Tube, an intracellular protein of the Toll-pathway, forms a complex with Pelle and MyD88, and regulates a signal transduction to activate NF-κB in Drosophila. To understand the antimicrobial function of TmTube, the induction patterns of TmTube were investigated at 3, 6, 9, 12, and 24 h-post injection of pathogens into 10th to 12th instar larvae. In addition, we investigated the effects of TmTube RNAi on larval mortality and tissue specific AMP expression in response to microbial challenge. Our results will provide a basic information to elucidate the immunological function of TmTube

The purpose of this study was to develop the Functional golf inner-wear by preventing the injuries and enhancing the performance of the Golf swing by checking the influence of the wearing of the functional golf inner-wear considering golf characteristics on the Swing trajectory and Shot distance. Functional inner-wear effective for golf swing was manufactured using the sports taping method. Changes in driver and iron swing before and after wearing the functional golf inner-wear manufactured in this way were measured using trackman equipment. Measurement variables were limited to Club Speed, Attack Angle, Club Path, Ball Speed, Smash Factor, and Priority. Before and after wearing functional golf inner-wear, there were statistically significant differences in driver club speed, iron club speed, driver etch angle, iron club pass, driver ball speed, driver smash factor, iron smash factor, driver carry, iron carry, and right shoulder joint proprioceptive sensory ability. As a result, functional golf inner-wear is effective for ball speed, impact, and carry by increasing club speed and efficient swing. Future research will focus on the development of functional golf that can improve the swing ability in a short game that plays an important role in the golf game through various sports taping grafting technique, textile, special material, film, Research on functional golf inner-wear.

In Korea, the function of Jeong(亭), Jeongja(亭子), and Nujeong(樓亭) architecture is essentially rest. However, in China, where the name Jeong was first coined and used, Jeong was not only used as a place of rest, but also for a variety of functions depending on the time and region, such as building units for guard posts, policing, and mail delivery. But why is it that in Korea, Jeong is primarily perceived and used as place of rest? Starting from this question, this article examines the historical process of the emergence of Jeong and its changing functions, focusing on the official history of China, and then examines the perception of Jeong in Korea through its connection to the dominant function of Jeong in China during the period of Jeong's emergence in Korean literature. This will help us to fundamentally understand the differences between Jeong architecture in Korea and Jeong architecture in China, and to further clarify the historical significance of the types of Jeongja and Nujeong architecture in Korea.

The global pet market is continuously growing as the number of single-person households increases along with the preponderance of the nuclear family, so pet-related industries are steadily growing. In addition, the market related to the health of companion animals is also increasing significantly. Regarding the health of companion animals, it is reported that the incidence of adult diseases, like humans, is growing mainly due to activities in indoor environments and the lack of exercise due to the lack of time for companion animals. This paper studies the antioxidant properties of Jerusalem Artichoke extract, which can be used as a raw material for functional foods related to adult diseases in companion animals by using substances extracted from Jerusalem Artichokes grown by the first author. Samples to be tested were extracted from hot water extraction and ethanol extraction methods according to conditions. To confirm the antioxidant properties, absorbance analysis, thin-layer chromatography (TLC) analysis, polyphenol measurement, flavonoid measurement, and radical scavenging ability measurement by DPPH were performed to determine whether the raw materials applied in this paper could be used. It was confirmed that Jerusalem Artichoke extract is a suitable additive raw material for functional pet food.

목적 : 최근 전자기기의 발달로 인해 근거리 작업이 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인해 안 건강에 대한 우려가 증가함 에 따라 청광 차단에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 방법 : 유해 광선 차단이 가능한 기능성 콘택트렌즈 소재 개발을 위해 reactive yellow 86을 안료 중합체에, 그리고 propyl gallate를 실리콘 하이드로겔 소재에 첨가제로 각각 사용하여 안 의료용 소프트 콘택트렌즈 제조에 적용하였다. 결과 : propyl gallate의 첨가량에 따라 접촉각이 68.25~42.50˚로 측정되었으며, 습윤성이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 제조된 컬러 소프트 콘택트렌즈는 산소투과성 및 습윤성이 우수함과 동시에 자외선 및 청광 차단 효과를 나타내었다. 결론 : reactive yellow 86 및 propyl gallate가 적용된 컬러 콘택트렌즈의 재료의 경우, 기본적인 안 의료용 하이드로젤 렌즈의 물성을 만족시킴과 동시에 우수한 자외선 및 청광차단 효과를 가지는 것으로 판단된다.

