        In order to use as a new functional food material, we analyzed the chemical components including the organic compounds, minerals and Vitamin C of cherry and acacia honey which were produced in South Korea. The condensed rate of methanol extraction in honey was 87.51% of cherry honey and it was 93.06% of acacia honey. In the case of cherry honey, main organic compounds that extract by organic solvents in GCMS analysis were trichloromethane, propylcarbinol, methacide, cyclopentane, tetrafinol etc. and main aromatic compounds that extract by organic solvents in SPME analysis were formyl trichloride, propanal, furfurylaldehyde, pyrazole, benzenecarbonal etc. Also, in occasion of acacia honey, main organic compounds were trichloromethan, Acetoxyethane, Hexanaphthene, acetidin etc. and main aromatic compounds were Hydrazomethan, Azulene, Cyclotrisiloxane, Hydrazine etc. Proximate composition was crude protein 0.33%, crude fat 0.15%, crude ash 0.47% in cherry honey and crude protein 0.10%, crude fat 0.44%, crude ash 0.06% in acacia honey. Free sugar that analyze by HPLC was fructose 37.05%, glucose 27.29%, total sugars 64.34% in cherry honey and fructose 48.52%, glucose 24.29%, total sugars 72.81% in acacia honey. Vitamin C was not detected in two sample honeys. Minerals by ICP analysis were detected total 25 kinds in cherry honey, K 9.762 ppm¤Si 5.628 ppm ¤Na 5.096 ppm¤Ca 2.224 ppm etc. and total 22 kinds in sacacia honey, Na 4.527 ppm¤Si 3.420 ppm¤K 3.091 ppm¤Zn 1.482 ppm etc.

        The children of daycare center are sensitive to indoor environmental pollution. This study was a preliminary investigation for improving the environmental and healthy quality of daycare centers. The sampling of sites in daycare centers was undertaken three times such as day-morning (10:00-12:00), afternoon (16:00-20:00), following dawn (04:00-08:00)-at 21 daycare centers located in Seoul, Korea from April, 2012 to July, 2012. The mean concentrations of TVOC were 255.2, 217.0, and 439.4 μg/m3 at morning, afternoon, and following dawn, respectively. The daycare center indoor/outdoor ratios on the most targeted volatile organic compounds were above 1.0 except that for carbon tetrachloride, which was almost 1.0. Significant correlations (p<0.01) were observed between indoor and outdoor carbon tetrachloride, which implies that indoor carbon tetrachloride could be largely accounted for by outdoor sources. The other targeted indoor volatile organic compounds such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, styrene, xylenes, chloroform showed no significant correlations with that of outdoor.

        다성분계 휘발성 유기화합물(VOCs; Volatile Organic Compounds)의 분리를 위하여 상전이법을 이용하여 방사 한 poly (ether imide) (PEI) 중공사 지지체에 poly (dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS)를 코팅하여 중공사 복합막을 제조하였다. VOCs 회수용 중공사막으로서 적합성을 알아보기 위해서 중공사막의 모폴로지, 질소 및 산소 기체 투과도를 측정하고, 벤젠, 톨루엔 그리고 자일렌에 대한 내구성을 조사하였다. 다성분계 휘발성 유기화합물의 효과적인 분리성능을 조사하기 위하여 Stage-cut과 feed 농도에 따른 다성분계 VOCs 투과 성능 변화를 관찰하였다. PEI 지지체 중공사막에 PDMS를 코팅시킴 에 따라 산소와 질소 투과도는 각각 45,000 GPU와 49,450 GPU에서 63 GPU와 30 GPU로 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. VOCs 투과농도는 Stage-cut이 감소함에 따라 증가하나, 회수율은 감소하였다. 반면에 공급농도 증가에 따라 투과농도는 비례적으로 증가하였지만, 농축비나 회수율은 큰 변화가 없었다.

        도장공정에서 발생되는 휘발성 유기화합물의 회수를 위하여 중공사 분리막 모듈을 이용한 공정을 준비하여, 공급 압력과 시간변화에 따른 휘발성 유기화합물의 회수에 대한 특성평가를 실시하였다. 중공사 분리막 모듈을 도장공정에 직접 적용한 결과, 투과된 휘발성 유기화합물의 농도는 투과시간과 압력의 증가됨에 따라 증가되었으며, 단일공정보다 다단공정이 더 우수한 분리성능을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다.

