        This project which was used in KOICA Funds took into account international standards and relevant system of ship safety management through feasibility study and establishment of the ship safety management system and transfer of the ship survey skills and training of relevant government officers from 2007 into 2008. As a consequence, it resulted in the prosperity of maritime technology for ship construction, ship design and ship survey system and improvement of the relevant regulatory system of ship safety management, in particular, in the field of a registration system for fishing vessels and domestic ship survey system. This paper introduce the successful project through the technical cooperation and transfer in the fields of maritime safety and environment between the Republic of Korea as a member of A group Council of IMO and the Algeria in Africa which recently carry out the large scale of a following project.

        이 연구에서는 녹차를 이용한 친환경 복합보드를 건축내장재로의 활용을 위하여, 녹차의 다양한 기능성과 목재섬유의 우수한 강도특성을 살려 녹차-목재섬유 복합보드를 제작하였고, 녹차-목재섬유 복합보드의 정 적 휨강도성능에 미치는 녹차와 목재섬유 배합비율 및 접착제의 영향을 조사하였다. 녹차-목재섬유복합보드 의 휨 강도성능은 녹차의 배합에 따라 대조보드 (control 보드) 보드의 그것보다 감소하였는데, 그 감소비율 은 전반적으로 녹차배합비율이 증가할수록 커지는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한, 보드제조에 사용된 수지의 종 류에 따라 강도성능의 차이가 나타났는데, 포름알데히드 방산량이 많은 E1급 요소수지가 E0급 요소수지보 다 휨 탄성계수에서는 1.08∼1.53배 그리고 휨 강도는 1.19∼1.82배의 더 높은 값을 나타내었으며, 녹차의 배합비율이 커질수록 양자의 차이는 커지는 것이 확인되었다. 휨 강도는 E1급 요소수지의 경우, 시판용 중밀 도섬유판 (medium density fiberboard, MDF)의 0.94∼1.03배의 값을 나타내어 시판용 중밀도섬유판과 거 의 차이가 없었고, 녹차와 목재섬유를 복합한 우수한 친환경 기능성복합보드제조가 가능한 것이 밝혀졌다.

        The objective of this study was to examine the quality characteristics and antioxidant activity of yogurt containing hot water extract from maca. Four different levels (0, 4, 8, 12%) of maca extract were added to milk followed by fermentation with lactic acid bacteria at 37℃ for 12 hrs, and then the physicochemical properties of the samples were investigated. During 7 days of storage at 4±1℃, the acid production (pH and titratable acidity) of the yogurt increased with the addition of maca extract. The Hunter L value (lightness) decreased, while the b value (yellowness) increased as the maca extract level in the yogurt increased. Viable cell counts were not significantly different among the samples. The results of consumer acceptance tests showed that no significant differences in overall acceptability were observed between the yogurts containing 4% and 8% of maca extract and a control yogurt. The yogurt containing maca extract exhibited higher DPPH radical and superoxide anion radical scavenging activities than the control yogurt over the storage period.

        쇠고기의 저장 중 발생되는 부패취를 특수 관능기법인 R-index를 적용하여 부패취 검지분석을 하고, Pseudomonas의 증식과 비교분석 하였다. 패널에게 사전훈련을 통하여 signal reference(37oC, 48시간 동안 저장한 쇠고기)과 noise reference(-2oC, 저장 시간이 없는 신선한 쇠고기)를 구별이 가능하도록 하였다. Stimuli samples(저장 온도 및 시간 별 쇠고기)와 noise reference를 같이 제공하여 부패취 발생 여부의 확신도에 따라 4가지 구간(signal sure(S), signal unsure(S?), noise unsure(N?), noise sure(N))으로 평가하게 하도록 하였다. 상온인 25oC 저장과 냉장 온도인 5oC의 두 가지 시료 모두 저장 시간이 증가함에 따라 R-index가 증가하였다. 25oC의 경우 저장 36시간까지 급격한 변화를 보이다가 36시간 이후 완만한 변화를 보였으며, 5oC는 전구간 매우 완만하게 점차적으로 변화하였다. 패널 개인별 Rindex가 유의수준 α=0.05 및 α=0.01에서의 경계점을 넘는 시점인 부패취 발생 검지시간을 구하였다. 부패취 발생 검지시간은 α=0.05의 경우 25oC에서 30.92±3.47시간, 5oC에서 169.80±11.27시간, α=0.01의 경우는 25oC에서 34.80±4.01시간, 5oC에서 176.41±9.89시간으로 산출되었다. 부패취가 발생되었다고 검지된 저장 시간의 Pesudomonas의 수는 저장 온도별 차이가 있었고, 부패하였다고 판단되는 6-7 log CFU/g에 근접한 수치였다. 이는 미생물이 쇠고기의 부패취 발생의 기여도는 있지만, 그 밖에 유통환경의 오염, 지방의 산패, 내인성 효소 등의 요인도 부패취 발생에 기여한다는 것을 시사한다.

