        해양치유 프로그램에 대한 관심은 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 정부와 업계 실무자 모두에서 급속도로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 아직까 지 소비자 관점에서 해양치유 프로그램이나 해양치유 체험에 대한 유용성, 만족도, 편익 등을 이해하고자 시도한 연구는 부족한 실정이 다. 이에 이 논문에서는 후기수용모델을 적용하여 해양치유 프로그램 참여자의 지각된 유용성과 기대일치, 만족, 지속참여의도 간 관계를 구조적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 자료수집은 부산시 해양치유 프로그램 운영 기간인 2022년 9~10월까지 매 주말 사전 훈련된 면접원에 의 한 면접조사 방식으로 실시하였고, 총 203부의 유효 표본을 분석에 활용하였다. 분석 결과 해양치유 프로그램에 대한 기대일치는 프로그 램 참여자의 만족과 프로그램의 지각된 유용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 해양치유 프로그램 참여자 만족은 프로그램 지속참여의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 해양치유 프로그램에 대한 지각된 유용성 역시 프로그램 참여자 만족 및 지속 참여의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.

        With the development of the national economy, the cultivation of technical talents is urg ent. As the largest economical province in China, the government of Guangdong Province needs to quickly enhance the rationality, effectiveness, and practicality of policies, fully leve rage the mediating, guiding, and promoting role of policy tools. This research from a new perspective to analyze current research focus, which can provide some reference for impro ving region vocational education policies. This research adopted a qualitative research method to analyze the text of college-enter prise cooperation policies in Guangdong Province under the background of the “Double Hi gh Program”, based on the perspective of McDonnell & Elmore policy tools, constructed a n analytical framework model, formed “X-axis” policy tools and “Y-axis” talent cultivation m odel elements, used WPS software to fully collect effective policy texts, and rigorously enc oded and analyzed policy texts with the NVivo12Plus software. Through the previous researches and the key words frequency analysis of policy texts, w hich can clarify the research focus of Guangdong Province's college-enterprise cooperation policy under the background of the “Double High Program”. By analyzing the proportion o f policy tools and the proportion of talent cultivation model elements, it can reveal the fra mework, characteristics, and challenges of current policies. From three dimensions analysis: policy content, policy tools and talent cultivation model elements, it can achieve conclusio n, suggestions and future approaches for current policies. The distribution of the five policy tools for college-enterprise cooperation policy in Guan gdong Province is not balanced, indicating that the current policies need to adjust the poli cy tool proportion in a timely manner, enhance rationality and effectiveness. From the freq uency of appearance of talent cultivation model elements, the proportion of mode element s is the highest, while the proportion of concept elements is the lowest. Therefore, in futu re policy formulation, it is necessary to increase the proportion of concept elements, instill correct values, optimize talent cultivation model, and enhance the practicality of policies.

        중년여성은 발달주기 상 신체적, 정신적 스트레스를 많이 받는 시기이다. 이러한 스트레스는 만성적인 고통과 질병으 로 연결되기 때문에 삶의 질을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 이에 대한 대안으로 산림치유가 주목받고 있다. 산림치유는 산림의 치유적 요소를 통해 인간의 건강을 향상시키는 것을 말한다. 이에 본 연구는 감각통찰기반 산림치유 프로그램이 중년 여성의 스트레스 저감에 효과가 있는지를 확인하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 산림치유 프로그램에 참가하기 를 원하는 중년 여성을 모집하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 각 20명씩 무작위 배정하여 사전-사후 검사를 실시하였다. 산림치유 프로그램은 감각과 통찰 기반으로 6시간 8회기로 구성되었다. 산림치유 프로그램 장소는 제주 사려니숲에서 진행하였으며, 측정도구는 지각된 스트레스, 여가만족도, 맥파검사를 통한 스트레스 지수를 측정하여 비교하였다. 연구 결과 산림치유 프로그램은 스트레스를 낮추고, 여가만족도를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