        A bake-out process using auto switchgear was carried out to evaluate the reduction effect of the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde in newly-built apartments for seven days. The reduction rate of VOCs was observed as followings: 19%, 38%, 89%, 90%, and 96% for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, and styrene, respectively, which satisfies at the indoor air quality standards of newly-built apartment houses in Korea. The reduction rate of formaldehyde was 75%. Those results proved that the bake-out process using auto switchgear was effective for reducing indoor air pollutants.

        There has been a growing concern about the emissions of formaldehyde and VOCs from automotive interior materials which could have an important impact on the in-vehicle air quality(IVAQ) of automotive vehicles. Many leading automobile manufacturers have now introduced their own specification standards for testing and limiting emissions from products produced by their suppliers. In addition, ISO (International Standard Organization) has been established ISO 12219-1, 2, 3, 4, 5 to determine the emissions of volatile organic compounds from automotive vehicle. The objective of this paper is to compare the area specific emission rates determined from surface emissions testing using the microchamber(MC) in comparison with a 1 m3 emission test chamber(ETC) operated in accordance with ISO 12219-3, ISO 12219-4. Measured emission concentrations in absolute terms were different between Microchamber and 1 m3 chamber. However, qualitative comparison of the chromatograms shows that the Microchamber is able to perform a screening test

        Low temperature desorption of the used activated carbons that contain VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) produced from Shiwha/Banwal industrial complex were investigated. Iodine number and BET specific surface area of the activated carbons manufactured by N company in China were measured to see their characteristics prior to use in the experiment. Activated carbons were used to adsorb VOCs in a company of Shiwha/Banwal complex. Used activated carbons were collected and desorbed by the desorbing facility. After 1st adsorption and 1st desorption samples were taken for analysis. Desorbed activated carbons were reused in the same company. After 2nd adsorption and 2nd desorption samples were taken again for analysis. 4 samples were analyzed by TGA (Thermogravimetric Analyzer) at 170℃ with a heating rate of 10℃/min. Also, activation energies and reaction orders of desorption reaction were assessed by employing Friedman method and Freeman-Carroll method. The activation energies were 16.86kJ/mol by Friedman method and reaction orders were 0.36∼5.16 by Freeman-Carroll method.

        This study presents residential indoor and outdoor exposure concentrations distributions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs, benzene, toluene, xylene) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in industrial area (case) and agricultural area (control) during 5 days. Concentrations of VOCs and NO2 were measured with passive samplers in residential indoor and outdoor. Most of benzene, toluene and NO2 mean concentrations in case area were higher than those in control area. Considering the indoor and outdoor ratios (I/O) were higher than 1, the residence might be have the sources of indoor air pollutants such as smoking and using of gas range. Residential indoor concentrations of benzene, toluene, and NO2 with indoor smokers were higher than those and without indoor smokers. In conclusion, it is suggested that personal exposures to air pollutants might be affected by indoor sources as well as outdoor pollutants emitted from industrial complex, and indoor air quality and outdoor air quality should be simultaneously considered to reduce the personal exposure to air pollutants.

        21종류의 폴리스티렌 용기를 대상으로 용출조건에 따른 용기내 증류수로 용출되는 5종의 VOCs(톨루엔, 스티렌, 에틸벤젠, 이소프로필벤젠 및 n-프로필벤젠)를 Purge&Trap 장치를 연결하여GC-FID로 분석하였다. 각 표준물질은 1~50 ng/ mL의 농도범위에서 직선성(r2 =0.9976~0.9995)을 나타냈으며, 검출한계는 0.041~0.092 ng/mL, 정량한계는 0.135~0.304 ng/mL 이었다. 용출조건은 첫째, 60oC에서 30분, 둘째, 95oC에서 30분, 셋째, 실생활에서 컵라면 섭취시를 고려하여 끓은 물을 부은 후 뚜껑을 덮고 3분간 유지한 다음 뚜껑을 열고 5분 동안 개방하여 용출시키는 것으로 설정하였다. 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 이소프로필벤젠 및 n-프로필벤젠은 평균용출량이 모든 조건에서 5 ng/mL 이하로 검출되었으며 스티렌의 경우는 60oC에서 평균용출량이 4.02 ng/mL, 95oC에서는 52.71 ng/mL, 컵라면 섭취시의 조건에서는 17.23 ng/mL로 검출되었다.

