This study examined the relative effect of participative and assigned goal setting on team performance. Participants were 30 college students and their typing speed was tested. They were ordered on the basis of the typing speed and were divided into 15 pairs, with the members of each pair having similar typing speed. Members in each pair were randomly assigned to the two experimental conditions. Participants were asked to type materials provided by the experimenter for 20 days. The dependent variable was the number of words typed. The results showed that there was no significant difference in performance between the two conditions. The results also showed that the difference in trend between two conditions was not statistically significant.

The users who use the wheelchair are confined to a wheelchair for a long time. Accordingly, the use of seat cushion for pressure distribution is very important in order to prevent a bedsore. Therefore, this paper provides useful information for design of seat cushion through statistical testing among nothing cushion, low cell type of air cushion, high cell type of air cushion, and jelly type of air cushion. It turned out that the jelly type and high cell type of air cushion have a serious effect on decision and design of seat cushion.

Gas turbines generating power operate in high temperature condition and use natural gas as fuel. For that reason, there are many cases where damage is done to the hot gas parts caused by the high temperature and many accidents occur like gas explosions, then various efforts are needed to maintain the hot gas parts and prevent accidents. It is difficult to find the root causes of damage to the hot gas parts from the gas explosion caused by gas leakage through rotor cooling air line from fuel gas heat exchanger during the shut down. To prevent gas turbine from damage, removal of gas leakage inside of gas turbine is required by purging the turbine before firing, improving the fuel gas heating system and installing alarm systems for detecting gas leakage from stop valve to turbine while the gas turbine has shut down.

Cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a major cause of deaths among workers as well as in general population in Korea. Occupational stress like long working hours or overwork can cause sudden unexpected death in a worker who had been suffering from an aggravated preexisting condition such as hypertensive or arteriosclerotic diseases, The Korean government has compensated the cases of cerebrovascular disease and cardiovascular disease due to overwork, but neither a resonable definition of overwork nor detailed evaluation guideline has been officially provided to verify overwork, so that the prevention of, as well as compensation for workers' occupational stress-related cardiovascular attacks, cannot be carried out efficiently. A thorough understanding of the etiopathology of WR-CVDs can be very helpful in developing a prevention strategy.

Risk level for each construction work can be very important factors to establish advanced preventionmeasures. But it is important how to produce it. There are three different methods to set it up for consturuction situation. They are as follows; 1) occurrence frequency = the number of accident workers of each work kind / yearly accident workers 2) occurrence frequency = the number of accident workers of each work kind / yearly workers 3) occurrence frequency = the number of accident workers of each work kind / the total workers All these three concepts(=averaged concept)are analyzed. Additionally frequency based on discrete curve, and severity based on continuous curve are also combined for producing risk level with more scientific approach. This risk level can be very useful to make prevention plan or take measures at construction sites. This is study result can change existing risk level concept to new concept of it, namely rail way work and in-water work showed be high risk level and RC work be low risk level, different from the situation which we have thought commonly, so far.

항공물류 분야의 개선을 위해 공항에서 연구와 투자를 통하여 공항 선진화를 이루고 있고, 우리나라도 지속적으로 증가하는 항공물류 분야의 개선이 필요하다고 인식하고 개선을 위한 방안을 연구하고 있지만, 항공물류 전반에 걸쳐 통합적인 개선이 이루어지지 않고 개별적이거나 부분적인 시스템 개선으로 중복 투자와 비효율성의 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 현행 항공물류 프로세스를 수 출입으로 구분하여 분석하였고, 시스템 통합 사례들을 검토하여 프로세스 상에서 발생하는 문서들을 분석하였다. 이중 인터페이스 대상 문서를 선정하고 문서의 데이터 내용과 형식을 정의하였다. 정의한 데이터의 형식을 대상 문서에 코드로 적용시키고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 데이터 저장량을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 항공물류 이해관계자간의 정보 교환이 용이해지고 동일한 정보를 재생성하거나 재가공하는 비효율성을 감소시킬 것으로 기대된다.

EPCIS(EPC Information Service)시스템은 EPC기반의 정보교환을 목표로 EPC global Network 상에서 RFID 태그에 기록된 화물의 EPC데이터, 인식시점, 인식장소 등의 정보를 제공하는 EPCglobal Architecture Framework의 구성요소 중 핵심부분이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 EPCIS 시스템의 구성요소 중 동시에 수많은 RFID 단말기로부터 입력되는 대용량의 EPCIS Event 데이터를 지속적으로 저장하고 관리하는 EPCIS Repository를 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 고성능이 필요한 데이터와 대용량이 필요한 데이터를 모두 처리할 수 있는 Hybrid DBMS를 적용하여 EPCIS Repository를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

일반적으로 물류센터에서는 많은 작업이 발생하고, 처리되는 물품 또한 그 수량이 매우 많아서 작업 제품 정보들을 빠르고 정확하게 처리하기 위해서는 많은 비용이 발생한다. 이러한 오류를 줄이고, 실시간 정보처리, 객체의 가시성 확보, 제품 이력 추적 등의 이점을 얻기 위해 RFID 기술을 도입하는 기업들이 증가하는 추세이며, 최근에는 RFID를 활용하여 전 세계적으로 표준화된 단일 네트워크를 만들고자 하는 EPC Global Network에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 EPC Global Network의 게이트웨이 역할을 하는 EPCIS에서, 정보의 저장소 역할을 하는 EPCIS Repository의 최적화에 대해 연구한다. 실제 물류 센터에서 발생하는 비즈니스 프로세스를 바탕으로 시나리오를 작성하고, 물류센터의 시나리오에 따라 발생되는 EPC 데이터를 DRDBMS와 MMDBMS를 통해 각각 저장하고 검색하여 두 DBMS의 성능을 비교하였다. DRDBMS는 MS-SQL을 사용하였고, MMDBMS는 ALTIBASE를 사용하였다. 실험 결과 AlTIBASE가 MS-SQL보다 좋은 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

Recently, industrial business environments have rapidly changed and face severe competitive challenges. The effective inventory system enables to product and deliver the products quickly for meeting due date of customer's order in this environment. This study have developed a web-based inventory system framework using RFID for a plastic injection molding industry. The system analysis inventory problem issues such as inventory planning, warehouse assignment. In this study, web-based inventory system using Java language is proposed and implemented. As the result of implementation of the system, we expected that it manages to inventory planning continually and systematically.
