        본 연구는 사회복지 전공 대학생의 자원봉사활동의 개인적 특성요인과 자원봉사활동 동기 및 태도 요인 간에 어떠한 관련성이 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 자원봉사활동에 관련된 요인들이 다양하지만 본 연구에서는 개별적 특성 중 특별히 동기, 태도가 각 개인의 특성요인과 어떻게 관련되어 있는지를 밝히고자 하였다. 자원봉사활동 경험과 자원봉사관련 교과목 이수 경험이 있는 I대의 사회복지 전공 대학생 120명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지 조사방법을 사용하였다. 자료분석 방법은 SPSS Win 13.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, t-검정, 일원배치 분산분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 자원봉사활동과 관련된 개인적 특성요인 중에 연령, 출생순위, 봉사업무, 희망업무, 주거지, 그리고 성격유형별 특성에 따라 동기 및 태도요인 중 친교동기, 성취동기, 성취 및 친교 혼합 동기, 성취 및 권력 혼합 동기, 적극성, 사교성, 수용성, 협조성, 객관성, 그리고 자원봉사활동에 대한 지식과 통계적으로 유의미한 관계로 나타났다. 연령에 따라 동기요인 선호 정도에 차이가 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 종교는 자원봉사활동 동기 및 태도요인들과 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사활동의 개인적 특성요인과 동기 및 태도요인의 적용을 기반으로 한 활용가능성을 연구함으로써 사회복지 전공 대학생 자원봉사자에 대한 효율적인 자원봉사업무 배치 상담 및 관리 프로그램 설계에 기초 자료를 실증적으로 적용할 수 있다는 결론을 도출하였다.

        The purpose of this study was to compare clothing values and clothing purchasing behaviors between Korean and American college students, especially men. Also this study was to analyze the clothing values effect on the clothing purchasing behavior. For the practical study, 200 questionaries were surveyed, 110 from Korea and 105 from American. The average and frequency, t-test, χ2, multi-variate analysis of variance and factor analysis were used for this study. The result showed, first, there were little differences in the clothing value aspect. Both Korean college men and American college men considered the theoretical value to be most important, however, the American college men were higher than the Korean college men for theoretical, economic and political values. Compared to the Americans, the Koreans considered social clothing value to be more important but theoretical, economic and political values were less important. Second, there were some differences in most of all the clothing purchasing behaviors. There were slight differences in the reasons for the purchases between Korean and American college men. Both of them said that they purchase clothes to satisfy their needs. Regarding the information sources for the purchase, The Korean college men were slightly higher than the American college men for the media information sources and lower than them for the human information sources. Regarding the place where the clothes were purchased, the Korean college men preferred to make purchases at department stores, and the American college men preferred shopping malls. Regarding the monthly expenses for clothing, less than 50,000 won($50) was the average for most of the Korean women, but most of the American college women spent 100,000 150,000 won($150) per month. Third, the clothing value was different in the reason for purchasing, the purchasing information source, the purchasing place, and the monthly expenses for the clothing.

        A number of factors are thought to influence people’s food choices, and there has recently been an increasing emphasis on understanding the consumer’s motives behind choice of food types. For one thing, an individual’s personal food-related tastes are thought to certainly influence personal food choice. This study aimed to discover the new motives for food, and what motives determine the food choice of foreigners living in Korea. Subjects (N=210) completed a Food Choice Questionnaire (65 questions) measuring specific motives and sociodemographic conditions (9 questions). Factor analysis and ANOVA were used to ascertain the food choice motives. Fourteen factors emerged, which were labeled health, mood, convenience, sensory appeal, natural content, price, weight control, familarity, political value, ecological protection. and religion. We also found that motives for new food choices include national image and information, ethnic food, and sanitation. Items were analysed to determine differences according to nationality, religion, occupation, and length of residence in Korea. All subjects thought sanitation is the most important motive in choice of food, and health, natural content, and ethnic food were also important.

        본 연구는 현실에서의 성취동기(achievement motivation)가 컴퓨터 게임이라는 가상 현실에서 어떻게 나타나는지를 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다섯 가지 성취동기의 하위 척도 (과업지향성, 자기책임성, 도전성, 승부 및 결과에 대한 관심도, 미래에 대한 관심도)를 통해 현실에서의 성취동기와 컴퓨터 게임 내에서의 성취동기를 조사하였다. 결과는 현실 내 성취동기와 컴퓨터 게임 내 성취동기는 전반적으로 정적 상관을 가지고 있음이 드러났지만, 몇 가지 점에서 다른 심리적 양상이 발견되었다. 즉, 컴퓨터 가상 공간에서 보다 현실 공간에서 미래에 대한 보다 많은 관심을 보였으며, 특히, 자기 책임성항목과 관련하여 컴퓨터 공간에서는 공동과제대한 실수를 타인에 귀인하는 반면, 현실공간에서는 자기자신에 대한 실수로 귀인하는 반대의 경향성을 보이고 있다. 결론적으로 현실에서의 성취동기와 컴퓨터 게임 수행에 과련 된 성취동기는 많은 연관성을 가졌지만, 컴퓨터 게임이라는 가상공간에서는 몇 가지 특수한 형식으로 성취동기에 대한 심적 패턴이 형성된다고 볼 수 있다.