        푸른 곰팡이병은 그린몰드(green mold)가 그 원인으로 알려져 있으며 이들은 버섯의 종류에 관계없이 발생하 며 균사 생장 시 균상에 발생하여 버섯균의 균사생장을 방해 하거나 기생하여 사멸시키며, 버섯 수확기에 병 해를 발생시킨다. 따라서 본 연구는 버섯 병해의 주범인 그린몰드(green mold)의 생장을 제어하기 위하여 유 기계 화합물이 첨가된 수목추출물과 시판 항균제품에 위한 그린몰드 생장 억제력을 비교 평가하였다. T. aggressivum에 대한 유기계혼합제제는 1000 ppm에서 125 ppm과 비교하였을 때 5배 높은 53%의 항균력이 나타났고 시판 항균 제품에서는 모든 농도에서 100%의 항균활성을 나타냈다. T. atroviride에 대하여 유기계혼 합제제는 250 ppm 농도에서 30%이상의 높은 항균활성이 나타났고, 1000 ppm에서 66%의 항균활성을 나타냈 으며 시판 항균제품은 63 ppm에서 80%, 125 ppm에서 83%의 항균활성을 나타냈다. T. harzianum에 대하여 유기계혼합제제는 1000 ppm 농도에서 56%이상의 높은 항균활성이 나타났고 63 ppm 과 125 ppm 농도에서 19%로 최소저해농도는 63 ppm이라고 판단되었으며 시판 항균제품의 항균활성은 250 ppm부터 1000 ppm 까지 100%의 항균활성을 나타냈지만 125 ppm에서는 항균활성이 81%으로 나타났다. T. koningii에 대하여 유기계혼합제제는 500 ppm 농도에서 Trichoderma 5종 균주 중 가장 높은 43%의 항균활 성을 나타냈으며 1000 ppm에서 68%의 항균활성을 나타냈고 시판 항균제품의 항균활성은 T. harzianum과 마 찬가지로 250 ppm부터 1000 ppm 까지 100%의 항균활성을 나타냈지만 63 ppm에서 항균활성이 90% 로 나타 났다. T. viride에 대하여 유기계혼합제제는 63 ppm 농도에서 13.0%, 1000 ppm농도에서 82%의 항균활성이 나타났 고 250 ppm에서부터 항균활성이 30%로 급격히 증가하였으며 시판 항균제품의 항균활성은 모든 농도에서 100%의 항균활성을 나타냈다. Trichoderma 5종 균주에 대하여 시판 항균 제품은 모든 농도에서 100%의 항균활성을 나타냈고 유기계혼합제 제의 항균활성은 1000 ppm에서 53% - 82%로 가장 효과가 좋다고 판단되며 항균제제로서 산업화 가능성이 있다고 판단된다.

        Esterification reaction between succinic acid and 1,4-butanediol was kinetically investigated in the presence of nontoxic organometallic compound catalyst(ESCAT-100E) at 150-190℃. The reaction rates measured by the amount of distilled water from the reaction vessel. The Esterification reaction was carried out under the first order conditions respect to the concentration of reactants, respectively. The overall reaction order was 2nd. The linear relationship was shown between apparent reaction rate constant and reciprocal absolute temperature. By the Arrhenius plot the activation energy have been calculated as 376.13 kJ/mol under nontoxic organometallic compound catalyst and also apparent reaction rate constant, k' was found to obey first kinetics with respect to the concentration of catalyst.

        Studies on the indoor air quality inside newly producted vehicle have made mainly mention of the concentrations for indoor air pollutants or of subjective symptoms, such as irritated eyes and nose, headache and dizziness. That is, there has been no report about how poor indoor air quality inside newly producted vehicle affects vehicle drivers. We measured the indoor air pollutants inside newly producted vehicle and evaluated the neurobehavioral performance of drivers, using a computerized neurobehavioral test (color word vigilance), between a newly producted and a 11-year-old vehicle. Inside the newly producted vehicle, the formaldehyde concentration with closed window was 19.1㎍/m3. The concentration of VOCs with closed window was 3.9㎍/m3 for benzene, 316.7㎍/m3 for toluene, 20.5㎍/m3 for ethylbenzene, 47.7㎍/m3 for m,p-xylene, 15.1㎍/m3 for o-xylene, and 15.3㎍/m3 for styrene. The neurobehavioral performance of drivers inside newly producted vehicle with the computerized neurobehavioral test was 11.05% lower than that for those inside 11-year-old control vehicle. These results suggest that the poor indoor air quality inside newly producted vehicle affects the neurobehavioral performance of driver and a proper evaluation of the indoor air quality inside newly producted vehicle is required into the health effects of pollutants with objective tool, in addition to the level of pollution.

