        본 연구에서는 PMV 온열환경이 변화함에 따라 LED광원의 조도가 시작업 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 오류검색수정작업 평가지를 개발하였고, 오류검색수정작업의 정확도 및 소요시간을 분석하였다. 또한 작업을 진행하면서 느끼는 시각피로도에 대한 설문을 실시하여 주관적인 평가도 병행하였다. 본 실험의 PMV 온열환경 은 온도 17±1∼29±1 ℃, 습도 50±5∼60±5 % 의 범위에서 PMV 값에 따라 4가지 형태를 구성하였으며, LED광원 의 조도는 400lx, 700lx, 1000lx의 3가지 형태로 구성하여 실험을 진행하였다. 오류검색수정작업의 정확도(LED p 값=0.058, PMV*LED p값=0.083) 및 소요시간(LED p값=0.004, PMV p값=0.000)은 PMV 온열환경과 LED광원의 조 도 변화에 모두 유의하였으나, 피로도는 PMV 온열환경(p값=0.003)과 유의한 차이를 보였다.

        The object of this paper is to evaluate a working environment noise at manufacturing process of metal material products. To accomplish the object; An employee noise exposure criteria, which is mounted in big size enterprise, was investigated. The noise at the 460 points of the manufacturing process machine in the 38 processes of the 1 factories were measured. The database of the noise was built from the measurement data. The major sound sources and frequency range for the manufacturing process of metal material product machine was investigated.         Recent trends in rail industry can be characterized by the multifunctionality and very high-speed modes of operations. In particular, the adoption of the unmaned or operatorless operations has been getting increased attention in which case ensuring systems safety is crucial. On the other hand, according to the result of analyzing rail accidents, the human/operator errors have turned out to be one of the key causes of the accidents. Therefore, the effort of improving the work environment of locomotive cabs is quite necessary in order to decrease the accidents. The objective of this paper is studying on how to incorporate the factors related to the train operators in the design of the locomotive cabs and also on how to evaluate the design results obtained, which is subsequently reflected in the generation of the test and evaluation procedure. The approach taken is based on systems engineering, yielding the procedure document as a result. The results obtained in the paper can be useful in confirming the design of locomotive cabs utilizing the domestic human/operator measure. Also, the way of achieving the objectives can be utilized to cover the expanded rail systems development with appropriate design activities added.

        This study was conducted to compare the value of the working environment measurement with the expected exposure value drawn by using a program, thereby going to investigate whether it is available to the risk assessment of domestic workplace. We used the ECETOC TRA program which is one of the exposure predictive models. Four kinds of substances were measured in two workplace which was exposed to organic solvents and one kind of substance was measured in three workplace which was exposed to dusts and then an exposure assessment of chemical risk factors was conducted. The result value of the working environment measurement, solid substance exceeded standard in one site, and it was found that the other solid and liquid substances were within the standard. The value of the exposure assessment program showd the same result; it was higher than the value of the working environment measurement, suggesting that due to its nature, the exposure assessment program is run only on the worst situation. Therefore, it was found that when the exposure assesment program is used, variables should be substituted only after accurately assessing the workplace and it is a good idea to assess the risk beforehand with the exposure assessment program in the case of the workplace which employs no more than 5 people and where it is hard to assess the working environment.

