        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of improving the retroreflectivity of pavement marking by increasing the refractive index of glass bead. METHODS : Pavement marking test-beds has been installed in National Highway 19, 42 and KICT Yeoncheon SOC Center. In testbeds several marking sections were installed for each type of marking materials and glass beads. In this test-beds initial dry and wet retroreflectivity were measured and analyzed. RESULTS : When the refractive index of glass bead was adjusted upward in water based paint(glass bead No.1→ No.2), dry retroreflectivity increased by about 30 to 70%, and wet retroreflectivity slightly increased by about 10 to 40%. When using glass bead No. 2 in water based paint, it was found to meet the standards of the Road Traffic Act. However, since wet retroreflectivity of water based paint slightly exceeds the standard value, a follow-up investigation is needed to determine how long this performance can be maintained. When using glass bead No.1 in MMA(methyl methacrylate), the average wet retroreflectivity was evaluated to be 128 to 150 mcd/lx/m2, and when using glass bead No.2, the average wet retroreflectivity was evaluated to be about 200 to 270 mcd/lx/m2. Accordingly, MMA showed the best performance compared to other paints. CONCLUSIONS : When using glass bead No.1 in water-soluble paints and thermoplastic, it did not meet the wet retroreflectivity standards of the Road Traffic Act. But when using glass bead No.2, it met the wet retroreflectivity standards. As a result of analyzing the road marking budget according to the upward adjustment of the refractive index of glass bead, it was analyzed that if only the material class was adjusted upward, the cost would increase by more than twice the current budget. In order to decrease this budget increase rate(to increase service life), it is necessary to strengthen quality control standards for pavement marking and develop scientific-systematic quality control techniques.

        지중점적 관수・관비 시스템은 지구온난화로 인한 물 부족과 낮은 토양비옥도 문제에 대응하기 위한 효율적인 방법의 하나로 주목받고 있다. 그러나, 국내 식량작물에 대한 지중점적 관수 효과, 특히 지중점적 관비와의 결합에 대한 이해와 관련 시스템 개발은 여전히 미미하다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 표면 관수 및 시비(CF)와 비교하여 지중점적 관수 및 관비 처리(SSF)에 따른 감자(Solanum tuberosum L.)의 성장 및 수량 특성을 측정하였다. 지중점적 처리를 위해, 경상국립대학교 실험 포장(583 m2)에서 점적관(Ø 14.1 ㎜, 1.6 L h-1)을 80 ㎝ 간격으로 깊이 40 ㎝에 매설하였다. 감자의 표준 시비량(N-P-K: 100-88-130 ㎏ ha-1) 중 일정량 기비(N-P-K: 50-48-90 ㎏ ha-1) 후, 잔여 시비량인 N-P-K: 50-40-40 kg ha-1을 괴경형성기와 괴경비대기에 절반씩 나누어 관비하였다. 감자 생육 특성 중 초장은 지중점적 처리구에서 가장 길게 나타났으나, 경직경은 대조구에서 가장 두껍게 나타났다. 총 수량과 상서용 수량은 각각 대조구에서 38.6 Mg ha-1, 27.4 Mg ha-1로 지중점적처리구와 비교하여 총 수량은 14.0%, 상서용 수량은 20.8% 높게 나타났다. 지중점적 관수 후 깊이 80 ㎝까지의 토양 단면조사에 따른 수분 분포는 10~35%의 수분함량을 보였으며, 모세관 확산 현상에 의해 중력으로 인한 수분의 하강이 우세하게 나타났다. 따라서, 사양토 조건에서 지중점적관수・관비 처리에 따른 감자의 생육과 물의 이동은 투입비용과 에너지 효율성을 고려한 작물 생산성을 높기기 위해 지중점적 관수시스템, 매설 깊이나 관수방법 등에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 검색어 – 관비, 관수, 물관리, 식량작물, 지중점적

