        본 고는 국내 최초 극장상영 연쇄극 영화<의리적구투>의 영화사적 가치와 문화적 가치를 반영하여 당시의 영화를 현대적 감각으로 재현하기 위해 활용할 무대의 영상을 기획 연구하였다. 연구에서 오늘날 공연’트렌드(trend)‘와 영화문법을 적용하여 본 공연을 위한 무대 영상제작의 방향성을 제시한다. 공연은 현재 합천’영상테마파크’에 조성된 실내 ‘단성사 극장’과 야외 ‘조선총독부, 경성역’을 무대 공간으로 설정하였다. 실내 단성사 극장 무대에서는 영상과 배우연기, 악기연주, 가수, 변사가 당시 공연을 재현했다. 야외공연에는 조선총독부와 경성역 중 한 곳을 선택하여 극 중 주인공 송산의 영화적 현실과 당시 일제 치하 조선인들의 고달픈 삶과 역사적 사건을 일치시킨 ‘미디어파사드’ 방식의 기호화 영상을 예술적으로 제작하기 위해 기획하였다. 오늘날 뮤지컬공연이나 연극 공연에서 활용되는 무대 영상이 단순히 공연내용의 배경이거나 미학적 영상이었다면, 본 공연의 무대 영상은 영화문법을 반영한 영상으로 한 편의 영화를 공연화 하는 작업이라고 할 수 있다. 다시 말해서 영화적인 영상과 무대 위에서 연기하는 배우가 하나가 되는 공연형식의 영화 영상이라고 말할 수 있다.

As a result,utopia is becoming dystopia. Heading for the future,it would be significant for us to understand deeply the aesthetic cultural phenomena in the development-transition period of China ,transform creatively the excellent traditional Chinese cultural thoughts, absorb foreign civilization ideas, and reconstruct the new social aesthetic culture finally.

        This research analyzedconsumer culture and usage of sugar in modern times based on 12 modern popular Korean cooking books with sugar recipes. Procedures were formed via textual analysis. The outcomes of the study can be summarized in brief statements. According to「Banchandeungsok」,「Booinpilj」, and「Chosunmoossangsinsikyorijebeob」, sugar was utilized in 34 out of 663 or 5.1% of cooked foods during the 1910s to 1920s. According to books such as 「Ganpyounchosunyorijebeob」,「Ililhwalyongsinyoungyangyoribeob」,「Chosun’s cooking of the four seasons」,「Halpaengyoungoo」, 「Chosunyorijebeob」, and 「Required reading for housewife」, sugar was added to 165 out of 998 or 16.5% of cooked foods during the 1930s. According to the books like「Chosunyorihak」,「Chosunyoribeob」, and「Woorieumsik」, sugar was an ingredient in 241 out of 756 or 31.9% of cooked foods during the 1940s. Sugar depicted within the 12 modern popular Korean cooking books primarily functioned as an alternative sweetener, starch, sweet enhancer, preservative, and seasoning. Similar to illustrated sugar from modern popular Korean cooking books, sugar has continually been favored by Korean cooks starting from the 1910s with 5.1% usage, the 1930s with 16.5% usage, and the 1940s with 31.9% usage. Despite its short history, sugar’s culinary importance in Korea has been on the rise ever since the early 1900s. Although sugar is an exotic spice in Korea, it has gained social, cultural, and symbolic recognition as well as practicality within Korean food culture. Thus, it has become more internalized and familiarized as an inseparable sweetness that characterizes current Korean food.

        This study seeks to explore the relationship between clothing adaptation and acculturation for married Chinese immigrant women. In addition, it aims to analyze the differences in their clothing consumption behaviors according to acculturation level. To achieve these purposes, a quantitative research study was conducted on 291 wives of Korean-Chinese multicultural families in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The data was analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and the Duncun test. The findings were as follows. First, the women were divided into three groups based on their level of acculturation, which was defined as ‘assimilated’, ‘marginalized’ and ‘segregated’. Second, the relationship between their acculturation level and their clothing adaptation was identified. The marginalized group had the lowest level of clothing adaptation. Third, the groups’ differences in clothing selection criteria were analyzed. The segregated group considered the practical aspects (price, color, quality) of clothing to be more important than the other groups. The marginalized group scored the lowest in valuing the aesthetic factors (design, style, trendiness) of clothing. Finally, conformity of clothing consumption varied significantly based on acculturation level. The assimilated and marginalized groups showed higher levels conformity than did the segregated group. Clothing purchase location also varied significantly between the three groups. The assimilated and marginalized groups preferred online shopping, but members of the segregated group preferred to carry out their shopping off-line. This study showed that clothing adaptation and clothing consumption behaviors play key roles in understanding the acculturation of multicultural families.