        Recently, media coverages of the asbestos were gradually increased. In fact, serious problems have been found in asbestos removal. This study was performed against 375 workers from 30 asbestos removal firms from August 7 to December 10, 2010 in order to find out work conditions for asbestos removal. Then, the following results were obtained:
        In terms of area, Seoul/Gyeonggi was the highest with 218 workers (58.1%). In terms of age, '41-50' was the highest among 140 workers (37.3%). The mean age was 50.3. When asked if they smoke cigarette, 272 respondents (72.5%) said 'YES.' When asked how many cigarettes they smoke a day, 11-20 (190 workers, 73.2%) was the highest, followed by 10 or less (43, 15.8%) and 'a pack or more (30, 11.0%).' In terms of average off-days per year, '1 month or less (257 workers, 68.5%)' was the highest, followed by '1-3 month(s) (77 workers, 20.5%)' and '3 months or more (41 workers, 10.9%).' In terms of annual income, 'KRW 10-20 million' was the highest with 162 workers (43.2%). No one was able to earn more than KRW 50 million. In terms of the workers' knowledge of the danger of asbestos, when asked if they were aware that asbestos can cause lung cancer, 348 respondents (92.8%) answered 'YES' while 7 workers (1.9%) said 'I am Not Sure.' According to multi-response analysis on protective clothing and gear, 369 respondents (98.9%) put on 'dust respirator' while 364 workers (97.6%) wore 'helmet.' In addition, 220 respondents (59.0%) answered that they wore 'protective clothing.' When asked how the protective clothing and gear were handled after use, 'seal them up in a designated bag and have them disposed of properly' was the response that has the highest percentage (360 respondents, 96.0%). The questionnaire consisted of 13 questions. Cronbach's alpha, which was performed to assess the reliability of the survey, was 0.858.

        Recent technological advances in the domestic railway industry have turned out to deliver a profound impact on the forefront of other industries as well. Furthermore, the introduction of the high-speed railway systems has made it possible to travel around our country in a day, thereby changing our life styles a lot. However, it has been well recognized that many factors can cause unanticipated accidents during the operation. One of the causes is known to be the human errors made by the train operators in locomotive cabs. The problem is getting more serious as the trains run at high speed. As such, the objective of this paper is on how to improve the work environment of the locomotive cabs. Our approach is based on the systems engineering methodology. Specifically, we first identify the context and scope of the problem to be solved. We then continue our effort in deriving the requirements set to accomplish the improvement. These results are utilized in constructing a computer-aided management system for test and evaluation intended for the improvement. The approach taken and the results obtained in this paper is expected to make a contribution on the route to keeping our nation's technologies on the competitive edges in the high-speed railway systems industry.

        The work environment of locomotive cabs has long been an important issue in the design of railload systems since it is quite critical in terms of system's operational safety. It is getting more attention as the running speed of the trains goes up these days. To this end, this paper describes how to systematically construct a DB for the requirements set in the course of the improvement process for the aforementioned cab work environment. As a solution approach, we have adopted the requirement architecture concept to cover the whole activities required to do such as in requirements generation, DB construction, change management, and traceability management. Specifically, based on the requirement architecture framework a requirement process to collect requirements for improvement is discussed, and the guide lines are suggested for verification and validation of the developed requirements. In addition, a base schema and requirements templates are developed, which will be used in generating requirements and constructing a DB. Finally, it is demonstrated how the requirements DB for locomotive cabs can be constructed using a computer-aided tool in an integrated fashion.

        In his non-hierarchical approach to art making, Robert Irwin questions how art is made. In the process, he seems to come down on both sides of the Modernism versus Postmodernism debate. Insofar as he wants to advance the avant‐garde tenets of modern art, he can be thought of as a modernist. But insofar as he denies Modernism’s claims for transcendental status, he can be thought of as a postmodernist. Irwin’s light and space environments, in particular, are conditioned by their basic attachments to their surroundings. They reveal the commonplace, but largely overlooked, richness of visual perception. By encouraging his viewers to open their eyes, Irwin wants them to engage in an act of looking, one that manipulates the basic syntax of seeing. This paper discusses Irwin’s contributions to the art of his time (basically the transitional period between Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism) using as an example a light and space environment he created as the backdrop for the “First National Symposium on Habitability.” This work was later reprised in 1980 as an independent installation. These works are examined to show how Irwin’s art displaces modernist notions of authoritative (and authoritarian) quality with postmodernist ideas of direct (and demotic) value.

