본 연구에서는 연료극 또는 공기극에 함유된 불순물인 황화합물의 도입을 차단할 수 있는 GDL을 제조하여, 이를 평가용 단위전지에 체결하여 H2S와 SO2를 연료극과 공기극에 각각 동시에 공급하여 PEMFC의 성능 저하 및 회복에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과 H2S와 SO2의 농도가 증가함에 따라 전지의 성능이 감소하며 특히 10 ppm 이상의 농도에서는 10분 이내에 약 10-15% 정도 성능이 감소하였다. 특히 GDL 표면의 기공이 없는 CN-2 GDL을 체결한 단위전지의 경우 피독에 의한 성능 감소 속도가 더 빠른 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 단위전지 피독 후 황화합물이 혼합되지 않은 순수 가스를 1시간 이상 공급하였을 때 전지의 성능이 GDL의 종류에 따라 90%에서 95% 이상 회복되며 CN-1 GDL의 경우가 가장 회복이 우수하였다.

이 연구에서는 친환경 선박용 재료로 각광받는 탄소나노물질에 대하여 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 탄소나노물질의 합성을 위한 열원으로서는 대향류 메탄 화염을 이용하였다. 탄소나노물질 합성을 위한 촉매로서는 페로센을 사용하였다. 합성 특성을 파악하기 위한 주요 파라메타로는 대향류 메탄 화염에 수소의 혼합 비율과 샘플링 위치를 변화시켰다. 탄소나노물질의 성향은 SEM과 TEM 이미지를 이용하여 결정되었다. 실험 결과로서는 수소의 혼합 비율이 증가할수록 탄소나노물질의 생성이 잘 이루어졌다. 또한 대향류 메탄 확산화염 내 탄소나노튜브의 생성을 위한 적정 온도로는 1500 K 정도가 적당하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This research is to improve the cultural-welfare of seniors by vitalizing the limited cultural-contents area and letting them overcome feeling of being left out and of lethargy through development of indoor functional Gateball system. This system makes it possible for senior people enjoy Gateball regardless of space or weather, the disadvantages of outdoor Gateball, and the game is identical to outdoor games and even it has on-line game function s well. The indoor Gateball is safe for seniors to play and the required physical power is just reasonable for seniors. It also has good for preventing dementia and recreational system.

Computerized dementia-prevention training program is the cognition training program to improve and maintain cognitive function for the middle aged and the old. The program consists of many different types of training program based on categorization of complex cognition area. It is basically a self training program with a type games for people with MCI (Mild Cognition Impairment) and for normal people as well. Then this program should be validated by a group of experts for the uniqueness compared to other cognition training games.

우리나라의 남부 해안지방의 상록수림 아래에서 자 생하는 새우난초(Calanthe discolor)의 생육과 개화에 알맞은 광도를 규명하기 위하여 자연광조건과 차광율 을 94%, 80%, 71%, 58% 그리고 32% 수준으로 조 절한 차광조건 아래에서 2년간 재배하면서 생장과 개 화반응을 조사하였다. 그 결과 자연광 조건인 양지쪽에 서는 잎에 황화현상과 갈반현상이 나타났고 때로는 고 사하였다. 엽장과 엽폭은 광도가 낮아질수록 증가되었 는데 특히 71% 이상의 차광구부터 뚜렷하게 증가되었 으며 잎의 엽록소 함량은 광도가 낮아짐에 따라서 증 가되었으나 생체중은 58% 차광구에서 가장 무거웠고 화경당 착화수는 차광율 71%와 80% 조건에서 많았 다. 한편 개화시기는 차광정도가 심해질수록 지연되었 다. 종합적으로 고려해 볼 때 새우난초는 71%와 80% 수준의 차광조건 아래에서 재배하는 것이 잎의 생장과 개화가 가장 양호하였고 관상가치가 높았다.

This research is to develop a functional twosome game, named "Speed Touch". Speed ouch neccesitates reasonable function of the frontal lobe of brain, mainly related to fast decision making and quick response to provided subject, and physical exercises as well. Speed Touch could improve players' abilities of instant response, memory, reflexes, and concentration simultaneously. The simplicity of Speed Touch contents make everyone learn how to play at glance, and different level of difficulty compensates the simplicity. In short, Speed ouch could be called "simple and intuitive". These factors of Speed Touch could relieve poor cognition ability of children, help preventing the old from getting dimentia. This research also requires deep study of human brain functions, human factor engineering, and necessary game factors for successful result, including better attention and cognition abilities.

The objective of this research is the development of the computerized screening tool to find out the mild cognitive impairment for the middle and old aged people. This research aims the comprehensive screening tool which can measure seven human cognitive function, attention, psychomotor speed, memory, visuaspatial, calculation, verbal and executive abilities. This tool is designed to upgrade the present 'paper and pensil' screening tool in view of conveniency and accuracy.

