        Most of the Korea's small and medium sized firms have been subcontracted in mechanical and electronics industries. In Electronics industries, there is subcontracting in case of suppling numerous parts in non-mass jobbing production which is agreeable to production plans. To estimate processing cost of job-subcontracting which breaks irrationality, we make optimum processing cost yielding method which is changed easily by job analysis and job alteration.

        공무원의 직무수행동기는 조직에서 요구하는 일을 하려는 동기로서 조직참여자의 직무수행과 생산성을 결정짓는 데 영향을 미친다. 교정공무원은 여타 형사사법기관보다 상대적으로 불안전한 근무환경으로 직무수행동기가 낮은 것으로 인식되어 왔다. 따라서 본 논문은 서울지방교정청과 대구지방교정청에 근무하는 교정공무원(287명)을 대상으로 머슬로의 욕구5단계이론을 기준으로 교정공무원의 직무수행동기에 영향을 미치는 각종 요인에 대해서 각 지표를 개발, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과 교정공무원들은 보수수준(안정성), 근무시간(안전성) 등에 직급별로 차이를 보였고, 업무의 재량성, 동료간 의사소통이 문제를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교정공무원은 학력이 높을수록, 연령이 많을수록 교정직 공무원으로서의 성취욕, 자아실현감 등의 욕구를 충족하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 교정공무원법의 제정과 고급인력채용시스템의 확충과 각종 인사상 인센티브제공, 교정직의 올바른 홍보, 지역사회와의 친화프로그램개발 등의 교정공무원의 직무동기를 높이기 위한 방안을 시행할 필요가 있다.

        This study carried out a questionnaire survey of opticians working at optical dispensing shops and eye elinies in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do for their job satisfaction for the period from june to October 2003. According to the result of analyzing opticians' job satisfaction according to their general characteristics, job satisfaction appeared higher in those aged over 36, in married ones than unmarried ones, and in college graduates and above. In addition, job satisfaction was higher in those working at ophthalmologic hospitals than those working at optical dispensing shops, in managers than in employees, those with a monthly salary over 3 million won, those who work less than 8 hours a day on the average, and those who have work experience over 8 years. However, no significant difference was found according to gender and the number of job changes. According to the result of regression analysis on general characteristics and job satisfaction, influence was high in order of working hours a day, workplace, academic qualification and location. According to the result of analyzing the 7 factors of job satisfaction, which were autonomy in work, human relations, work environment, occupational pride, job status, wage and the sense of belonging, opticians generally appeared to be satisfied with autonomy in work, human relations, job status and the sense of belonging, but not in work environment, occupational pride and wage. In addition, according to the result of comparing opticians working at optical dispensing shops with those at ophthalmologic hospitals for the 7 factors, the latter were more satisfied than the former in human relations, work environment, occupational pride and job status.

        Job characteristics have influence on the organizational effectiveness. The job characteristics are the core job dimension and organizational effectiveness. Aptitude and personality also act on job characteristics. In this study, we investigate chinese characters by province and city. The purpose of this study is to develop the job characteristics and organizational effectiveness model for chinese by province and city. Consequently, we suggest to be applied the model to korean finns strategically, which push into China, by view of improvement of organizational effectiveness and adaptation in China.

        All managers should consider both of job performance and job satisfaction as influential key results to be achieved by people at work. One without the other is simply insufficient to meet the high standards of today's workplace. Some workers achieve a sense of personal satisfaction from their jobs while others do not. the others achieve high levels of task performance while others do not.         E-business is rapidly prevailing in our society by increasing of the use of the internet. Therefore the education system of e-business should contain requirements of customers, i.e. various industries. College curriculum should be related to tasks of e-business.         In the Oriental Medicine, the physical constitution of a human being can be classified into five characteristic elements. The remedy based on the five elements constitution has revealed excellent clinical effects so far. Therefore, it may be worthwhile to conduct job design researches considering the five elements constitution for improving the efficiency and safety of job. In this study, we examine whether the theory can be applied for job design through the experiment by ‘Digital-type Speed Anticipation Reaction Tester’ or not and suggest the desirable direction of job design.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate whether training of writing a daily work log using cognitive therapy approach can help increase work performance in a patient with depression using a single subject experimental reversal design (ABA). Method : The patient is a 19-year male youth with a diagnosis of depression of which onset was 2 years. While being on a work-aid program for individuals with various disabilities, he has shown helplessness, inferiority with his appearance, insomnia, and suicidal impulse besides depression. His supervisor reports that he often fails to complete his own work, makes errors and mistakes, and cuts his work hours. His training of writing a daily work log consisted of the following steps; (a) analyzing and writing about the circumstances, his behaviors, thoughts, and feelings at the happiest and unhappiest work or time on a daily basis; (b) analyzing and writing his plans about how to improve his unhappy feelings or circumstances, implement them accordingly, and the results post implementation of these plans; (c) reviewing his daily work log and discussing about it with the main investigator daily; and (d) writing 3 times and reading aloud 2 times his resolutions regarding the unpleasant circumstances, methods to improve the circumstances or feelings, and the expected positive results from his resolutions. This training was conducted for 5 days. Results : The results were: on self-reporting depression scale, a mean of 80% in the baseline and 68% in the training; on self-reporting on the patient’s work performance satisfaction, a mean of 68% in the baseline, and 88% in the training; the supervisor’s reporting of the patient on the Work Personality Profile, a mean of 58% in the baseline and 70% in the training; and on the self-reporting on the Dysfunctional Attitude Scale, 215 out of 280 full points in the baseline and 164 in the training. Conclusions : The results indicate that the use of writing a daily log using cognitive approach helps improve not only depression state but also work performance in a patient with depression.

        The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of personal and job characteristics on the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of dietitians employed in different foodservice settings. The subjects were dietitians(n=830) employed by schools, hospitals, and industries in Daegu Gyeongbuk area. A questionnaire was used to determine personal and job characteristics, commitment and satisfaction. Organizational commitment scores were the highest for hospital dietitians, and the lowest for industry dietitians (p<0.05). Industry dietitians felt significantly less loyal to their organizations than did the other dietitians(p<0.05). School and hospital dietitians were significantly more likely to say they cared about the fate of their organizations and thought their organizations were the best to work for. Age, education, length of employment, and wages were positively associated with hospital dietitians' commitment(p<0.05). For all dietitians, the fewer the work hours, the higher the commitment(p<0.05). When asked to rate their satisfaction with various aspects of their jobs, dietitians expressed the most satisfaction with co-workers, and the least satisfaction with promotion opportunities. School dietitians were significantly less satisfied with pay and promotion than were the other dietitians. Organizational commitment was associated with wages(0.05), autonomy(0.08), feedback(0.16), dealings with others(0.07), and task identity(0.09). Job satisfaction was affected by educational level(-0.13), wages(0.10), autonomy(0.18), friendship opportunities(0.14), feedback(0.16), task identity(-0.11) and organizational commitment(0.40) (Lisrel program).
