, and the priorities were analyzed to determine how much influence these factors have on the purchase of electric vehicles. In addition, in order to verify the logical consistency of the survey items, a consistency ratio test (c) was conducted. Through this study, priority considerations for the purchase of electric vehicles were presented, and information on future consumer interest in electric vehicles was conducted. It is judged to be able to provide an opportunity to provide various services for each layer.

        In this paper, a simulation computerized crash analysis evaluation method through reverse engineering was applied to the Defender vehicle to systemize and simplify the certification of small-scale electric vehicles. The Defender vehicle was selected as a benchmarking vehicle that converts into an electric vehicle, and the layout of the frame and element analysis of individual parts were conducted through reverse engineering. To review the vehicle package layout, the fastening and assembly method for each part was analyzed referring to the Defender maintenance guide and parts list, and it was used for frame element technology analysis. In addition, collisions according to the main frame material and the shape of the crash box were analyzed, and various cases were analyzed through parameter study. As a result of the crash analysis, it was found that the mild steel main frame could not guarantee the safety of the vehicle in a fixed wall collision situation, and the ATOS material would increase the collision safety of the Defender relatively. Through the crash analysis according to the shape of the crash box, it was found that the strength of the crash box is too high compared to the main body, and this should be reflected in the design for small-volume production of multiple products.

        This research studied faults that may occur during slow charging using the J1772 adapter of Tesla Model-3 electric vehicles. When the AC terminal was instantaneously disconnected, charging was performed normally when an AC circuit with disconnection up to three disconnection times was connected. Charging control was suspended when the number of disconnection reached four times. However, if the AC disconnection time exceeded 22 seconds, the charging control was stopped regardless of the number of disconnection. When a contact failure occurred at the AC terminal, high surge current and noise occurred. However, when the contact improved, the charging control continued. In terms of safety, it seems necessary to take measures such as stopping charging control when detecting noise.

        When the CP voltage is disconnected, the measured voltage on the ICCB side is measured to be 12V, and the voltage on the OBC side is measured to be 0V. When the PD signal was disconnected, the ICCB-side measured voltage was 0V and the OBC-side measured voltage was 4.5V. From this, disconnected position be found with the voltage value measured. When CP was disconnected for a short time, the PD voltage did not change to 1.5V, and when the PD was disconnected, the CP signal and PD signal changed to 9V, and if the CP and PD voltages were normal, the charge control could be performed normally.

        CFRP materials are one of the excellent lightweight materials of the next generation. Also, the CFRP materials are attracting materials form the global automotive industry. However, CFRP material is made at a high cost of carbon fiber as raw material, so research of production cost reduction into the development of molding equipment and molding process technology related to mass production for the automotive industry is actively administered. Generally, CFRP is known as a high corrosion-resistant material in which no corrosion occurs. However, the investigation of the relationship with corrosion behavior on the roughness of CFRP's conditions according to is rarely studied. In this paper, the surface roughness has conducted three surface roughness conditions given arbitrarily, and the electrochemical evaluation has performed under the electrolysis conditions of 5 wt.% NaCl, which is the salt-water test condition of vehicle parts in automotive industries. Moreover, the samples were analyzed with changes of microstructures by FE-SEM and chemical composition's variation by EDS before and after electrochemical evaluation.

        This study investigates the optimization of sectional shape with two dimensions on the rubber gasket of electric vehicle battery in order to maintain the airtightness and watertightness. For the section optimization, the shape of protruding section was analyzed as design variables and the design point was composed by the design of experiment(DOE) for the selected protruding shape. The uniaxial tensile test was carried out for the analysis of rubber gasket and five parameters of Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic model were derived from the test data in order to construct the strain energy function for nonlinear behavior. The rubber gasket compression analysis was performed by using ANSYS of a commercial software and the performance of optimal shape was verified by performing the tests of watertightness and airtightness on the 3D rubber gasket with the derived section.

        For the automotive application, graphene-glass composites were fabricated using E-glass fiber(GF) coated with various types of graphene nanosheets deposited by electrophoretic deposition. Graphene oxide(GO) was first synthesized using a modified Hummer’s method and its subsequent ultrasonic treatment in deionized water produced a stable stop of the GO. Glass fiber was immersed in water and GO suspension near the copper anode. The potential applied between the electrodes caused the GO to move toward the anode. In addition, the GO coated yarn was exposed to hydrazine hydrate at 100℃ to obtain a reduced graphene oxide(rGO) coating yarn. Both GO and rGO coated glass fiber yarns were used to fabricate unidirectional epoxy-based multi-scale composites by passive lay-up. The presence of a conductive rGO coating on glass fiber improves both the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of the composite. In addition, rGO-based epoxy-glass composites have been used to improve the dielectric constant, providing the option of using this structure for electromagnetic interference shielding.

        High performance lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have attracted considerable attention as essential energy sources for high-technology electrical devices such as electrical vehicles, unmanned drones, uninterruptible power supply, and artificial intelligence robots because of their high energy density (150-250 Wh/kg), long lifetime (> 500 cycles), low toxicity, and low memory effects. Of the high-performance LIB components, cathode materials have a significant effect on the capacity, lifetime, energy density, power density, and operating conditions of high-performance LIBs. This is because cathode materials have limitations with respect to a lower specific capacity and cycling stability as compared to anode materials. In addition, cathode materials present difficulties when used with LIBs in electric vehicles because of their poor rate performance. Therefore, this study summarizes the structural and electrochemical properties of cathode materials for LIBs used in electric vehicles. In addition, we consider unique strategies to improve their structural and electrochemical properties.

        A study on the weight reduction of a motor shaft in electric vehicle by using optimum design technique was carried out. The structural analysis of a motor shaft was performed by using ANSYS to investigate the structural safety. We also used HEEDS to find the optimal hollow shaft thickness. When the material of the hollow shaft is changed to SCM822H by using ANSYS 14.5 and HEEDS MDO, the weight could be reduced by about 53 % compared to the conventional solid one. From this study, the optimized dimensions of a hollow shaft were determined for light weight design.

        A study has been conducted on the structural analysis to reduce the light weight of the electric vehicle rotor shaft. ANSYS Static Structural was used for structural analysis. For weight reduction, the solid shaft was converted into a hollow shaft. The yield strength of the existing material SCM 440 is 655MPa, but to increase its safety, the yield strength is changed to 1,030MPa with SCM822H. At this time, weight reduction of about 47% was achieved. The resonance frequency of the rotor shaft was determined by vibration analysis and the structural safety was analyzed.