        본 연구는 사회경제적 지위(socioeconomic status: SES)가 문화적 자기효능감에 미치는 직접적인 영향을, 문화예술 콘텐츠 소비향유와 문화예술 지식을 통해 각각 간접적으로 미치는 영향들과 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 사회경제적 지위가 어떤 경로로 통해 문화적 자기효능감을 극대화시킬 수 있는지를 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 전국 단위의 성별·연령별 비례할당에 의한 무작위 표본(N=547) 추출에 근거하여 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 사회경제적 지위는 문화적 자기효능감에 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤을 뿐 아니라, 문화예술 콘텐츠 소비향유와 문화예술 지식을 매개로 하여 문화적 자기효능감에 간접적으로도 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사회경제적 지위가 문화적 자기효능감에 미치는 이들 직간접적인 영향 사이에는 유의미한 크기 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 그러나 사회경제적 지위가 문화예술 콘텐츠 소비향유 활동을 증가시키고, 이것이 문화예술 지식을 높일 경우 문화적 자기효능감은 앞서 직간접적 영향보다 더 크게 증강된다는 사실을 발견하였다. 이는 단순히 사회경제적 지위만으로 문화적 자기효능감이 극대화되지는 않는다는 것을 시사한다. 즉 문화예술 콘텐츠 소비향유 활동과 문화지식의 증가가 같이 수반돼야 한다는 것이다. 끝으로 이론적·현실적 함의를 논의하였다.

        The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of the susceptibility of global consumer culture. As determinants, materialism and self monitoring as psychological variables and fashion clothing product knowledge as clothing-related variable were included. It was hypothesized that both psychological variables and clothing-related variable influence susceptibility of global consumer culture. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul metropolitan area, using convenience sampling, and 311 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing data, exploratory factor analysis using SPSS and confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis using AMOS were conducted. Factor analysis of susceptibility of global consumer culture revealed four dimensions, 'social prestige' factor, 'quality perception' factor, 'conformity to others' factor, and 'conformity to consumption trend' factor. In addition, factor analysis of self monitoring revealed three dimensions, 'center-oriented attention' factor, 'situation-appropriate self-presentation' factor, and 'strategic displays of self-presentation' factor. The results showed that all the fit indices for the variable measures were quite acceptable. In addition, the overall fit of the model suggests that the model fits the data well. Tests of the hypothesized path show that all variables except for the one factor of self monitoring, 'center-oriented attention', and materialism influence all the factors of susceptibility of global consumer culture. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future study are also discussed.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in Korean meat consumption as well as meat consumption trends. During the Japanese occupation period, the supply of meat was considerably insufficient. However, meat consumption mainly in large cities has gradually increased. Especially, 'Pyeongyang cow', a specialty of Pyeongyang, started being raised as edible beef cattle in 1933. During the chaotic period following liberation from Japan, the price of meat sharply increased. However, as the meat supply stabilized, the 'beef grade system' was introduced in 1967. Since then, beef has sold according to region. During the early economic growth period of the mid-1970s, meat consumption rapidly increased, and foreign beef was first imported in 1976. The preference for beef was somewhat attenuated due to the outbreak of mad cow disease and economic slowdown of the 1990s, resulting in an increase in the consumption of pork, a replacement meat. During the recent period of economic development, meat consumption has somewhat fallen and remained low. In late 2003, with the occurrence of mad cow disease in the US, the demand for pork, and especially pork fatback, has sharply increased.

        아르헨티나 루한의 소비자보호절차는 법원에 의한 재판이 아니라, 특수한 중재절차에 의한다. 이 과정은 5개월 이내의 신속한 해결이 강제된다. 그리고 국가, 도, 시마다 각각 중재의 과정들이 효율적으로 마련되어 있어서 소비자들에게 큰 도움이 되고 있다. 대부분의 사람들을 직접 만나서 인터뷰를 한 결과, 중재 결과에 매우 만족한다는 응답을 듣게 되었다. 다만, 이런 좋은 제도가 홍보가 부족하기에 시민들에게 더 넓은 홍보와 교육을 하는 것이 앞으로의 과제로 남아있다. 특히, 법적인 시스템이 잘 미치지 않는 소외된 지역의 사람들에게도 이러한 효율적인 시스템이 잘 전파되어 보편적으로 사용될 수 있기를 희망한다. 이러한 제도적 마련은 아르헨티나 전체의 민주주의 발전에도 도움이 되리라 믿는다. 나아가, 현재의 소비자보호 시스템을 보완해 나가는 과정도 필요하다. 현재 많은 국민이 이 중재시스템을 모르는 상태이나, 이용해 본 사람들의 만족도는 매우 높기에 국가가 나서서 적극적인 계몽과 홍보를 해야 하는 부분이다. 아르헨티나가 사법절차에 대한 신뢰도가 낮은 점에 비추어 이 제도가 정착함으로써 가지는 사회적 가치와 의미는 클 것이다. 결국 그 성패는 교육에 달렸다고 할 것이다.

