        소립 검정콩의 생산지역 확대를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 중북부지역에서 생산된 소립 검정콩의 품질과 이화학 특성을 검토하였다. 소립 검정콩의 수분, 조회분, 조지방, 조단백질 및 탄수화물 함량은 각각 5.53~6.69, 5.47~6.54, 15.38~19.14, 34.17~40.26 및 32.04~36.85 g/100 g으로 품종 및 파종 시기에 따라 대체적으로 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 명도, 적색도 및 황색도는 각각 35.60~38.61, -0.02~0.07 및 -0.56~-0.13으로 나타났고, 수분결합력, 용해도 및 팽윤력은 각각 84.48~148.31, 46.65~54.89 및 29.87~35.12%로 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 총 폴리페놀 함량은 1차, 2차 및 3차 파종한 시료에서 각각 10.40~15.48, 9.86~14.85 및 8.61~15.39 mg GAE/g, 총 플라보노이드 함량은 각각 5.81~7.25, 5.81~7.34 및 5.52~7.64 mg CE/g으로 품종에 따라 유의적인 차이를 보였다. DPPH radical 소거활성은 각각 4.55~7.86, 3.99~8.79 및 3.74~9.43 mg TE/g, ABTS radical 소거활성은 각각 9.32~12.90, 8.64~13.39 및 8.51~14.35 mg TE/g으로 품종에 따라 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 파종시기에 따라 다원콩, 소청 품종의 페놀 성분은 파종시기가 늦어질수록 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 소청, 쥐눈이 품종의 radical 소거활성은 유의적으로 감소하였고, 소청2호와 소청자 품종은 유의적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 이상의 연구에서 품종 및 파종시기에 따라 페놀 성분 함량과 radical 소거활성이 달라지므로 재배지역의 환경을 고려하여 알맞은 품종과 적정 파종시기에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다

        Analysis of nutritional compositions of soybean sprouts cultivated with bamboo ash was carried out. Bamboo ash was utilized as sprouting water of soybeans and adjusted to 0.2, 0.6, 1.0, 1.4, 2.0, 6.0 and 10.0 g/L. Stem length and contents of isoflavone (daidzin, glycitin, genestin, daidzein, glycitein, and genestein) and vitamin C in soybean sprouts cultivated with 0.2 g/L were higher than those in soybean sprouts cultivated with only water. Potassium, magnesium, and calcium of all cultivation methods were detected in higher contents than others. In particular, potassium showed a high absorption rate in the soybean sprouts. The major amino acid was asparagine (616.05~849.15 mg/100 g, soybean eq.), and contents of lysine, leucine, and ornithine in soybean sprouts cultivated at 0.2 g/L were higher than those of methods by only water and addition of 6-benzylaminopurine. According to the results, soybean sprouts cultivated with 0.2 g/L of bamboo ash were effective for increasing nutritional compositions.

        Shoot-fresh-weight (SFW) is one of the parameters, used to estimate the total plant biomass yield in soybean. Understanding the genetic and molecular basis of SFW could help increase the total biomass production. In this particular study, we identified QTLs associated with SFW in a Recombinant Inbred Line (RIL) population derived from interspecific cross of PI483463 and Hutcheson. A total of 551 (535 SNP and 16 SSR) markers, were found to be polymorphic between the parental lines and were used to screen the RILs to develop the genetic map. Linkage analysis and QTL mapping were performed using with the software QTL IciMapping version 4.0, with the minimum LOD score of 3.0 and estimating the likelihood of a QTL and its corresponding effects at every 1cM. QTLs with LOD value > threshold LOD, as determined by 1000 permutation tests at p > 0.05 were considered as significant QTLs. The analysis identified a total of 5 QTLs associated with shoot fresh weight over two environments, with the phenotypic variation (PV) ranging from 6.34 to 21.32%, and the additive effect from -0.54 to 0.33. Among these QTLs, qFW1314_19_1 had the largest LOD scores, with PV of 21.32%. Interestingly, three QTLs, qFW2013_19_1, qFW2014_19_1, and qFW1314_19_1 identified on chromosome 19(L), showed negative additive effects, indicating the contribution from the wild parent PI483463. The QTLs identified in this study can be the targets to identify the candidate genes for the SFW and can help in developing cultivars with increased biomass potential.

