World-class zoos have been recognized proponents of both animal welfare and wildlife conservation. The Korean zoos are in controversy over its existence, citing poor role performance. As one of the efforts to protect animals’ welfare and enhance wildlife conservation, leading zoos have been accredited through the inspections and evaluations. To improve the quality of Korean zoos, an accreditation standard that fits for Korean environment needs to be set. Out of various zoo accreditation standards around the world, we compared each category of all five publicly available accreditation standards; the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in the United States(AZA), Canada's Accredited Zoos and Aquarium(CAZA), European Association of Zoos and Aquaria(EAZA), Zoological Association of America(ZAA), and the Pan-African Association of Zoos and Aquariums(PAAZA). Based on the analysis result, we established 10 essential categories that were finally approved by the Focus group interview; animal welfare and care and management, veterinary care, conservation, education and interpretation, governing authority, staff, finance, physical facilities, safety and security, and master & strategy plan. This minimum zoo accreditation standards would enlighten the path to improve animal welfare and wildlife conservation of Korean local zoos.
목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 복지 사회가 요구하는 작업치료서비스의 질 관리와 역량 있는 작업치료사를 양성 하기 위하여 국내 실정에 맞는 한국작업치료인증기준 평가항목을 개발하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 국내 작업치료학과 교수를 대상으로 2016년 6월부터 8월까지 한국작업치료인증기준 평가항목 의 타당성을 조사하였다. 평가항목은 문헌고찰 및 자료조사를 통하여 작업치료교육인증기준에 대한 6개 영역으로 구성하였으며, 항목의 타당도는 4점 척도를 사용하여 측정하였다. 1차 조사를 통하여 회수된 84부의 타당도 분석결과를 바탕으로 포커스집단 회의를 통해 내용을 재검토하고 수정 보완하여, 작업치 료 핵심실무역량 평가요소 및 항목을 포함하여 최종 한국작업치료인증기준 평가항목을 구성하였다. 최종 평가항목은 작업치료교육전문가 10명을 대상으로 내용타당도를 조사하였다. 결과 : 한국작업치료인증기준 평가항목은 총 6개 영역, 15개 부문, 31개 하위항목으로 구성하였으며, 항목 별 타당도 평균은 3.3~4.0점까지의 범위로 최종 내용타당도 지수(Content Validity Index; CVI)는 0.8~1.0까지로 나타났다. 작업치료 핵심실무역량 평가항목은 상담/평가 및 중재/기타 2개 영역, 21개 하위항목으로 분류하였으며, 타당도 평균은 3.0~3.6점까지의 범위로 CVI값은 1.0이었다. 핵심실무역량 평가 방법으로는 실제 테스트가 상담/평가에서는 40.6%, 중재/기타에서는 37.5%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 결론 : 한국작업치료인증기준을 확립하고 적용하여 역량 있는 작업치료사를 양성할 수 있는 교육시스템을 권장하고, 국내 모든 대학의 작업치료 교육의 질을 향상시킴으로써 작업치료서비스의 국제적 호환성 및 사회적 책무성을 달성할 수 있어야 할 것이다.
목적 : 국내 작업치료(학)과의 지속적인 증가에 따른 교육품질인증의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 대학들의 세계작업치료사연맹(World Federation of Occupational Therapists; WFOT) 인증 확 대 및 국내 실정에 맞는 교육품질인증의 도입 필요성에 대한 인식도를 확인하기 위하여 진행되었다. 연구방법 : 2016년 1월 20일부터 4월 25일까지 메일을 통해 국내 작업치료(학)과에 소속된 모든 교수들 을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하였다. 설문지는 총 103부 회수되었으며 응답이 미비한 8부를 제외하고 총 95부를 분석에 활용하였다. 결과 : 연구결과 95명의 응답자 중 80명(84.2%)이 WFOT 인증평가가 필요하다고 응답하였으며 국내 자체의 교육품질인증에 대해서도 73명(76.8%)이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 또한 국내 자체의 작업치료 교육품질인증이 실시될 경우 응답자의 75.8%인 72명이 평가받을 의향이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 결론 : 작업치료영역에서도 교육의 질을 확보하고 교육수요자에게 교육에 대한 신뢰를 부여하기 위해서 다양한 잣대의 교육품질평가가 필요하다. 합리적인 평가기준의 확립과 적용을 통하여 국내 모든 대학의 교육의 질을 높이고, 작업치료사 면허를 취득한 신입 작업치료사의 직무수행 능력을 신뢰할 수 있는 풍토를 조성해야 할 것이다.