        PURPOSES : In this paper, problems and improvements in pavement marking standards are proposed as a result of the analysis of domestic/foreign standards and field data. METHODS : In this study, the US FHWA and all state standards were analyzed and domestic pavement marking standards were compared and analyzed. In addition, national highway marking test data, namely the Yeoncheon Test-Bed data, and data from Hawkins et al. (2015) were analyzed. Based on this, problems and improvements in the Korean pavement marking standards are proposed. RESULTS : As a result of literature and field data analysis, various problems were found in the Road Traffic Act and National Police Agency manual. In this standard, there is no definition of Qd; the RD reference value is set too low; and the RW and RR reference values are difficult to be considered reasonable values. CONCLUSIONS : There is an aspect in which the standard items and values of pavement markings are set under some policy judgment. Therefore, it is necessary to properly revise the standards, considering technical and economic aspects.

        The external weather conditions including temperature and wind speed in the Saemangeum reclaimed land is different from that of the inland, affecting the internal environment of the greenhouse. Therefore, it is important to select an appropriate covering material considering the insulation effect according to the type and characteristics of the covering material considering the weather condition in the Saemangeum reclaimed land. A hexahedral insulation chamber was designed to evaluate the insulation efficiency of each glass-clad material in the outside weather condition in reclaimed land. In order to evaluate the insulation effect of each covering material, a radiator was installed and real-time power consumption was monitored. 16-mm PC (polycarbonate), 16-mm PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), 4-mm greenhouse glass, and 16-mm double-layered glass were used as the covering materials of the chamber. In order to understand the effect of the external wind directions, the windward and downwind insulation properties were evaluated. As a result of comparing the thermal insulation effect of each greenhouse cover material to single-layer glass, the thermal insulation effect of double-layer glass was 16.9% higher, while PMMA and PC were 62.5% and 131.2% higher respectively. On average the wind speed on the windward side was 53.1% higher than that on the lee-wind side, and the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the chamber at the wind ward side was found to be 52.0% larger than that on the lee ward side. During the experiment period, the overall heating operation time for PC was 39.2% lower compared to other insulation materials. Showing highest energy efficiency, and compared to PC, single-layer glass power consumption was 37.4% higher.

        A new strawberry cultivar ‘Misohyang’ was originated from the cross between ‘Darselect’ and ‘Wongyo 3111’ in 2009. Among hybrids, ‘Misohyang’, a superior individual possessing vigorous growth, capacity to early differentiate flower buds, and excellent physiological characteristics, was selected. Several tests conducted from 2012 to 2014 revealed that this cultivar was suitable for forcing culture due to its faster flowering and harvest time than ‘Seolhyang’. Fruits of ‘Misohyang’ were conical in shape with a red color, which turned dark red color when fruits were fully ripened. Although sugar contents in ‘Misohyang’ fruits were lower than those in ‘Seolhyang’, their aromatic properties were excellent in terms of synergy effect on perception of sweet flavor. In addition, ‘Misohyang’ fruits could maintain high hardness despite a warm temperature during spring. These physiological characteristics of fruits contribute to its high yields in spring, with an average fruit weight of 20 g. Regarding disease resistance, ‘Misohyang’ showed sensitivity to powdery mildew during nursery period and fruit ripening stage. Since the cultivar ‘Misohyang’ has an excellent flavor with attractive red color, sustainable hardness, and high yields in spring, it is expected to be popularly consumed not only for its fresh fruits, but also for its processed fruits.

        Soybeans are used for various purposes as a major source of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. This study was conducted to investigate the component changes in protein, amino acid, and antioxidant substances with different sowing periods by soybean varieties, as climate warming accelerates in recent years. The content of isoflavone according to early sowing did not differ by sowing period. However, it was confirmed that the content of isoflavone was higher in functional soybean cultivars such as Cheongja-5 having blue color at seed inside, Pungsan and Sowon used soybean sprouts, and Jinyang without fishy smell. There was no significant difference in the changes in protein and amino acid content according to the sowing time by soybean cultivars. The protein and amino acid content by early sowing tended to be lower than that of timely sowing. In most varieties except for some varieties, the content of proline was the highest by early sowing, confirming the presence of stress due to early sowing.