        Alden, Steenkamp and Batra(1999)의 7개국에 걸친 연구에서 글로벌 소비자 문화 포지셔닝이 광고의 브랜드 포지셔닝 전략으로 의미가 있다는 것으로 밝혀졌지만 실제 국내 소비자를 대상으로 이러한 포지셔닝 전략의 효과에 대한 연구는 거의 찾아보기 어려웠다. 따라서, 본 연구는 국내 소비자를 대상으로 글로벌 소비자 문화 포지셔닝 전략이 제품평가(지각된 품질, 가격, 브랜드 명성)와 광고에 대한 태도에 미치는 효과를 실증적으로 분석하여, 정(+)의 효과를 미친다는 것을 밝혀냈다. 또한 소비자의 자민족 중심주의와 제품지식 그리고 제품특성(내구재 대 비내구재)이 글로벌 소비자 문화 포지셔닝의 효과에 미치는 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 자민족 중심주의가 약한 소비자일수록, 제품 지식이 낮은 소비자일수록 그리고 비내구재보다 내구재에서 글로벌 소비자 문화 포지셔닝의 효과가 크다는 것이 밝혀졌다.

        This study investigated women's magazines and women's food consumption stories of the 1950/s. That is, it attempted to comprehend the connection between the public and private aspects of food consumption as discussed in the 1950's. The public aspect of culture was investigated using the women's magazine "Yeo-won" which reflected the social and intellectual hegemony of the time. The private aspects of culture were investigated by reviewing the daily life of women though in-depth interviews. Mass media reflected the social and intellectual hegemony and indicated that a cultivated woman who supported western food was a wise mother and a good wife, and that a woman who consumed flour-based food was a reasonable and modern consumer, ahead of her time The admiration for the U.S. and its advanced civilization through free handouts of flour and powdered milk accelerated the consumption of industrialized flour-based foods such as noodles, hardtack, and steamed bread. This lead to the rigid traditional food-eating habits of boiled rice, and side dishes changed to flour-based and processed foods. That is, food represented a cultural identity.

        1990년대 중반이후 한국의 문화산업콘텐츠 수출이 증대되는 "한류" 현상이 대두되어 세계적인 주목을 받기 시작하였다. 그러나 전통적인 문화산업 무역이론은 이러한 후발국으로부터 문화상품의 수출을 설명하지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 Becker의 소비자본이 기호의 형성에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 생산성의 향상에 기여하는 인적자본으로서의 속성을 지니고 있다는 점을 이용하여 문화산업에서 후발국의 "기술추격"을 합리화하는 이론모델을 제시하고 있다(rationalize), 본 연구는 공식모델의 비교정태 분석을 통하여 문화산업에서 후발국의 "기술추격"을 가능하게 하는 조건들을 설명하고 있다.

        This study was conducted to evaluate changes in food consumption during the 1950's on the basis of articles that reflected national policy and changes in society during that time period. Many factors are involved in the development and changes in food consumption culture, and these factors can affect each other. As a result, the process involved in the development of food consumption culture acts as a living system. This study evaluated the food consumption culture during the 1950's because this period was subjected to obvious influences that may explain the modern food consumption market logic and commercialism. Changes in the national food consumption are dependent on natural changes such as income enlargement or cultural exchange with a foreign country. Accordingly, food consumption during the 1950's was influenced by changes in economical, social, and political needs. In addition, the influx of surplus agricultural products from the United States had an adverse effect on local agriculture and resulted in an increased external dependence on food during the 1950s. Moreover, the import of raw materials and simple manufacturing techniques led to the development of an industrial food processing industry that enabled accelerated mass production of food at a low-price. Furthermore, the importation of surplus agricultural products from the United States that were used as the raw materials for foods that had traditionally been produced domestically led to an increased burden and qualitative decline in the local food-service industry. Taken together, the results of this study indicate that during the 1950's fresh food began to be replaced with processed foods in Korea.