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the potential antidiabetic and antioxidant effect of the ethanol extract from Chrysanthemum cornarium L. var. spatiosum(CSE) against alloxan-induced oxidative stress in pancreatic β-cells, HIT-T15. In this study, the antidiabetic effect of CSE was examined using the 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazolyl-2)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazoliu bromide(MTT) cell proliferation assay, lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release assay, NAD+/NADH ratio and insulin secretion. To further investigate whether CSE is involved in the antioxidant activity of alloxan-damaged HIT-T15 cells, its antioxidant effect against alloxan-induced oxidative stress was measured in HIT-T15 cells by determining the levels of antioxidant enzymes including superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione S-transferase(GST), glutathione reductase(GR) and glutathione peroxidase(GPx). The results of this analysis showed that alloxan significantly decreased cell viability, increased LDH leakage, and lowered NAD+/NADH ratio and insulin secretion in HIT-T15 cells. However, CSE significantly increased the viability of alloxan-treated cells and lowered LDH leakage. The intracellular NAD+/NADH ratio and insulin secretion were also significantly increased by 1.7-fold and 1.3-fold, respectively, after treatment with 100 ㎍/㎖ CSE. The HIT-T15 cells treated with alloxan showed significant decreases in the activities of antioxidant enzymes, while CSE significantly elevated the levels of antioxidant enzymes. These findings suggest that CSE could have a protective effect against cytotoxicity and dysfunction of pancreatic cells in the presence of alloxan-induced oxidative stress.

A functional game named BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) Edutainment, the goal of this research is to develop game contents basically utilizing brain waves of the level of concentration and meditation, and computer interface, measured by Single Channel EEG (Electroencephalogram) System Hardware. The BCI Edutainment System helps users realize their own concentration and meditation levels, and improve those through constant practices. Consequently the BCI Edutainment might be used as a tool for ADHD and Dementia for kids and seniors as well. It also could be applied to education and just game field. More study on brain waves and differentiated content-making techniques are absolutely necessary to maximize the effect of BCI Edutainment with lots of fun. This research is to develop the functional games of two-some dance and collaborated functional baseball.

LC-DAD-ESI/MS를 이용하여 국내 자색벼 품종에 대해 개별 안토시아닌 조성 및 함량을 평가한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 자색벼 품종에서 분리된 모든 개별 안토시아닌의 화학구조는 MS fragment 패턴을 확인하여 cyanidin을 base로 한 unknown 화합물 1종을 포함, cyanidin 3,5-diglucoside, cyanidin 3-glucoside, peonidin 3-glucoside의 총 4가지 개별성분이 분리 및 동정되었다. 2. Cyanidin 3-glucoside 및 peonidin 3-glucoside이 주요성분으로 cyanidin 3-glucoside의 경우 90% 이상의 가장 높은 함량 비중을 나타냈으며, 개별성분별 평균 함량은 cyanidin 3-glucoside > peonidin 3-glucoside > cyanidin 3,5-diglucoside > unknown(cyanidin based)의 순으로 나타났다. 3. 흑진주벼의 총 안토시아닌 함량은 408 mg/100 g으로 흑남벼보다 약 6배 정도 높은 함량을 나타내었다.

근적외선 분광 분석법을 이용하여 참깨의 지방함량의 신속측정 가능성에 대해서 연구하였다. 검량식의 기본 모형은 다중 회귀 모형으로 하였으며, 회귀 모형의 독립 변수의 선택은 step-wise법을 이용하였다. 1. 참깨의 121점 중 지방산 함량 분포는 palmitic acid(IT028899-7.2%, IT169359-10.0%), stearic acid(IT028897-4.5%, IT028910-7.0%), oleic acid(IT170020-32.2%, IT156371-46.5%), linoleic acid(IT156348-36.5, IT169926-49.6%), 그리고 linolenic acid(IT169316-0.2%, IT156367-0.6%)로 나타났다. 2. 지방함량을 예측하기 위해서 검량선 작성시 종래의 화학적 방법에 의한 분석치와 NIRS 분석치 와의 상관계수는 oleic acid(r2-0.834) and linoleic acid(r2-0.925)로 판단되어 linoleic acid의 이용은 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

This research is to develop an expert system utilizing virtual reality and 3D image technologies for minimizing damages from natural disaster, especially storm and flood, which could be used as a training kid for people including the old. It also develops an expert system for storm and flood on very limited region, 3D animation application technology using optical motion capture techniques for heavy storm and flood, and 3D-based rendering technology using virtual reality techniques. This data based expert system should work exactly like real experts by adapting all expert knowledge and experience, so that users, especially the old and vulnerable residents not familiar with computer systems, could easily use the system by several button selections. The animated character based program will also be developed for the old and vulnerable residents to learn and understand what to do quite easily.

This research is to develop a street-walking aid for the visually impaired, which detects front direction obstacles within 2 meters and inform the user with sound and vibration as well. This way it keeps the visually impaired from such obstacles. This aid also identifies 10 different colors quite correctly so that the visually impaired could apply it when he or she tries to match the color of his or her clothes, or he or she wants to know the color of things he or she would buy. This aid has additional function of identifying the brightness level around the user. It provides also various ergonomic design features such as optimized centroid design for minimal fatigue of hands even after long use, ideal position of back button for easy and convenient grip, easy and compact recharge, raised letters on all buttons, the usefulness of main body itself without attached white cane, non-slip hand grip, high-performance ultrasonic sensors, and wrist strap.

There are half million dentists in the world and 20,000 dentists in Korea. One of the typical operation among dentist is implantation. The 10% of the dentist in U.S.A. and 70% of dentist in Korea conduct implantation. However many problems are occurred in Korea because many dentists in Korea learn this operation skill from private research center rather than authorized institute like U.S.A. This research develops system of implantation education for dentist using Haptic simulation system to solve such a problem. This system improves education effectiveness through experiencing overall operation procedure and eyes, which expect to lead us 4D virtual reality and provide safe method for patient.
