        톡토기는 토양에 서식하는 절지동물로서 다양한 기후와 환경에 적응하여 생활하면서 전 세계적인 분포를 가지는 생물이다. 대부분의 톡토기 종들은 습기가 많은 표토층에 주로 서식하며 토양내의 유기물질을 섭취 및 분해하여 토양의 2차 생산 및 에너지의 유통과정의 중요한 역할을 생태계 내에서 수행하고 있다. 토양과 밀접한 연관이 있는 톡토기를 이용하여 토양의 기초생산력을 측정하고 농약 및 비료와 같은 화학물질의 환경독성을 평가하거나 토양 오염에 대한 부차적인 영향을 조사하기 위하여 토양지표생물로 톡토기를 이용하는 방안에 대해 연구하기도 하였다. 톡토기 종은 다양한 환경에서 서식하고 있어 절지동물의 환경 적응력의 생리적인 특성을 연구하는데 도움을 줄 수도 있고, 서식지의 생태적인 특징을 파악하는 지표종으로 이용도 가능 할 것이다.

        The information about time spent in microenvironments plays a critical role for an exposure assessment of the person concerned, considering the personal exposure relies on the characterization of activity patterns of the population at risk and human activities impact the timing, location, and level of personal pollutant exposure. The purposes of this paper were to present indoor time activity patterns of Korean from a population-based study and to determine individual factors of time spent in microenvironments. The population based study collected time activity pattern of about 32,000 Korean for two consecutive days. The mean times spent at home, other indoors, outdoors, and transportation in related to the whole sample of 19.025 people are 14.23hrs(59.3%), 6.80hrs(28.3%), 1.26hrs(5.2%), and 1.75hrs(7.3%) in weekday, respectively. Database provides information on how the proportion of persons in different locations changes by time of day in weekday. Here, we see that over 90% of respondents were in a residence from about 11 PM to 5 AM, and the largest proportions of respondents in offices, factories, schools and public buildings occur between 8 AM and 5 PM.

        Efforts to reduce noise in industrial application fields, such as automobiles, aircrafts, and plants have been gaining considerable attention while a sound proof wall to protect people from the noise has been intensively investigated by many researchers. In this study, our research group suggested creating a new sound proof wall composed of scrap aluminum chips and perforated plates in a commercial polyester sound proof wall, which was then successfully fabricated. This wall's sound absorption characteristics were measured by an impedance tube method. The sound absorption property was evaluated by measuring the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) to the standard, ASTM C 423-90a. The noise reduction coefficient of the sound proof wall composed of 3.5 vol.% and 7.5 vol.% of scrap aluminum chips relatively increased to 5% and 8% compared to the commercial polyester sound proof wall. The scrap aluminum perforated plate also relatively increased to 13% compared to the commercial polyester sound proof wall.

        Lead-acid battery is being most widely used with secondary battery because of its low price, and long life cycles. But According to using for a long time, its voltage, capacity, and recovery ability is decreased gradually. Therefore there are many papers about improving the property of a lead-acid battery. One of them is to slow down sulfation due to formation of inner PbSO sub(4) by adding inhibitor to electrolyte, however it was not well known what is inhibitor's composition and its role acting on both cathodic and anodic electrode because of its know-how of every country and companies. The purpose of this paper is to study about improvement of property of lead-acid battery by adding one of the inhibitor to H sub(2) SO sub(4) electrolyte.

        화분의 수와 종류에 있어서 차이를 나타내며 K/Na 비율이 3.9-27.9 배로 토종꿀에서 증가한 반면, Fe, Zn, Al은 토종꿀에서 검출되지 않았다. 토종꿀과 양봉꿀은 각각의 구성성분에 있어서 미시적인 차이가 인정되었다. 토종꿀 특이적인 단백질의 전기영동적인 판별과 동시에 본 연구에서 확인한 화분의 종류, K/Na ratio, 및 Fe, Zn, Al의 검출여부 등으로 판별을 확증할 수 있으리라 기대되며 이와 같은 예비적인 특성 비교는 지역의