Modern weapon systems are getting more complex in terms of the functionality and also the conditions on the environment and range in which they are deployed and used. Therefore, many development programs can easily be exposed to a variety of risks, resulting in delayed schedules and cost overrun. As such, effective means are necessary to keep the defence budget at an affordable level while competitive edges on technological aspects are retained. As one way to meet those need, modeling and simulation (M&S) methods have widely been used, particularly in the test and evaluation (T&E) process for weapon systems development. The result of M&S-based systems development should be evaluated by the verification, validation & accreditation (VV&A) process to assure keeping reliability at a desired level. On the other hand, due to the explosiveness, the weapons systems development naturally requires to consider safety issues in both the T&E and operational periods. The purpose of this paper is to improve the VV&A process by reflecting the safety requirements therein. To do so, the VV&A process has been analyzed and graphically modeled first and then safety elements have been incorporated effectively. The use of the improved process in the war ships development has also been discussed. Based on the process proposed and the consequent database constructed, the target system can be expected to benefit from reducing development risks while assuring systems safety.
Recently the rapid changes of the social environment make both university and every each department should have to renovate and adjust all of the educational components. The most dominant and issuable change of business administration education is the Business Education Accreditation which was certified by the KABEA(Korean Association of Business Education Accreditation). And the only two department of fisheries business administration which in Gyeongsang National University and Pukyong National University has been accredited recently. Though The department of fisheries business administration in Korea has been influenced by that Accreditation, there is few research and analysis on educational change. So it is very important that research on the curricular constitution and change of the curriculum for considering the its own effect and influence. This paper aims to explore the curricular constitution, change and course fulfillment of fisheries business administration after the business education accreditation based on the case of the department of fisheries business administration in Gyeongsang National University. The analysis of fisheries business administration change will help develop sustainable curriculum and give more guideline for identifying the core of fisheries business administration. The method of analysing that in this research has adopt the social network analysis(SNA) and automated software tool which is the most dominant technique in contents analysis including the Krkwics and Pajek. The SNA is evaluated that most popular, rigorous and firm methodology for analyzing, examining and revising some concepts or objects in the context of semantics. The result of this study shows that the ratio of fisheries business administration class has been decreased but still the most fulfilled course. And English mediated class has been avoided though that sort of the class has been increased. In the view point of course fulfillment, it has been potential and inefficient problems that some classes that including financial related and accounting related class would not been accomplished appropriately. The findings of a graduate depth interview which has been done about 4 years for understanding that student show that there’s some recognition gap of fisheries business administration in staffs of human resource management. And the level of job satisfaction in fisheries business still somewhat low and even worse the chance of recruitment also unsteady.
This study attempted to understand the perception and the degree of trust that consumers had in the national agricultural food accreditation system, to inquire into and examine the consumers' perception of traditional food quality certification performed for the protection of excellent traditional food, and to propose the right direction for the policies on the traditional food quality certification system and the plans to improve consumers' perception of the system. According to the results of this survey performed in married women, based on the 'the recognition of accreditation system' and 'the recognition of certification marks' of 'the seventh national agricultural food accreditation system' presently being used by the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the household food purchasers showed high recognition for eco-friendly agricultural product accreditation, processed food KS certification, and organically processed food certification in that order. Meanwhile, it was shown that they indicated low recognition for the traditional food-related accreditation systems such as 'traditional food quality certification' and 'food grand master'. It was found that reliability of the certification mark provided by the agricultural food accreditation system gained 3.54 points (on a 5-point scale), and 68.1% of the study subjects referred to the certification marks while purchasing agricultural foods. And most of them answered to the question of 'why they referred to the certification marks' saying that it was done 'to choose safe food'. The most frequent answer to question of 'the means to recognize the traditional food quality certification system' was 'broadcasting, advertising'. 57.3% of the subjects had a previous experience of buying a product certified by the traditional food quality certification system, and 93.2% of all the subjects had the intention to buy a product certified by the traditional food quality certification system later. And most of them answered that 'strengthening government policies' would be the most ideal way to inform the public of the traditional food quality certification system. According to the results of this study, while 'relying on the traditional food quality certification system in general' was relatively high among the consumers, 'intention to buy quality certified products by visiting a distantly located store' was low; thus, from this analysis, it can be seen that there is a need for diversification of places selling these quality certified products and to establish a distribution network for these products.
