This study examined the certification effects of safety and health management system (SHMS) on the establishment level of SHMS and accident statistics in construction industry. This study obtained the establishment level of SHMS for 106 construction companies surveyed from our previous study. In addition, three major accident statistics (mortality rate, accidental mortality rate, and injury rate) for the companies were collected from the database in Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency. The statistical analysis results revealed that the establishment level for SHMS certified companies was significantly higher than those for uncertified or certification preparing companies. Furthermore, SHMS certified companies showed significantly smaller accident statistics compared to uncertified or certification preparing companies. The results of this study support the positive effects of SHMS on reducing major industrial accidents in construction companies.
In this study, based on the System Dynamics (SD) methodology, the interrelationship between the factors inherent in the operation of the New Technology Certification System (NTCS) in Korea was identified by a causal map containing a feedback loop mechanism in connection with ‘new technology development investment’, ‘commercialization of new technology’, and ‘sales by new technology’. This conceptualized causal map was applied to the simulation of the operations of the New Excellent Technology and Environmental Technology Verification System (NET&ETV) run by the Ministry of Environment among various NTCSs in Korea. A SD computer simulation model was developed to analyze and predict the operational performance of the NET&ETV in terms of key performance indices such as ‘sales by new technology’. Using this model, we predicted the future operational status the NET&ETV and found a policy leverage that greatly influences the operation of the NET&ETV. Also the sensitivity of the key indicators to changes in the external variables in the model was analyzed to find policy leverage.
This paper investigated relationship among internal as well as external motive to receive the ISO 13485 certification, countermeasure to the certification examination, active reception/execution level of the certification, and operational as well as financial performance of the medical device related enterprises in South Korea which received and are maintaining the ISO 13485 certification. SEM (structural equation model) and related analyses using AMOS 21.0 and SPSS 21.0 have been applied to verify the hypotheses of the research. Result of the research showed that internal as well as external motive for certification positively(+) affects active reception/execution level of the certification as well as countermeasure to the certification examination. The reception/execution level of the certification also positively(+) affects on the operational as well as financial performance of the certified enterprises. However, countermeasure to the certification examination was found out to negatively(-) affects the active reception/execution level of the certification and we can interpret that relatively more countermeasure to the certification examination burdens the employees of the enterprise, causing them to be less active on the reception/execution level of the certification. This research found that an enterprise’s operational/financial performance improves when an enterprise introduces the ISO 13485 certification standard spontaneously on the purpose of improving its system and the certification system is applied to the enterprise actively, not passively. This research emphasizes the need to recognize the difference of the level of active reception implication among members of an enterprise according to the motive of introduction of the certification system.
This study is for figuring out major components of construction quality infrastructure and suggesting improvement plan by benchmarking global best practice model and analyzing gap between the model and sample practice. Based on improvement plan, researcher could derive major characters and components of construction quality infrastructure, and also about the priority among core competency components of construction quality experts. The result showed that the 'human resource' was ranked the best priority followed by 'method' 'environment', 'equipment' among major characters and components of construction quality infrastructure. Also, for core competency components of construction quality experts, 'number of years in work places' was the best priority, and the 'professional knowledge on engineering' was another priority ranked. Far from general perception on competency components, 'academic education' ranked the last. It may allude that the current education system in this country is not effective in developing competency of quality engineers. In summary, this study shows professionalism of quality engineer is the most important thing in all the components.
ISO 9001, quality management system, is widely known as advancing internal efficiency and productivity in various industry. As a result, the number of companies that have adopted ISO 9001’s certification have been increasing continuously year by year since ISO 9000’ family standard was published in 1987s. This fact shows that a lot of businesses are trying to get the accreditation for improving the competitiveness of quality. The purpose of this study is to present that ISO 9001’s certification motives affect to the requirement’s implementation and show that the execution of requirements influences on management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 96 survey sheets and inspected twenty assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factors of certification motive influence on the requirement’s implementation except resources management. Second, the two elements of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and product realization, have an important effect on the operational performance and financial performance considerably in the companies that choose the internal motive. Finally, the two requisites of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and measurement, analysis and improvement, affect to the operational performance and financial performance significantly in the businesses that select the external motive. Based on the results, the companies that choose the internal motive have a good performance to execute the ISO 9001 requirements. Also, to implement the requirements of ISO 9001 is helpful for the companies to produce the operational and financial performance.
