이 연구에서는 선택실험법을 통해 수집한 진술선호자료를 기반으로 세 가지 모형을 이용하여 축산물(쇠고기, 돼지고기 제품)의 이력추적성과 원산지 속성에 대한 소비자 선호도를 분석하였다. 우리의 연구 결과에 따르면 쇠고기의 경우 한우 제품에 대한 지불의사금액 대비 이력추적성 속성에 대한 지불의사금액의 비율이 92~97%로 매우 높았다. 돼지고기의 경우에는 한돈 제품에 대한 지불의사금액 대비 추적가능한 속성에 대한 지불의사금액의 비율은 약 76~82% 수준이었다. 이러한 결과는 국내 소비자들이 국내산 육류 제품에 대한 선호도에 따라 어느 정도 식품 안전 속성(추적성)에 높은 가치를 두고 있음을 의미한다. 다시 말해 축산물 이력제가 쇠고기와 돼지고기의 식품안전성에 대한 소비자의 신뢰를 구축하는 데 크게 기여하고 있음을 보여준다고 할 수 있다.
쇠고기 이력추적제는 소 개체마다 이력번호를 부여하여 수입쇠고기가 한우고기로 둔갑하는 사례를 막고, 소비자 에게 구입한 한우고기의 세부 이력 정보들을 제공하는 데 도움을 준다. 이번 연구는 2021년-2022년 서울지역 대형 축산물판매업소에서 유통되는 한우고기 344건에서 DNA 동일성 검사를 실시하여 이력번호 등 주요 표시정보들의 진위를 판별하였다. 그 결과 45건(13.1%)에서 이력번호가 불일치한 것으로 확인되었다. 불일치율은 2021년(14.7%) 에 비해 2022년(11.3%) 감소하였고, 도심서북권 20.7%, 동 북권 14.4%, 서남권 및 동남권 10.2% 순으로, 북부권 (16.9%)이 남부권(10.2%)에 비해 높게 나타났다. 또한 6개 브랜드 중 B사 및 D사는 이력관리가 양호한 반면, E사 및 A사는 이력관리가 취약한 것으로 확인되었고, 통계적 으로 유의한 결과 차이를 보였다(P<0.001). 이력번호 불일 치 시료의 실제 이력번호는 업소 내 입(출)고 거래내역 자 료를 근거로 조사하였고, 그 결과 실제 이력번호 확인율 은 53.9%에 불과하였으나, 확인된 범위 내에서 시료의 표 시정보 진위 판별 결과, 거짓 표시는 이력번호 13.1%, 성 별 2.9%, 도축장명 2.2%, 등급 1.6% 순으로 나타났고, 품종 (한우) 거짓 표시는 없었다. 거짓 표시 축산물의 유통 차 단을 위해 표시정보의 신속한 진위 판별이 중요하므로 업 소 내 이력번호가 기재된 날짜별 부분육 소분할 작업내역 작성을 의무화하는 법적 근거 마련이 필요하다. 본 연구 결과는 투명한 축산물 유통 거래 질서 정착을 위한 이력 관리 방향 설정에 참고자료로 활용하고자 한다.
The purpose of this study was to derive practical improvement measures for the food traceability system that could improve food reliability and secure food safety. To this, in our survey May-June, 2019, 567 adult males and females were analyzed for recognition and experience of the food traceability system, measures to improve the system, and intention to make additional payments to improve the system. In the case of a food safety accident, 2.54 of 5 points were given on if the food was recalled or not. Approximately 77.4 percent of the respondents had never seen indication of a food traceability system, and approximately 93.8 percent had no access to, or experience with, using the system. Most respondents said that the food traceability system should be applied to items that need to be applied. As the volume of data that is recorded and managed by the government is recognized as high, improvement is needed. Finally, it was analyzed that the company intends to pay an additional 1.34% on average to expand its food traceability system. A more sophisticated cost analysis is needed to apply the improvements proposed to complement the plans that are acceptable to consumers and the industry.
