This study was carried out to evaluate the characteristics of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and aldehydes emission as a function of airtight time in new apartment. Sampling was undertaken at 34 new apartments located in 4 different cities of Korea from February to November 2005. The measurement data were collected every one hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. toward increasing airtight time in a day. The concentrations of VOCs and aldehydes were analysed by GC/MS and HPLC method, respectively. These methods showed good sensitivity, linearity, and repeatability. In this study, the most abundant compounds at new apartments appeared to be toluene, m,p-xylene, formaldehyde and acetone. Moreover, the concentration variations at a closed rooms progressively increased by airtight time of 5 hours. Airtight time of new apartment was a most important and affective factor which influenced concentration change.

토마토 펄라이트 자루재배에서 배지종류별 유효수분 함량을 분석하여 관수안정성을 구명하고, 배지 내 수분이 시간의 경과 및 일사량에 따라 변해가는 양상을 조사함으로써 타이머 제어시 관수 전략을 수립하고자 실험을 수행하였다. 5단 수확이 끝난 토마토 6그루가 심겨져 있는 40L 크기의 펄라이트 배지를 배양액으로 포수시킨 후 배지 내 수분감소를 무게로 측정하였다. 배지 내 수분이 감소함에 따라 일중 무게 변화량도 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다. 무게 감소가 계측된 시간에서 다음으로 무게 감소가 계측된 시간까지 걸리는 시간 간격을 볼 때, 일중 최장 무게 변화와 흡수속도가 모두 점차 늦어지는 현상이었다. 즉, 수분스트레스에 의해 식물활력의 회복이 일출 후 점차 느려지는 것으로 나타났다. 실험에 사용한 배지의 경우 유효수분량은 30% 정도로 12kg이므로 배지의 수분보수력은 토마토의 수분 요구도를 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 실험에서와 같은 상황일 경우 일일적산일사량이 1,519W/m2 혹은 601W/m2일 때, 관수를 하루에 5회 혹은 10회 타이머를 이용하여 공급할 경우의 적정 시간을 도출했다.

자기 유사성(self-similarity)은 다양한 네트워크 환경에서 공통적으로 발생하는 현상인 것으로 정체 제어에서 자기 유사성 트래픽의 장거리 상관 구조를 활용할 가능성과 MTS(Multiple Time Scale) 정체 제어의 프레임워 크를 발전시켜, 이 프레임워크가 전송 율 기반 피드백 제어의 성능을 향상시키는 데 시뮬레이션을 통해 트래 픽 조건으로 다음과 같이 연구한다. 자기유사성 트래픽 조건에서 3가지 단계로 구성한다. 먼저 TCP의 모듈 형 확장에서 Tahoe, Reno, Vegas등 다양한 버전의 TCP에 적용되는 간단한 인터페이스를 통한 함수 호출을 정의하고, 이것이 성능을 크게 향상시는 것을 입증한다. 두 번째로, 광대역 WAN에서 지연-대역폭의 곱이 높을 경우 더욱 심각해지는 사후 제어의 불확실성 차이를 해소함으로써 MTS TCP가 기반 피드백 제어에 사전성 을 부여한다는 것을 입증한다. 세 번째는 트래픽 제어의 3가지 차원인, 즉 추적 능력, 연결 지속 기간, 공정성 이 성능에 미치는 영향 등을 비교 분석하여 입증한다.

이 논문에서 소개되는 실시간 하이브리드 실험 시스템은 유사동적실험법을 근거로 하고 있으며, 실제 실험과수학적 모델을 이용한 수치해석을 결합한 실험법이다. 이 시스템은 종래의 유사동적해석법에 비해 지진하중을 받는 구조물의 실시간 반응에 근접하는 현저히 높은 하중재하 속도를 고려할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 또한 다자유도 구조물에 대해 안정적인 해석환경을 제공하기 위해 이 시스템은 implicit 시간적분법을 이용하여 수치해석을 수행한다. 이 논문은 연구를 통해 개발된 시스템의 전반적인 개요와 구성요소 그리고 이 시스템에서 사용하는 수치 해석법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 수행된 수치해석을 소개한다. 연구 결과 개발된 시스템에 적용된 수치해석법은 성능이 매우 우수하다는 것이 증명되었다.

