        Forest destruction is an inevitable result of the development processes. According to the environmental impact assessment, over 10% of the destroyed trees need to be recycled and transplanted to minimize the impact of forest destruction. However, the rate of successful transplantation is low, leading to a high rate of tree death. This is attributable to a lack of consideration for environmental factors when choosing a temporary site for transplantation and inadequate management. To monitor transplanted trees, a field survey is essential; however, the spatio-temporal aspect is limited. This study evaluated the applicability of remote sensing for the effective monitoring of transplanted trees. Vegetation indices based on satellite remote sensing were derived to detect time-series changes in the status of the transplanted trees at three temporary transplantation sites. The mortality rate and vitality of transplanted trees before and after the transplant have a similar tendency to the changes in the vegetation indicators. The findings of this study showed that vegetation indices increased after transplantation of trees and decreased as the death rate increased and vitality decreased over time. This study presents a method for assessing newly transplanted trees using satellite images. The approach of utilizing satellite photos and the vegetation index is expected to detect changes in trees that have been transplanted across the country and help to manage tree transplantation for the environmental impact assessment.

        The long-tailed goral (Naemorhedus caudatus) is classified as 'vulnerable' by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and has been designated an endangered species requiring conservation and management in Korea. The sex determination region of the Y (SRY) gene is a useful marker for the study of paternal lineages; however, the SRY gene of the goral has not yet been sequenced. In this study, the nucleotide sequence of the SRY gene of long-tailed gorals was determined based on the sequence of the SRY gene of goats (Capra hircus). The obtained sequences were aligned with those of other species in the Bovidae family. The long-tailed goral SRY gene comprised 720 base pairs, and its nucleotide and protein sequences were identical to those of goats, sheep (Ovis aries), and cattle (Bos taurus) by 96%, 97%, and 93%, respectively. The results of phylogenetic insights obtained from this study constitute important references for genetic diversity and pedigrees studies of male long-tailed gorals and closely related species.

        This study is to develop a radish skin peeling machine. Currently, radish peeling work is carried out manually, so the unit price is high due to the increase in labor cost, and problems related to hygiene continue to occur. To solve this problem, a field supply type radish skin peeling machine was designed and manufactured. The peeling machine is a principle in which the skin is removed by conveying the radish using a roller and passing through a blade assembly. In this paper, the design and analysis of the roller and blade part applied during the movement of the radish were carried out, and structurally stable results were obtained.

        This study investigated variables for improving adhesive strength using laser surface treatment when bonding dissimilar materials using adhesives. adhesive strength analysis was performed for CFRP and Al6061 by laser irradiation intensity, and surface roughness was measured to analyze the related results. In the case of CFRP, the adhesive strength was good when the surface was not treated. In the case of Al6061, the adhesive strength was 25 MPa when the surface was treated with 20W, the maximum output of the laser surface treatment equipment, and the adhesive strength was improved by 125% compared to the untreated specimen. In addition, by measuring the surface roughness in the experiment, it was confirmed that the higher the surface roughness, the better the adhesive strength.

        In this paper, we proposed and tested an indoor obstacle recognition and avoidance algorithm using vision and ultrasonic sensors for effective operation of drone with low-power. In this paper, the indoor flight of a drone is mainly composed of two algorithms. First, for the indoor flight of the drone, the vanishing point and the center point of the image were extracted through Hough transform of the input image of the vision sensor. The drone moves along the extracted vanishing point. Second, we set an area of interest so that the drone can avoid obstacles. The area of interest is a space where the drone can fly after recognizing an obstacle at a distance from the ultrasonic sensor. When an obstacle is recognized in the drone's area of ​​interest, the drone performs an obstacle avoidance action. To verify the algorithm proposed in this paper, a simple obstacle was installed in an indoor environment and the drone was flown. From the experimental results, the proposed algorithm confirmed the indoor flight and obstacle avoidance behavior of the drone according to the vanishing point.

        This study analyzed habitat status of barn swallows within 800 m and changes in potential food resource occurrence for 63 nests (Seocheon 23, Sejong 40) where barn swallows breeding was confirmed in Seocheon and Sejong in 2019 and 2020. As a result of checking habitat compositions of barn swallows in the study area, Sejong showed more varieties of habitat types than Seocheon, showing a larger number of dominant groups. Such large number of dominant groups was found to be an advantageous habitat factor for producing flying insects as potential food resources for barn swallows. As for the production of potential food resources, Seocheon had the highest production in dwelling and stream and Sejong had the highest production in the stream. The production of potential food resources differed in production season by habitat type. This study analyzed compositions of the habitat around the breeding site of swallows. It provides basic data necessary for protecting barn swallow habitats by comparing the production timing and production volume of potential food resources occurring in the habitat.

        지속적인 화석연료의 과도한 소비는 지구온난화와 기후환경 위기를 초래하고 있다. 이에 따라 화석연료의 대체 에너지 중 수소에너지가 주목받고 있는데, 수소에너지는 공해물질의 배출이 없고 자원적인 제약이 없다는 장점이 있다. 이에 따라 물의 전기분해를 이용하여 수소를 생산하는 수전해 시스템 및 수소에너지를 연료로 사용하여 전기를 생산하는 연료전 지 시스템과 관련된 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수전해 시스템과 연료전지의 핵심 소재 중 하나인 음이온 전도성 이오노머 소재를 대상으로 과량의 수화 상태를 반영하여 3D 이오노머 모델을 제작하였다. 최종적으로 과량의 수화상 태에서 이오노머의 구조적인 안정성과 성능 분석을 통해, 수전해 시스템과 연료전지의 핵심 소재인 음이온 전도성 이오노머 설계에 있어서 성능향상 인자를 제시하고자 하였다.

        본 연구는 해양시설의 HNS 배출허용기준 체계에 적용 가능한 사회적 영향인자 평가방법 및 절차를 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 인천광역시 소재 해양시설 71개소로 대상으로 기업규모에 따라 대기업, 중견기업, 중소기업, 소기업으로 구분하였고, 신규 기술도입비용 은 5년간 분산하여 적용하는 경우로 추산하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업분야 항목에서는 경영상부담정도를 나타내는 지표 중 매출액감소 1점, 영업이익률감소 평균 3.5점, 도산가능성 2.7점으로 평가되어, 평균 2.7점으로 ‘영향있다’로 평가되었다. 둘째, 지역경제 항목의 평가지표 중 주민보건비지출부담 4점, 관광수입손실액 4점, 어업생산량감소 2점 등 전체 평균 3.3점으로 ‘영향크다’로 평가되었 다. 평가결과 산업적인 면에서는 소기업, 중기업, 대기업 간에 미치는 영향편차가 큰데, 대기업은 영향이 거의 없었고, 소기업은 영향을 크게 받는 것으로 나타났다. 지역경제면에서는 주민보건비지출부담, 관광수입감소, 어업생산량감소 등이 지역경제에 미치는 영향은 두가 지로 구분하여 볼 수 있는데, 지역전체 GRDP에 미치는 영향은 매우적지만, 해당 종사자나 주민 개인에 미치는 영향은 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다.