정신요양시설은 정신보건법, 정신건강증진 및 정신질환자 복지서비스 지원에 관한 법률의 제정과 개 정의 과정에서 사회복지기능보다는 의료적 기능으로 인식되었다. 정부의 지역사회중심의 커뮤니티케어 정책 발표는 정신요양시설의 존재적 위기감을 가져왔고, 거주이용인의 요양과 사회복귀 목적의 서비스 를 제공하는 정신요양시설은 발전적 미래를 위하여 새로운 방향을 제시하여 할 필요성이 제기되었다. 정신요양시설 미래의 방향성을 설정하기 위해 기존의 문헌과 자료를 탐색하여 정신요양시설의 일반 적 현황과 거주이용인의 특성 변화에 따라 제공된 현재의 정신요양시설 서비스가 거주이용인의 이용만 족, 거주이용인 회복의 성과에 영향을 미쳤는지 살펴보았다. 연구결과 거주이용인의 회복지향을 위한 정신요양시설의 정체성 확립과 기능전환의 방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째 거주이용인의 특성을 반영한 지역사회 거주환경으로 인식제고, 둘째 지원주택의 특성을 적용 한 거주지원시설로 변화 지향, 셋째 사회복지성격의 지원서비스의 명시로 차별성과 정체성 확립, 넷째 거주이용인 회복지향 서비스의 충분한 제공이다. 연구의 한계점으로 나타난 정신요양시설의 물리적 환경, 중점 서비스 방향, 지역사회의 특성이 정신요 양시설 운영에 미치는 영향정도와 정신요양시설과 정신재활시설이 차별성과 통합여부에 대한 연구가 필 요하다.

본고는 부정문에 출현해서 소위 ‘강조’의 의미를 갖는 어기부사 ‘就’와 ‘才’의 화용 기능 차이를 분석했다. 화자가 ‘就’를 사용하는 것은 청자에게 자신의 입장을 일방적 으로 통보하고, 청자의 개입을 차단하기 위해서이다. 반대로 ‘才’는 담화를 시작하며 청자의 동의와 공감을 기대하는 확신 표지 ‘呢’와 결합해 화자의 발화에 대해 청자가 동의하고 공감해 주기를 바란다. 즉, 부정문에서 사용된 ‘就’는 화자의 입장만을 일방 적으로 전달하는 폐쇄적인 표지라면 ‘才’는 청자의 개입을 허용하는 열린 표지라고 할 수 있겠다.

We use vdW-corrected density functional theory (DFT) calculations with additional electron distribution correction to study the water binding chemistry of an Au nanoparticle supported on CeO2(111) with a linear step-edge. The initial structural model of Au/CeO2 used for DFT calculations is constructed by stabilizing a Au9 nanoparticle at the linear step-edge on a CeO2(111) slab. The calculated binding energy of a water molecule clearly shows that the interfacial site between Au and CeO2 binds water more strongly than the binding sites at the surface of Au nanoparticle. Subsequent water dissociation calculation result shows that the interface-bound water can be relatively easily dissociated into–OH and –H, providing a hydroxyl group that can be utilized as an oxygen source for CO oxidation. Based on the low dissociation energy of the interface bound water molecule, we suggest that the water at the Au-CeO2 interface can facilitate further oxidation of Au-bound CO. Our results point out that Au-CeO2 interface-bound water is beneficial for low-temperature oxidation reactions such as the water-gas shift reaction or preferential CO oxidation reaction.

천연물 유래 식물소재의 유용성 탐색의 일환으로 자생하는 실새삼을 열수로 추출하여 몇 가지 이화학적 추출특성과 기능성분 함량 및 생리활성을 측정하였다. 실새삼 중 납, 카드뮴 및 비소는 검출되지 않았으며, 수은은 0.0004ppm으로 허용 기준치 이내의 함량으로 검출되었고, 추출수율은 23.45%, gallic acid에 대응되는 총페놀함량과 naringin에 대응되는 총플라보노이드 함량은 각각 699.8과 373.8 mg/100g 으로 측정되었다. 실새삼 추출물에서 28종의 유리 아미노산이 검출되었으며, 이 중 anserine과 sarcosine의 함량이 가장 높게 측정되었다. 실새삼 추출물과 ascorbic acid의 생리활성을 비교한 결과 추출물의 총환원 력, 전자공여능 및 철환원력은 각각 ascorbic acid의 88%, 56% 및 40%의 크기에 해당하였다. pH 1.5에서 실새삼 추출물의 아질산염 소거능은 ascorbic acid의 78%의 활성을 보였으며, 들기름에 대한 항산화지수는 ascorbic acid의 약 5배에 해당하는 우수한 산화억제 효과를 보여 천연 항산화제로서의 가능성을 보였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a functional senior mixed soymilk for seniors and to provide functional senior-mixed soymilk to prevent disease outbreaks. The isoflavone content of senior soymilk was 0.15±0.01 mg/g. The β-glucan content of senior soymilk was 9.82±0.01 mg/g. The weight gain of mice were significantly higher in the high-fat diet group than in the other groups. The serum triglyceride content was high at 102.67±40.61 mg/dL in the high-fat diet group, but significantly lower at 83.00±42.43 mg/dL in the 20% senior soymilk group. Thus, the results of this study comprehensively suggest that food intake should be ingested for each life cycle with reference to the dietary reference intakes for Koreans. In particular, the elderly in their 50s and older are deficient in protein and weakened immune capacity, so it is imperative that they maintain their health through various foods such as soymilk, which is evenly nutritious.

