        대학의 품질경영 혁신활동을 통해 우수한 교육서비스를 제공하고, 이해관계자가 존재하는 가치체인 안에 가치지대(Value Zone)를 확대할 수 있도록 역량을 키워야 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 린 6시그마(Lean 6 Sigma) 기법을 적용하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 대학품질경영 활동에 이러한 린 식스 시그마를 적용하여 선택과 집중을 통해 우수한 학생을 육성하는 경쟁력 있는 대학으로 발전시키기 위한 전략과 방안을 제시한다.

        The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between addiction to online games and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) in college students. A total of 377 (205 male and 172 female) college students completed an online game addiction scale, a Symptom Severity Scale (SSS), and a Function Status Scale (FSS) for CTS. It was found that five (1.3%) students were diagnosed with an online game addiction, 74 (19.6%) students were diagnosed with a pre-addiction to online games, and 298 (79.0%) students were diagnosed as being average users. The pre-addiction group had significantly higher scores on the SSS than did the average user group (p<.05). The average user group scored significantly lower than did the online game addiction group (p<.05). Symptoms of wrist pain and hand numbness in the daytime were common in the addiction group. There were statistically significant but poor positive relationships between the online game addiction scale and the SSS (r=.312, p<.01), and between the online game addiction scale and the FSS (r=.149, p<.01). The information about online game addiction and CTS identified in this study could contribute to the prevention of online game addiction and CTS in college students.

        Purpose : To investigate correlations between ocular components and corneal aberration according to comeal topographic pattems. Methods : 100 subjects (127 eyes) whose corrected visual acuity is 20/20 or better participated in this study. Ocular components. comeal topography and comeal aberration were measured. Results : Round type was 25%. oval type was 17%. symmetric bow tie type was 15%. asymmetric bow tie type was 26%, irregular type was 17% in classified by corneal topographic patterns. There were significant correlations between 1st coma aberration and refraclive error. between corneal power and total astigmatism. spherical aberration(total. 1st. 2nd and 3rd). There was significant correlations between comeal eccentricity and 2nd astigmatism. There were significant correlations between corneal astigmatism and astigrnatism(total. 1st and 3rd). Refractive error. comeal astigmatism and comeal aberration were the highest value in round type among the 5 different comeal topographic patterns. Corneal power was the highest value in oval type. but corneal eccentricity was the highest value in symmetric bow tie type. Conclusions : lt is considered that this data can be used as basic information for further studies regarding effecls of comeal pattern and aberration on the qualily of vision.

        This article reports on research into self-directed English leaning of Korean university students, focusing on their motivation and metacognition. In general, university students in Korea undertake independent learning to improve their English competence outside the classroom, rather than relying on English courses provided by their universities. Although much of their English learning is self-directed, little has been known about how they carry out their out-of-class English learning. To obtain a better understanding of their self-directed learning, this study, employing a qualitative approach, analyzed reflective journals written by 25 university students during one semester. From the analysis, students’ motivation and metacognition emerged as important themes involved in the students’ self-directed learning. The findings of this study suggest that student motivation continuously ebbs and flows as a result of its complex interrelationship with contextual factors. In addition, it was found that students’ metacognitive knowledge played a crucial role in directing their out-of-class learning as students adopted learning strategies based on their metacognitive knowledge, which was again formed and revised in the course of their learning process. Finally, this article presents suggestions for promoting students’ self-directed English learning.

        The growth in services has focused issues of service quality both for commercial enterprises and across a range of public services and government institutions. The education sector, in particular, has undergone radical change to meet the needs of its varied constituents. This paper examines key issues in internal service, customer satisfaction, service quality, relational commitment as they apply in one particular education sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze effect of internal service on customer satisfaction, educational service quality. First, In the dimension of internal service, many factors affect internal customer's evaluation for overall satisfaction. They are categorized as five factors; tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The results of this study supported the proposed conceptual framework overall. Therefore, we identified that internal service quality is the antecedent of an internal customer satisfaction, and the consequent variables of an internal customer satisfaction are educational service quality, external customer satisfaction. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, some factors(tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) affected positively internal customer satisfaction. Second, external service quality affected positively educational service quality, external satisfaction. In other words, the more internal customers have experienced internal service, the higher internal service quality deliver educational service quality.