        목적 : 본 연구는 작업치료를 전공하고 특수교육지원센터와 학교에 기반을 둔 치료지원 서비스 전문가의 근무환경 과 근무 환경에 따른 직무만족도를 알아보기 위해 시행되었으며, 향후 교육기반 작업치료사의 복지향상과 최적의 치료지원 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 2010년 1월 4일부터 2010년 1월 20일까지 전국에 있는 특수교육지원센터와 학교에 근무하고 있는 작 업치료 전공자를 대상으로 전화, 우편, 이메일을 통해 설문지를 발송하고, 회수한 총 60부를 분석에 사용하였다. 결과 : 고용형태는 계약직 전일제, 직책은 작업치료사, 급여는 150~200만원 미만, 순회 근무지 수는 1곳, 대상 아동 의 장애유형은 지적장애, 치료 기구 및 장비의 구비 상태는‘그저 그렇다’로, 관련서비스 팀원으로 특수교사로 대 답한 응답자가 가장 많았다. 학교에 근무할 때 전체만족도가 높았고, 정규직이고, 급여가 많을수록, 1일 치료 아동 수가 적을수록 보상체계 만족도는 높았으며 근무처와 직책에 따라 자율성 만족도에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 치료기 구 및 장비 구비 여부에 따라 업무만족도에 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 1일 치료 아동 수에 따라 인정지위와 자율성, 만족도 요인에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직무만족도 요인 중 업무체계와 보상체계, 업무체계와 자율성, 인간관계 와 인정지위에서 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 결론 : 특수교육지원센터 및 학교에서 근무하는 작업치료사를 비롯한 치료지원 전문가들의 근무환경 개선과 직무 만족도 향상을 위한 정책과 방안이 필요하며 학교기반 작업치료사의 역할과 전문성을 확보하기 위해 세미나 및 보 수교육, 학교 기반 작업치료와 관련된 다양한 연구가 필요하다.

        The goal of this study is to propose the effective method of investigating the injurious factors and make improvement plans that prevents the workers against musculoskeletal disorders at plastic product companies and the same business field with similar working conditions and process. A questionnaire are adopted to analyze the symptoms of workers' musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomic assessment methods such as RULA, OWAS are performed to find out harmful factors of workplace and working posture. Based on the result of the evaluation, to enhance the working environment, improvement of worktable, working space, tools, and outfit was suggested, and induction of mechanical system was also suggested. It can be concluded that the method and process described in this paper could be helpful for diagnosing the musculoskeletal disorders risk factors and making improvement plans to the plastic product companies and the same business field with similar working conditions and process.

        Recently, obesity that is increasingly becoming a major cause of various diseases and safety accidents in work places is emerging as a serious social problem. It is due to economic growth and improvement of living environments. Many researches are trying to find the root cause of obesity. Thus, the main objective of this study is to analyze obesity index of citizens in Seoul which is a metropolis of Korea and a densely populated district. The data used in this study included 179 men and 152 woman subjects who are living in Seoul. Somatotype using Rohrer Index can be classified by 3 types (thin, standard, obesity). In order to analyze a detailed somatotype of citizens, age groups are divided into 30~34, 35~39, 40~49, and 50~59 years according to gender, respectively. In order to compare and analyze data, Coefficient of Variance, Cronbach's Alpha, Rohrer Idex and Drop Value were used in this study. The results of this study can be applied to the comfortable and safe work environments for workers.

