        효과적인 해양 교통관리 및 사고 예방 체계 구축에 있어서 AIS는 매우 중요한 요소이다. AIS는 선박의 동적, 정적, 항해 정보를 송수신하여 항해 의사결정을 지원하고 효과적인 선박 교통관제에 도움을 준다. 이러한 AIS는 환경적 요인, 기계적 요인 등에 의해서 손실 이 발생하며, 손실이 생긴 AIS 데이터는 선박 운항자 및 관제의 측면에서 의사결정에 혼동을 야기한다. 때문에, 본 연구에서는 AIS 데이터 를 통해 선박 항적 데이터를 수신하고, 해당 항적 데이터의 손실을 복원한다. AIS 데이터 수신 시 저비용의 싱글보드 컴퓨터인 Raspberry Pi와 AIS 수신 보드인 dAISy HAT을 활용하여 하드웨어를, Raspberry Pi의 운영체제인 LINUX환경과Open chart plotter인 OPENCPN을 통해 소 프트웨어를 구성하였다. 해당 시스템을 활용하여 수신한 AIS 데이터의 손실이 발생하는 데이터 중 활용이 가능한 위도, 경도, 시간 데이 터를 통해 손실이 발생한 구간의 데이터를 보간하고, 보간된 데이터는 “INTERP”라는 태그를 통해 기존의 데이터와 함께 인터넷 웹 서버 인 AWS S3에 저장한다. 본 연구를 통하여, AIS 수신기를 통하여 선박 항적 데이터를 수신하고, 손실이 발생한 부분을 보간함으로써 항적 데이터의 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 향후 손실된 AIS 데이터로 인한 선박 항적 데이터의 복원을 위한 다양한 기법을 활용한 연구가 필요하다.

        2008년부터 해양환경관리법에 의해 시행되어 온 해역이용협의 및 해역이용영향평가제도가 분법되어 2025년 해양이용영향평 가법으로 시행되었다. 해양이용협의와 해양이용영향평가의 일부 대상사업에 대하여 변경되었으며, 그 중에서 일반해양이용협의 대상사 업인 해수 인·배수 사업의 특정 규모(관 지름 400 mm 이상이고, 관 길이가 150 m 이상이고, 관의 점용면적이 3,000 m2 이상)와 공유수면 을 점·사용하는 부선 설치 사업(무동력장치, 60일 이내)을 간이해양이용협의 대상으로 지정하여 기존 적용 범위를 완화하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 간이해양이용협의서의 작성방식, 작성자의 전문성 결여, 현황파악을 위한 해양환경자료의 부실 등과 같은 문제점이 여전히 남 아있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 해양이용영향평가법의 적용을 받는 과거 간이해역이용협의 대상사업의 유형을 파악하고, 간이해양이용 협의서 작성 시 문제점 분석과 함께, 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

        Marine medaka (Oryzias dancena)를 이용하여 다양한 수계 염분환경에 따른 주요 수산 병원체들의 감수성과 병원체와 어체 간 생리적 상호작용을 분석하였다. 세균성 병원체인 Edwardsiella piscicida, Vibrio anguillarum 및 V. harveyi의 염분별 생장분석을 분석하였다. 염분별 균주의 생장분석 결과 E. piscicida는 0 psu에서 7±0.2 mm 로 가장 높은 생장을 나타냈으며, V. anguillarum 및 V. harveyi는 30 psu에서 각각 10.8±0.763 및 14±1.732 mm로 활발한 생장을 나타내었다. 3종의 세균성 병원체 중 Marine medaka에 감수성이 가지는 E. piscicida 균주를 사용하여 염분별 액상배지에서 배양한 뒤, 인위감염시켜 염분별 환경에서 누적폐사율을 분석한 결과, high level 1 (3.85×1011 CFU/ml)에서 10 psu 조건에서 60%의 가장 높은 생존율이 나타냈으며, high level 2 (7.7×1010 CFU/ml)에서는 20 psu에서 25%의 가장 낮은 생존율을 보였다. 또한 E. piscicida 균주의 ECP protease 활성 분석 결과, 20 psu에서 가장 높은 효소 활성을 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 염분 환경에 따른 병원체의 생리적 특성과 감염력, 및 숙주의 감수성에 중요한 영향을 미치며, 해양 환경 변화에 따른 수산 질병 예측 및 예방 전략 수립에 유용한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

        This study investigated the correlation between compound malodor and total hydrocarbons (THC) to evaluate the potential use of THC as a predictor of compound malodor. A total of 87 samples were analyzed from five target facilities: two petrochemical manufacturing facilities (A, B), a wastewater treatment facility (C), a recycled plastic injection molding facility (D), and a surfactant manufacturing facility (E). The correlation coefficients of compound malodor and THC for each facility were as follows: A: 0.6698, B: 0.8068, C: –0.2767, D: 0.2071, and E: 0.7695. The correlation coefficient for all facilities was 0.5634, indicating a weak correlation. The coefficients of determination for the regression analysis to predict the compound malodor for facilities A, B, and E were 0.4093, 0.6316, and 0.5695, respectively, which validated the results of the correlation analysis. These values improved to 0.8394, 0.6941, and 0.7476 in the multiple regression analysis with the VOC analysis results added as independent variables. Therefore, it is expected that THC measurement that considers the characteristics of the facility can be used to establish a systematic odor management plan.