        In southern region of Korea, double cropping system including soybean as a second crop is widely adopted because prolonged high temperature in October enables soybean maturation even in late autumn. Global warming during decades derives transition of soybean planting dates as late as late-July. Delayed planting beyond the critical time moves reproductive stage to less favorable weather conditions like low temperature and short photoperiod, which can affect soybean yield and seed composition. Therefore selection of appropriate cultivar for changed climate and cultural practice is required. Effects of different eco-type and planting date on soybean yield was investigated for three sowing dates of 20 June, 5 July and 20 July with ten cultivars. Strong interaction between cultivar and sowing date was detected in number of branch, node and pod. No significant interaction was observed in 100-grain weight and yield, and this might be resulted from similar yield reduction pattern. Daepung, Taekwang and Uram recorded the highest yield when planted late, proving that these three cultivars are the most adaptable to delayed planting. Delayed planting results in higher sugar content, especially stachyose and raffinose which have detrimental effect on human health by causing flatulence and diarrhea. Protein content was decreased and oil content was increased in July 20 planting. Decrease in protein content was the largest in Hwangeumol and maintained high in Saedanbaek. This information will provide a guideline when select appropriate soybean cultivar in delayed planting to maintain yield and seed quality.

        Scientific studies have shown that essential fatty acidintake can have a dramatic impact on human health. Soybean [Glycine max(L.) Merr.] oil from current commercial cultivars typically containsaround 8%linolenic acid (18:3) known as omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 fatty acid plays an important role to prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer. Relatively high 18:3 content in seed oil is a trait of the wild soybean (Glycine soja Sieb. and Zucc.) ancestor of modern soybean cultivars. Wild soybean is native to Korean peninsula and recently thousands of wild soybeans collected by soybean researchers in Korea. The objective of this study were to determine the linolenic acid content for wild soybean collection and to determine the stability of linolenic acid content derived from wild soybean over environments. Fatty acid profile for 1,806 wild soybean accessions collected from South Korea was determined by GC. The range of linolenic acid was 7.3 to 23.7% with an average 15.6%. We developed a recombinant inbred population from a cross PI483463 (wild soybean with 15% 18:3) and Hutcheson (cultivar with 8% 18:3). Three RILs, RIL156, RIL159 and RIL166, with high linolenic acid content (over 14%), parents and Williams 82 as checks were grown in nine environments over 2008-2011. Results showed that the content of linolenic acid for the PI483463, Hutcheson, and Williams 82 ranged from 14.8 to 17.1, 8.5 to 9.7, and 6.9 to 8.4 % and averaged 15.4, 9.2 and 8.0%, respectively. However selected RILs 156, 159, and 166 ranged from 10.7 to 15.7, 14 to 15.8, and 14.8 to 15.8, and averaged 13.9, 14.9, and 15.2, respectively. Among the tested accessions, RIL166 was the most stable with the lowest range and CV, and had a relatively lower stability coefficient value than other genotypes. Genes related to high linolenic acid from wild soybean may be useful in developing higher linolenic acid soybean genotypes and would broaden the use of soybean in food applications to improve human nutrition and health.

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of carbonated water on the yield, weight, length, thickness, and vitamin C and isoflavone contents of soybean sprouts cultivated for 6 days. 100 g Junjori cultivar soybeans were cultivated at 22±1℃ with carbonated water (pH 4.5) and drinking water (pH 7.8) for 6 days, respectively, after 6h presoaking treatment. The yield of the soybean sprouts cultivated with carbonated water for 6 days was 255.1 g, approximately 1.45 times higher than the 176.1 g soybean sprouts cultivated in drinking water. The weight and length of the soybean sprouts cultivated with carbonated water were 1.3 and 1.2 times higher, respectively, than those of the soybean sprouts cultivated with drinking water. The same can be said of the thickness of the carbonated- and drinking-water soybean sprouts. The vitamin C contents of the soybean sprouts cultivated with carbonated water was about two times (1.13 mg%) higher than those of the soybean sprouts cultivated with drinking water. The genistein and daidzeinin contents of the soybean sprouts cultivated for 6 days with carbonated water were higher than those of the soybean sprouts cultivated for 6 days with drinking water. The growth characteristics and contents of the useful components of the soybean sprouts were affected more by carbonated water than by drinking water.

