        The detection and measurement of faint features in cometary image is generally troublesome due to the high value of the ratio of the brightness of the nucleus to the tail, the large size and low surface brightness of the coma and tail and the disturbing presence of field stars trails. The image processing is based on background removal by median filtering. Sample results are shown for the case study of comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3.

        목적 : 감각 처리 질문지인 Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile(ASP)을 사용하여 한국 성인의 감각 처리 정도를 파악하고, 그 결과를 토대로 성인에서의 감각 통합의 중요성을 강조하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 22세에서 38세의 건강한 성인 남(160명), 여(190명)를 대상으로 ASP 설문을 실시하였다. ASP를 한국어로 번안하여 질문지를 완성한 후, 설문지를 대상자들에게 직접 나눠주고 수거하였다. 총 350부 배부하여 300부가 회수되었다(85%의 회수율). ASP 설문의 총 소요 시간은 15분 정도이고, 총 설문기간은 2007년 2월~3월이었다. 한국 성인의 감각 처리 정도는 평균과 빈도 분석을, 한국 성인의 감각 처리 평균 점수와 미국 표준치의 차이는 일 표본 t검정을 사용하였다. 결과 : 한국 성인의 감각 처리 4가지 영역 중 ‘낮은 감각 등록(Low Registration)’, ‘감각 민감성(Sensory Sensitivity)’, ‘감각 회피(Sensation Avoiding)’의 평균 점수는 ‘대부분의 사람들과 유사한 성향(Similar to Than Most People)을 나타낸다’에 해당되는 점수 분포였다. 반면 ‘감각 찾기(Sensation Seeking)’의 평균 점수는 평균보다 낮아 대부분의 사람들 보다 수동적인 행동 반응을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다. 빈도 분석을 통해 감각처리 정도를 살펴 본 결과 응답자의 약 57% 을 제외하고는 감각 처리에 부분적인 문제를 나타내었고, 한국성인의 평균값과 미국 표준치 비교에서도 유의한(p<.05)차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 결론 : 기존의 작업 치료에서는 감각 통합에 대한 연구가 대부분 아동에 국한되어 강조되어 왔으나, 본 연구 결과를 통해서 일반 성인들에게서의 감각 처리 성향을 알 수 있었고, 한국 표준치 제시의 필요성도 인식할 수 있었다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 한국의 표준치 제시에 대한 연구뿐만 아니라 감각 처리에 문제를 가진 성인을 대상으로 한 연구들이 많이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

        The bi-materials with Al-Mg alloy and its composites reinforced with SiC and particles were prepared by conventional powder metallurgy method. The A1-5 wt%Mg and composite mixtures were compacted under , and then the mixtures compacted under 400 MPa were sintered at for 5h. The obtained bi-materials with Al-Mg/SiCp composite showed the higher relative density than those with composite after compaction and sintering. Based on the results, the bi-materials compacted under 400 MPa and sintered at 873K for 5h were used for mechanical tests. In the composite side of bi-materials, the SiC particles were densely distributed compared to the particles. The bi-materials with Al-Mg/SiC composite showed the higher micro-hardness than those with composite. The mechanical properties were evaluated by the compressive test. The bi-materials revealed almost the same value of 0.2% proof stress with Al-Mg alloy. Their compressive strength was lower than that of Al-Mg alloy. Moreover, impact absorbed energy of bi-materials was smaller than that of composite. However, the bi-materials with Al-Mg/SiCp composite particularly showed almost similar impact absorbed energy to composite. From the observation of microstructure, it was deduced that the bi-materials was preferentially fractured through micro-interface between matrix and composite in the vicinity of macro-interface.

        차량방호 안전시설에 대한 성능의 검증은 충돌시험의 가속도와 각속도 데이터를 사용하여 산정한 탑승자 안전지수를 평가하여 이루어진다. 탑승자 안전지수로는 THIV(Theoretical Head Impact Velocity), PHD(Post-impact Head Deceleration), ASI(Acceleration Severity Index), OIV(Occupant Impact Velocity)와 ORA(Occupant Ridedown Acceleration)가 있다. 탑승자 안전지수 계산에 상이한 데이터 처리과정과 수치절차의 적용이 가능하기 때문에 동일한 시험 데이터에 대하여 다양한 탑승자 안전지수값이 결정될 수 있어서 혼란이 초래되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 다양한 상세절차와 데이터 처리과정이 탑승자 안전지수에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 지침에 제시된 계측시간간격을 사용하여 차량충돌시험이 수행된다면 보간법과 수치적분방법은 THIV와 OIV 값에 영향을 크게 미치지 않았다. 그리고 PHD에 대한 10msec 이동평균방법과 데이터 처리과정의 영점보정은 탑승자 안전지수에 상당한 영향을 미치기 때문에 이에 관한 구체적인 방법이 지침에 규정되어야 한다.

        Physicochemical and sensory characteristics of the green tea dasik varying the added value of oligosaccharide were investigated and the products were surveyed by elementary school students regarding the acceptability. Protein and ash contents were significantly higher and fat contents were significanlty lower in the samples with oligosaccharides compared to those in commercial ones(p<0.05). Commercial samples had significantly higher values in all of the textural characteristics using textural analyzer compared to those of the developed dasik sample groups. In analytical sensory evaluation, varying the amount of oligosaccharide, commercial samples had significantly higher values of sweetness, hardness, and cohesiveness and lower values of savory aroma and falvor compared to those of developed dasik(p<0.05). Savory aroma and flavor were highly negatively correlated with textural hardness, springiness, chewiness, gumminess, and cohesiveness(p<0.01), while sensory sweetness and hardness were significantly positively correlated with textural springiness(p<0.05), chewiness, gumminess, and cohesiveness(p<0.01). When surveying elementary school students regarding the acceptability of green tea dasik and commercial samples, green tea dasik 2 was the most preferred with significance in color. Regarding aroma, green tea dasik 1 received the highest acceptability (p<0.05). In the flavor, both dasik 1 and 2 received higher score than those of the commercial dasik. In overall acceptability, both green tea dasik 1 and 2 were preferred to the commercially sold ones with significance(p<0.05).