본 연구의 목적은 독거노인의 주거환경요인인 이 생활만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 이 두 변인과의 관계에서 기능적 지지가 조절변인으로서의 역할을 하는지에 대해 구체적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 대전광역시에 거주하는 65세 이상 독거노인을 대상으로 동구, 중구, 서구, 유성 구, 대덕구에서 각각 90명씩 450명을 대상으로 생활 관리사들의 도움을 얻어 방문 설문조사를 실시해 450부의 설문지를 회수하였다. 연구방법으로는 사회과학을 위한 통계분석 프로그램(SPSS 24.0)을 이 용해 빈도분석, 기술통계, 변수들 간의 관련성을 알아보기 위한 상관분석, 조절효과 검증을 위한 다중 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구결과 인구학적 요인으로는 주관적 건강상태는 가장 정적으로 유의미한 관계를 보였고, 교육수준과 직업이 부적으로 유의미한 관계를 알 수 있었다. 또한, 주거환경 요인인 이 생활만족도에 긍정적으로 영향력을 보이는 것으로 나타났고 기능적 지지의 경우 독거노인의 주거환경 이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향에서 조절효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 더불어 기능적 지지 중에서도 정서적 지지에 비중을 크게 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기능적 지지라 함은 사회적 지지의 두 가지 의 미인 구조적 지지와 기능적 지지의 일부분으로써 물질적 지지, 정서적 지지, 정보적 지지를 모은 용어 이다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 독거노인의 생활만족도 향상을 위하여 네 가지를 제언한 다. 첫째, 독거노인의 주거환경을 재해로부터 안전하게 관리할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 독거노인의 생활만족도에 건강상태가 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타남에 따라 독거노인의 건강을 체계적으로 관리·감독할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 기능적 지지가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향이 유의미하게 나타남에 따라 기능적 지지를 위한 체계적 지원책 마련이 필요하다. 넷째, 독거노인의 생활만족도를 향상시키기 위하여 주거안전성 및 사회적 지지에 대한 지역사회 차원의 지원이 지속적으로 이루어져야 한다.

This research is the second result concerned with control of driving wheelchairs and elevating seats. The standing and lifting seat elevation of wheelchairs with general wheel are controlled by motor speeds of rear wheels. The third wheelchair with mecanum wheels can make the translational motions and is controlled by different method which is designed and applied by the appropriate electrical logic circuits. Two general moving type wheelchairs and translational moving type wheelchair using mecanum wheel can drive with joy stick. All three wheelchiars' seat can be elevated by extra switches attached in chair. Finally, this research paper proposes the practical control method and electrical circuits of power wheelchairs.

The objective of this study was to analyze labeling improvements and evaluate willingness to pay for health functional foods with a focus on the caution for intake. For this study, we conducted a survey on health functional food intake behavior, confirmation and improvements of cautions for intake. We assessed the willingness to pay for improvement of the caution for intake. Consumers anticipate improved immune function, and fatigue improvement after consumption of health functional foods. They mainly checked the function components related to efficacy and effectiveness, ingredients and their contents, ingestion amount and method, expiry date and best mode of storage, product name, and cautions associated with ingestion of health functional foods. They has been difficulties in obtaining sufficient caution information for intake from the current labeling method. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the labeling of caution for intake. The analysis indicated that about 5.14% of the respondents were willing to pay more if new labeling was introduces. However, there is still controversy over their safety, which is damaging to the consumers. Therefore, by providing consumers with accurate and detailed information on cautions for intake, it can contribute to securing safety and improving the quality of health functional foods.
