This study utilized the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) to examine usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. Six independent variables were examined: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and habit. The study collected responses from 445 participants who had utilized virtual fitting services. Regarding factors related to usage intentions associated with these services, performance expectancy and social influence were found to significantly influence the usage intentions associated with photo-based virtual fitting services. Furthermore, performance expectancy, social influence, and habit significantly influenced the usage intention of avatar-based virtual fitting services. This suggests that higher levels of performance expectancy and social influence positively impact the usage intentions associated with both types of virtual fitting services, while habit influences only avatar-based virtual fitting services. Moreover, the findings confirm that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation from UTAUT2 do not significantly influence usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. By analyzing factors influencing potential customers’ virtual fitting service usage intentions, this study can suggest effective strategies to increase usage intentions for companies providing virtual fitting services. Additionally, these findings can be utilized in the formulation of virtual fitting service marketing strategies.
This study investigated the key factors that explain the continuous usage intention of mobile payment users in the post COVID-19 pandemic era. Based on the health belief model (HBM) and communication privacy management (CPM) theory, this study examined how the five constructs of HBM influence mobile payments continuous usage intention through perceived privacy risk and perceived security. It also investigated the moderating role of perceived privacy awareness on the relationship between perceived privacy risk and continuous usage intention as well as the moderating role of information sensitivity on the relationship between perceived security and continuous usage intention.
본 연구는 중국 C2C 중고거래 플랫폼의 사용자 연구대상으 로 정보기술 수용과 사용 태도에 대해 설명력이 높다고 인정받 고 있는 기술수용모델(TAM)을 토대로 핵심 변수 외 다양화된 정보시스템 환경을 반영하는 변수로 주목받고 있는 지각된 유 희성을 추가 변수로 지정하였다. 본 연구는 가설을 검증하기 위해 중국 C2C 중고거래 플랫폼에 대한 경험 있는 사용자들을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 총 400부의 설문지를 배포하였으 며 회수된 설문지를 선별하여 총 362부 유효 설문지가 선출되 었다. 또한, C2C 중고거래 플랫폼 특성 변인인 정보 대칭성을 규명하고, 이를 바탕으로 정보의 이용 가치를 높이고 활성하기 위한 전략 방향에 시사점을 제시하는 데 그 목적을 둔다. 그리 고 마케팅 연구의 학문적 발전에 기여하고 기업에는 중고 플랫 폼을 활용한 마케팅 전략 수립 시 실무적인 도움을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
본 연구는 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑의 특성과 주관적 규범이 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑 사용 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 조사하였다. 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑의 특성인 ‘인식된 즐거움’, ‘신뢰성’, ‘상호작용성’, ‘즉시성’과 ‘주관적 규범’이 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑의 사용 의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 몰입이론과 합리적 행동 이론을 기반으로 연구를 진행하였다. 중국인 335명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. ‘상호작용성’을 제외한 나머지 특성인 ‘인식된 즐거움’, ‘신뢰성’ 및 ‘즉시성’이 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑 사용에 대한 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑 사용에 대한 태도는 타오바오 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑 사용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 ‘주관적 규범’이 사용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 타오바오 라 이브 스트리밍 쇼핑의 특성과 ‘주관적 규범’이 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑 이용 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 이해하는데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 다양한 라이브 스트리밍 쇼핑에 관한 마케팅 전략을 개발 하는데 도움이 될 수 있다.
This study examined the effect of Instagram usage time (short, long) and spending on fashion products (light, heavy) on product attitude and purchase intention of products promoted by an influencer. The moderating effect of influencer type (mega, macro, micro) was also investigated. A total of 515 males and females in their 20s participated in an online survey. Descriptive statistics were analyzed and exploratory factor analysis and two-way ANOVA were conducted. Research findings were as follows. First, the usage time, both short and long, had a positive effect on product attitude. Also, the interactive effects of usage time and influencer type on product attitude were found. Consumers with short Instagram usage time displayed the highest attitude toward products promoted by a macro-influencer whereas consumers with long Instagram usage time displayed the highest attitude toward products promoted by a micro-influencer. Second, usage time and influencer type did not show interactive effects on purchase intention. Third, both categoriacl variables of users’ spending on fashion products had a positive effect on product attitude. Fourth, the interaction effects of spending on fashion products and influencer types on purchase intention were found. The group of light buyers showed the highest purchase intention on products promoted by the macro-influencer while the group of heavy buyers showed the highest purchase intention of products promoted by the micro-influencer. Based on the results, implications were suggested.