        본 연구는 붉나무와 참죽나무 추출물을 이용하여 딸기 흰가루병에 대한 천연 방제제의 방제 효과를 규명하기 위해 수행하였다. 딸기 흰가루병 친환경 방제제 개발을 위해 총 30종의 약용작물 추출물로 흰가루병 방제 효과를 시험한 결과 최종적으로 붉나무와 참죽나무 추출물을 선발하였다. 붉나무와 참죽나무 추출물을 단용 처리 시 방제가는 50~70% 범위로 일반 살균제보다 낮았다. 따라서 흰가루병 방제에 효과가 있다고 보고되고 있는 규산칼륨과 추출물을 혼용 처리하여 실험한 결과 방제 효과가 살균제와 비슷한 수준의 86%로 증대되었다. 규산칼륨과 추출물의 농도에 따른 방제 효과를 확인한 결과, 0.5%의 규산칼륨과 1,000배의 추출물이 적정 농도였다. 살포 횟수에 따른 방제 효과를 규명하기 위해 1회와 2회 처리를 실시한 결과 1회 처리 시 방제 효과가 13~14일로 나타났고, 3~4일 간격으로 2회 살포할 경우 30일 가량의 방제 기간을 가져 1회 처리보다 방제 효과가 더 우수하여 딸기 수확기 살균제 처리를 할 수 없는 기간에 방제가 가능한 것으로 나타났다.

        In this study, the adsorption/desorption performance of toluene was evaluated using zeolite adsorbent to replace activated carbon with one-off and ignition characteristics. For the proper operation of the VOCs adsorption/desorption and condensate recovery steps, the operating range by various adsorption/desorption temperatures was selected. The adsorbent is a bead-type zeolite, which was put into an adsorption tower of 10 LPM scale. As a result, it was demonstrated that 0.079 mg/g was adsorbed at a low temperature (20°C) during adsorption. In the case of desorption, it was found that VOCs adsorbed on the adsorbent were completely recovered after the desorption operation at 220°C for about 160 minutes. However, in the heating rate step for desorption, it was not possible to maintain an appropriate heating rate by filling the tower with zeolite. This was complemented by applying a copper plate with high thermal conductivity, and it was shown that the time was shortened by about 10 minutes or more. When VOCs are emitted at high concentrations during the desorption process, they can be reused as energy resources through low-temperature maintenance, and a condensation method was attempted. The efficiency of condensing chiller (cooler) with temperature control and liquid nitrogen condensing was compared. It was found that the chiller condensing efficiency increased as the temperature decreased. In the case of liquid nitrogen condensation, the liquid nitrogen temperature was maintained at -196°C, showing a stable efficiency of 90%.

        Known for its effectiveness in weight loss and diabetes prevention, Gymnema sylvestre products can be found in the US, Japanese, and Indian markets. However, the recommended dosage or safety of these products has not yet been proven. Therefore, development of an analytical method for detecting the content of Gymnema sylvestre in food products is required. Accordingly, this study proposes an analysis method that can examine Gymnema sylvestre in food using LC-ESI-MS/MS and KASP (Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR) markers. In LC-ESI-MS/MS, a simultaneous analysis method for gymnemic acid and deacylgymnemic acid was optimized using negative ionization mode, and its validation test was completed for solid and liquid samples. In addition, KASP markers were prepared by finding the specific SNP of G. sylvestre in ITS2 and matK through DNA barcodes. The two KASP markers returned positive FAM fluorescence result when combined with G. sylvestre, and this aspect was confirmed in raw G. sylvestre as well. The applicability of the method was tested on 21 different food and healthy functional products containing G. sylvestre purchased on the internet. As a result, although there was a difference in the ratios of gymnemic acid and deacylgymnemic acid in LC-ESI-MS/MS, the index component was detected in all 21 products samples. In the KASP analysis, 9 products returned positive FAM result, and the rest of the products were found to be containing G. sylvestre extract. This study is the first study to use the dual system of LC-ESI-MS/MS and KASP for the analysis of G. sylvestre. The study has confirmed that these two methods are applicable to the examine G. sylvestre content in food products.

