본 연구는 목초액 침지처리 활엽수의 심·변재 구분에 따른 내후성 효과를 평가하기 위하여 실시하였 다. 졸참나무, 구실잣밤나무, 백합나무를 심재와 변재로 구분한 시험편을 목초액에 96시간 동안 침지시 킨 후 백색 부후균을 사용하여 활엽수 심재와 변재의 내후성을 조사하였다. 침지처리 후 모든 조건에서 목재의 중량과 밀도가 약간 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 부후처리 후 목초액 침지처리를 한 시험편에 서 낮은 중량감소율이 나타났다. 수종별 비교에서 구실잣밤나무의 침지처리 심재에서 가장 낮은 중량감 소가 나타났다. 목초액을 이용한 침지처리법은 백색 부후균에 의한 목재의 부후저항을 효과적으로 증가 시켰다.
시판 목초액과 죽초액의 품질특성, 항산화 및 항균활성을 측정한 결과 목초액과 죽초액의 pH, 가용성 고형분 및 총산도는 각각 3.02와 2.45, 5.61과 5.98 Brix, 3.12와 3.24%였으며, L, a 및 b값은 각각 43.00, 51.02, 73.59와 58.32, 37.02, 75.98이었다. 목초액과 죽초액에 함유되어 있는 총 페놀성 화합물 함량은 13.67과 13.86 mg/mL로 목초액보다 죽초액에서 높은 함량을 보였다. 목초액과 죽초액을 농도별로 처리한 후 ABTS 라디칼 소거활성 및 환원력을 측정한 결과 농도 의존적인 활성을 보였다. 또한 tyrosinase 저해활성은 목초액과 죽초액의 농도 10 μL 첨가시료에서 각각 99.27와 99.22%로 두 시료 간에 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 목초액과 죽초액은 높은 항균활성을 보였으며, 특히 20 μL의 농도에서 E. coli O157:H7균에서 각각 15.6과 14.8 mm로 가장 높은 항균활성을 보였다. 따라서 목초액과 죽초액은 천연 항산화제 및 항균제와 같은 식품첨가물로 이용가능성이 높을 것으로 판단된다.
Our objectives in this experiment were to study the effects of oils that are high in contents of unsaturated fatty acids (olive, flaxseed, and perilla oils) and pyroligneous liquor on plasma lipid concentrations in mice. Male ICR-mouse (n=10 per group) were fed powdered form diets containing oil and pyroligneous liquor for 60 days. The cholesterol level of the PP group (96.71±25.75 ㎎/㎗) was lower than that of the COW group (133.56±21.53 ㎎/㎗). Levels of triglyceride of COP, CFP, and CPP groups were 121.10±50.79 ㎎/㎗, 77.80±38.58 ㎎/㎗, and 92.40±33.04 ㎎/㎗, respectively (p<0.05). The dietary addition of olive oil increased the plasma lsevels of cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol. On the other hand, the dietary addition of flaxseed oil and pyroligneous liquor increased the plasma level of HDL-cholesterol and decreased the plasma levels of LDL-cholesterol and triglyceride compared with those of the control group. Further, the dietary addition of perilla oil decreased plasma triglyceride but increased HDL-cholesterol. The decrease in the cholesterol level was much higher in the CFP group. In conclusion, the dietary addition of long-term pyroligneous liquor effectively decreased the plasma levels of cholesterol and triglyceride and increased the plasma level of HDL-cholesterol. The additional dietary administration of flaxseed and perilla oils increased the effect of pyroligneous liquor.
환경악화에 따른 자연생리물질을 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 그 중에서 목재를 열분해하여 만든 목초 액에서 알코올, 목타르 등을 추출, 정제, 단리하여 토량개 량,식물의 생리활성 촉진, 병해충 발생억제 등 다양한 연구 가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 목초액을 임산버섯 연구 에 활용함으로써 목초액 이용의 활용도를 높이고 무공해 임산버섯 생산의 기틀마련이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 표고버섯 재배시 골목의 목초액 처리에 따른 자실 체 생산량을 비교 분석하였다. 표고버섯에 사용한 균주는 산림조합중앙회의 3균주(산조103호, 산조302호, 산조 502호)로서 목초액 농도별(무처리, 100배, 250배, 500 배, 1,000배)로 처리된 침수조에 골목을 24시간 침수 후 자실체 발생을 유도하였다. 각 처리별 25반복하여 자실체 는 갓이 2/3 정도 피었을때 수확하였고, 수확한 자실체의 골목직경 1cm당 자실체 평균갯수와 생중량, 건중량 을 조 사하였다. 자실체 발생유도는 4회에 걸쳐서 실시하였다. 골목의 목초액 희석농도별 침수처리에 따른 결과는 발생 갯수는 205배 희석액에서 최대 42, 무처리에서 최소 37 개, 생중량은 최대 148.42g 최소 32.40g, 건중량은 최대 11.74g, 최소 2.00g로 나타났으며, 무처리 골목에 비하여 모든 희석액의 처리 골목에서 유의적 증가를 보였고, 250 배 희석농도에서 가장 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라 서 농가에서 표고재배시 골목은250배 희석액을 이용하는 것이 가장 바람직한 것으로 나타났으나 침수에 따른 노동 력이 과다 소요되므로 농산촌 인구의 노령화, 노동력 감소 등에 따른 다양한 연구방안가 진행되어야 할 것이다.