        Genetic diversity plays a great role in the survival and adaptability of a species under changable environment. Korea is known as original region of cultivated soybean species with high genetic diversity of wild and cultivated soybean lines. We have collected many semi-wild soybean lines, however, the information about the genetic diversity of these lines is limited. And also the phylogenetic relationship and genetic distance among the semi-wild, typical wild types (Glycine soja Sied. & Zucc.), and cultivated soybean(Glycine max (L.) Merr.) have been controversial. This study was carried out to analyze the diversity of the three groups, and to verify their genetic variation and relationships among them. The diversity indexes of typical wild, semi-wild, and cultivated soybean accessions were 0.854, 0.677, and 0.528, respectively. According to the cluster analysis for the genetic relationships, 58 accessions were defined into three genetic groups. Cluster I consisted of 20 cultivated soybean accessions and three semi-wild soybean lines. Cluster II contained 13 semi-wild soybean lines and one typical wild soybean line. Cluster II included 21 typical wild soybean lines and one semi-wild soybean line. Genetic distance between cultivated and semi-wild soybean, typical wild and semi-wild, and cultivated and typical wild were 0.525 0.761 and 0.810, respectively.         우리나라에서 재배 생산된 콩을 지역별로 수집하여 단백질, 지방함량 및 지방산 조성의 변이를 구명하여 국내 콩 자원의 이용성을 증진하고 고품질의 국산콩 생산기반 구축 및 특산단지 조성을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 본 시험을 수행한 결과를 하면 다음과 같다. 1 황색콩의 백립중은 24.6~36.6 g(평균 29.0g)이었고, 검정콩은 27.7~33.1g (평균 31.2 g)의 변이를 보였으나 백립중 편차의 폭이 커 국내 유통 콩의 크기가 매우 다양함을 알 수 있었다. 2. 검정콩 59종의 단백질 함량은 38.6%로서 황색콩 58종의 단백질 함량 37.9%보다 높았으나 지방함량은 황색콩이 18.1%로서 검정콩의 17.6%보다 높아 종피색에 따른 변이를 보였다. 3. 우리나라 지역별 수집콩 117종의 지방산의 수준은 linoleic > oleic > palmitic > linolenic > stearic > arachidic > myristic > benhenic acid 순으로 높았으며, linoleic acid가 53.75%, oleic acid가 22.08%로서 지방산조성의 약 75.83%에 해당되었다. 4. 불포화지방산 수준은 수집 지역간에 통계적 유의차가 있었으나 linoleic acid 및 oleic acid수준은 수집지역에 따른 변이가 통계적으로 유의차를 보이지 않아 불포화지방산의 지역간 수준 차이는 주로 linolenic acid의 변이에 기인한 것으로 판단되었다. 5. 황색콩의 linoleic, oleic, palmitic, linolenic acid의 조성은 각각 53.43%, 22.73%, 12.23% 및 8.24%였으나 검정콩은 54.13%, 21.48%, 12.47% 및 8.31%로 나타나 콩의 종피색에 따른 지방산 수준에 변이가 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 6. Oleic acid의 수준은 종피색에 따른 뚜렷한 변이를 보였으며 황색콩이 검정콩에 비하여 oleic acid의 조성비가 높게 분포되어 있었다. 7. 황색콩의 경우 백립중이 무거울수록 불포화지방산의 수준이 유의하게 감소되는 것으로 나타났으나(r=-0.513, P<0.01), 검정콩의 경우에는 백립중이 증가됨에 따라 불포화지방산의 수준이 증가되는 경향을 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다.(r=0.154ns).