        더덕은 뿌리를 약용 또는 식용으로 이용하고 있으며 최근 더덕 추출물의 약리효능이 각인되면서 기능성 식품의 원료로서 흥미를 끌고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 더덕의 주요한 사포닌인 lancemasides의 추출방법을 확립하고, UV (A, B, C) 처리와 발효(5종의 유산균 및 효모) 처리를 통해 더덕의 사포닌 함량을 증대시키고자 수행하였다. 추출방법은 autoclave를 이용한 열수 추출방법이 기존의 초음파 추출방법보다 추출 효율이 더 우수하였다. 더덕의 사포닌 함량을 증대시키기 위해 수확한 더덕 뿌리에 UV 처리와 발효 처리를 한 결과 UV 및 발효 처리는 각각 무처리에 비해 사포닌 함량이 약 20%, 22% 증가한 UV-C와 Bacillus subtilis 처리가 가장 효과적이었다. 또한 UV-C 처리의 경우 수확한 더덕 뿌리에서보다는 생육 중인 더덕 잎에 처리하는 것이 효과적이었다. 그러므로 더덕의 사포닌 함량은 생육 중인 더덕 잎에 UV-C 처리 후, 수확한 뿌리에 B. subtilis 발효 처리를 통해 87%까지 증대시킬 수 있었다. 이것은 UV-C 처리는 스트레스 초기에 반응하는 사포닌류 생성에 관여하고 발효 처리는 사포닌의 상 전환에 관여하여 사포닌 함량을 증대시키는 것으로 판단된다.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of additives that affect internal curing in order to reduce the damage occurring in concrete pavements. METHODS : SAP was used as an additive to reduce internal curing in concrete pavements. SAP is an additive that has a very high absorption rate which prevents concrete wrappers from externally draining water. To evaluate the internal curing performance according to the ratio of SAP, we identified the number of cracks and amount of abrasion reduction. RESULTS : Plastic shrinkage and durability of a concrete mixture with added SAP were evaluated. The following results were obtained: (1) SAP showed a tendency to reduce slumps due to absorption of the concrete mixture. (2) It was possible to verify that concrete condensation did not occur during the penetration resistance test and that the initial curing did not lead to reactions within the mixture. (3) Adding more than 0.6% of SAP for dry curing resulted in greater compressive strength at all ages than OPC, with the highest compression strength of 0.9% after 56 days. (4) Regarding abrasion resistance, it was found that adding SAP was 30~50% better than adding the OPC mixture, and at 0.9% compression strength, abrasion resistance showed the best performance. (5) In the chlorine ion immersion resistance experiment, the passing charge of the OPC mixture was rated “high,” but it was rated “normal” in SAP. The results showed that the addition of SAP improved the water density of concrete due to internal curing effects, and that it showed the greatest chlorine ion penetration resistance for a compressive strength of 0.9%. (6) Regarding plastic shrinkage resistance, cracks did not occur on the surface until the end of the experiment, but the plastic shrinkage rate upon addition of SAP was relatively low compared to that of the OPC mixture. CONCLUSIONS : Recent studies have shown that internal curing techniques can be applied using SAP to prevent shrinkage due to the loss of water and to decrease the effects of hydration. If internal curing effects are expressed using SAP, it is thought that contraction due to a loss of moisture and reduction in sign language reaction can be prevented.