        The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between personal value and the motivation for drinking of Korean undergraduate student alcohol drinkers. Data were obtained from undergraduate students experienced in alcohol consumption in Seoul, Kyeonggi-do, and Kyeongsangnam-do. Trained researchers for this particular study conducted the survey and data from 208 students was analyzed using the SPSS package program. In this study, two personal values were examined: 'internal value' and 'external value', and four motives for drinking alcohol were identified: social motive, coping motive, enhancement motive, and conformity motive. The results of the present study showed that personal value had significant effects on the motives for drinking of Korean undergraduate student alcohol drinkers: 1) The internal value was significant on the coping motive and enhancement motive. 2) The external value was significant on the social motive. 3) Neither value was significant on the conformity motive. Based on the findings of the present study, personal value would be a useful variable in the field of alcoholic beverage marketing such as alcohol consumption, consumer behaviors and segmentation of the alcoholic beverage market.

        Based on Vygotskian sociocultural theory, this study aims to investigate the longitudinal changes in English as a second language (ESL) learning, especially on motivation and learner beliefs for two recent Korean immigrants to Toronto. For 10 months, the researcher interviewed the two participants who shared similarities in age, previous work experiences, and perceived socio-economic status. Their comments were tape-recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by using NVivo, a qualitative data analysis software program. The findings indicate that Korean immigrants' ESL learning motivation was comprised of six constructs: job motivation, communicative need, heuristic motivation, context-specific motivation, self-satisfactory motivation, and demotivation/amotivation. Despite the two participants' external similarities, their monthly changes in ESL learning motivation showed drastic differences. An L2 learner belief of the positive relation between English proficiency and increased job opportunity was identified as a major explanatory factor for this difference between the two participants. This study suggests that L2 learner's beliefs may function as mediational tools from the perspective of sociocultural theory, with the learner's belief influencing job motivation.

        In this paper, we introduce the performance evaluation and development of Raw VLBI Data Buffer(RVDB) system for the synchronized playback processing of observed data in Korea-Japan Joint VLBI Correlator(KJJVC). The high-speed correlation processing system is under development so that the radio data obtained with 8192 channels and 8 Gbps speed from 16 stations will be able to be processed. When the recorded data of each station are played to correlator, the time synchronization of each station is very important because the correlator should process the data obtained with same time and condition. There are many types of recorder systems in the East Asia VLBI Network (EAVN). Therefore it is required to prepare the special time synchronized playback processing system to synchronize the time tag of observed data. The developed RVDB system consists of Data Input Output(DIO), 10GbE switch, and Disk Data Buffer(DDB). It can record the data with maximum 2 Gbps speed, and can play back the data to correlator with nominal 2 Gbps speed. To enable to play back the data of different playback system to the correlator, we developed the high-speed time synchronized playback processing system. We carried out the experiments of playing back and correlation for gigabit correlator and VCS trial product so as to confirm the performance of developed time synchronized playback processing system. In case of online and offline playing back experiment for gigabit correlator, we confirmed that the online and offline correlation results were the same. In case of playing back experiment for VCS trial product, we verified that the wide band and narrow band correlation results were also the same. Through the playing back experiments of RVDB system, the effectiveness of developed RVDB system was verified. In this paper, the system design, construction and experimental results are shown briefly.

        본 연구는 청소년들의 인터넷 게임동기에 있어서 사교성과 공격성이 그들의 대인관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 연구결과, 인터넷게임 동기(사교성, 공격성)에 따라 가상적 대인관계는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청소년들의 인터넷게임 동기는 그들의 가상적 대인관계에 영향을 끼치기 때문에, 공격성보다는 사교성의 동기로 인터넷게임을 하도록 장려하고, 올바른 가상적 대인관계를 형성할 수 있도록 유도하는 것이 필요하다.

        The principal objective of this study was to assess the effects of food involvement moderating the relationship between food choice motives, including health concerns, weight control and ethical concern, and fruit consumption. A total of 290 questionnaires were completed. Moderated regression analysis was utilized to assess the relationships among variables. The results of the study showed that the results of data analysis also indicated good model fit. The direct effects of health concerns on fruit consumption were statistically significant in Models 1 and 2. However, the direct effects of ethical concern on fruit consumption were statistically significant in Model 3. As had been expected, the interaction of ethical concerns and food involvement exerted a significant effect on fruit consumption in Model 3. However, the interaction of health concern and food involvement, as well as weight control and food involvement exerted no significant effects on fruit consumption. Moreover, ethical concerns about fruit consumption exerted a significant negative effect at the low level and a positive effect at the high level of food involvement, except in cases in which the level of food involvement was medium. The results of this study revealed that fruit marketers should attach importance to the interaction effect of food involvement in order to better understand the elements of market demand and customer loyalty.