목적 : 편마비 환자에서 손상된 대뇌반구의 동측은 정상으로 인식되었으나 운동장애가 있음이 보고되고 있다. 본 연구는 편마비 환자의 동측 상지를 이용한 연속반응시간과제에서 동측운동결함 여부를 정상군과 비교 관찰하였다. 연구방법 : 편마비 환자 18명(오른쪽 편마비 10명, 왼쪽 편마비 8명)을 대상으로 손상된 대뇌반구의 동측 손가락을 이용한 연속반응시간과제를 수행하는 동안 환자군과 연령과 성별이 일치하는 정상군 18명과 비교하여 반응시간을 분석하였다. 연속반응시간과제는 구획설계와 무작위설계로 구성하였고 자극은 4가지 색깔(빨강, 노랑, 초록, 파랑)의 원모양이 하나씩 연속적으로 컴퓨터 모니터에 제시되었고, 연구대상자는 일련의 자극과 색깔이 일치하는 반응패드의 버턴을 가능한 빠르고 정확하게 누르도록 하여 반응시간을 측정하였다. 각 설계단위 당 10회 반복하는 것을 1블록으로 설정하여 총 3블록을 수행하였고, 수집된 자료는 이원분산분석으로 통계 처리하였다. 결과 : 구획설계와 무작위설계 모두에서 집단간 주효과 검증결과 집단 간에는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 관찰되었다(p<0.001). 그러나 오른손·왼손간 주효과 검증결과 및 집단×왼쪽·오른쪽간 상호작용에는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다(p>0.001). 결론 : 환자군에서 연속반응시간과제의 반응시간이 정상군보다 느리게 나타나 편측 대뇌반구 손상으로 인한 편마비 환자의 동측 상지에 동측운동결함이 발견되었다.

본 연구는 융합 전 수핵란의 활성화 처리 유무와 활성화 처리 시간이 소 체세포 유래 핵이식란의 체외 발육능에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위해 수행하였다. 소 체외성숙란의 탈핵 후 체세포 핵을 이식하고 일부는 전기 융합 후 활성화를 유기하였고(pre-AC), 일부는 먼저 활성화 처리 후 융합을 실시(post-AC)하였다. 난자의 활성화는 Ca2+-ionophore(A23187)로 처리 후 DMAP로 4시간 배양하는 방법으로 유기하였다. 핵이식란은 CR1aa액에서 9일간 배양하여 발육율을 검토하였으며, 활성화 후 30분～2.5시간에 고정하여 confocal microscope 하에서 핵형 변화를 검사하였다. 배반포기까지 발육율은 post-AC구(20.6%)가 pre-AC(15.3%)보다 다소 높게 나타났다. 또한 활성화 처리를 하여 핵이식란의 배 발달을 비교한 결과 post-AC구가 더 늦은 배 발달 속도를 나타내었다. Post-AC구를 활성화 후 30분, 2시간, 4시간으로 나누어 융합하여 발육율을 검토한 결과 발육율에 차이가 없었다. 본 연구의 결과는 수핵란의 활성화 시간에 따라 핵이식란의 발육 및 핵형이 영향을 받을 수 있음을 시사한다.

Colin Rowe's 'Transparency' is one of core ideas applied to 20th Modern Architecture. It implies not only an optical characteristic, the perfectly clear, but also a broader spacial order, a simultaneous perception of different spacial locations. The former connected with physical attribute itself, and the latter deeply with the metaphorical idea of time, 'Simultaneity', embodying a new spacial quality. However, If we analyze the meaning of "Simultaneity" implicated in "Transparency" with the perspective of Henry Bergson's "Duration", there would be only little possibility as a solution to the problem of embodying a new spacial quality in architecture. As such a question emerging, this paper attempts to point out the problem of Colin Rowe's idea, "Simultaneity", and suggest a new architectural design method to overcome its inconsistency by interpretation and application of Bergson's "Image and Rhythm".