Two experiments were conducted to determine the effect of wood vinegar (WV) on the fecal microbes and gas emission in weaned pigs. In Exp. 1, 224 weaned piglets (L×Y×D, 21 d-old, initial BW 6.02 ± 0.52 kg) were assigned to four treatments of different WV levels in randomized completely block design with four replicates (14 piglets/pen) for 28 days, including phases I (0-2 wk) and phase II (3-4 wk). The dietary treatments were 0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3% of WV added to a corn-soybean meal basal diet. The concentration of ammonia measured at 0 h and 24 h in feces did not differ among dietary treatments (p>0.05), but it was linearly decreased (p<0.05) in 0.2% and 0.3% addition level measured at 48 h and 72 h. The concentration of hydrogen sulfide had no significant change (p>0.05) within treatments measured at different time. The fecal total bacteria (TBC), Lactobacilli(LAB) and E. coli were measured on 14 d and 28 d. TBC were higher (p>0.05) in WV added treatments than the control. Similar results were obtained for LAB. But E. coli populations were decreased (p<0.05) in treatments added WV compared to control measured on 14 d and 35 d. In Exp. 2, 288 weaned piglets (L×Y×D, 21 d-old, initial BW 6.62 ± 0.31 kg) were assigned to four treatments in a randomized completely block design with four replicates (18 piglets/pen) for 28 days. The dietary treatments were basal diet (negative control, NC), 0.2% organic acid (positive control, PC), 0.2% antibiotic (AT) and 0.2% WV added to a corn-soybean meal basal diet. The fecal total bacteria (TBC), Lactobacilli(LAB) and E. coli were measured on 14 d and 28 d. TBC, LAB and E. coli showed lower counts in pigs fed AT diets than others. In conclusion, these results indicated that wood vinegar could reduce the NH3 concentration of feces and inhibited the growth of harmful bacteria.

In this study, the odor compounds emitted from the field workplaces at the Pohang steel complex were measured using analytical instruments and the olfactory method. In addition, the reduction of odor emissions by pyroligneous liquid was evaluated. The odor samples were obtained from slag pots and dry pits, which refrigerate hot slag, and the target compounds were hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and ammonia (NH₃). The levels of odor emissions varied with meteorological and operating conditions, but emissions from dry pits were always much higher than those from slag pots. As the concentration of pyroligneous liquid increased, the concentrations of H₂S and the ratios of dilution decreased. Together with this result and the guideline of odor emissions, the increase of pyroligneous liquid (more than 2.5 times) in cooling water was suggested to reduce odor emissions. Actually, the reduced levels of H₂S at the slag pot and the dry pit were observed (70 and 94%, respectively) after the increased amount of pyroligneous liquid. However, in order to determine the optimal amount of pyroligneous liquid for the economical and efficient removal of odor emissions, the system of cooling water has to be improved and more samples are required for a comprehensive analysis.
유기농자재인 목초액과 키토산의 농업적 이용을 위하여 고추의 생육과 양분흡수 및 토양미생물상에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 키토산 처리구에서 토양의 방선균수가 증가하고 사상균 수는 감소하는 경향으로 A/F 및 B/F비가 커졌으며, 정식 후 50일에 경경이 약간 큰 편이었으나, 엽록소함량은 처리별 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 병해충은 관행에 비해 키토산 및 목초액 처리구 모두 발생률이 많아 병해충의 방제효과는 볼 수 없었다. 식물체 분석 결과 키토산과 목초액 처리구 모두 Ca, K가 관행보다 다소 높았으며 키토산 처리구는 과실의 무기성분 중 Ca와 K와 같은 양이온 함량이 다소 많은 편이었다 키토산과 목초액 처리에 의한 수량은 병해충 발생으로 관행에 비하여 모든 시험구에서 감소하여 수량증대효과는 기대할 수 없었으나. 과중 등의 과실특성이 좋게 나타나 키토산 10회 처리의 경우 관행대비 92.4%로 관행에 가까운 수량지수를 보였다.