Food traceability (FT) is being developed while food traceability system (FTS) has become the hot topic for the food safety of the food supply chain (FSC), government regulations, and customer’s satisfaction. This survey explored the Korean consumer’s awareness, preferred information, and willingness to pay for the traceability of processed food. 35.2% of the respondents were not aware of FT whereas 77.5% did not know about FTS. The customer’s perception on the purpose of FT was as a consumer's right to know (51.8%), rather than as one enhancing food safety. The customers’ awareness of FT on processed and functional food was lower than that on agricultural, livestock, and fisheries products. The important stage of FSC that the consumers perceive was manufacturing and importing (51.5%), and the preferred information was related with raw materials. Only 7.2% of the respondents perceived FT as food safety-related certifications, which is much lower than HACCP (62.9%) and GMP (17.6%). The consumers had willingness to pay for FT at a premium of 5-10% higher than the regular price. Consumers are paying attention to food safety and quality but they are still unfamiliar with FT. Stakeholders in FSC should work together to increase consumer awareness of FT/FTS and improve consumers’ behavior.
Certification labeling is a system which confirms the quality and appropriateness of pr oducts according to the standard set. It is usually evaluated by the third party to assure being reliability. Certification labeling can be used as one of the important sources of i nformation when consumers evaluate the products. Especially, certification labeling gi ves customers trust and confidence about products because the label can be the signali ng that the quality of the products is good. Although certification labeling influences p urchase decision making, many consumers do not trust the labels because of insufficie nt information of certification and distrust in the certifications. As consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about environment and wellbeing, manufacturers are turning a convention product into the production of a sustain able product. Sustainable certification can be environmental cues to evaluate a sustain able product based on the categorization inference. The aim of this research is the inte raction effect among sustainable cues on purchase intention. Consumers tend to perceive organic label of products as high-price. Thus, although they concern environment and well-being, they tend to purchase conventional products more than an organic product. In addition, an organic label can have a positive influence on perceived risk, and then perceived risk may affect purchase intention. However, the product with organic label including traceability may have a negative impact on perceived risk. Therefore, perceived risk can mediate the relationship between the interaction between organic label of products and traceability and purchase intention.
Now days, customer’s health awareness is of extreme significance. Food can become contaminated at any point during production, preparation and distribution. Therefore, it is of key importance for the perishable food supply chain to monitor the food quality and safety. Traceability system offers complete food information and therefore, it guarantees food quality and safety. The current study postulates a low cost IoT-based traceability system that utilized RFID and smartphone-based sensors. The RFID handheld reader based on smartphone is utilized to track and trace the product. In addition the smartphone-based sensor is used to measure temperature, humidity, and location during storage and transportation. The proposed system was verified for kimchi supply chain in Korea, and revealed significant benefits to managers as well as customers by providing the real-time product information, location as well as complete temperature and humidity history. The results displayed that compared to the traditional methods, the proposed system is capable of tracking products as well as processing an immense input of data efficiently and effectively.

Concern about food safety among consumers is very high at the moment, because many problems related to food safety have occurred, such as Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE). To improve consumers’ reliability about food safety issue, government in every country have tried to set various food policy, and the Korean government has also tried to set consumers at ease about their diet, for instance, food traceability system. The aim of this study is to define consumer perceptions and intention to participation for solar salt traceability system. As the results, consumers generally have positive perception about solar salt traceability system, and the study identifies that attitude, reliability and availability significantly influence intention to participation for solar salt traceability system.
The environment and requirements of modern war fields have been affected and thus changed by a variety of issues. To this end, the development of safety-critical weapon systems frequently need to meet those changes even in the operational phase. The necessity of the changes may be due to the preparation for mass-production or the request originated from the user military forces. To meet such a need can be even tougher in the development of safety-critical weapon systems since the integration of the requirements for both systems design and systems safety would make it troublesome. To handel the matter in this paper, utilization of architecture DB is proposed. Specifically, the situation in demand has first been analyzed and then a problem-solving process to accommodate the design changes has been constructed. In doing so, the concept of the aforementioned integration is particularly focused on the functional architecture, which could be a core concept of our approach to solving the problem. The result of a case study demonstrating the method studied using a computer-aided systems engineering tool is also presented.
