This survey was conducted to monitor the safety of children snacks circulated in a stationary store or small shop around the elementary school from March to October, 2008, in Gwangju. A total of 309 samples was tested. Of these samples, 254 were confectioneries, 41 were ready-to-eat foods like kimbap, 4 were beverages and 10 were the others like fishery products. 259 were domestic products and 50 were imported. By the origin of imported samples, 17 were from china, 6 from U.S.A., 5 from india and etc. We found out that in acid value, 2 cases of fried snacks(3.9 and 4.4) proved to exceed regulatory guidance(2.0). And among ready-to-eat foods, two kimbap had Staphylococcus aureus, and one had Escherichia coli, which microorganism could cause food poisoning.
The objectives of this study were to determine the recognition of food waste, school lunch leftovers and satisfaction toward school lunch in middle school students in Seoul. Four hundred students were surveyed beginning April, 2007. The results are summarized as follows. The primary means in which students learned about environmental pollution were 'video media' (54.7% males, 39.2% females) and 'by teachers' (23.2% males, 33.0% females). The primary effects on food habits after participating in the school lunch program were 'having a balanced diet' (23.3%) in the females, and 'decreased intake of junk food' (24.9%) in the males. The serving sizes for cooked rice, soup, and meat were higher in the females (3.46, 3.46, and 2,91, respectively) than the males (3.18, 3.29, and 2.73, respectively). The primary school lunch leftovers for one week were cooked rice (4.55), meat (4.35), kimchi (3.84), fish (3.60), vegetables (3.38), and soup (3.08). Importance-performance analysis of the school lunch meal indicated that good taste had high importance, but low performance. Nutritional balance, food safety, cleanliness of tableware and supplies, clean uniforms of employees, and cleanliness of the dining area had both high importance and performance.
논자가 분석ㆍ점검한 것을 요약하면 아래와 같다. 첫째, 봇짱이 공부했던 메이지시대의 물리학교는 낙제를 하지 않고 졸업하는 학생이 10% 전후로 입학은 쉬웠으나 졸업하기가 대단히 어려운 학교였다. 실력이 모자라는 학생에게 엄격한 학칙을 적용하여 낙제를 시키고 있었던 물리학교를 공부에 소질이 있는 편이 아닌 봇짱이 3년간 학교를 다니자 그냥 졸업하라고 해서 불평하지 않고 졸업해 버렸다고 표현한 것은, 나쓰메 소세키가 당시 물리학교의 상황과는 정반대로 작품에 묘사했던 것이다. 그 이유는 작자의 의도된 유머일 수도 있다. 하지만 그 속에는 일본인 특유의 남을 존중하고 자기를 최대한 낮추어 말하는 표현 방법 등이 깔려 있기 때문이다. 둘째, 메이지시대 말경에 일본정부가 인정하는 도쿄제국대학을 졸업하여 스미토모총본점에 입사한 사람의 급료가 40엔, 경시청 순사의 급료도 10∼13엔 정도였던 것을 고려해볼 때, 봇짱이 물리학교를 졸업하고 시코쿠 지방에 있는 중학교에 수학 교사로 취직을 하여 40엔이라고 하는 급료를 받은 것은 파격적인 대우였다. 교사로 취직하여 초임금 40엔을 받는다는 것은 당시 교직사회에서 당당하게 인정받고 있던 물리학교 출신의 영광을 상징하고 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 일본의 근대시대에는 어느 학교를 나왔느냐에 따라 급료의 차이와 신분의 차이가 났던 시대였다. 메이지 정부가 인정하는 제국대학을 졸업하기만 하면 급료를 많이 받고 고급관리와 관리직 등으로 근무할 수 있었다. 메이지 정부는 학벌에 의한 급료의 차이, 신분의 벽을 만들어 제국대학에 못 들어간 사람들에게는 열등감과 정신적 스트레스를 받는 제도를 만들었던 것이다. 그런데 제국대학 출신은 학문적으로는 우수했을지 몰라도 인간이 지켜야 할 인성적인 면까지 우수한 사람만 있었던 것은 아니었다. 학벌사회의 권력화에 대한 어두운 이면이《도련님》에 정밀하게 묘사되어 있다. 봇짱은 자신도 물리학교 출신이라고 하는 중간 엘리트의 학벌 혜택을 받았음에도 불구하고, 제국대학 출신의 슈퍼(super) 엘리트 학벌 소지자의 권위를 인정하려고 하지 않는다. 오히려 제국대학 출신 교감 선생과 충동적으로 대결하려고 했기 때문에 충돌이 일어났고 점차 좌절감을 맛보게 된다. 일본 근대의 독특한 학벌이라는 사회제도가 존재하는 시대에 봇짱이 제국대학 출신인 아카샤쓰를 강자로 인정하지 않고 불신임하고, 충돌하려 했던 것은 필연적으로 좌절과 패배를 맛볼 수밖에 없었던 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze Technical High School Teachers' opinions to find out solutions to reduce safety accidents since it is important for teachers to recognize the importance of safety. We surveyed 150 teachers from technical high schools located in Incheon and divided them into three categories and asked their opinions about prevention of safety accidents in laboratories. We also studied their experiences constructing educational environment and making instructional materials for safety eduction to improve safety awareness. Also, we studied whether school safety awareness increases through safety related activities.