        본 연구는 농진청 종자은행에 보존된 한국, 중국 및 일본 재래종 콩과 한국 야생콩의 SSR profile 작성과 그들의 유전적 구조 해석을 위해 9개의 SSR 마커에 의해 분석되었다. 1. DNA profiling은 유전자좌별로 2,855(Satt458)점~ 4,368(Satt197)점이 분석되어 35,655건이 데이터베이스화되었다. 2. 총 대립인자수는 267개였고 유전자좌당 평균 29.6개의 높은 다형성을 나타냈다. 유전자좌별 대립인자 수는 21개(Satt532 및 Satt141)부터 58개(Sat074)까지 나타났다. 자원내력별 대립인자수는 한국 야생콩에서 196개로 가장 많은 것으로 나타난 반면, 일본 재래종 콩에서는 가장 적은 115개로 나타났다. 3. 집단에 따른 유전자좌별 대립인자의 범위로 한국 재래종 콩이 가장 많은 5개의 유전자좌(Sat074, Satt141, Satt286, Satt545, Satt458)에서 다음으로는 한국 야생콩이 4개의 유전자좌(Satt187, Satt532, Satt245, Satt197)에서 가장 넓은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 대립 인자수면에서는 한국 재래종 콩이 5개의 유전자좌(Sat074, Satt141, Satt197, Satt545, Satt458)에서 가장 많은 대립인자수를 나타냈고, 한국 야생콩은 나머지 4개의 유전자좌(Satt187, Satt532, Satt245, Satt286)에서 가장 많은 대립인자수를 나타냈다. 4. 대립인자 분포에 있어 전체적으로 한국 야생콩 집단은 재래종 집단들에 비해 고른 분포를 나타냈고 대립인자의 크기가 큰쪽(high ladder)에서보다 작은쪽(low ladder)에서 높은 분포를 나타냈다. 5. 재래종 집단들 간에 대립인자 분포를 살펴보면, 한국 집단은 Satt286(202 bp, 232 bp)에서, 중국집단은 Satt197(171 bp)와 Satt458(173 bp)에서 그리고 일본집단은 Sat074(244 bp)와 Satt458(170 bp)에서 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다.

        This study was carried out to determine adequate planting date, to compare the growth characteristics between early and late maturing cultivars, and to provide the data for the cultivation techniques of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] in double cropping system with winter crops on paddy field in Korea. Cultivars were planted on 26 May, 16 June, and 7 July with a planting density of 70cm(row~;widtb)~;~times~;10cm (planting spacing). Seed yield of soybean planted on June 16 and July 7 was approximately 37~%~;and~;53~% , respectively, less than that of conventional planting date of May 26 in Pungsan-namulkong, and planted on June 16 and July 7 was about 30~%~;and~;37~% , respectively, less then that of conventional planting date of May 26 in Hanamkong. The number of pods and seeds per plant decreased as planting date delayed. Seed weight increased in Pungsan-namulkong but decreased in Hannamkong as planting date delayed. The flowering date was late in delayed planting plots, but it was shorted for days from emergence to flowering and from emergence to maturity. The plant height of Hannamkong was greater than Pungsan-namulkong from the emergence to flowering stages, but in contrast, it was greater in Pungsan-namulkong than Hannamkong after flowering stage (50d after emergence) when it planted on May 26. There were no significant differences between two soybean cultivars at planting dates of June 16 and July 7. Leaf number, leaf area, and dry matter were also reduced by late planting, and Both of them were shown in high reduction at the later planting. There was a high significant difference at the flowering (r~;=~;0.87**) and pod formation (r~;=~;0.91**) stages between leaf dry matter and seed yield. Crop growth rate (CGR) was greater at R2~~R3 growth stages compared to R3~~R4~;or~;R4~~R5 growth stages in two soybean cultivars and the greatest CGR was obtained at planting date of May 26 in two soybean cultivars except for R4-R5 growth stage in Pungsan-namulkong. There was a highly significant positive difference between the seed yield and the leaf area index (LAI) across R3 to R4 and R2 to R3 stages. The photosynthetic rate (PN) of the uppermost leaf position had no significant difference among planting dates and between two soybean cultivars. However, PN of the 7th leaf position increased as the planting date delayed.

        인산증시가 야산개발지에 재배되는 대두의 식물체중의 무기성분과 수양 및 수양구성 요소에 미치는 영향을 검토한 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 경장, 분지수는 토양중의 인산함량과 수량은 개화기 경엽중의 인산함량과 각각 정의 상관관계를 보였다 2. 경장, 분지수, 총건물중, 엽수, 100입중, 그리고 수량이 인산증시와 정의 상관관계를 보였다. 3. 무린산구에 대비한 최대 인산시용구의 증수율은 46.2kg/10a에서 평균 69%였다.