This study examined motivation to use omni-channel services on mobile devices in fashion stores and the effects of such usage motivation on brand purchase intention through continuous and affective commitment. Data were collected on consumers in their 20s and 30s who experienced omni-channel services during shopping for or purchasing fashion products. An online survey asked 413 consumers to rate their brand purchase intention. Sub-levels of each variable were examined using SPSS 25.0, followed by confirmatory factor analysis using AMOS 19.0. In addition, path analysis using structural equation modeling was applied to analyze associations between variables. The statistical results were mixed. First, only two dimensions of usage motivation for omni-channel services, hedonic and relational motivation, had positive effects on continuous and affective commitment. Second, continuous commitment had a greater effect on purchase intention of brands that provided omni-channel services than it did on affective commitment. Third, of the dimensions of usage motivation, utilitarian motivation had a direct influence on purchase intention in the modified model, while social motivation did not affect service commitment and purchase intention. Finally, our findings suggest that brand loyalty can be built by encouraging service commitments through hedonic and relational motivation, based on the usability of omnichannel services.
본 연구는 혁신 기술이 적용된 새로운 지급결제 방식인 모바일 간편결제 서비스가 제공하는 혜택이 서비스에 대한 소비자의 반응(구전 및 사용의도)에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하였다. 본 연구는 모바일 간편결제 서비스의 지각된 혜택을 단일 변수가 아닌 다차원적인 변수로 검증하여 실효성 있는 혜택을 확인하였다는데 학문적/실무적 의의를 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 간편결제 서비스가 제공하는 혜택을 지각된 실용적 혜택(편리성, 경제성, 정보성)과 지각된 유희적 혜택(즐거움, 경험성, 인식성)으로 나눠 측정하였다. 더불어, 사회적 영향요인이 혜택과 사용의도 및 구전과의 관계에 미치는 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 실증적 분석을 위해 모바일 간편 결제 서비스를 경험해 본 적 있는 미국 내 성인 소비자 312명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 연구모형에 대한 가설을 검증하였다. 가설 검증 결과, 모바일 간편 결제 서비스의 편리성, 경제성, 즐거움은 소비자의 긍정적인 구전을 형성하는데 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 사용의도에는 유희적 혜택 중 인식성만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 모바일 간편 결제 서비스의 선발 국가이자 가장 큰 시장을 형성하고 있는 미국시장에 대한 분석으로 모바일 간편결제 서비스 시작하는 후발 국가에서 효과적인 전략을 수립하는데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
The main purpose of this research is to explore the effects of usage frequency on the intention to reuse membership service while having perceived value play a role as a mediator. Usage frequency of membership services can affect consumers' fairness judgment. The more opportunities consumers have to perceive the fairness of a service, the more likely it is that they will choose to receive the identical service from the same provider in the future, since they form a positive attitude toward the service. In addition, the perceived value of the consumer can lead to the reuse of the service because it gives satisfaction to the consumer. Another objective of this research is to examine the moderating effect of regret and guilt on the relationship between perceived value and the intention to reuse membership service. Consistent with regret literature, if consumers perceive a consumption value that is smaller than the initially expected consumption value when using a membership service, they will regret the use of the service. Further, negative emotion such as regret often lead to negative attitudes and behaviors of consumers. Thus, as consumers feel regret, their willingness to use the membership service will continue to decrease. On the other hand, consumers experience guilt when they benefit from an unfair process (Krehbiel and Cropanzano, 2000). Similarly, when consumers judge that they have exceeded the usage frequency of membership service based on social norms or ethical principles of individuals, they will perceive unfairness. Consumers may try to offset their negative emotion by continuing to use identical membership services even after the end of the contract period as compensation for their guilty feelings. Thus, as consumers feel guilt, their willingness to use the membership service will continue to increase. This study proposes practical implications that a firm operating a membership service program can encourage a positive response of consumers in their service process by theoretically identifying the intrinsic process related to consumers' intention to reuse the service.