        The purpose of this study is to present the scheme that can enhance the value of native local foods by analyzing the case into which storytelling is incorporated in order to revitalize native local foods. Towards this end, the cases of native local foods throughout the country were recommended through professional survey and one region among them was finally selected through the field study. The survey on the native local foods was conducted through qualitative study. The four stages of storytelling: the findings of storytelling, the production of storytelling, the experience of storytelling, and sharing of storytelling were analyzed by stage and the contents of the survey by stage were developed. In the findings of story, the origins and background of the main family's foods and food-related stories were derived. The production of stories deals with how to convey the stories of surveyed native local foods to consumers and it presented the stories about the place and food menu. In the experience of storytelling, the physical environment and non-physical environment, in which people visit native local eating houses and experience native local foods were analyzed. Finally, in the sharing of story, how the tourists who have experienced the native local foods make stories and disseminate and share them was analyzed. The significance of this study is that through the storytelling technique it presented the findings, production, experience and sharing of native local foods in the level that can apply to practical business. Although the research is in the stage of inquiry, this study is meaningful in that it presented the basic methodology that can induce the revitalization of the native local food industry through examining the tradition and significance of native local foods that can be found in all the regions of the country.

        Nanostructured carbon materials have been found to have applications in fuel cell electrodes, field emitters, electronic devices, sensors and electromagnetic absorbers, etc. Especially, the CNF (carbon nanofiber) can be expected to play an important role in catalyst supporters for fuel cell electrodes and chemical reactions. In this study, we synthesized CNF from a liquid phase carbon source by a solvothermal method. In addition, we studied the parameters for the preparation of CNF by controlling heating and cooling rates, synthesis temperature and time. We characterized the CNF by SEM/TEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy and EDS. We found that the heating and cooling rate have strong effects on the CNF formation and growth. We were able to prepare the best CNF at the heating rate of 10˚/min, at 450˚ for 60 minutes, and at the cooling rate of 4˚/min. As a result of Raman spectra, we found that the sample showed two characteristic Raman bands at ~1350cm-1 (D band) and ~1600cm-1 (G band). The G band indicates the original graphite feature, but the D band has been explained as a disorder feature of the carbon structure. The diameter and length of the CNF was about 15~20nm, and over 1μ, respectively.

        본 실험은 고랭지에서 사계성딸기의 고설벤치식 양액재배시 묘의 생산 및 저장방법에 따른 생육 및 수량을 비교하고자 실시하였다. 처리는 주냉장묘, 노지월동묘, 폿트냉장묘와 1년생묘였다. 정식시 묘의 생육량은 폿트냉장이 가장 많았다. C/N율은 1년생이 19.5로 가장 낮았고, 폿트냉장은 39.2로 가장 높았다. 그러나 첫 수확기의 생육량은 처리간에 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 1년생의 첫 수확시기는 다른 처리에 비해 5~9일 늦었다. 1년생의 평균과중은 12.6g으로 가장 무거웠다. 상품수량은 폿트냉장이 가장 많았고, 1년생, 주냉장, 노지월동 순으로 많았다. 따라서 고랭지에서 단경기생산을 위한 사계성 딸기의 정식묘는 폿트냉장이 가장 좋았다.

Finally, to predict the Korean restaurant industry, major restaurant industry was categorized into fast food restaurants, family restaurants, pizza restaurants and ice cream restaurants. A contents analysis used to review Korea food industry yearly statistics and monthly magazine 'restaurant'. Korean food service industry yearly statistics have been published since 1980, the magazine 'Restaurant' has been published since 1985, but the statistics was recorded from 1995.

        This study is aimed to predict the configuration and tension of a towing cable of a side-scan sonar which plays an important role in developing ocean resources. The governing equations of 3-D static equilibrium equations for a flexible cable are derived and solved using a finite difference method. The forces considered in this paper are effective weights, drag forces due to currents and ship moving, and the tension at both ends of the towing cable. The governing equations are non-linear, so an iteration method is applied to solve the equation. A case study is carried out for several different conditions. The result will be useful for predicting the location of a side-scan sonar and to design the towing system.