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a university English conversation program which had employed on-line homework and outside-class interviews with native English instructors. After over 1,200 sophomores took the conversation course for a semester, questionnaires were administered to measure the students' satisfaction for the program and their perceived usefulness and effectiveness of the in- and outside-class activities. The results showed: first, students perceived the in-class lessons and outside-class interviews with the native English instructors as useful, but not the on-line conversation practice; secondly, the students' perceived usefulness, affective effects, and content evaluation of each activity were shown to have significant effects on their perceived effectiveness of the outside-class activities. Lastly, significant differences were not found by the different groups of proficiency level in their perceptions of the usefulness, affective effects, and content evaluation of the outside-class activities. However, different proficient groups showed different amount of study efforts and preference for activities.

        In this study, actual status of safety management for the objects of 173 university, government research institution, and corporate affiliated research center was carried out through questionnaires. For unexpected accident status according to kinds, scale, and types of laboratories, frequency analysis using cross analysis and multiple replies analysis was used. The result of this study is judged to be used for laboratory safety education prevention programs, laboratory environment improvement, investment or improvement of laboratories through the actual safety management status of laboratories such as vulnerable works for generation of unexpected sudden accidents according to kind, scale, and type of laboratories, period of occurrence, prevention education, necessity for preliminary test, and cause of laboratory accidents.

        이 연구는 ‘미시문화기술적 연구 방법’을 활용하여 대학원 교과교육학 과목 ‘한 문교육원론(漢文敎育原論)’ 수업을 비평한 것이다. 본격적 수업 비평에 앞서, ‘수 업→관찰→기술(記述)→해석’이라는 ‘수업 비평 모형’을 구안(具案)하였다. 해석의 결과인 이론은 다시 수업으로 환류(還流)되고, 수업의 주체인 교수자와 해석의 주체인 연구자는 상호 작용한다는 점을 강조하였다. 필자와 연구 참여자들의 비평 활동을 몇 가지 양상 예컨대, 수업 프로그램 비평, 비평적 안목(眼目)의 양상, 교실 수업에로의 연계와 환류(還流), 그리고 변화와 성찰(省察)의 국면(局面)으로 범주화하고, 각각의 특성을 고찰하였다. 대학원 ‘한 문교육원론’ 수업 비평은, 현장의 한문 교사들이 한문교육학의 학문적 성격과 특 성을 알 수 있는 계기가 되며, 사범대학 및 교육대학원 한문교육학 관련 수업의 방향 제시에 도움이 된다는 점에서 일정한 의의(意義)가 있다. 한편으로, 이 연구 에 참여했던, 필자와 한문 교사들은, ‘한문교육학 연구자로서의 교사와 교수’라는 역할을 수행할 것을 다지는 전회(轉回)의 계기가 되었다.

        본 연구에서는 대학수학능력시험[College Scholastic Ability Test] 한문 과목 [Chinese Characters] ‘한자 영역’에 대한 분석의 방향을 크게 ‘출제 경향’과 ‘문 항 유형’의 차원으로 그 범주를 설정하였다. 이 연구는, 한문 과목이 대학수학능력 시험 제2외국어/한문 영역에 포함되어 시행되기 시작한 2005학년도 6월 모의평가 부터 2009학년도 9월 모의평가까지 총 14회에 걸친 모의평가 및 대학수학능력시 험 문항을 검토 대상으로 하여 분석을 진행하였다. 먼저 출제 경향의 차원에서 살펴본 결과, 한자 영역의 문항 수는 전체 문항 수 의 20%인 6문항이 출제되어 출제 매뉴얼에서 제시한 시행 지침과 일치하고 있 다. 그러나 배점으로 보면 ‘6점(12%)~10점(20%)’로 구성되어 ‘한자’의 비중이 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 문항의 평가 요소를 살펴보면 한자 영역의 학습 요소 를 고르게 반영하여 내용상 타당성이 높은 문항을 출제하기 위해 노력하고 있었 다. 다음으로 문항의 유형을 살펴본 결과 다양한 유형의 문항을 출제하고 있다. 변별도를 제고하고 정답률을 조정하기 위해 문항의 유형에 계속 변화를 주고 있 으며, 또한 기출 문항에 저촉되지 않기 위하여 새로운 문항 형식을 도입하였고 삽 화를 적극 활용하고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 대학수학능력시험 한문 과목 ‘한자 영역’에 대한 분석을 ‘출제 경 향’과 ‘문항 유형’의 차원에서 수행하였다. 차후로 측정․평가의 통계적 원리와 기 법을 활용하여 ‘문항의 양호도’에 관한 연구를 수행할 필요가 있다.