This study aimed to isolate and identify the new strains which can be utilized in fermentation process for the production of functional materials. Isolation of the new microorganism in wood vinegar, natural liquid material generated from the carbonization of various trees was studied. Marine agar medium was used for the isolation of halo-tolerant bacteria. Using a sterilized toothpick, transfer same shape colonies to agar plates and continuous cultivation of colonies at 37℃ for several days, 2 colonies were isolated. Through the 16S-based ID service, isolated strains were identified as Cytobacillus species. Verifying the industrial values of the two isolated strains, the productivities of various enzymes such as amylase, lipase, and protease were confirmed. As a result, isolated 2 strains showed amylase and protease activities which means the possibility of applying to biological processes in the food and cosmetic industries.
목초액을 친환경 인삼재배에 이용하기 위하여 전엽기 이후인 6월 중순부터 지상부에 엽면시비로 살포하여 3년생 인삼 잎의 형태적특성과 수량에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 목초액을 처리하면 처리농도에 관계없이 해면조직의 배열이 3층에서 4층으로 증가하였다. 또한 인삼 잎의 상표피와 하표피의 두께가 두꺼워지고, 엽육세포도 두꺼워지는 효과를 보였으며 지하부의 생육에도 영향을 미쳐 무처리에 비해 뿌리의 생육이 증진되었으며 인삼 뿌리의 수량도 증가하였다. 따라서 목초액의 혼합사용은 인삼의 생육을 촉진시키고, 병해를 극복하여 인삼을 친환경재배 할 수 있는 대안이 될 것이다.
The development of functional finishes for the improvement of indoor air quality is one of important issues in the fieldof building materials. Indoor air quality can be affected by gases, particulates, microbial contaminants or any mass thatcan induce adverse health conditions. The purpose of this study is to develop eco-friendly internal material of acrylicemulsion mortars using light-weight aggregate carrier which contains pyroligneous liquid. Four types of light-weightaggregates (perlite, vermiculite, charcoal and zeolite) those are functionally used in interior finishing materials are selectedand the properties such as flowability, adhesion, water absorption coefficient, crack and impact resistance are evaluatedin accordance with KS F 4715. As a result, the properties of acrylic emulsion mortars using light-weight carrier in thisstudy are satisfied with KS requirements. Among the four types of mortars with light-weight carrier, properties of acrylicemulsion mortars using zeolite carrier is more excellent than those of other light-weight carriers.
For this study, Smilex powder, a pesticide, was sprayed on the Altari radish, and then underground water, Chitosan solution (×500), and wood vinegar solution (×1000) were evenly sprayed on the Altari radish respectively. Samples of Altari radishs for residual pesticide analysis were taken two hours, 1 day, 7 days, and 15 days after treatments, and the detectable concentration and degradability of procymidone, the pesticide residue, were measured. The results obtained are as follows:
1. When detectable concentration of procymidone within the altari radish was measured, treatment plots sprayed with underground water, Chitosan solution (×500), and wood vinegar solution (×1000) were found to show lower detectable concentration than the non-treatment plot which was sprayed with pesticide only. Especially, the treatment plots sprayed with Chitosan solution (×500), and with wood vinegar solution (×1,000) showed lower values than the average.
2. When the degradability of procymidone within the Altari radish was measured, the plot treated with Chitosan solution (×500) and the plot treated with wood vinegar solution (×1,000) were found to have relatively higher degradability of procymidone. There were not much differences among testing materials in the degradability of residual pesticides. However, the plot treated with Chitosan solution (×500) showed higher degradability. In terms of average degradability with time, degradability increased sharply 7 days after the foliar application of testing materials.
3. When the daily far-sighted view survey was conducted in order to find out growth disorder and damage on the Altari radish plants by the treatment of underground water, Chitosan solution (×500), and wood vinegar solution (×1,000), no symptomatic physiological disorders was observed on all the plants tested during the whole growing season at the tested concentration level.