본연구는 ‘메르스’에 대한 재난 뉴스 이용매체와 뉴스 이용정도 및 뉴스의 신뢰여부가 미디어 이용자의 인지된 심각성, 취약성, 자기 효능감 및 대처비용에 영향을 미치며 이것을 매개로 하여 최종적으로 개인과 공중의 건강 보호 행위의도에 미치는 영향을 검토한다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합적으로 보면, SNS와 인터넷뉴스가 TV보다 메르스의 심각성을 지각하게 했지만 메르스에 대한 대처역량을 키우거나 하지는 않았다. 개인과 공중의 보호행위의지에도 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 그러나 메르스에 대한 뉴스 이용정도는 메르스에 대한 취약성과 심각성 지각 뿐 만 아니라 자기효능감과 대처비용의 대처평가에도 영향을 미침으로써 메르스 뉴스 이용정도가 메르스 사태의 본질을 인지하게 하였다. 그리고 개인과 공중의 보호행위의지에 영향을 주었다. 특히 지각된 심각성과 자기효능감을 매개로 하여 개인건강보호행위를 강화하였고 지각된 심각성, 자기효능감, 대처비용에 의해 공중건강보호행위를 강화하였다. 뉴스신뢰도는 자기효능감에만 영향을 미쳐 실제로 메르스 사태를 평가하는데 영향을 미치진 못하였다. 그리고 지각된 심각성과 자기효능감을 매개요인으로 하여 개인보호행위의도를 증진시키는 데 영향을 미쳤지만 공중의 보호행위의지에는 영향을 미치지 못하였다.
This paper is conducted to support Korean game development companies to enter the MSNG market in China. According to preceding researches, the life-cycle of MSNG is under 3 months. Short-term of the MSNG's life-cycle raises the problems of low profits or deficit of companies managed to enter the Chinese market. Therefore, it needs to lead MSNG users to continuos use to extend the life-cycle. The plan to extend the life-cycle is likely to be a critical factor to be survived in Chinese market. The commitment is considered as the factor to make usage of MSNG longer by researchers. This paper also infers that the plan to keep MSNG user's commitment continuos develops their perceived functional value, emotional value and social value, with the reasonal, emotional and psychological point of view. We make a effort to reveal the relationships among factors through 318 data from Chinese MSNG users. Futhermore we would like to suggest that the companies consider continuos usage intention of MSNG users as the critical factor which makes a profit based on the result of this survey and propose the direction of future researches from the limit of this paper.
Users of smrtphone based mobile social network games are rapidly increasing. However, there are few researches for smartphone based mobile social network games. In this paper, we conducted a qualitative study in order to understand the continual usage intention of mobile social network game from indepth interview. As a result, passing time, hedonic valuem social value, challenge/competition, perceived enjoyment, and social interaction were found to have positive effects on continuous usage intention of smartphone based mobile social network game. And network quality, difficulties of game, and social interaction were found to have negative effects on continuous usage intention of smartphone based mobile social network game. This study provides practical suggestions for developers of social network game to invigorate the smart-phone based social network game market, such as improved additional investment for simple game interface, easy game rule, additional interactive services.
본 연구는 기존 기술수용모형에서 제시한 인지된 유용성과 인지된 용이성뿐만 아니라 개인의 특성과 성향이 새로운 기술수용에 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용할 것으로 예측하였다. 이에 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성과 함께 개인의 성격적 차원에서 외향적 성격, 내향적 성격, 개혁성향을 개인의 특성적 차원에서 자기효능감, 자아존중감을 IPTV나 디지털 전환 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 설정하여 설문조사 후 분석하였다. 분석결과 인지된 유용성, 내향적 성격, 자아존중감이 IPTV 수용 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, IPTV 수용태도는 IPTV 수용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 디지털 전환 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 인지된 유용성, 인지된 용이성, 외향적 성격, 내향적 성격 그리고 개혁성향으로 나타났다. 디지털 전환 수용태도 역시 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
Recently the information system introduction and the application which use the computer are increasing. The efficient operation of information system helps corporations to improve productivity, customer service and corporate competitive power. SaaS(Software as a Service), which is the developed type of outsourcing in the area of information technology, is to use standardized and packaged application by hosting from the outside of enterprise. SaaS is not developed yet as much as people's interest about that in the initial stage, but its related technology and service capacity are accumulated after repeated trial and error, and it's ready to activate the industry. In the area of information system, studies on the measurement of service quality were followed. But there is little study on service quality measurement in the field of SaaS(Software as a Service). The purpose of this study was to divides the SaaS with e-SERVQUAL and it consider the relationship with the perceived recognition and the usage intention. According to this, variables of traditional research were rejected because SaaS is not developed yet in Korea. But information had a strong effect on perceived recognition. Therefore, business related with in SaaS must have provided a correct information about various applications.