본 연구는 보육시설 평가인증에 대한 보육 종사자들의 조력인식과 조력을 받은 후 보육종사자 들의 조력만족도는 보육종사자변인간의 차이가 있는지에 대해 알아보고자 하는 목적으로 보육 시설 종사자 450명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 보육시설 평가인증제도 조력에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과 전문가에 의한 객관적 지도를 받을 수 있으므로 조력이 필요하고, 희망하는 조력기관으로는 평가인증사무국과 보육정보센터를 지지하고 있었다. 둘째, 평가인증 조력도움을 원하는 영역으로는 보육환경, 안전, 보육과정, 상호작용 나타났으며. 조력자의 자격은 이론과 현장경험에 일정한 자격을 갖춘자를 원했고 보육시설에 전문조력자 를 직접 지원하는 방식을 지지하고 있었다. 셋째, 조력자의 자질에 대한 만족도는 전체적인 개선사항을 인식하고 파악하는 능력을 가진 자를 가장 선호하였고 , 교사를 존중하고 친밀하며 신뢰적인 관계형성에 대한 부분의 만족도가 높았다. 넷째, 평가인증 영역별 조력 만족도는 보육환경, 운영관리, 상호작용 조력은 집단 교육 및 강의참가에 대한 조력이 많았고 만족도도 높았다.
본 연구는 2010년 1월 현재 평가인증시설의 보육시설 종사자를 대상으로 보육시설의 평가 인증제도에 대한 인식과 사후관리에 대한 전반적인 실태를 조사하여 평가인증시설의 요구에 따른 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 보육시설 평가인증제에 따른 사후유지관리 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과 첫째, 시설규모에 따라 보육시설 종사자의 평가 인증 통과 후 인식은 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 평가인증 후 사후관리에 대한 질 평가는 대체적으로 모든 평가인증 영역에 걸쳐 향상되었다고 볼 수 있으나 시설들 간의 차이를 보이고 있는점은 각각의 상황이 다른 상태에서 실시되어 각 기관의 평가결과가 다른 것으로 유추 할 수 있었다. 셋째, 시설규모에 따른 보육시설 종사자의 평가인증 통과 인식과 사후유지관리는 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴 본 결과 인식수준이 높을수록 사후유지관리가 높게 나타났다. 본 연구를 토대로 앞으로 보육시설의 종사자인 보육교사는 보육의 질을 향상시키는데 핵심요소이기 때문에 보육교사들이 인증의 과정을 통해 스스로 성숙하는 매우 중요한 과정임을 인식하도록 해야 하겠다. 이러한 보육교사들이 평가인증에 대한 “긍정적인 인식”을 형성하도록 하는 과정은 평가인증제의 영유아에게 질적으로 우수한 보육서비스를 제공하는데 전제가 될 수 있을 것이다.
This paper deals with conformity assessments requirements for accreditation and certification bodies. This study also introduces conformity guidances of product certification and code of good practice. This paper presents general requirements for accreditation, recognition and registration bodies of environmental quality system and product certification.