        머신러닝 기법의 발달과 함께 기계에서 발생하는 다양한 종류(진동, 온도, 유량 등)의 데이터를 활용하여 기계의 상태를 진단하고 이상 탐지 및 비정상 분류 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 진동 데이터를 활용한 회전 기계의 상태 진단은 전통적인 기계 상태 모니터링 분야로 오랜 기간 동안 연구가 진행되었고, 연구 방법 또한 매우 다양하다. 본 연구에서는 가정용 에어컨에 사용되는 로터리 압축기에 가속도계를 직접 설치하여 진동 데이터를 수집하는 실험을 진행하였다. 데이터 부족 문제를 해결하기 위해 데이터 분할을 수행하였으며, 시간 영역에서의 진동 데이터로부터 통계적, 물리적 특징들을 추출한 후, Chi-square 검증을 통해 고장 분류 모델의 주요 특징을 추출하였다. SVM(Support Vector Machine) 모델은 압축기의 정상 혹은 이상 유무를 분류하기 위해 개발되었으며, 파라미터 최적화를 통해 분류 정확도를 개선하였다.

        본 연구에서는 합성가스의 에너지화를 위한 가스엔진 성능 평가를 수행하였다. 회전수 1800 rpm 조건에서 공기과잉률이 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 증가에 따른 엔진출력(kWm)과 열효율(%)을 평가한 결과, 공기과잉률 λ 1.4에서 엔진출력 34 kWm를 나타냈으며, 공기과잉률이 증가할수록 엔진 열효율은 전반적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 엔진출력 34 kWm 조건에서 공기과잉률이 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 증가시 열효율이 34.2%, 36.9%, 37.2%, 37.4%, 38.1%로 증가하였고, 발전출력을 통한 종합효율은 발전출 력 30 kWe 부하조건에서 38.7 kg/h의 연료를 소모하여 32.1%의 발전효율과 냉각수와 배기가스에서의 열 회수를 통해 57.3 kW의 폐열을 회수하여 53.8%의 열을 회수하여 총 85.8%의 종합효율을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

        PURPOSES: This study developed a new backfill method for mini trenching. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of the new backfill method in the field. METHODS: In this study, asphalt pavement was created to verify mini trenching. Trenching test sections were then made in various trench widths in the asphalt pavement. The trench widths were 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm. For the trenching test section, a general backfill method and new backfill method (2-layer SCB) were devised and applied. To evaluate the test section, a vehicle loading test and FWD (falling weight deflectometer) test were performed. RESULTS : In the vehicle loading test, the duct vertical strain of the general section was up to 22 times larger than that of the 2-layer SCB section. According to the results of the FWD test, the D0 deflection of the 2-layer SCB section was smaller than that of the general section. These results indicate that 2-layer SCB has a good structural performance. With the use of FWD data, BLI (base layer index) and MLI (middle layer index) were analyzed. BLI is an indirect index for evaluating base layer. The BLI of the 2-layer SCB section was smaller than that of the general section, because the bottom layer (cellular mortar) of the 2-layer SCB is superior to that of the general section. MLI, on the other hand, is an indirect index for evaluating subbase layer. As the trench width increases, MLI increases. The MLI of the 2-layer SCB section was smaller than that of the general section. These results indicate that the damage is relatively greater when the trench width increases and that the 2-layer SCB strengthens a relatively weakened subbase. CONCLUSIONS: In this study, the performance of the 2-layer SCB was analyzed. The results of the study showed that good performance was obtained when 2-layer SCB was applied to a mini trenching section.