        This study attempts to examine the differences of consumption cultures between Korean and China by analysing the consumption life style.<BR> This study extracts clothing habits, eating habits and shopping patterns from consumption life style and distributes 588 questionnaires to university students of Korea and China.<BR> The analysis results are as follows:<BR> There are no differences of fashion orientation and convenience orientation about clothing habits, planned buying orientation, impulsive buying orientation and new product buying orientation about shopping patterns between Korea and China. But there are differences of personality orientation about clothing habits, healthy food orientation and convenience food orientation about eating habits, famous brand buying orientation, internet buying orientation and environment protection product buying orientation about shopping patterns between Korea and China.<BR> The results offer suggestions to international marketers that different marketing strategy is very necessary according to different consumption cultures.

        The purpose of this study was to understand current food consumption phenomena in the context of Korea's consumption culture and economy. For this purpose, food consumption phenomena and the underlying meaning of consumption culture were investigated. The study indicated that current food consumption phenomena were characterized by increased eating habits away from home, consuming more fast food and processed foods, westernized diet, eager for taste, and overwhelming well-being products, which could result in environmental problems as well as malign physical and mental defects. It was argued that current food consumption phenomena had been mainly affected by the commercial food industry and consumers' cultural consideration. Finally, this paper discussed several approaches to motivate consumers' awareness and how to change their food consumption culture, and further government policy efforts.

        We conducted a survey on Japanese women's consciousness of food culture and their traditional food consumption by self filling-out questionnaire during January, 2000 for the period of a month, For the survey we selected 250 women residing in Kyoto, Japan. For the statistic work we used SAS package system, and t-test, X2-test and Duncan's multiple range test were also used to verify the results significance. The purpose of this survey lies in gathering a basic data on the comparative direction of Korean and Japanese women's food culture in the future 1. Comparing the preferred food purchase place, In case of Korean women, traditional market was comparatively more preferred while Japanese women relatively preferred convenience store (p〈0.001). 2. In case of Japanese women, they answered there is no difference from ordinary days on New Year's Day (71%) and Christmas (40%) while 38% answered they prepare food at home. 40% said they prepare food on parents-in-law's birthday, and 41% said no difference from ordinary days. 52% said they prepare food at home on husband's birthday. For their own birthday, 32% said yes to preparing food at home while 45% said no difference and 22.3% said eating out. For children's birthday 65% said preparing at home, 16.3% said no difference and 14.9% said eating out. 3. Comparing the conception on traditional food, Korean women answered 'complicated' (77%) most while 'simple' (5%) least, which indicates their demands for simplified recipes. In case of Japanese women, 'complicated' (44%) was most while 'scientific' (6%) was least which indicates their demands for scientific way of recipes. There were differences shown by age (p〈0.001) and the older the more said 'simple' or 'logical' (p〈0.01). 4. As the reason for the complicity of traditional food recipes, Koreans said 'too many hand skill' (60%) most while 'too many spices' (8%) least. For Japanese, 'various kind of the recipe' (55%) was most while 'too many hand skill' (7%) was least. There were significant differences shown by academic background (p〈0.01) and income(p〈0.01), and the lower the academic background, the more said 'too many spices' as the reason for the complicity in making traditional food. Generally, the lesser the income, the more tendency to say 'various kinds of the recipe'. 5. In case of Koreans, 'the recipe is difficult' (56%) was high while 'uninterested' (9%) was low in answer which showed differences by academic background (p〈0.05), and in case of Japanese, 'no time to cook' (44%) was high while 'uninterested' (7%) was low. 6. The following is the reasons for choosing traditional food as a snack for children. In case of Koreans, they answered as 'traditional food' (34%), 'made from nutrious and quality materials' (27%), 'for education' (22%) and 'suites their taste' (17%) revealing 'traditional food' is highest. In case of Japanese, it was revealed in the order of 'made from nutrious and quality materials' (36.3%), 'traditional food' (25.2%), 'suites their taste' (22.6%), 'for education' (12.8%) and 7. Comparing the most important thing for the popularization of traditional food in the world, Koreans answered 'taste and nutrition' (45%) most while 'shape and color' (6%) least. In case of Japanese, 'taste and nutrition' (75%) was answered most while 'hygienic packaging' (4%) was least. Both considered 'taste and nutrition' as most important thing for the popularization of traditional food in the world. 8. In case of Koreans, they answered they learn how to make traditional food 'from mother' (47%), 'media' (18%), 'school' (15%), 'from mother-in-law' (14%), 'private cooking school' (4%) and 'close acquaintances' (2%). In case of Japanese, they said mostly learn 'from mother', but it was also shown that the lower the academic background the lesser the tendency of learning 'from mother' but 'from school' (p〈0.001). 9.         Korean and Japanese have accustomed themselves to eating rice (Oriza Sativa Japonica) with soup. In the formation of soup culture, Japanese has classified soups on the viewpoint of visual sensation. On the other hand, Korean has classified soups on the viewpoint of time. The new 'Japanese Tasi' culture has slowly infiltrated into the traditional 'Korean Tang' culture for a century.         Purpose – It is well known that chemyon, referred to by Westerners as face, naturally penetrates the daily life of Asians and influences their cognition, emotion, and behavior. Studies related to chemyon have been conducted in marketing and consumer behavior fields (e.g., luxury products or brands, service failure and recovery, brand preferences, consumer decision making, wedding ceremony, gift giving). A bulk of studies demonstrate that chemyon influences consumption behavior in Asian consumers. Although chemyon significantly influences consumption behavior of Asian consumers, it is also a cultural phenomenon that is not completely explained within the Western viewpoint. Whereas a number of researchers have approached cross-cultural studies of Asian and Western consumers, a limited number of studies have examined it from the perspective of chemyom. The purpose of this study is to compare the phenomenon that chemyon (face) not only affects the consumption behavior of Asia and the West universally (pan-culturally), but also distinctively (culture-specifically). That is, the purpose of this study is to describe that chemyon (face) is not only a culture-specific phenomenon but also a universal phenomenon in the consumption behavior of Asian and Western consumers, even though the extent that chemyon (face) impacts consumption behavior is differentiated. This study aims to understand commonalities and differences between Asian and Western consumption behavior in terms of chemyon (face), and to suggest how to enhance marketing effectiveness in a global market based on understanding the consumption behavior of Asia and the West. Research design, data, and methodology – Using systematic literature review and meta-analysis, this study investigates consumption behavior of Asian and Western consumers from the perspective of chemyon (face). Systematic literature review was used to compare face (chemyon) consumption of Western consumers with that of Asian consumers. To verify systematic literature review, meta-analysis was also accomplished. Results – First, the influence of face (chemyon) on consumption behavior is observed in Western consumers as well as Asian consumers. Second, Asian consumers are more influenced by face (chemyon) than Western consumers. Conclusions – Overall, chemyon (face) can affect the consumption behavior of Asians as well as the consumption behavior of Westerners.

