The era of logistics 4.0 in which new technologies are applied to existing traditional logistics management has approached. It is developing based on the convergence between various technologies, and R&D are being conducted worldwide to build smart logistics by synchronizing various services with the logistics industry. Therefore, this study proposes a methodology and technology strategy that can achieve trend analysis using patent analysis and promote the development of the domestic smart logistics industry based on this. Based on the preceding research, eight key technology fields related to smart logistics were selected, and technology trends were derived through LDA techniques. After that, for the development of the domestic logistics industry, the strategy of the domestic smart logistics industry was derived based on analysis including technology capabilities. It proposed a growth plan in the field of big data and IoT in terms of artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and marketability. This study confirmed smart logistics technologies by using LDA and quantitative indicators expressing the market and technology of patents in literature analysis-oriented research that mainly focused on trend analysis. It is expected that this method can also be applied to emerging logistics technologies in the future.
Recently Korea and China’s logistics industry developed rapidly. Because two countries’ industry have complementarity, there are broad basis and area for cooperation between China and Korea. This study compares and analyzes the logistics development trends and competitiveness of two countries, and suggests mutual win-win logistics cooperation between the two countries based on macro cooperation of government and micro cooperation of enterprises. This is important for the two countries to participate in the global supply chain system, promote regional cooperation in Northeast Asia, and enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the logistics industry.
경제성장이 고도화되면 일반적으로 산업구조는 제조업에서 서비스산업으로 변화한다. 한국의 각 산업별 노동시장을 살펴보면 이런 현상이 명확히 나타나고 있다. 특히 무역의존도가 높은 한국산업에서 물류산업의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 물류산업의 노동시장에서 대졸여부에 따른 임금격차가 존재하고 심화되고 있다는 것이 통계자료로 확인되었다. 이것은 동산업의 노동시장이 학력에 따라 분절되었다는 것을 의미한다. 인적자본론을 적용하여 고졸이하를 인적자본이 없는 저학력 노동으로, 대졸이상을 인적자본이 체화된 고학력노동으로 구분하여 독립 생산요소로 설정하였다. 이런 전제하에 3요소(자본, 저학력 노동자, 고학력 노동자) 콥-다글라스 생산함수를 상정하고, 외생변수로 산출량, 세계화와 중립적 기술진보를 포함한 학력별 노동수요 추정식을 유도하여 결정요인분석을 시행하였다. 추정결과 물류산업에서는 생산요소의 상대가격(, , )과 같은 노동시장의 내적요인이 저학력노동수요와 고학력노동수요에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 반면 산출량, 세계화와 기술진보와 같은 물류산업의 외생적 변화가 물류산업의 학력별 노동시장에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 산출량변화에 대해 저학력노동수요가 고학력노동수요보다 더 탄력적으로 영향을 미친다. 세계화 진전은 고학력노동수요의 증가로 나타났고 기술진보는 저학력노동수요의 감소와 고학력노동수요의 증가에 영향을 친 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 추정결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 정책적 대안을 마련할 수 있다. 첫째 경기변동에 따라 저학력노동수요 변화가 더 심하기 때문에 저학력 노동의 고용안정 정책이 필요하다. 둘째, 기술진보는 생산성을 향상시켜 총생산량을 높이지만 물류산업 노동시장에서는 저학력 노동수요의 감소로 실업이 발생할 수 있기 때문에 이것에 대비한 노동정책이 필요하다. 셋째, 세계화의 진전은 고학력노동수요의 증가를 유발하므로 물류산업에 필요한 인재양성정책이 필요하다.