        목적 본 연구의 목적은 성인 여성을 대상으로 예방적 선불교 명상 프로그램을 실시하고 프로그램의 실시가 심리적 안녕감과 자기자비 증진에 효과가 있는 확 인하는 것이다. 방법 유사실험설계(Quasi-experimental design)를 통하여 성인 여성 실험집 단 19명, 통제집단 23명을 대상으로 하는 프로그램 효과 검증을 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 2023년 2월 2박 3일 예방적 선불교 명상 프로그램을 실시하고, 심 리적 안녕감 척도와 자기자비 척도를 활용하여 사전-사후 검사를 실시하여 프 로그램의 효과를 검증하였다. 결과 첫째, 예방적 선불교 명상 프로그램은 성인 여성의 심리적 안녕감의 하위 요인 중 긍정적 대인관계, 척도 전체에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났 다. 둘째, 예방적 선불교 명상 프로그램은 성인 여성의 자기자비의 하위요인 중 마음챙김과 척도 전체에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구에서 선불교 명상 프로그램은 확고한 불교 교학을 기반으로 이론 과 방법을 연결한 명상 프로그램을 통해 누구든 쉽게 접근이 가능한 예방프로 그램을 실시하고 그 효과를 확인하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

        BIM에서 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나가 디지털 데이터이다. 체계적인 디지털 데이터 관리를 위해 최근까지 연구를 통해 객체분류 체계(OBS)와 속성분류체계(Pset)가 제시되어 왔다. 특히 공정 및 기성 관리에 사용되는 디지털 데이터는 WBS와 CBS로 나뉘고 이를 BIM 객체와 매핑하려면 CBS의 수량 분개가 필요한데 CBS는 양이 매우 방대하고 공종이나 규격, 명칭 및 CBS 코드가 발주처마다 상 이하여 WBS나 BIM 모델에 맞는 수량 분개 작업을 엑셀 등을 이용해서 수작업으로 한다는 것은 사실상 어렵다. 이러한 문제점을 극복 하기 위해 BIM 모델에 의해 산출하기 힘든 수량 중에서 대부분을 차지하는 연장에 근거한 수량의 전체분을 분개하는 방안, 축적된 WBS-CBS 이력으로부터 최적 CBS를 도출하는 방안과 합리적인 CBS 데이터베이스 구축을 위해 필수적인 CBS 코드 통합 표준화 방 안을 제시하였다.

        이 연구는 동물매개활동과 ‘R.E.A.D.’ (Reading Education Assistance Dogs)를 활용 하여 초등학생의 정서적 안정감에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지 살펴 보는데 목적이 있다. 이 를 위하여 정서적 안정 척도를 사전, 사후검사를 통하여 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 치료 도우미견을 통한 책 읽기 프로그램은 아동의 정서적 안정감 느끼기에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 학교 현장이나 각 교육기관 등에서 아동의 정서 적 안정감을 위한 프로그램을 개발하고, 운영하는데 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있을 것이 다.

        본 연구는 반려견의 문제행동예방의 필요성을 살피고, 개선방안을 제언해보고자 하였 다. 최근 수년간 반려견 가구의 수는 크게 늘어났으며, 이에 따라 사람과 반려견이 공존하 는 사회에서 반려견의 문제행동은 사회 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에, 반려견을 양육 하는 데 있어 문제행동 예방을 위해 가장 중요한 사회화 훈련프로그램에 대해서 조사 하였다. 국내·해외 6개의 기관에서 운영중인 프로그램을 조사한 결과 반려견 사회화 훈련프로그 램들의 공통점은 첫째, 반려견의 사회화 훈련을 위해서 낯선 반려견과 사람과의 관계에 대한 적응을 해야한다. 둘째, 반려견기본교육 항목인 ‘앉아, 엎드려, 기다려, 이리와’ 에 대한 훈련이 필수로 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 외부 환경에 대한 자극에 민감하지 않도록 다양한 소음, 사람, 물건 등의 경험이 필요하다. 또한, 몇 가지 차이점을 정리하자면 첫째, 반려견에게 직접 자격을 부여하는 방식 또는 보호자에게 부여하는 방식으로 이루어지고 둘째, 국내 프로그램의 경우 훈련 경기대회 방식으로 진행하여 순위 별로 자격을 부여한 다. 셋째, 참여 반려견의 연령 기준이 다양하며 미국과 영국의 경우 1년 미만 강아지의 퍼피 프로그램을 별도로 운영하고 있다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 반려견 사회화 훈련프로그 램의 보완점을 제언하자면, 반려견 문제행동예방을 위해 다양한 사회화 훈련프로그램과 1년 미만의 강아지를 위한 사회화 중점 프로그램을 별도로 개발할 필요가 있으며, 훈련경 기대회 방식보다는 일반인이 부담 없이 참여할 수 있는 반려견 교육과정이 생활화 될 수 있도록 시스템 개발과 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