        Quality characteristics of dasik were studied with varied the levels of rice grain particle size and green tea powder and compared them with commercially sold dasik. Among the samples with the same number of grinding times, the sample groups with the higher amount of green tea showed significantly the less mosture content(p<0.05). Hardness was higher in the samples containing higher amount of green tea among the ones with the same grain size (p<0.05). The M13G0.5 was evaluated to have the highest savory aroma with significance (p<0.05), and C1 to have the highest sweetness by sensory analysis. The developed dasik samples with lower rice grain particle size had significantly lower adhesiveness, chewiness, gumminess, and cohesiveness compared to those of commercial sample groups. In sensory tests, the compared groups showed significantly the higher savory aroma and flavor and very lower hardness when compared to those of commercial sample groups. With the results above, dasik with with varied the levels of rice grain particle size and green tea powder were developed with improved qualities compared to those of commercially sold dasik.

        In this paper, we introduce the performance test results of digital data processing system for KVN (Korean VLBI Network). The digital data processing system for KVN consists of DAS (Data Acquisition System) and high-speed recorder which called Mark5B system. DAS system performs the digitalization of analog radio signal through ADS-1000 gigabit sampler with 1 Gsps/2-bit and process the digital filtering of digital signal. Mark5B system records the output data of DFB (Digital Filter Bank) with about 1 Gbps. In this paper, we carried out the preliminary evaluation experiments of the KVN digital data processing system connected between DAS system and Mark5B with VSI (VLBI Standard Interface) interface which is designed for compatible in each VLBI system. We first performed all of the KVN digital data processing system connected by VSI interface in the world. In factory inspection phase, we found that the DAS system has a memory read/write error in DSM (Digital Spectrometer) by analyzing the recorded data in Mark5B system. We confirmed that the DSM memory error has been correctly solved by comparing DSM results with Mark5B results. The effectiveness of KVN digital data processing system has been verified through the preliminary experiments such as data transmission, recording with VSI interface connection and data analysis between DSM and Mark5B system. In future work, we will perform the real astronomical observation by using the KVN 21m radio telescopes so as to verify its stability and performance.

        본 연구에서는 정서능력과 뇌반구 기능이 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이 주된 목적이었다. 남자 중학생 1,050명을 연구의 대상으로 하여 정서능력척도검사(Trait Meta-Mood Scale), 뇌 정보처리 특성 검사(Brain Preference Indicator Test), 그리고 공격성과 비행은 한국판 아동자기보고 검사(Korea Youth Self Report-Child Behavior Check List)를 사용하여 조사 연구하였다 연구 대상은 초기청소년기에 해당하는 남녀 중학생 1,479명을 표집하였다. 연구결과 문제행동을 많이 가진 집단은 보통 아동들에 비해 정서능력 요인중 정서의 명확성이 유의미하게 낮았으며, 자신에 대한 정서 주의는 많이 기울이는 것으로 나타났다. 뇌정보 처리에서는 주로 우반구 우세적 정보처리를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다 뇌정보처리 특성과 정서 명확성 그리고 정서주의가 문제행동의 하위 요인인 공격성향과 비행성향 모두 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 성별과 정서개선, 성별과 정서명료의 상호작용효과가 나타나, 이 두 요인이 공격성과 비행에 영향을 주는 효과가 남자와 여자학생 간에 다르게 나타났다.

        We developed a new program for automatic continuum normalization of Echelle spectrographic data. Using this algorithm, we have determined spectral continuum of almost BOES data. The first advantage of this algorithm is that we can save much time for continuum determination and normalization. The second advantage is that the result of this algorithm is very reliable for almost spectral type of spectrum. But this algorithm cannot be applied directly to the spectrum which has very strong and broad emission lines, for example Wolf-Rayet type spectrum. We implanted this algorithm to the program which was developed in the previous study. And we introduced more upgraded BOES data reduction program. This program has more convenient graphical user interface environment, so users can easily reduce BOES data. Lastly, we presented the result of study on line profile variation of magnetic Ap/Bp stars analyzed using this program.

        In this paper, we describe the radio astronomical data processing system implementation using Mark5B and its development. KASI(Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) is constructing the KVN (Korean VLBI Network) until the end of 2007, which is the first VLBI(Very Long Baseline Interferometery) facility in Korea and dedicated for the mm-wave VLBI observation. KVN will adopt the DAS (Data Acquisition System) consisting of digital filter with various function and 1Gsps high-speed sampler to digitize the radio astronomical data for analyzing on the digital filter system. And the analyzed data will be recorded to recorder up to 1Gbps data rates. To test this, we have implemented the system which is able to process 1Gbps data rates and carried out the data recording experiment.

        Several practical applications of melt-textured bulk superconductors require the complex-shaped products such as curved, ring-shaped, and drilled blocks rather than simple shaped pellets. However, melt-textured bulk superconductors are often damaged when they are cut, grinded, or drilled. With the aim of reducing such damages, we have investigated the preparation of the complex-shaped bulk superconductors by previously machining binder-added precursors and pre-sintered precursors. We could produce various complex-shaped bulk superconductors without cracking from these machined precursors