In modern systems design and development, one of the key issues is considered to be related with how to reflect faithfully the stakeholder requirements including customer requirements therein, thereby successfully implementing the system functions derived from the requirements. On the other hand, the issue of safety management is also becoming greatly important these days, particularly in the operational phase of the systems under development. An approach to safety management can be based on the use of the failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA), which has been a core method adopted in automotive industry to reduce the potential failure. The fact that a successful development of cars needs to consider both the complexity and failure throughout the whole life cycle calls for the necessity of applying the systems engineering (SE) process. To meet such a need, in this paper a method of FMEA is developed based on the SE concept. To do so, a process model is derived first in order to identify the required activities that must be satisfied in automotive design while reducing the possibility of failure. Specifically, the stakeholder requirements were analyzed first to derive a set of functions, which subsequentially leads to the task of identifying necessary HW/SW components. Then the derived functions were allocated to appropriate HW/SW components. During this design process, the traceability between the functions and HW/SW components were generated. The traceability can play a key role when FMEA is performed to predict the potential failure that can be described with the routes from the components through the linked functions. As a case study, the developed process model has been applied in a project carried out in practice. The results turned out to demonstrate the usefulness of the approach.
3종의 초위성체 마커를 이용해 분석한 대립유전자형을 F0, F1 그리고 F2로 세대 간 구분 하여 동일한 개체 출현확률 값을 추정한 결과 F2의 무작위교배집단으로 가정한 경우 13종의 초위성체 마커는 3.84 × 10-23의 추정치를 나타내 37개의 SNP 마커를 이용할 경우와 유사한 동일개체 출현확률 추정치를 유추할 수 있었다. 본 연구에 사용한 실험축군은 2품종 상호교배로 만들어졌다. 친자감정확률 추정치를 전체집단을 대상으로 13종의 초위성체 마커와 37개의 SNP 마커를 이용하여 분석한 결과 부모를 동시에 찾을 수 있는 추정치인 PEpu의 경우 초위성체 마커는 0.97897이고 SNP 마커는 0.99149였으며, 한쪽 부모를 찾을 수 있는 추정치인 PE의 경우 초위성체 마커는 0.99916이고 SNP 마커는 0.99949로 나타났다. 또한 가능한 후보 부모들로부터 가장 확률이 높은 부모를 찾을 추정치인 PNEpp의 경우는 초위성체 마커와 SNP 마커 둘 다 1.00000으로 추정 되었다. 한정된 부모집단 내 한정된 대립유전자형을 통해 대량의 비육돈이 생산되는 국내의 양돈산업의 경우 DNA 마커의 특성, 분석집단의 크기, 유전자형 분석의 정확도와 비용, 분석된 자료 관리의 용이성 및 기존 분석 시스템과의 호환성 등을 고려하여 효율성과 경제성이 높은 마커를 선정해 마커 조합을 만드는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
Facing a number of global food-related accidents, the concept and system for food traceability have been designed and introduced in many countries to manage the food-safety risks. To connect and harmonize the various food traceability-information in food traceability system according to the food supply chain, the coding system of identification-number for food-traceability has to be standardized. The GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) barcode system which has been globally standardized and implemented, is reviewed with the mandatory food-labeling regulation in expiration date of processed foods. The integration of GTIN-13 bar-code system for food-traceability is a crucial factor to expand its function in the food-related industrial areas. In this literature, the standard coding system of identification-number for food-traceability is proposed with 20 digit coding number which is combined with GTIN- 13 bar-code (13 digit), expiration date (6 digit), and additional classification code (1 digit). This proposed standard coding system for identification-number has a several advantages in application for prohibiting the sale of hazard goods, food-recall, and inquiring food traceability-information. And also, this proposed coding system could enhance the food traceability system by communicating and harmonizing the information with the national network such as UNI-PASS and electronic Tax-invoice system. For the global application, the identification-number for food-traceability needs to be cooperated with the upcoming global standards such as GTIN-128 bar-code and GS1 DataBar.