본 연구는 목초액의 섭취가 훈련된 흰쥐의 항산화방어기전에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험대상으로는 Sprague-Dawley계 수컷 흰쥐를 사용하였는데 실험그룹은 비운동 대조군과 운동 대조군, 목초액 섭취 비 운동 대조군, 목초액 섭취 운동 대조군으로 나누어 수행하였는데 체중과 혈중성분 변화, 글리코겐 함량, SOD 활성 수준, MDA 함량에 관한 분석을 하였다. 체중과 체지방(장간막, 복막후, 부고환)은 각 그룹 간에 유의한 차이가 없었고, TG와 FFA 농도도 목초액 섭취로 인한 차이는 없었다. Glucose 농도는 대조군 보다 운동군에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었으나 목초액 섭취로 인한 차이는 없었다. 목초액 투여 운동군에서의 SOD 활성은 다른 그룹보다 유의하게 높았다. 운동 대조군에서의 MDA 함량은 비운동 대조군보다 유의하게 낮게 나타났으나 대조군과 목초액 투여군 간의 차이는 없었다. 결론적으로 운동과 목초액 섭취는 산화적 스트레스의 감소에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 예상된다.
From the experiments on the effect of chitosan and wood vinegar, which are environment-friendly materials, on the growth of eggplant and leaf lettuce, the following results were obtained.
1. The effect of chitosan and wood vinegar treatment on the growth of eggplant
1) There was no difference in soil component elements before and after treatment with chitosan and wood vinegar. The total number of microorganisms tended to increase after treatment with chitosan and wood vinegar, while the number of bacteria increased among microorganisms. However, there was no consistent tendency in the number of Acinomycetes, fungi, and trichodema between treatments.
2) The growth and the yield of eggplant increased compared with the control plot in both the chitosan-treated plot and the wood vinegar-treated plot. However, there was no significant difference between the treatments. The yield of eggplant per 10a increased in chitosan- and wood vinegar-treated plots compared with the controlled plot. There was no significant difference in treatments, however, the plot treated with 800 times-diluted solution showed a higher growth.
2. The effect of chitosan and wood vinegar treatment on the growth of leaf lettuce
1) There was no difference in soil component elements before and after treatment with chitosan and wood vinegar. The number of bacteria increased among microorganisms. However, there was no consistent tendency in the number of Acinomycetes, fungi, and trichodema between treatments.
2) The growth of leaf lettuce in both chitosan-treated plot and wood vinegartreated plot increased compared with the control plot, however, there was no significant difference between the treatments. On the whole, the plot treated with greater concentration showed a higher growth.
포도 생육 중 유기농자재의 엽면살포가 포도의 품질과 저장성에 미치는 영향을 농약 처리와 비교하였다 포도의 과방중과 열과 발생률은 처리간에 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으나 키토산, 목초액, 곡물아미노산 처리에 의하여 과방중 300g이상과의 비율이 농약처리나 무처리에 비하여 높았다. 유기농자재를 처리한 포도의 당도와 환원당은 각각 , 13.0-14.5%로 농약처리 , 13.1%에 비하여 높았으나 유의적인 차이는 보이지 않았으며 총산함량은 키토산(0.
With treatment of Kitosan, Wood vinegear and EM(effective microoganism) which farmers call it as substance in fertilizing, conditioning and disease control ubstances, authors in vestigated on microorganisms change in soil and ealy growth characteristics of tomato. The results were summarized as follows :
Among foliar application of kitosan, wood vinegear and EM(effective microoganism) treatments diluted by chitosan 500 times solution level was effective considering growth of tomato as compared other dilutions and control plot. Change of microorganism number in the soil for cultivation of tomato was increased with microorganism treatment plot as compared with control plot. Specially chitosan 500 times solution level showes the most significant effect.
목초액을 천연보존료로 이용하기 위하여 기계식전용 탄화로에서 제조된 목초액을 대상으로 이화적인 특성 및 휘발성분의 함량을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 목초액은 pH, 비중, 산도, 굴절률, 투과률은 각각 2.40, 1.020, , , 이었고, 용해타르 및 작열잔사는 각각 이었다. 한편 무기성분은 Al 0.11, Cu 4.13, Fe 2.92, Mn 0.15, Zn 4.37, Ca 3.49, K 5.89, Mg 0.43, Na 6.88 mg
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of microbial product on microorganisms in soil and the growth of leaf lettuce. The test material were treated with chitosan, wood vinegar and EM activity liquid, and treatment concentration was 50 times solution and 100 times solution level with foliar application. The results were summarized as follows : Among foliar application of microorganisms treatments diluted by chitosan 100 times solution level was effective considering growth of leaf lettuce as compared other dilutions and control plot. Change of microorganism number in the soil for cultivation of chinese cabbages and leaf lettuce was increased with microorganism treatment plot as compared with control plot. Specially chitosan 100 times solution level showes the most significant effect.