Vietnam is located in the centre of Asia - Pacific, on international maritime routes. With a long coastline of about 3260 km stretching from North to South, Vietnam has many favourable conditions to bring import and export goods to the world. Not only its production, but Vietnam is also an ideal place to conduct transhipment activities such as transit, border-gate transfer, and temporary import for re-export. Vietnam is a country with favourable natural conditions and geographical location to develop logistics services. Along with the process of opening and integration, the volume of goods produced, domestically circulated and exported and imported in recent years has grown strongly, which is the premise and driving force for the development of logistics services. Logistics is becoming an essential service industry of international trade activities and attracts extraordinary attention to the economic community. The role of science and technology in development has been widely accepted. In today's increasingly competitive international environment, technology is a vital strategic element for rapid socio-economic development. Thanks to technological innovation, businesses have many opportunities to improve productivity, product quality, as well as to improve the ability in designing new production lines, new products and improving the efficiency in business management and operation. In order to survive and develop sustainably, all countries have preferential policies to encourage businesses to innovate technology. Moreover, businesses also recognize the need for technological innovation to keep pace with the world's development trend; this is the experience gained from countries with developed economies. This paper presents some issues on trends and applications of information technology, blockchain technology in the field of supply chain management and logistics to improve the competitiveness and develop logistics services of Vietnam. On that basis, the article also proposes several recommendations to support businesses in innovation and technology application in managing and operating this critical economic sector.
Need to make efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to slow global warming is globally recognized and also appealing to the United Nations. The main cause of greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide, and the nation has 23.9 percent of its total emissions in the transportation sector. It was also reported that 61.56 percent of living waste is being recycled, suggesting that environmentally friendly logistics activities should proceed with efforts on goods and services at each stage of distribution. In this study, we conducted a survey of green logistics activities that were environmentally friendly by businesses, divided into management, water/delivery and packaging waste, and identified the status and level of each business sector. As a result, data was collected from 36 manufacturing companies, 28 distribution businesses, and 40 logistics businesses, all of which were 104 companies, and based on the analysis results, a measure for environmentally friendly logistics activities was proposed.
In this paper, the relationship between energy consumption in the logistics industry and economic growth of Tumen River region from 1995 to 2014 is empirically analyzed by using the EKC model theory. The results show that there is a turning point in the Kuznets curve of carbon emission in TumenRiverregion. And it has the characteristic sof "invertedU" curve, which conforms to the environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis. Meanwhile it is stil lintherisingstage. According to the analysis results, it is proposed to set up the concept of low carbon logistics, optimize the energy structure, strengthen the information construction, and establish low-carbon development mechanism and so on.
Logistics had only been perceived as a supporting means or auxiliary of corporate activity, but is now surfacing as a priority sector for competitiveness in the infinite competition of the global market.
This study looks into the current status of logistics and sets forth the improvement tasks by analyzing the problems of the returned goods logistics.
In order to improve the manual process of returned goods, the POS system (point-of-sales system) was implemented and DAS (Digital Assorting System) and SORTER System were synchronized for utilization, which cut the prime cost of the once expensive returned goods logistics, and analyzed the efficiency of establishing automated logistics system for efficiency of returned goods logistics in the aspects of one-stop BPR (Business Process Re-engineering).
오늘날 물류 서비스 산업에서는 수요예측을 통해 불확실성을 줄여나가는 것이 경영상 매우 중요한 이슈로 제기되고 있다. 비교적 시장 점유율이 견고하게 유지되는 제조산업과는 달리 물류 서비스 산업은 매우 빠른 속도로 시장이 성장하고 변화하기 때문에, 시장 환경의 변화를 반영하여 정확한 수요 예측에 기반한 적절한 물류 서비스 공급을 위한 운송 및 인력 공급 계획을 수립하여 운용하여야 한다.
본 연구는 물류 서비스 업계를 위하여 추세 요소, 계절 요소 등 수요에 영향을 미치는 요소를 분석하고, 영향 효과를 산출하여 물류 서비스 산업을 위한 수요예측 시스템에 반영하는 방안을 연구하였다. 특히 지역 특산물, 기상효과, 음력으로 발생하는 명절 효과 등 수요를 크게 변화시키는 중요 영향 요소에 의한 수요 변동을 수요 예측에 활용하는 방안을 도출함으로써, 물류 서비스 산업계의 수요 예측을 위하여 분해법(Decomposition Method)을 제시하였다.
