Chinese characters transitional form or be called intermediary form, has an important value for restoration and reconstruction of Chinese characters cognition development channels. The exploration of this form should be come from the social reality, investigate the real frequency and its impact position as a link between past and future.

Shuowenjieziyizheng is a book which is the only remaining in-depth study material of Chosun(朝鮮) dynasty that studies Chinese characters included in Shuowenjiezi. It consists of six volumes, using the bronze inscriptions to correct the errors of shuowenjiezi, and dealing with various graphonomical topics regarding Chinese characters. It has originality which differentiates itself from the opinions of Chinese scholars. This paper introduced the unique analysis on structure of Chinese characters in Shuowenjieziyizheng, and considered its significance.

The use of structures of Word Zhe is varied in Chinese bronze inscriptions, and the changing of this character is also very special. This paper enterprises Zhe which was recorded in <Jin Wen Da Zidian> and <Jin Wen Bian> as the key, and it has a systematical analysis and arrangement about those bronze inscriptions fonts. Moreover, this paper described the fonts development track of Zhe from Late Shang Dynasty to Warring States Period, and based on the summary and analysis on researches done before this paper also developed the concept of Zhe.

The Tripitaka Koreana ("Goryeo Daejanggyeong") wooden printing blocks have been recognized as a priceless Korean cultural heritage since the 13th century. They represent the advanced level of Buddhist studies at that time and its printing technology. The Tripitaka Koreana woodblocks also reflect the universal cultural values of 13th century East Asia. I will first examine the philological aspect of the Tripitaka Koreana. Then its historical and cultural background will be surveyed, including the time and places of its production, the supervisory organizations involved, and the purpose for its production. The meticulous production process of the Tripitaka Koreana woodblocks will be summarized beginning with the cutting of logs and the acquisition of Buddhist canon in preparation for the making of the printing woodblocks. Then, based on textual evidence, their enshrinement at Haein-sa Temple will also be explored from the aspects of the timing of its production and the possible transportation routes used for it relocation to Haein-sa. The Tripitaka Koreana has been printed several times in the pursuit of both national and private objectives. I will examine for whom and how often it has been printed. Lastly, the measures taken to preserve the Tripitaka Koreana will be explored. Many factors have contributed to their almost perfect preservation. Special techniques are evident in the preparation of the woodblocks, how the woodblocks are stacked on the repository shelves, and also in the location and construction of their repositories. Current research will be introduced which is being conducted to apply modern scientific techniques for their enhanced preservation and to better utilize the content of the Tripitaka Koreana in diverse cultural areas.

Based on the analysis of seven ancient and modern classic Chinese dictionary radical, the authors note that in this article: Xu Shen founded in 540 Chinese radicals, the dictionary has a profound impact on future generations. Since 540 radical is produced, the number and content of the dictionary radical changed. The general trends of the development of radical are from comples to simple, from decentralized to unity.

Kinds of explanations have been made for the outline and the meaning of the character “回”which appeared in the sentence “君王又（有）白玉三回而不察”written on the No.1slip and the sentence “吾倝（旃）又（有）白玉三回而不察才（哉）” written on the No.2 slip of The Piece“君人者何必安哉” Copied On The Bamboo Slips Of Chu Collected In Shanghai Museum Vol.7. With the explanations gathered and evaluated, a new suggestion, interpreting the character as “朽”，is given in the article.

The concrete analysis of the relationship between Chinese characters and its culture from the macroscopic and microcosmic viewpoint has been a very important research problem in the Chinese cultural background. Based on the “holographic theory of Chinese character”created by Mr. Xiao Qihong and its pursuit of the “holographic Chinese character high-effect pedagogy”, this paper first introduces his contribution and impact, then analyzes the deficiency with examples. What the researcher called science can not be illustrated scientifically, which sounds like jokes about Chinese characters, hence there are many places worth questioning and discussing and a deep reflection to weigh its pros and cons.

Two typical epitaphs of tang dynasties：epitaph of Qiang Wei（強偉） and epitaphs of Bao Lian（暴廉）, will be reviewed in this paper, for the mistake in such collection: Draft of Xue Tang（雪堂）、Assembly of Epitaphs of Tang Dynasty、Addendum of Entire Donovan.

Slips excavated at Xu Ning of Eastern Han are prayer-used bamboo and wooden slips collected by Museum of Historical Relics in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. According to writing material, writing style, writers, etc., they can be divided into two categories, with which certain problems on vocabulary interpretation are able to be solved and more can be known in terms of prayer ceremony in Eastern Han.

In this paper, interpretations of four inscriptions on seals in the Warring States Period included in the "Integration of Seals Unearthed in the Twentieth Century" have been re-examined and corrected.Four notes are as follows:the first one is 王,the second one is （賙-周）洀,the third one is 句虐,the last one is 庾沽.

The development of liberalism in China has been attracting attention from the international community and academic circles, also the attitudes towards liberalism plays a role in how the outside world views China. As the earliest and most influential translator of liberal thoughts, Yan Fu has not misinterpreted the classical liberalism advocated by John Stuart Mill, instead he confirmed its progressive nature and criticized its extremism. As the development of liberalism has undergone different paths in the West, it’s development in China is also constrained by the specific historical and social conditions rather than by its translation. The contradictions of liberalism is not only a historical issue, but also a reality issue; it does not only concern China but also the whole world, thus it calls for the concerted efforts of all nations to build a harmonious living space.

“Quan Yun Yu Pian”is a traditional dictionary which was compiled in the late 18th century in South Korea. It reflects the Chinese characters are how to be used and developed in South Korea. On one hand,“Quan Yun Yu Pian”is deeply affected in compiling style and explanation on the contents by“Yu Pian”and“Kang Xi Dictionary”. On the other hand, it has also a distinct individual characteristics. Our studies are based on the text and we hope to reveal the rules how the Chinese characters are changed and developed through the collation, analysis and research of the same characters.
