The purpose of this study was to suggest the foundation of LDA-based model for infrastructure maintenance cost evaluation. The LDA-based model enables to evaluate not only overall maintenance cost, but also various combination of each cell of risk matrix.

There are many cases where large areas of the underground parking lots of residential buildings do not have proper measures against prevention of leakage, resulting in condensation, growth of infectious microogranisms and increase of pollution in the air. This paper discusses a study conducted to understand the awareness of leakage problems and the damage that follows in the underground structures of residential buildings.

In this study, multiple regression analysis was conducted using traffic volume, temperature and strain, which are maintenance data of suspension bridge(Diamond Bridge in Busan). As a result of analysis, the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, strain, was found to be .304 for light and compact car traffic, .476 for large and special car traffic and .167 for the average temperature of reinforced truss

This paper describes the electrical characteristics of carbon fiber reinforced cement composite under compressive loading. The test results indicated that the electrical resistance changes of cement composite in compression were improved with increasing carbon fiber volume fractions.

In this study, the effect of electromagnetic wave from an electronic device on electric sensor system and optic sensor were analyzed to verify the reduction effect of a optic sensor and applicability to marin structure. Test revealed that optic sensor system was not occurred the noise by electromagnetic waves also had the low range of fluctuation.

In the case of marine concrete composite structures, damaged by the various environment effect(sea damage, freeze-thaw, carbonation), and then, there is a possibility of going bad in the safety. The purpose of this study is to perform periodic measurements and tests on the durability test site constructed at sea and to provide basic guidelines for future maintenance based on the analyzed data.

PSC girder bridges, widely applied to bridge and railroad bridge (25 ~ 50 m), are a type of bridge that introduces compressive force in advance to the part where tensile force of concrete is generated. The tension force for introducing the compressive force by inserting the tendon into the concrete is a key element of the structural performance in the PSC. At present, however, measurement and verification of this is indirectly managed through deflection and cracking. However, it has become more necessary to develop practical evaluation methods of prestress force of PSC bridges. In this experiment, a small scale PSC beam with various curvature radii was made. Tension force monitoring with FBG sensor and EM sensor was performed on test members using 3 point flexural loading test. The measured values of the FBG sensors and the EM sensors used in the experiment were analyzed and compared with the measured values of the load cell.

Collapse of reinforced earth retaining wall due to improper design and construction is still occurring during construction and operation. While most studies of reinforced retaining walls are focused on the mechanistic behavior, there is little study on the improvement of assessment item, which is used to examine the safety of retaining wall, based on the existed inspection data. This study proposed new weighting factor of assessment item by utilizing multiple regression analysis technique, AHP method, and entropy method for the existed inspection data of reinforced earth retaining wall. Compared to the existed weighting factor, the value and the rank of proposed weighting factors are changed. By applying the proposed weighting factors to the existing retaining walls of 161 sites, fragility region of 47 sites is changed.

This study is a part of the research on the development of safety monitoring system and monitoring program of 3MW offshore wind support structure using fiber optic sensor. In this paper, we propose a maintenance system for offshore wind support structure using fiber optic sensor based on the analysis of current monitoring status and related standards of domestic and overseas offshore wind support jacket structures.

In this study, propose a building Online system based on information sharing that minimizes the unnecessary expenses used to for the management of slope face-map newly created through new road, extension and linear improvement. Also, as a result of the economic feasibility analysis by quantitatively estimating the initial invest costs and the benefits resulting from the cost reduction, the B/C ratio is evaluated to be 1.0 or more after 2 years, be used to effective management plan.

Visual inspection has generally been applied to examine the coating deterioration. However, it was difficult to evaluate an anti-corrosion performance of paint film. In this study, thus, to quantitatively evaluate an anti-corrosion performance of paint film under various corrosion enviornent, change in the impedance paint coating was evauated using EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy).

We have studied the optimum location of the sensor to evaluate the condition of the structure by performing the structural analysis on the landing pier. It is judged that it is appropriate to place the strain sensor of the landing pier at the upper part, the middle part and the upper part of the pile at 30% below the pile.