        Biodiversity encompasses species diversity, which includes species richness and species evenness. High species diversity is known to contribute to community stability and the potential for maintaining healthy ecosystem functioning. However, the most commonly used species diversity indices have some limitations, as they require species-specific abundance data for each community. In contrast, phylogenetic diversity measures the evolutionary distances between species within a community, reflecting ecological and/or evolutionary divergences and niche differences, without requiring abundance data. This study assessed biodiversity by calculating phylogenetic diversity indices for freshwater fishes (19 species) and aquatic insects (49 species) at three sites within Seoraksan and Odaesan National Parks. The aquatic insects studied belong to the EPT group (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, and Trichoptera), which are widely used as bioindicators of aquatic ecosystems. Two mitochondrial DNA genes were used as molecular markers: COI and cyt b for fish, and COI and 16S rRNA for the EPT - group. Overall, Odaesan National Park exhibited higher phylogenetic diversity in both fishes and aquatic insects compared to Seoraksan National Park, although this difference was not statistically significant. The highest phylogenetic and species diversity were observed for fish at the OD2 site (Woljeong District) and for the EPT group at the OD1 (Gyebangsan) and SA2 (Jangsudae) sites. Correlation analysis revealed that phylogenetic diversity indices were more positively associated with species richness than species diversity indices. This study serves as a pilot project for establishing standardized methods for assessing biodiversity in national park habitats using phylogenetic diversity. It also aims to inform various policies, such as the development of biodiversity assessment systems and the prioritization of protected areas within national parks.

        This study aimed to investigate the difference that convolutional neural network(CNN) shows in the determining osteoporosis on panoramic radiograph by performing a paired test by inputting the original image and the limited image including the cortical bone of the posterior border of the mandible used by radiologists. On panoramic radiographs of a total of 661 subjects (mean age 66.3 years ± 11.42), the area including the cortical bone of the posterior part of the mandible was divided into the left and right sides, and the ROI was set, and the remaining area was masked in black to form the limited image. For training of VGG-16, panoramic radiographs of 243 osteoporosis subjects (mean age 72.67 years ± 7.97) and 222 normal subjects (mean age 53.21 years ± 2.46) were used, and testing 1 and testing 2 were performed on the original and limited images, respectively, using panoramic radiographs of 51 osteoporosis subjects (mean age 72.78 years ± 8.3) and 47 normal subjects (mean age 53.32 years ± 2.81). The accuracy of VGG-16 for determining osteoporosis was 97%, in the testing 1 and 100% in the testing 2. When determining osteoporosis on the original image, CNN showed sensitivity in a wide range of areas including not only the inferior cortical bone of the mandible but also the maxillary and mandibular cancellous bone, cervical spine, and zygomatic bone. When the same ROI including the lower inferior cortical border of the mandible of the osteoporosis group was applied and the sensitive region was compared between the original image and the limited image, the original image showed wider sensitive region in cancellous bone and cortical bone than on the limited image (p<.05). Since osteoporosis is a disease that affects throughout the skeletal system, this finding seems very valid.

        본 논문에서는 컨테이너선의 선형 최적 설계 자동화와 관련하여 연구한 내용과 결과를 정리하였다. 컨테이너선은 일반적으로 프루우드 수 0.26 근처에서 운항하는 선박으로 이 속도에서 운항하는 선박 전용 선형 최적 설계 자동화를 구현하기 위하여 최적화 알고리 즘, 선형 변경 알고리즘, 선박 성능 예측 알고리즘, 자동화 알고리즘 그리고 반복적 계산 기법을 적용하여 컨테이너선의 선형 최적 설계 자동화가 가능한 수치해석 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였으며, HOTCONTAINER라고 명명하였다. 본 연구에서는 선형 최적 설계를 위한 설 계 변수의 적절한 선정을 위하여 민감도 분석 알고리즘을 개발하여 적용하였다. 개발된 선형 최적 설계 자동화 알고리즘의 신뢰성과 실 선 적용성을 파악하기 위하여 세계적으로 다양한 연구가 진행된 컨테이너 선박인 KCS 선박을 대상 선박으로 하여 선형 최적 설계 자동 화 수치해석을 수행하여 그 결과물로써 최적 선박을 도출하고, 대상 선박과 최적 선박의 조파저항과 파계 그리고 파고를 비교하였다. 결 론적으로 최적 선박이 대상 선박과 비교하여 조파저항이 47.63% 감소한 것을 볼 수 있었으며, 배수량과 접수 표면적은 각각 0.50%, 0.39% 감소한 것을 볼 수 있었다.