The logistics industry in Incheon is lack of basic usage for logistic information. As development of logistics industry the companies recognized the importance of logistics informatization. But due to a small scale of logistic companies it is difficult to equip the basic infrastructure for logistics informatization. To investigate the status of informatization of logistics companies in Incheon, we divide questionnaire by the aspects of information operations, aspects of information needs, information effects and policy aspects of planning and support information. By the result of survey we suggest the supporting plan for Incheon logistics industry.

Logistics companies tend to hire consultants, set up logistics department or R&D center in order to establish highly productive logistics process and system so it is viewed that there will be considerable demands of human resources in the logistics industry. This study indicates implications and development direction of human resources in the logistics industry by looking into prospect and characteristic of the industry, employment status, training programs and qualification requirements.

In this paper, a combination of Balanced scorecard and value evaluation based approach proposed multi-criteria provides a more accurate representation of the problem for measuring company.
Logistics has been recognized as a growing industry in Korea. Accidents in Korean logistics industry are listed up in this paper. As accidents in Korean Logistic industry increasing rapidly, lots of researches on the safety management in logistics industry are published. We surveyed those Korean research papers including supply chain management. Research papers are classified by logistics function and logistics area. Some logistics area still have not been researched on safety management.
This thesis investigates the feasibility and advantages of establishing a more efficient distribution system utilizing new technologies such as the internet and radio frequency identification (RFID). Introducing and promoting the diffusion of commodity traceability (the ability to trace the distribution route of products and materials) is necessary in order to make distribution and logistics more efficient, to clarify the safety of foods and daily necessities, to prevent theft and to monitor the dealing of stolen or imitation goods. This thesis focuses especially on a commodity (products) traceability system to enhance transparency for consumers. The expected effects of RFID can be summarized as follows. - Substantial improvement in logistics efficiency. - Higher consumer safety, quality management, and security for foods, drugs, and goods (clothes, books, electric appliances, automobiles, etc.) through improved traceability.
The logistics cost in Korea is very higher than that of the other countries. Thus, we propose to the way to reduce company's logistics cost in the paper industry. Each company in the paper industry is having its particular sized pallets and using them to manufactured products, store, deliver, retrieve empty pallet and so on. In this reason, the logistics cost is still increasing. As the common introduction of Pallet Pool System to "Paper Industry", the logistics cost could be reduced up to 24% and 1.8 billion won saved approximately, and it possibly attributes to the increase of company profit and the strength of the company competitiveness.itiveness.
Enormous flocks by the reduced life cycle of products caused by the technological innovation if later 20 century, development of new materials and diversified demands of customers appeared as the pressing element causing the trouble in management of companies, and when considering the logistic costs that are imposed to companies in terms of function, the costs related to the stock topped the list of costs, followed by the transportation ones, and for pallet pool system, inventory of stocks is very difficult by the number of companies. Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Therefore, in this study, we will establish the effective stock management system by comparing with the other existing stock management system after looking at the concept and examples of pallet full system in order to resolved this kind of problem.
The study examines the impact of organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support on perceived organizational support, and examine the impact of perceived organizational support on affective commitment to the organization in the logistic enterprises as well. Quantitative research is applied to measure relationships by regression analysis with SPSS. The research data was collected by convenient method from 180 employees who work in different departments in the logistics industry. The study results in the model 1 found that organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support have a positive relationship to the perceived organizational support. The study results in the model 2 also found that perceived organizational support has strong impact on the affective commitment to the organization. The study results contribute to both management theory and management practice. For the management theory aspect, the authors suggest that perceived organizational support should be considered the key antecedent of affective commitment about which researchers should pay more attention as a concept. Based on the research results, the authors also recommend for the management practice that managers should pay attention to the implementation of rewards, procedure justice, and supervisor support to increase the perceived organizational support and affective commitment in the logistic enterprises.