        이 연구는 동물매개중재 프로그램이 학업 중단 위기 청소년의 우울과 불안에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지 살펴 보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 우울과 불안 척도를 사전, 사후 검사를 통하여 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 동물매개중재 프로그램이 학업 중단 위기 청 소년의 우울과 불안을 감소시키는데 긍정적인 효과를 나타낸다. 이러한 결과는 학교나 기관에서 우울과 불안 등의 정서적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 학 업 중단 위기 청소년을 위한 프로그램을 개발하고, 운영하는데 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

        The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing education program using Web-based simulation for the care of patients with intracranial pressure. An additional aim was to verify the effectiveness of nursing knowledge, problem-solving competency, a critical thinking disposition, and the expectation of learning transfer. Methods: This was an experimental study using repeated measures with a nonequivalent control group. The participants were senior nursing students, randomly assigned to experimental (n=30) and control (n=30) groups. The experimental group participated in a nursing education program that included Web-based lectures, pre-briefing, Web-based simulation, and debriefing, whereas the control group’s program included only Web-based lectures. Results: A significant difference was found between the experimental and control groups in problem-solving competency (F=5.84, p=.005), critical thinking disposition (F=4.25, p=.021), and the expectation of learning transfer (t=2.30, p<.025). Also, a significant interaction between time and group was found in problem-solving competency and critical thinking disposition. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the education program using Web-based simulation positively affected nursing students’ problem-solving competency, critical thinking disposition, and the expectation of learning transfer. Therefore, this program can be considered a valuable aid in educating nursing students.

        Purpose: This case aims to present basic data needed to improve cognitive function and quality of care for aged with dementia. Methods: A total of ten sessions were organized and operated once a week for 12 aged with dementia using the center. Data collection was conducted from July 27 to September 30, 2022. Data analysis was conducted through observational evaluation of participation, satisfaction, and performance of each individual and in-depth interviews at the end of the program. Results: Among the 12 subjects who participated in the quality improvement program, an average of 8.4 subjects in each session showed high levels of participation and satisfaction. On the other hand, the performance level was low, with an average of 6.9 subjects per session. In the in-depth interview, two concepts were confirmed: ‘regrets about the past’ and ‘satisfaction with present life.’ Conclusions: We hope that the results of this case report will be useful in developing a multifaceted cognitive therapy program to improve the cognitive function of aged with dementia in the future.

        Purpose: This study aimed to explore the practical experience of nursing graduates through a clinical practicum alternative program during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Participants in this study comprised sixteen students who had gone through clinical field practice and clinical alternative programs during 4 semesters at nursing college. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews and analyzed via the phenomenological research method developed by Colaizzi. Results: From the meaningful statements offered by the participants, six theme clusters emerged: (a) interest in new experiences, (b) practice that doesn’t feel like practice, (c) limits on yourself, (d) ambivalence about alternative programs, (e) longing for vivid clinical settings, and (f) choice in an unavoidable situation. Conclusion: This study provides a profound understanding of the practical experiences of nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic situation about the clinical practicum alternative program. Based on this study, it is necessary to determine how students who have participated in the implementation of the clinical practice alternative program are adapting to the actual field as nurses. It is also necessary to develop various programs that reflect the needs of students and utilize technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and metaverse along with current teaching methods.

        본 연구는 디지털 시대 박물관 교육에 접목할 만한 디지털 매체를 활 용한 교육을 소개하고 이러한 매체들을 바탕으로 디지털 시대 박물관 교 육프로그램이 활성화 될 수 있는 방안을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구방법은 문헌연구로 국내·외 디지털 매체를 활용한 교육 사례를 수집하였다. 박물 관 교육에서 아직 활용되지 않은 사례들을 선정한 후 소개하고 이를 반 영하여 디지털 시대 박물관 교육프로그램의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 박물관 교육에서 활용 가능한 새로운 디지털 매체는 언택트 온라인 교육 의 ‘Class’와 디지털 테크놀로지 블랜디드 오프라인 교육의 ‘홀로그램 교 육’, ‘레고 코딩’, 가상세계 교육에서는 메타버스 플랫폼인 ‘ENGAGE’, ‘MOIM’, ‘MOZILLA HUB’를 살펴보았다. 향후 박물관 교육이 디지털 시 대 활성화가 되기 위해서는 디지털 리터러시 교육 강화, 생애주기별 디 지로그 교육 확대, 교육유형에 따른 메타버스 교육 적용을 제시하였다. 향후 박물관 교육 현장의 관계자, 참여자의 목소리를 담아 현장 연구와 융합적으로 살펴 더욱 진일보한 연구 결과를 도출할 필요가 있다.