Currently, there are two major problems in professional engineer(PE) licensure system in Korea to be accredited internationally. One is a incompleteness of system connecting the licensure and the accredited engineering education program and the other one is a insufficient working experience condition required for achieving PE license. Therefore, these two problems are setbacks hindering Korea's PE license accredited internationally. In this study, international tendency stream on mutual accreditation of PE license are reviewed first, and the PE licensure system of the major countries are compared and analyzed. Based on the results, requirements improvement plan are suggested and the gradual implementation method are suggested also.
목적 : 본 연구는 작업치료 교육기관 증가에 따른 교육기관 인증제 도입의 필요성에 대한 인식정도를 작업치료(학)과 교수 및 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 알아보고자 하였다.연구방법 : 연구의 대상은 작업치료(학)과에 재직 중인 교수 26명과 3, 4학년 재학 중인 170명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구도구는 설문지를 이용하였고, 한국작업치료교육인증위원회에서 수렴된 의견을 기초로 20개의 항목으로 구성하였다. 설문분석은 기술통계량인 빈도와 백분율을 사용하여 각 문항별 인식정도를 알아보았다.결과 : 인증제도의 필요성 여부에 교수는 88,5%, 학생은 90% 찬성하였고, 인증제가 도입될 경우 평가를 희망한다는 의견이 교수는 84.6%, 학생은 94.7%로 높게 나타났다. 평가결과에 대한 신뢰여부도 교수는 73.1%, 학생은 77.6%로 신뢰할 수 있을 것이라는 결과를 보여주었다. 표준화된 교과과정 수립 필요여부는 교수는 100%, 학생은 99.4%가 필요하다는 답변을 하였다. 인증제 도입시 포함되어야 할 항목으로 상위 5개 항목으로 교수는 전공관련 교수수, 교과목의 학습내용, 교수의 임상경험 유무, 교과목 종류, 평가도구의 종류 순이었고, 학생은 교과목의 학습내용, 교수의 임상경험 유무, 교과목 종류, 전공관련교수수, 실습도구 순으로 나타났다.결론 : 본 연구결과 작업치료(학)과 교수 및 학생들 모두 교육기관 인증제 도입의 필요성이 매우 필요하다는 의견에 동의하였고, 한국 작업치료의 질적 수준을 향상시키기 위한 교육제도의 표준화가 절실함을 알 수 있었다.
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate attitudes of Korean occupational therapists toward introducing an accreditation system of occupational therapy education programs. Method : The self-administering written questionnaire was employed for this survey research. The questionnaire was developed and reviewed by the Accreditation Board for the Education of Korean Occupational Therapists and was composed of 18 items which included both closed-ended and open-ended questions. The questionnaire was distributed to Korean occu-pational therapists who attended at the 10th annual conference of Korean Association of Occupational Therapists in October 2002.Results : Among 106 respondents, 80.2% expressed their concern about the sudden increase of new occupational therapy education programs and they believed that the curricula of new in-stitutions and the quality of the institutes’ graduates would be different. On the question of ne-cessity of introducing the accreditation system of occupational therapy education programs, 89.7% responded that it was necessary. All respondents agreed that clinical fieldwork experience was necessary and the preferred length was 16, 24, and 12 weeks in order. The areas to be in-cluded in the accreditation were the number of qualified professors, fieldwork hours, and the contents of curricula in order. 77.4% of the sample responded that they would trust the result and process of the accreditation. Conclusion : Based on the result of the survey, it could be inferred that the majority of oc-cupational therapists were concerned about improving quality of the profession rather than its quantitative expansion. Therefore, it is expected that the accreditation system of occupational therapy education programs would ensure the qualitative growth of occupational therapy pro-fession in Korea.
The purposes of establishing accreditation standards for the occupational therapy program are to
assure the quality of the program and to assist in the development of the program. Accreditation serves the public as accredited programs modify their requirements to reflect changes in knowledge and practice generally accepted in the field. To students, accreditation provides an assurance that the educational activities of an accredited program have been found to be satisfactory, and therefore meet the needs of students. Also it assists in the transfer of credits between institutions, or in the admission of students to advanced degrees through the general acceptance of credits among accredited institutions when the performance of the students has been satisfactory and the credits to be transferred are appropriate to the receiving institution. The occupational therapy programs benefit from accreditation through the stimulus provided for self-evaluation and self-directed program improvement and strengthening of program self-evaluation by the review and counsel provided through the accrediting agency. At the same time, this process enhances the reputation of an accredited program because of public regard for accreditation. Lastly, the profession of occupational therapy can be strengthened by contributing to the unity of the professions in an activity directed at improving professional preparation and professional practice.