The main aim of study is to identify the factors that affect the purchasing intention of young adults. The reference group is an important factor in determining the underlying causes of young adults’ purchasing intentions. However, the literature states that young adults prefer to buy brands they trust in order to eliminate the risks that may arise when buying products they may not know. Moving from this perspective, the study proposes a conceptual model that including structural relationships between brand trust, reference group, and purchasing intention. The study aims to contribute to the literature by discussing the moderator role of brand trust in this structure. A series of hypotheses are tested via a survey completed by 749 young people between the ages of 20 and 30 living in Istanbul, Turkey. The data were analyzed with IBM SPSS-23 and AMOS-18 program. In addition to descriptive, reliability, and factor (exploratory and confirmatory) analysis, hierarchical regression analysis was performed to test the research hypotheses. The results show that the reference group positively influences the purchasing intention, and brand trust plays a moderating role in this relationship. The findings are discussed and some practical suggestions are made for mobile phone manufacturers.
본 연구는 최근 급부상하는 OTT(Over The Top, 온라인 동영상 서비스) 환경을 기반으로 많이 사랑받고 있는 뮤직비디오의 이용동기가 무엇인지 살펴보고 이용동기와 만족도 간, 이용동기와 지속적 이용의도 간에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 실시하게 되었다. 연구결과 뮤직비디오 이용동기는 ‘가수 선호’, ‘즐거움 추구’, ‘시간보내기’, ‘몰입성’, ‘영상 선호’ 라는 5개의 요인이었다. 뮤직비디오 이용동기가 수용자에게 미치는 효과를 확인한 결과는 뮤직비디오 이용동기 중 시간보내기를 제외한 4개 요인이 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 지속적 이용의도도 시간보내기를 제외한 4개 요인이 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 향후 뮤직비디오 연구에 조금이나마 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
Purpose - With the economic development in China, the lifestyle of Chinese customers has changed dramatically. Chinese customers are more likely to have coffee in a shop with the ability to make them happy than those with high quality coffee in a nice physical environment. Happiness becomes a critical driver of customers’ intention to purchase a cup of coffee in a specific coffee shop again and again. As a result, happiness becomes an important factor for managers to make strategies for attracting customers. Although managers and scholars pay more attention to emphasize the importance of happiness in customers’ consumption, little research has been conducted to investigate the relationship between happiness and coffee shop’s continuous usage intention in the Chinese coffee industry.
Research design, data, and methodology – A research model is made to explain the impact of happiness on customer’s behavior. To understand the influence of happiness better, we consider two dimensions of happiness which are subjective well-being and psychological well-being. In order to confirm the relationships of the variables in the research model, the online survey is constructed in China. Customers who have experienced the services in a coffee shop are asked to do the questionnaire. With 453 reliable questionnaires, structural equation modeling is used to analyze the causal relationships of the coffee quality, physical environment, subjective well-being, psychological well-being, and continuous usage intention.
Results - Results indicate that coffee quality and physical environment are not the direct factors that influence customers’ continuous usage intention. However, good coffee quality and physical environment are the significant predictors of Chinese customers’ happiness associated with subjective well-being and psychological well-being, which in turn affects customers’ continuous usage intention.
Conclusions - In this study, it is proposed that coffee quality and physical environment may be the key factors influencing customers’ happiness. Happiness, including subjective well-being and psychological well-being matters in decision making process. More importantly, happiness increases the continuous usage intention when the coffee shop can serve customers with higher quality coffee at a good atmospheric place. Managers should consider happiness as an important factor in making marketing strategies to compete in this industry.
Purpose - This study aimed to identify the sub-dimensions of fashion social media quality (information quality, social quality, service quality, system quality) and investigate how they affect purchase intention through fashion information use behavior (information acceptance, information diffusion).
Research design, data, and methodology – Data collection was carried out twice for systematic verification of the research model. In the first data collection, the reliability and validity of research variables were verified through 238 respondents and questionnaires were revised and supplemented based on their responses. In March 2018, the final survey was conducted from 755 respondents the age of 20 to 49. Using SPSS 23.0, descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis were performed. In order to test hypotheses, structural equational modeling technique was employed using AMOS 23.0.
Results - First of all, fashion Social media quality consists of four factors including information quality, social quality , service quality and system quality. Second, fashion Social media information quality, social quality , and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information acceptance behavior, and social quality , service quality and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information diffusion behavior. It was also determined that the acceptance and diffusion behaviors of fashion information through fashion Social media had positive(+) influence on purchase intention.
Conclusions - This study holds academic significance in its identification of the components of fashion Social media quality and for conducting an empirical analysis on the causal relationship between fashion information acceptance and diffusion behaviors, and purchase intention. The results of this study indicate that fashion involvement is the key factors in determining the quality of Social media, the acceptance of information through Social media, and, by extension, the purchase of fashion products. Practitioners in the fashion industry may use the findings of this study in order to build more effective Social media strategy.