In this study, the seismic performance of RC school buildings which were not designed according to earthquake-resistance design code were evaluated by using response spectrum and push-over analyses. From the results of analysis, the efficiency of the seismic retrofitting methods RC shear wall, steel frame, RC frame and PC wing wall for existing RC school buildings was evaluated and analysised. The analysis result indicate that the inter-story drift concentrated in the first floor and most plastic hinge forms in the column of the first story. And results of analysis of the efficiency of the seismic retrofitting indicate that inter-story drift significantly reduced and ductile behavior is expected.
Since the school buildings are generally used as public shelters when the natural disasters such as flood and earthquake occur, it must be designed to show enough structural performance when subject to earthquake. Major failure mode of the school buildings observed in past earthquakes were shear failure of column of which length is shortened by infilled masonry blocks. ln this study, the seismic risk of the reinforced concrete school building structure was evaluated by using the seismic performance evaluation methods of low-story RC structures developed in Japan and the required seismic performance index which is obtained according to the KBC2008 seismic hazard map and soil types. ln this paper, the seismic performance of the school building is evaluated by considering this short-column effects, building shape and deterioration.
This study was conducted to investigate whether there is a difference in calcium intake between elementary school students who are participating in the school milk program and those who are not. The study samples consisted of 240 milk program participants and 120 non-participants in the fifth and the sixth grades at a school located in Cheong-ju. The survey questionnaire included questions related to general status, drinking milk at school, and intake of milk and dairy products at home. An FFQ (food frequency questionnaire) was composed of 30 calcium-supplying foods, which surveyed the normal intake amount at one time and the frequency per month. The average daily intake of calcium by the participants (1052.3 mg) was higher than that of the non-participants (772.5 mg) by 279.8 mg, and the major consumed food item contributing to the difference was milk. The major sources of dietary calcium were 'milk' for the participants and 'ice cream' for the non-participants. In a question asking the reasons for participation in the program, 48.8% of the participants answered 'benefits to health', and the primary reason why the nonparticipants did not drink milk at school was 'stomach pain' (55.0%). Among the participants, 80.4% said they 'are drinking milk at home', which was in contrast to only 50.8% of the non-participants. And 48.7% the participants said they drank 'more than 1 cup' of milk at home, and 47.5% of the non-participants said they drank 'less than 1 cup'.
본 연구의 목적은 야외지질학습 환경에서 과학 영재학생들이 학습의 성취를 가능하게 하는 요인들을 분석하는 데 있으며, 이를 위해 2007년도 한국지구과학올림피아드 겨울학교에 참가한 19명의 참가 학생들을 대상으로 야외지질학습에 관한 인식과 태도의 유형을 분석하였다. 야외지질학습에 관한 인식과 태도의 유형을 분석한 결과 인식의 유형은 탐구적 관점에서 경험적 탐구로 이해하고 있으며, 과학철학의 관점에서 인간 중심적 견해와 실증주의적 관점, 그리고 도구주의적 관점으로 이해하고 있었다. 태도의 유형으로 학생들의 겨울학교 참여 목적은 주로 지구과학에 관한 지식 습득에 있었으며, 과학자를 희망 진로로 선택하는 경향은 부모들 보다 학생들에게서 더 높은 경향이 나타났다. 야외지질학습에 관한 학업적 자아개념은 대체로 긍정적으로 나타나며, 긍정적 정서와 부정적 정서를 모두 경험하는 것으로 나타났다.