        목적 : 본 연구는 작업치료를 받고 있는 환자와 보호자 중 뇌졸중 환자를 중심으로 유니버설 디자인에 대한 인지도와 현재 생활하고 있는 주택 환경 내에 유니버설 디자인 적용의 필요도 및 중요도를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구방법 : 서울과 경기도의 종합병원에서 작업치료를 받고 있는 외래 환자와 보호자 112명을 대상으로 2006년 11월 27일~12월 22일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 조사 대상자의 일반적 사항, 유니버설 디자인에 대한 지식 여부, 현재 거주하고 있는 주택의 편리도, 유니버설 디자인에 대한 필요도 및 중요도로 구성되었다. 주택의 편리도, 유니버설 디자인에 대한 필요도 및 중요도에 관한 설문은 주택 입구, 현관, 방, 부엌, 욕실, 주택 전체에 있는 설비 및 가구에 대한 항목으로 나누어 총 51문항으로 구성되어 있고 4점 척도로 구성되었다. 결과 : 유니버설 디자인에 대해서 이번 연구 전에 들어본 적이 있는 사람은 환자 33.9%, 보호자 35.7%이었다. 유니버설 디자인을 가옥에 적용할 의사는 환자의 경우 33.9%, 보호자의 경우 57.1%이었다. 환자 및 보호자가 현재 생활하고 있는 주택 전반에 걸친 편리도는 환자의 경우 2.89점, 보호자의 경우 2.82점이었다. 유니버설 디자인의 적용이 필요한 부분은 환자나 보호자 모두 주택 입구, 욕실, 주택 전체에 있는 설비 및 가구의 순서였다. 유니버설 디자인의 적용이 중요한 부분은 환자의 경우 주택 입구, 욕실, 현관의 순서였고 보호자의 경우에는 주택 입구, 부엌, 욕실의 순서로 중요하다고 하였다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과 유니버설 디자인에 대한 환자와 보호자의 인식도가 낮은 편으로 유니버설 디자인을 적용한 가옥 구조의 변경과 보조도구의 사용을 통해 얻을 수 있는 장점을 환자와 보호자들에게 인식시켜줄 필요가 있고 유니버설 디자인을 가옥에 적용 할 때 주택 입구, 욕실, 부엌에 대한 세심한 고려가 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

        Recently most universities are suffering from students leaving their majors. In order to make a countermeasure for reducing major separation rate, many universities are trying to find a proper solution. As a similar endeavor, this paper uses decision tree algorithm which is one of the data mining techniques which conduct grouping or prediction into several sub-groups from interested groups. This technique can analyze a feature of type on students leaving their majors. The dataset consists of 5,115 features through data selection from total data of 13,346 collected from a university in Kangwon-Do during seven years(2000.3.1 2006.6.30). The main objective of this study is to evaluate performance of algorithms including CHAID, CART and C4.5 for classification of students leaving their majors with ROC Chart, Lift Chart and Gains Chart. Also, this study provides values about accuracy, sensitivity, specificity using classification table. According to the analysis result, CART showed the best performance for classification of students leaving their majors.

        This paper considers a job shop environment where machines are shared by several sub-production systems. The local objective of a sub-production system is the minimization of total completion time. In a centralized environment, a single decision maker has complete information of processing time, job routing and local objectives. In this case, the problem is a traditional job shop scheduling problem to minimize the total completion time which is well-known NP-hard problem. Meanwhile, it is assumed that no sub-production system has a complete view of the entire system in a distributed environment. This paper proposes a distributed scheduling methodology that maintains autonomy of each sub-production system while pursuing system-wide performance in job shop environment. The proposed method is compared to the performance of centralized solutions.

        The purpose of this study is to execute the investigation of injurious factors causing muscle-skeletal diseases at an automotive glass manufacturing company and, on the basis of the results, to enhance productivity by the improvement of working environment. By using an survey and an ergonomic evaluation method, symptoms of muscle-skeletal diseases of workers and working postures at each process were analyzed, and quantitative evaluation of muscle-skeletal disease risk against each process was performed. Based on the result of the evaluation, to enhance the working environment, improvement of worktable, working space, tools, and outfit was suggested, and induction of mechanical system was also suggested. Suggested improvement plan was applied to the workplace step by step and it is confirmed that improvement plan not only removes the injurious factors of muscle-skeletal diseases but also is effective to enhance productivity.

        A multi axis whetstone polishing system, which uses the flow system of the stone polishing machine head, has been developed. The test results show that the defect by line contact polishing does not occur in both ends of the stone and that it came to trim smoothly. In terms of the surface roughness, the corresponding index was decreased by 3.6 times, improving the polishing effect greatly. It decreased significantly the dust and noise with the wet polishing. The factors of the duty evasion at production site can thus be solved with the work environment improvement against the polishing process of the stone industry and work intensive reduction.