For the sustainable development, companies are making a lot of efforts such as activities of sales increase and cost reduction. Among these, efforts to use limited resources efficiently and effectively is still being made steadily. And many methods for management innovation are being introduced and used. However there were partial or temporary effects only. So there are not enough to achieve operations performance to cover the entire system. Therefore, in order to maximize performance or to improve sustainability across the companies, it is necessary to rebuild the existing system with process perspective not with existing functional perspective. This study was performed to achieve the objective that is operation performance improvement of certification body. So literature review was researched and analyed about the process innovation and the process approach. And basic model which is compatible with ISO/IEC 17021 requirement for the certification body was established in this study. Based on this model, one of the certification body was selected and operation system for this organization was established, documented and implemented through the process approach method. 세계적으로 온실가스 배출량 문제 등의 녹색환경을 위한 연구가 많이 진행되어 있으며, 최근 국내에서 도 녹색도로와 관련된 법/제도 및 온실가스 배출량 저감, 탄소중립형 도로, 녹색도로 인증 등에 대한 연 구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 녹색도로 인증제에 대한 연구는 미국, 영국 등에서 먼저 연구를 시작하였 으며, 대표적인 녹색도로 인증제로 미국 워싱턴주의 Greenroads, 뉴욕주의 GreenLITS라는 녹색도로 자 체 평가시스템을 개발 운영하고 있으나, 국내에서는 아직 녹색도로에 대한 평가 및 인증 수행에 필요한 법/제도 및 평가 체계, 인증기관, 시스템 등의 장치가 부족한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 이러한 해외 연구 사례 및 국내 녹색도로 법/제도 연구 내용을 바탕으로 우리나라의 실정에 적합한 녹색도로 인 증 및 모니터링 시스템을 개발하였다. 녹색도로 인증을 위해서는 국내 도로 환경에 적합한 평가지표가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 녹색도로 인 증시스템 구현을 위하여 현재 진행 중인“탄소중립형 도로기술 개발”과제에서 한국건설기술연구원과 한 국교통연구원에서 연구하여 작성된 녹색도로 법/제도 및 인증제 개발 분야에서의 평가지표 초안을 기반 으로 인증시스템을 구현하였다.
국내의 많은 기업들은 품질경영시스템인 ISO 9000 시리즈와 식스시그마 등 기업의 품질 및 제품에 대한 품질을 높이기 위해 품질관리, 품질경영에 많은 시간과 비용을 들여왔다. 하지만 품질인증제도와는 달리 제품의 신뢰성에 관한 경영시스템인증을 받 으려고 하는 기업은 거의 없는 실정이다. 부품·소재나 제품의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 방안으로써 신뢰성경영시스템에 대한 인증은 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 신뢰성 관련 기 법들을 표준화하고, 효율적인 경영시스템을 도입하여 운영하고, 여기에 세계적으로 통 용되는 기술체계를 도입하여 기업의 신뢰성경영시스템을 발전시킨다면 우리산업이 당 면한 수출 경쟁력 확보 등의 현안문제 해결에도 도움이 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 신 뢰성 경영시스템 인증제도 수립에 있어 국제 표준인 신뢰성경영시스템 IEC 60300에 대해 소개하고, 신뢰성 경영시스템 평가방법을 활용한 MIR기법과 AHP기법을 분석 비 교하고, 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of quality management system constructed by ISO 9001 certificates through BSC perspectives. Evaluation of quality management system based on BSC framework can consider short-term financial performance as well as nonfinancial performance characteristics, which will derive future financial results. This results show that QMS has an indirect effect on business performance through quality performance and customer satisfaction, which are internal business process and customer perspective, rather than has a direct effect on financial performance. Finally we suggest implications of this study and future research direction.

But small & medium enterprises (SMS) has many difficulties to set up the OSHMS system because of limited natural and human resources. In this study, the rating system as a judgment method of an OSHMS based on the certification standard of the OSHMS, which was suggested in previous study, was developed for SMS to adopt voluntarily the OSHMS, certify KOSHA 18001, and improve the safety and health level.
In today's society it is often required to state objectively conformity of products (including services) to specified requirements. Conformity assessment bodies (CABs). can objectively state such conformity. These CABs perform conformity assessment activities that include certification, inspection, testing and calibration. A system to accredit CABs conformity assessment services should provide confidence to the purchaser and regulator. Certification of management system is one of means of providing assurance that the organization has implemented a system for the management of the relevant aspects of its activities, in line its policy.
본 논문에서는 질의어를 이용하여 온라인 인터넷상의 게임 보안 시스템과 연동되는 질의어를 암호화할 수 있는 모델을 설계하고 구현하였다. 인터넷과 게임 인증 보안의 연동을 통해 기존의 클라이언트/서버 컴퓨팅 보안 환경을 개선하려 하고 있으며 내부 서버와 연동되는 인터넷게임의 보안이 중요한 문제점으로 떠오르고 있다. 이에 인터넷 게임에 접속할 때 일반적으로 사용되는 인증수단을 개선하여 인증보안이 강화된 ID와 패스워드를 통하여 암호화할 수 있는 암호화 질의어를 생성하고 그 알고리즘을 통하여 데이터베이스 테이블의 정보를 암호화하는 모델을 본 논문에서 제시하고 유지,보수 관리 방안도 함께 고찰한다.