Nowadays, there are many issues in introducing accreditation of occupational therapy education in Korea. Accreditation is a system for recognizing educational institutions and professional programs affiliated to those institutions on a level of performance, integrity, and quality which entitles them to the confidence of the educational community and the public they serve. I believe accreditation system in the United States is well-established through nongovernmental, voluntary institutional or professional association. On the basis of analyzing accreditation system of the United States, this study introduces the arrangement for establishing
of accreditation policy in Korea.
Medical schools have a social accountability to educate competent medical trainees and to improve the quality of medicine. Accreditation Board for Medical Education in Korea was established as an accreditation board in 1993. Now, Korean Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation (KIMEE) was opened and assessed the medical curricula and environments of each medical school which included medical educational contents, teaching-learning methods, assessment, students’ elections, medical facilities and the supporting system. KIMEE will assess each medical school with new items, called ‘ASK 2019’ starting from Year 2019. According to ASK 2019, KIMEE will assess 92 basic items and 51 excellence items which are 9 domains of mission and outcome, educational curriculum, students’ assessment, students, medical professors, educational resources, educational assessment, administration and management of school, continual improvement. We will actively prepare the budget, human resources, new medical curriculum, various teaching-learning and assessment methods, administration supporting system and medical facilities to pass the accreditation of medical education and evaluation.
본 연구는 영·유아용 교재․교구 인증 평가에 관한 필요성을 영유아의 발달적 측면에서 살펴보고, 유아 교육과 보육 현장 및 기업체에서의 요구를 분석하였다. 그 결과 신뢰할만한 인증 시스템 도입 방안에 대하 여 교육 현장에서의 목소리와 기업체의 필요성을 확인하였고 국내외 평가인증에 대한 연구 동향을 살펴보 아, 이를 토대로 교재교구 평가인증 시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션을 구성해 보았다. 첫째, 국가차원의 인증 방 법으로서 유아교육과 보육현장 프로그램 인증 시스템의 체계와 같은 추천-비추천제이다. 둘째, 유아교육·보 육 및 관련학회와 민간업체 등과 공동으로 추진하는 컨소시엄 형태의 방안이다. 각각의 인증방법에 대한 장·단점을 살펴봄으로써, 교재교구 관련 기업체에는 영유아의 발달에 적합한 제품에 대한 기준을 마련해 줄 수 있으며, 앞으로의 우리나라 유아교육·보육 현장에는 질적으로 우수한 프로그램 및 교재교구의 보급에 보 탬이 되고자 한다.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) has been receiving a worldwide recognition as a scientific andsystemic sanitary management technology in the food safety. At present, mandatory HACCP for dairy products is appliedin dairy processing plants and milk collection stage, while it is not applied in dairy farm and transportation. Therefore, it isrequired to establish HACCP application in all dairy industrial areas. The purpose of this study is to suggest an effectiveapproach to implement HACCP chain system in domestic dairy products. Most lactic acid bacteria has been useful toimprove gastrointestinal disorders such as diarrhea, constipation and reduce colon cancer risk and hydrocholesterol inKorea. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has increasingly applied the HACCP-chain system to secure the safety oflivestock products. Therefore, we suggest for the introduction of HACCP chain system in the dairy industry as follows.First, the system needs political support to activate. Second, the enterprise needs to recognize that it is essential system inan era of a consumer. Third, it should be utilized as an effective tool to enhance a brand value in the market. If there areobstacles in the implementation process for dairy products, governments, academia and relevant institutions should resolvea dispute together, which might enhance the level of livestock processing industry and hygiene safety management.