The presence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is omniscient, led by full force emergence of technologies that make biological, physical, and digital worlds borderless. All industries which jump on the bandwagon, can observe convergence and merging of bushiness happening within, between and across industries. As the shipping and port logistics industry is said to be in eye of this storm, the purpose of this study is to investigate the shipping and port logistics industry’s awareness regarding 4th IR, as well to identify necessary countermeasures in responding to progression of this trend. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology was then used to compare the importance of four phases of countermeasures, reviewed by experts in the field. Results showed that countermeasures should be first orchestrated to the ‘Merging and Integration of Inter-industry', then followed by ‘Preemptive Introduction of Advanced Technology', ‘Expansion of Intra-industry Businesses’, and eventually 'Automation, Unmanned Technology'. Last but not least, four phases of countermeasures which should be introduced and executed one phase after another, are outlined for the shipping and port logistics industry to boost its competitiveness in addressing this progressive trend.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to subdivide trade transaction-centered structure in a logistics/distribution industry system to apply blockchain, to establish and resolve with which types of technology, and to provide policy direction of government institution and technology to apply blockchain in this kind of industry.
Research design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted with previous researches centered on cases applied in various industry sectors on the basis of blockchain technology.
Results - General fields of blockchain application include digital contents distribution, IoT platform, e-Commerce, real-estate transaction, decentralized app. development(storage), certification service, smart contract, P2P network infrastructure, publication/storage of public documents, smart voting, money exchange, payment/settlement, banking security platform, actual asset storage, stock transaction and crowd funding. Blockchain is being applied in various fields home and abroad and its application cases can be explained in the banking industry, public sector, e-Commerce, medical industry, distribution and supply chain management, copyright protection. As examined in the blockchain application cases, it is expected to establish blockchain that can secure safety through distributed ledger in trade transaction because blockchain is established and applied in various sectors of industries home and abroad. Parties concerned of trade transaction can secure visibility even in interrupted specific section when they provide it as a base for distributed ledger application in trade and establish trade transaction model by applying blockchain. In case of interrupted specific section by using distributed ledger, blockchain model of trade transaction needs to be formed to make it possible for parties concerned involved in trade transaction to secure visibility and real-time tracking. Additionally, management should be possible from the time of contract until payment, freight transfer to buyers through land, air and maritime transportation.
Conclusions - In order to boost blockchain-based logistics/distribution industry, the government, institutionally, needs to back up adding legal plan of shipping, logistics and distribution, reviewing standardization of electronic switching system and coming up with blockchain-based industrial road maps. In addition, the government, technologically, has to support R&D for integration with other high technology, standardization of distribution industry's blockchain technology and manpower training to expand technology development.
중국 물류산업의 세계 경쟁력이 아직 낮은 수준에 머물고 있는 상황에서 물류산업 FDI에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고 물류산업 FDI 유치를 통해 외국투자기업의 선진기술과 성숙된 관리시스템을 중국 현지 물류기업에 도입하고 중국내 효율적인 물류망을 구축하여 중국 물류산업의 발전 및 경제성장에 큰 의미가 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 중국 물류산업 FDI의 현황에 대해 검토한 후 실증분석을 통해 중국 물류 산업 FDI에 영향을 미치는 핵심요인을 살펴보았다.
실증분석 결과 중국 각 성의 경제발전과 제조업 FDI 유입, 물류산업에 대한 고정자산투자 및 물류 산업 인프라의 구축은 물류 산업 FDI의 유입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 또한, 임금변수는 제조업과 달리 중국에 대한 물류산업의 FDI에는 영향을 미치고 있지 않은 특징을 나타냈다. 그러므로 중국의 경제발전을 촉진시키고 제조업에 대한 FDI를 적극 유인해야 하며 적극적으로 물류산업의 인프라를 구축하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 물류산업에 대한 고정자산투자를 늘려야 중국 물류산업 외국인직접 투자를 촉진시킬 수 있다.