        The need for the development of sustainable, efficient, and green radioactive waste disposal methods is emerging with the saturation of spent nuclear waste storage facilities in the Republic of Korea. Conventional radioactive waste management methods like using cement or glass have drawbacks such as high porosity, less chemical stability, high energy consumption, carbon dioxide production, and the generation of secondary wastes, etc. To address this gigantic issue of the planet, we have designed a study to explore the potential of alternative materials having easy processability, low carbon emissions and more chemical stability such as ceramic (hydroxyapatite, HAP) and alkali-activated materials (geopolymers, GP) to capture the simulated radioactive cobalt ions from the contaminated water and directly solidify them at low temperatures. Physical and mechanical properties of HAP alone and 15wt% GP incorporated HAP (HAP-GP- 15) composite were studied and compared. The surface of both materials was fully sorbed with an excess amount of Co(II) ions in the aqueous system. Co(II) sorbed powders were separated from aqueous media using a centrifuge machine operating at 5,000 RPM for 10 minutes and dried at 100°C for 8 hours. The dried powders were then placed in stainless steel molds, and shaped into cylindrical pellets using a uniaxial press at a pressure of 1 metric ton for 1 minute. The pellets were sintered at 1,100°C for 2 hours at a heating rate of 10°C/min. Following this, the water absorption, density, porosity, and compressive strength of the polished pellets were measured using standard methods. Results showed that HAP has a greater potential for decontamination and solidification of Co(II) due to its higher density (2.65 g/cm3 > 1.90 g/cm3), less open porosity (16.2±2.9% < 42.4 ±0.9%) and high compressive strength (82.1±10.2 MPa > 6.9±0.8 MPa) values at 1,100°C compared to that of HAP-GP-15. Nevertheless, further study with different constituent ratio of HAP and GP at various temperatures is required to fully optimize the HAP-GP matrix for waste solidifications.

        A comprehensive understanding of actinide coordination chemistry and its structure is essential in many aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, such as fuel reprocessing, waste management, reactor safety, and non-proliferation efforts. Managing radioactive waste generated during the nuclear fuel cycle has recently become more important, accordingly increasing the importance of designing appropriate waste forms and storage solutions for long-term waste disposal. Compared to the increase in the need for understanding the chemistry of major radioactive elements, the information on the local structure of the radioactive elements, especially actinides, remains unknown. To probe this issue, X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) can be applied. By analyzing the EXAFS (extended X-ray absorption fine structure) and XANES (X-ray absorption near edge structure), the local structure around atoms can be determined. However, the radioactive properties of the nuclides hindered the measurement of EXAFS and XANES, due to the difficulties of preparation, containment, and transfer of the sample. To measure the EXAFS of various compounds regarding the back-end nuclear fuel cycle, laboratory-based EXAFS (hiXAS, HP spectroscopy) has been introduced which can measure the EXAFS and XANES at the energy range of 5-18 keV. Compounds of Copper (Cu foil, CuO samples), Zirconium (Zr foil), and Europium (Eu2O3) were used for the verification of the laboratory -based EXAFS at a given energy range. The measured EXAFS spectrum of various compounds exhibit good agreement with the theoretical data, showing an R-factor of less than 0.02. It was found that each graph has a first peak corresponding to 2.55Å for Cu foil (Cu-Cu), 1.93Å for CuO samples (Cu-O), 3.23Å for Zr foil (Zr-Zr), and from 2.32Å to 2.34Å for Eu2O3 (Eu-O), which agree well with other values from the literature. From the result, it can be implied that this equipment can be used especially in the back-end nuclear fuel cycle field to enhance the understanding of local structure in radiochemistry.