        본 연구는 외국인 소비자의 소비생활 만족도와 매체이용 행태에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과 국내 거주하는 외국인의 소비자 만족도는 소비생활 만족도가 불만족도 보다 약 30% 이상 높게 나타나서 국내 거주 외국인 소비자의 소비생활 만족도는 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다. 구체적인 소비생활 불만족 원인 연구 결과 가장 큰 불만족 원인으로는 언어소통 어려움, 정보 부족, 경제력 부족, 외국인에 대한 배려가 없음, 문화적 차이 어려움, 피해, 불만처리 미흡 순으로 나타났다. 이는 외국인으로서 가지는 원천적인 문제, 즉 언어소통 어려움, 외국인에 대한 배려, 문화적 차이 등을 제외하고는 정보와 경제력 부족이라는 불만이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 국내 거주 하는 외국인 소비자의 일반적인 정보를 얻는 데 사용하는 매체에 대한 연구 결과 인터넷이 압도적으로 높았고 TV, 신문, 라디오, 잡지 순으로 나타났다. 외국인 소비자가 제품에 대한 정보를 얻는 정보원에 대한 연구 결과 매체를 통해 정보를 습득하는 경우가 가장 높았고 지인, 가족 , 자신의 경험, 외국인 모임이나 단체, 외국인용 안내책자 순으로 나타났다. 그러나 매체를 제외하고는 본인을 포함한 가족이나 지인을 통해 얻는 비중이 높아 외국인 소비자의 경우 제품에 대한 정보는 본인을 포함한 인적 네트워크에 의존하는 경향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 외국인 소비자가 제품에 대한 정보를 얻는 매체에 대한 연구 결과 인터넷이 가장 높았고 TV, 신문, 라디오, 잡지 순으로 나타났다.