        River estuaries are dynamic and productive ecosystems with high regional biodiversity. Environmental DNA (eDNA) has become a useful approach to assessing biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems. This study was conducted to investigate fish community characteristics and species diversity in two river estuary ecosystems, the Taehwa River and Changwon Stream. We further compared conventional and eDNA metabarcoding analyses of the fish communities. The conventional survey was performed in May, July, and October 2022, while the eDNA analysis was conducted only in May. We observed various fish species with different life histories, including carp, goby, and marine fish. We also found that migratory fish, such as dace Tribolodon hakonensis, sweetfish Plecoglossus altivelis, and eel Auguilla japonica, occurred in the Taehwa River, suggesting high river connectivity. Marine fish species were predominant in the Changwon Stream, as this river is located close to the sea. The diversity indices showed that the Taehwa River generally had higher species richness, evenness, and diversity values than the Changwon Stream. A total of 9-19 species were detected in the conventional survey for the three sites, whereas 11-18 species were found from eDNA analysis. The findings indicate that the sensitivity of eDNA was similar to or higher than that of the conventional method. Our study findings suggest the efficiency and efficacy of eDNA-based fish community monitoring, although with some shortcomings in applying the genetic marker to Korean fish, including no clear-cut distinction for Korean endemic species and/or genetically closely related species groups.

        This study was undertaken to provide basic data to aid product development and marketing by identifying purchasing behaviors and performing Important Performance Analysis (IPA) according to the consumption values of rice cakes. This study was conducted on 426 consumers who purchased rice cakes. Analysis was performed to determine general characteristics, consumption behaviors, preference for rice cakes, material preferences for rice cake development, need for rice cake development, and importance and satisfaction when selecting rice cakes. Cluster analysis classified consumption values into three clusters. The high and middle consumption value groups contained the greatest proportions of consumers aged over fifty. The high and medium consumption value groups preferred rice cakes more than the low consumption value group. Higher rice cake consumption value was positively associated with the greater preference for rice cakes. Furthermore, the perceived need to develop rice cakes was greatest in the high consumption value group. In addition, importance and satisfaction were positively associated with consumption value. IPA analysis showed that the attributes that require continuous attention because of their contributions to importance and satisfaction were taste, quantity, and hygiene. Different rice cake marketing and product development strategies are required for different consumption values.

        Dissolved organic matter (DOM) is a key component in the biogeochemical cycling in freshwater ecosystem. However, it has been rarely explored, particularly complex river watershed dominated by natural and anthropogenic sources, such as various effluent facility and livestock. The current research developed a new analytical method for TOC/TN (Total Organic Carbon/Total Nitrogen) stable isotope ratio, and distinguish DOM source using stable isotope value (δ13C-DOC) and spectroscopic indices (fluorescence index [FI] and biological index [BIX]). The TOC/TN-IR/MS analytical system was optimized and precision and accuracy were secured using two international standards (IAEA-600 Caffein, IAEA-CH-6 Sucrose). As a result of controlling the instrumental conditions to enable TOC stable isotope analysis even in low-concentration environmental samples (<1 mgC L-1), the minimum detection limit was improved. The 12 potential DOM source were collected from watershed, which includes top-soils, groundwater, plant group (fallen leaves, riparian plants, suspended algae) and effluent group (pig and cow livestock, agricultural land, urban, industry facility, swine facility and wastewater treatment facilities). As a result of comparing characteristics between 12 sources using spectroscopic indices and δ13C-DOC values, it were divided into four groups according to their characteristics as a respective DOM sources. The current study established the TOC/TN stable isotope analyses system for the first time in Korea, and found that spectroscopic indices and δ13C-DOC are very useful tool to trace the origin of organic matter in the aquatic environments through library database.