However, there is some similarity in that they introduce the subjects of circulation of life and eternal life. Yeats shows the passage of time by the Great Wheel or gyre which develops in the course of formation, fullness, decline. And Keats also presents the passage of time by using the phrases such as “swell the gourd,” “plum the hazel shell,” “warm day will never cease.” These symbolize swelling and continuance of time. So we can find the way how time is flowing in their poems. In Yeats's “Sailing to Byzantium,” time travels from a youth to an old age, and in “To Autumn,” time travels from summer to autumn. In this circulation Yeats's immortality can be reached by the media of art. And Keats gets it by the circulation of seasons. So one continues to voyage with eagerness for Byzantium in which he could find his everlasting life through the mosaic of 15th century, and the other comfortably waits for next seasons. Two poets respectively develop their poems in different ways, but they finally achieve the same subjects of ever-lasting life in the passage of time. In conclusion, Yeats pursued immortality by separating spirit from the body, because the flesh would be decayed. On the other hand, Keats thought that the immortality could be acquired by being one with time. Unlike Yeats's “Sailing to Byzantium”, Keats's “To Autumn” has a tendency to keep harmony and reconciliation, instead of confrontation. Therefore, autumn enjoys “sitting,” and “asleep” without haste.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of hip extension velocity (7.5 degree/second, 30 degree/second) on the relative onset time of the gluteus maximus in relation to the hamstring during hip extension in prone position. Thirteen healthy male subjects (mean age=22.6 years [SD=1.8], mean weight=73.4 kg [SD=10.3], mean height=176.1 cm [SD=6.3]) voluntarily participated in this study. Electromyographic data was collected on the gluteus maximus and hamstring to determine onset time. Statistical analyses were performed with the paired t-test. The results showed that the onset time of the hamstring was significantly faster than that of the gluteus maximus in both fast and slow hip extension velocity. The gluteus maximus began contraction .079 seconds later following the contraction of the hamstring. The onset time of the hamstring was significantly faster in fast hip extension velocity compared with slow hip extension velocity. In conclusion, it was determined that the onset time of the gluteus maximus was faster with fast hip extension velocity compared with slow hip extension velocity. There was a statistically significant difference between the onset times of the gluteus maximus and hamstring in relation to the two velocities (p<.05). Further study is needed to examine whether the velocity of hip extension can influence the onset time in a similar fashion in patients with low back pain.

소뼈의 효과적인 이용을 위하여 사골뼈와 갈비뼈의 가열시간에 따른 칼슘, 인, 마그네슘, 단백질, 총 유리 아미노산, 콜라겐 등의 영양성분 측정과 관능검사를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 12시간 까지 가열할 경우, 조리시간이 경과할수록 고형물, 칼슘, 인, 마그네슘, 단백질, 총 유리아미노산, 콜라겐 함량은 점점 증가하였으며 12시간 가열에서 가장 높았으며, 이와 같은 영양성분이 사골뼈 보다 갈비뼈에서 조금 높게 용출되었다. 12시간 끓인 시료에 식염 0.8%를 첨가하여 관능 검사를 실시한 결과 색, 향기, 맛, 종합적인 맛에서 갈비뼈 시료가 사골뼈 시료보다 높은 기호도를 나타냈다. 이상의 결과들로부터 사골뼈와 갈비뼈를 12시간 가열함으로써 칼슘과 마그네슘 등 영양성분이 가용화되기 쉬우며, 사골뼈와 갈비뼈의 영양성분과 맛이 우수하므로 다양한 이용과 개발을 시사하였다.