        Molten chloride salts have received considerable research attention as potential nuclear fuel and coolant candidates for molten salt reactors. However, there are several challenges, especially for structural materials due to the selective dissolution of chromium (Cr) in the molten chloride salts environment. Understanding the compatibility of uranium (U), which is used as nuclear fuel in molten salt reactors, with Cr in molten chloride salts is critical for designing the molten salt reactor structure. Therefore, in this study, the cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to investigate the electrochemical behaviors of U and Cr. The diffusion coefficients and formal potentials were obtained. The electrochemical properties of uranium and chromium were investigated by CV in molten NaCl-MgCl2 salt at 600°C. Tungsten rods for working and counter electrode, and Ag/AgCl for reference electrode were utilized in this experiment. UCl3 made from the chemical dissolution of U rods and CrCl2 (Sigma-Aldrich, 99.99%) were used. Diffusion coefficients (D) of U and Cr were calculated by measuring reduction peak current of U3+/U and Cr2+/Cr from CV curves and using the Berzins-Delahay equation; D (U3+/U) = 3.0×10-5 cm2s-1 and D (Cr2+/Cr) = 3.3×10-5 cm2s-1. The formal potentials were also calculated by using the reduction peak potential obtained from CV results; E0’ (U3+/U) = -1.173 V and E0’ (Cr2+/Cr) = -0.321 V. The ionization tendency was investigated by comparing each reduction peak potential. The reduction peak potential Ep,c was increasing order of Ep,c (U3+/U) < Ep,c (Cr2+/Cr) < Ep,c (U4+/U3+). It can be seen that in the presence of U4+ and Cr metals, the Cr in the alloy can dissolve into Cr2+, but in the presence of U3+ and Cr metals, the Cr in the alloy does not dissolve into Cr2+. By analyzing the CV curve, diffusion coefficients and formal standard potentials were obtained. The result of comparing reduction peak potentials suggests that the nuclear fuel using U4+ should be inhibited to prevent the selective dissolution of Cr.

        The ultimate objective of deep geological repositories is to achieve complete segregation of hazardous radioactive waste from the biosphere. Thus, given the possibility of leaks in the distant future, it is crucial to evaluate the capability of clay minerals to fulfill their promising role as both engineered and natural barriers. Selenium-79, a long-lived fission product originating from uranium- 235, holds significant importance due to its high mobility resulting from the predominant anionic form of selenium. To investigate the retardation behaviors of Se(IV) in clay media by sorption, a series of batch sorption experiments were conducted. The batch samples consisted of Se(IV) ions dissolved in 0.1 M NaCl solutions, along with clay minerals including kaolinite, montmorillonite, and illite-smectite mixed layers. The pH of the samples was also varied, reflecting the shift in the predominant selenium species from selenious acid to selenite ion as the environment can shift from slightly acidic to alkaline conditions. This alteration in pH concurrently promotes the competition of hydroxide ions for Se(IV) sorption on the mineral surface as the pH increases and impedes the selective attachment of selenium. The acquired experimental data were fitted through Langmuir and Freundlich sorption isotherms. From the Freundlich fit data, the distribution coefficient values of Se(IV) for kaolinite, montmorillonite, and illite-smectite mixed layer were derived, which exhibited a clear decrease from 91, 110, 62 L/kg at a pH of 3.2 to 16, 6.3, 12 L/kg at a pH of 7.5, respectively. These values derived over the pH range provide quantitative guidance essential for the safety assessment of clay mineral barriers, contributing to a more informed site selection process for deep geological repositories.

        This program aims to build a specialized and converged educational platform for the training of students in the back-end nuclear fuel cycle and cultivate integrated human resources encompassing majors, generations, and fields. To achieve this, we have established an infrastructure for integrated education and training in the radiochemistry and back-end nuclear fuel cycle and operated specialized educational courses linked with special lectures, experimental practices, and field trips. Firstly, to construct an integrated educational and training infrastructure for the back-end nuclear fuel cycle, we formed a committee of experts from both inside and outside the institution and built an advanced radiochemistry laboratory equipped with physical and chemical analysis instruments. Through a comprehensive educational program involving theory, experiments, and discussions, we have established an integrated curriculum across adjacent majors and interdisciplinary studies. We also operate short-term education and experimental training programs (e.g., summer and winter schools for the back-end nuclear fuel cycle). Secondly, the program has connected leading researchers domestically and internationally, as well as the next generation of scholars. The program offers long-term educational opportunities and internships targeting both undergraduate and graduate students. To support this, we continuously offer expert colloquiums and individual research internships. Through regular committee meetings and workshops, we focus on nurturing the integrated talents necessary for the back-end nuclear fuel cycle. Through this program, students from various fields are being trained as competent integrated human resources capable of addressing various issues in the back-end nuclear fuel cycle. It is expected that this will enable us to supply specialized technical personnel in the back-end nuclear field in line with mid-to-long-term demands.