        In this study, the quality of sow pork was compared with commercial pork to evaluate sow pork as raw meat material for processing. Texture, cooking loss, color, pH, water, lipid, fatty acid, volatile profiles, and sensory characteristics of 3 parts (tenderloin, loin, hind leg) of sow and commercial pork were analyzed. In texture analysis, sow pork had significantly higher shear force compared to commercial pork (tenderloin: sow 143.19 N, commercial 107.79 N; loin: sow 173.62 N, commercial 120.65 N; hind leg: sow 211.76 N, commercial 112.80 N) (p<0.05). There were significant differences in cooking loss, color, and pH, but they differed by part. A total of 49 volatile compounds were identified, and there were significant differences in 22 volatile compounds. In the case of hexanal (one of the warmed-over flavors), which was detected on the largest scale, the relative concentration was significantly higher in the tenderloin of commercial pork (p<0.05). On the other hand, no differences were reported by sensory analysis for hardness, off-flavor, juiciness, oiliness, appearance, taste, and acceptability between cooked sow and commercial pork. This study provides a database on the quality of sow pork by parts, which is considerable to develop proceed meat products using sow meat.

        The bitterling (Cyprinidae, Acheilongnathinae) is a temperate freshwater fish with a unique spawning symbiosis with host mussels. Female bitterlings use their extended ovipositors to lay eggs on the gills of mussels through the mussel's exhalant siphon. In the present study, in April of 2020, we investigated spawning frequencies and patterns of three bitterling fish species in host mussel species in the Nakdong River basin (Hoecheon). During field surveys, a total of four bitterling and three mussel species were found. We observed bitterling's spawning eggs/larvae in the three mussel species: Anodonta arcaeformis (proportion spawned: 45.5%), Corbicula fluminea (12.1%), and Nodularia douglasiae (45.2%). The number of bitterlings’ eggs/larvae per mussel ranged from 1 to 58. Using our developed genetic markers, we identified the eggs/ larvae of each bitterling species in each mussel species (except for A. macropterus): A. arcaeformis (spawned by Acheilognathus yamatsutae), C. fluminea (A. yamatsutae and Tanakia latimarginata), and N. douglasiae (A. yamatsutae, Rhodeus uyekii, and T. latimarginata). Approximately 57.6% of N. douglasiae mussel individuals had eggs/ larvae of more than one bitterling species, suggesting that interspecific competition for occupying spawning grounds is intense. This is the first report on bitterling’s spawning events in the Asian clam C. fluminea from Korea; however, it should be ascertained whether bitterling’s embryo undergoes successful development inside the small mussel and leaves as a free-swimming juvenile. In addition, the importance of its conservation as a new host mussel species for bitterling fishes needs to be studied further.

        본 연구에서는 국내에서 유통되는 식·약공용농산물의 잔 류농약 실태를 조사하기 위해 7품목 72건 대상으로 잔류 농약을 분석했다. 시료는 QuEChERS법으로 전처리한 후 GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS를 이용하여 분석했다. 식·약공용 농산물 총 7품목 72건 중 42건(58.3%)에서 잔류농약이 검 출되었으며, 검출된 농산물은 복분자 1건, 구기자 14건, 대 추 9건, 오미자 10건, 모과 1건, 생강 5건, 영지버섯 2건 이었다. 그 중 구기자 2건(11.8%), 오미자 1건(7.1%), 영 지버섯 2건(100%)에서 잔류농약 허용기준을 초과하여 검 출되었다. 검출농약은 43종으로 살균제 20종 75회, 살충제 23종 58회이었으며, 살균제 carbendazim 및 tebuconazole이 각각 11회로 가장 빈번하게 검출되었다. 허용기준을 초과 하여 검출된 농약은 acetamiprid, cadusafos, chlorpyrifos, flubendiamide, fluopyram, triazophos으로 모두 잔류농약허 용기준이 설정되지 않은 PLS 항목이었다. 결론적으로 잔 류농약 검사 건수, 검출률, 검출빈도를 종합적으로 고려해 볼 때 식·약공용농산물에 대한 지속적인 잔류농약 관리가 필요한 것으로 생각된다.

        2017년 지진에서 다수의 필로티형 건물에 손상이 발생함에 따라 필로티형 건물의 내진성능 평가의 중요성이 대두되 었다. BST면의 활용과 검증은 여러 연구자들에 의해 이미 수행되었다. BST면을 활용하여 필로티형 건물의 횡저항성능을 파악 할 수 있다면, 필로티형 건물의 초기 계획 또는 내진보강 계획 시 횡력저항 시스템을 배치하는데 도움이 될 것이다. 이에 본 연 구에서는 필로티형 건물에 BST면의 적용가능성을 파악한 후, 실제 지진피해를 입은 필로티형 건물의 보강 전과 후의 BST면을 비교하여 횡저항성능을 파악하였다. 그 결과 손상된 필로티형 건물을 보강함에 있어 보강된 평면의 BST면과 밑면 전단력에 대 한 비틀림 모멘트의 비를 기울기로 하는 거동 분석을 통해 필로티형 건물의 횡저항성능을 파악함으로써 보다 효과적인 보강방 안을 제시할 수 있었다.