        버섯의 병해 중에서 가장 방제가 어렵고 버섯의 발생 및 수확에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 푸른 곰팡이병은 그린몰드 (green mold)가 그 원인으로 알려져 있으며 이들은 표고, 느 타리, 양송이, 팽이 등 버섯의 종류에 관계없이 발생된다. 현재 버섯 재배농가에서는 버섯균사생장 기간 동안에 푸 른 곰팡이병의 발생을 억제하기 위하여 버섯배지 살균 전에 균상표면에 벤레이트, 판마쉬, 스포르곤수화제를 1000 ppm 농도로 살포하는 것이 최대의 방제법이다. 따라서 본 연구는 버섯 병해의 주범인 그린몰드(green mold)의 생장을 제어하 기 위하여 1000 ppm 농도로 조제된수목추출물과 시판 유기 계 화합물에 의한 그린몰드 생장 억제력을 비교 평가 하였다. Trichoderma 5종 균주에 대한 유기계혼합제제의 항균활 성은 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합 비율이 증가함에 따라서 높 게 나타났고, 열수추출물보다 시판유기계 화합물의 첨가량 이 높을수록 항균활성이 높게 나타났다. T. aggressivum 에서는 수목추출물의 항균활성이 34.7% 로 나타났지만 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합비율이 증가함 에 따라 항균활성은 46% - 53% 수준으로 높아졌다. T. atroviride 에서는 수목추출물의 항균활성이 35.7%로 나타 났으며 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따라 항 균활성은 55% - 66%로 나타났다. T. harzianum 에서 수목추출물의 항균활성이 34.9%로 나타났고 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따라 43% - 56%의 항균활성을 나타냈다. T. koningii 는 열수추출물에서 31%의 항균활성을 나타냈 으며 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따라 항균 활성은 63% - 68%로 나타냈다. T. viride는 시판유기계 화합물의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따 라 30% - 82%의 항균활성을 나타냈고 Trichoderma 5종 균주 중 가장 높은 항균활성을 나타냈다.

        The airms of this study are to examine the concentrations of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) in hospitals and to compare concentrations of VOCsin hospital with public facilities. Mean concentraton of total volatile organic compounds(TVOCs) in hospital was 103.97±87.39㎍/m3, that was lower than guideline of KMOE. The highest concentration of VOCs in hospital was 19.07±13.47㎍/m3 for Toluene. The distribution of VOCs in hospitals was log-normal distribution. As the result of Monte carlo simulation, the distribution of VOCs in hospitals was log-normal distribution with the exception of Toluene with normal distribution.

        This study was performed to analysis the concentration of TVOC, 5VOC and formaldehyde for building material of total 262 using 20L test chamber. The concentration of TVOC, 5VOC and formaldehyde were measured 1.001㎎/㎡・h, 43.032㎍/㎡・h, 0.012㎎/㎡・h, respectively. TVOC concentration of paint and floor covering occupied the largest concentration of the indoor building materials as 2.689㎎/㎡・h, 2.120㎎/㎡・h, respectively. 5VOC concentration of floor covering was measured 106.636㎍/㎡・h. Toulene and xylene were occupied the largest part of the 5VOC as 51.2% and 33.1%, respectively. The concentration of formaldehyde for furniture materials occupied the largest concentration of the indoor building material as 0.072㎎/㎡h.

        In this study, VOCs originating from vehicles were measured at 8 underground parking lots(two apartments, four department stores, and two large-scale marts) in Daejeon. The indoor air quality at underground parking lots of the department stores and marts was affected by the availability of the ventilation facility and their operation frequency. At the underground parking lots with a ventilation facility, the maximum VOCs concentration was 727㎍/㎥, and the minimum was 73.5㎍/㎥. The average concentration ratio of BTEX to TVOCs at the underground parking lots was almost constant, which was approximately 44.8%. TVOCs and BTEX were strongly correlated with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.88. The relative ratio of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene was 1 : 9.51 : 0.71 : 2.53, directly reflecting the influence of vehicles sources.

        실내 공기는 대기와는 달리 실내 건축 자재에서 유래된 물질로 오염될 수 있다. 본 연구는 실내자재인 카펫에서 방출되는 휘발성 유기화합물의 생물학적 영향을 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 카펫과 자주달개비 BNL 4430 꽃차례를 환경노출시험용기에 넣고 일정시간 노출을 실시하였고 흡착관의 VOCs에 대한 화학분석을 실시하였다. 화학분석결과 카펫에서는 12종의 VOCs가 방출되는 것이 확인되었으며 이중 스틸렌(71.9μg m-3)과 톨루엔(