        To construct and operate nuclear power plants (NPPs), it is mandatory to submit a radiation environmental impact assessment report in accordance with Article 10 and Article 20 of the Nuclear Safety Act. Additionally, in compliance with Article 136 of the Enforcement Regulations of the same law, KHNP (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) annually assesses radiation environmental effects and publishes the results for operating NPPs. Furthermore, since the legalization of emission plans submission in 2015, KHNP has been submitting emission plans for individual NPPs, starting with the Shin-Hanul 1 and 2 units in 2018. These emission plans specify the emission quantities that meet the dose criteria specified by the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission. Before 2002, KHNP used programs developed in the United States, such as GASPAR and LADTAP, for nearby radiation environmental impact assessments. Since then, KHNP has been using K-DOSE60, developed internally. K-DOSE60 incorporates environmental transport analysis models in line with U.S. regulatory guidance Regulatory Guide 1.109 and dose assessment models reflecting ICRP-60 recommendations. K-DOSE60 is a stand-alone program installed on individual user PCs, making it difficult to manage comprehensively when program revisions are needed. Additionally, during the preparation of emission plans and the licensing phase, improvements to KDOSE60’ s dose assessment methodology were identified. Furthermore, in 2022, regulatory guidelines regarding resident dose assessments were revised, leading to additional improvement requirements. Currently, E-DOSE60, being developed by KHNP, is a network-based program allowing for integrated configuration management within the KHNP network. E-DOSE60 is expected to be developed while incorporating the identified improvements from K-DOSE60, in response to emission plan licensing and regulatory guideline revisions. Key improvements include revisions to dose assessment methodologies for H-13 and C-14 following IAEA TRS-472, expansion of dose assessment points, and changes in socio-environmental factors. Furthermore, data such as site meteorological information and releases of radioactive substances in liquid and gaseous forms can be linked through a network, reducing the potential for human errors caused by manual data entry. Ultimately, E-DOSE60 is expected to optimize resident exposure dose assessment and enhance public trust in NPP operation.

        The domestic Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PWHR) nuclear power plant, Wolsong Unit 1, was permanently shut down on December 24, 2019. However, research on decommissioning has mainly focused on Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs), with a notable absence of both domestic and international experience in the decommissioning of PHWRs. If proper business management such as radiation safety and waste is not performed, it can lead to increased business risks and costs in decommissioning. Therefore, the assessment of waste volume and cost, which provide fundamental data for the nuclear decommissioning process, is a crucial technical requirement before initiating the actual decommissioning of Wolsong Unit 1. Decommissioning radiation-contaminated structures and facilities presents significant challenges due to high radiation levels, making it difficult for workers to access these areas. Therefore, technology development should precede decommissioning process assessments and safety evaluations, facilitating the derivation of optimal decommissioning procedures and ensuring worker safety while enhancing the efficiency of decommissioning operations. In this study, we have developed a program to estimate decommissioning waste amounts for PHWRs, building upon prior research on PWR decommissioning projects while accounting for the specific design characteristics of PHWRs. To evaluate the amount of radioactive waste generated during decommissioning, we considered the characteristics of radioactive waste, disposal methods, packaging container specifications, and the criteria for the transfer of radioactive waste to disposal operators. Based on the derived algorithm, we conducted a detailed design and implemented the program. The proposed program is based on 3D modeling of the decommissioning components and the calculation of the Work Difficulty Factor (WDF), which is used to determine the time weighting factors for each task. Program users can select the cutting and packaging conditions for decommissioning components, estimate waste amount based on the chosen decommissioning method, and calculate costs using time weighting factors. It can be applied not only to PHWRs, but also to PWRs and non-nuclear fields, providing a flexible tool for optimizing decommissioning process.