        내진설계기준이 개정됨에 따라 기 시공된 철근콘크리트 건축구조물의 내진보강에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 특히 내진철근상세가 적용되지 않은 철근콘크리트 기둥의 경우 지진이 발생할 경우 취성적인 전단파괴가 발생할 가능성이 크다. 본 연구에서는 아라미드 FRP를 이용하여 비내진상세 철근콘크리트 기둥의 휨 및 전단내력 보강 후, 실험체를 반복횡하중 가력하여 아라미드 FRP의 내력 상승효과 및 연성능력의 증가를 확인하였다. 무보강 및 아라미드 FRP 보강 실험체를 비교 한 결과 아라 미드 FRP 보강이 비내진상세 철근콘크리트 기둥의 내력을 증가시키고 연성능력 또한 증가시킴을 확인하였다. 또한 비내진상세 철근콘크리트 기둥의 아라미드 FRP 보강 시 기둥 뿐만 아니라 접합부의 보강 또한 필요함을 확인하였다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics and volatile flavor components of Doonuri wine, using freeze concentration. The freeze concentration can increase the sugar concentration in grape juice by reducing its water content. In this study, after eight days od fermentation, the alcohol content of freeze-concentrated Doonuri wines was 12.5~14.1%. The pH of the wine was 3.42~3.50 and the total acid content was 0.68~0.94 g/100 mL, respectively. The brghtness of freeze-concentrated Doonuri wines was 19.28~54.42, the redness was 41.98~49.58, and the yellowness was 36.16~42.36. The organic acid analysis of Doonuri wines was that most of the organic acids contain tartaric and malic acid. By using freeze concentration with grape juice, significant increase in the total polyphenol content of Doonuri wines was 122.40~137.26 mg/mL, the total anthocyanin content was 117.06~ 118.40 mg/L and the tannic acid content was 66.23~83.70 mg%. In GC/MS analysis, the volatile flavor component analysis of Doonuri wines identified six alcohols, five esters, two ketones, on acid, two alkanes, and four other compounds.

        머루(Korean wild grape)는 포도과에 속하는 덩굴성 낙엽 활엽성 식물로 우리나라 전역에 분포하며, 과립이 작고 신맛이 강하여 와인용으로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 2016년 대한민국 와인축제에서 판매된 제조원이 다른 8개의 머루 와인을 구입하여 일반 품질 특성과 기능성 성분 및 생리활성을 비교 분석하였다. 시판 머루와인의 pH는 3.86~4.22, 총산은 0.56~ 0.75%, 알코올 함량은 9.8~14.3%, 당도는 8.8~15.8 °Brix를 나타내었다. 유리아황산 함량은 0~15.80 mg/L, 총아황산 함량은 7.33~93.33 mg/L로 분석되었다. 머루와인의 hue 값은 0.81~1.02를 나타내었으며, color intensity는 10.92~22.49로 국산 캠벨얼리로 만든 와인에 비해 색의 강도가 강한 것으로 나타났다. 와인의 색도 중 명도(L값)는 0.77~5.55, 적색도(a값)는 3.97~31.16, 황색도(b값)는 0.99~5.63으로 나타났다. 유리당 함량을 분석한 결과, 3종은 드라이 와인, 5종은 스위트 와인인 것으로 조사되었으며, 유기산 함량 중 사과산은 0.879~ 2.547 mg/mL, 젖산은 4.281~9.606 mg/mL로 이들 비율로 볼 때 시판 머루와인은 대부분 말로락틱 발효가 이루어진 것으로 판단된다. 시판 머루와인의 총 폴리페놀 함량은 158.53~ 172.24 mg%, 총 안토시아닌 함량은 356.69~601.33 mg/L로 일반적인 캠벨얼리 와인에 비해 전반적으로 높은 함량을 함유하였으며, DPPH 라디칼 소거능 분석 결과, 57.23~73.98%가 분석되었다. 머루 와인의 향기 성분 분석 결과, 검출된 휘발성 향기성분은 총 35종이며, 알코올류는 7종, 에스테르류는 16종, 산류는 5종, 테르펜류는 3종, 기타 화합물은 4종으로 나타났다.

        This study investigated the quality characteristics of jujube wines produced from various fruits (Campbell Early, aronia, apply). Before the preparation of jujube wine, jujube juice was extracted using hot water (100℃, 2 hr). Different blends of jujube wines were produced by blending jujube juice with various fruits using Saccharomyces cerevisiae. After 18 days of fermentation, the alcohol content of jujube wines ranged between 11.5~12.7%. The pH of the wine ranged from 3.31 to 3.53 and the total acid content from 0.47 to 0.68%. The hue value of jujube wines ranged from 0.88 to 2.21 and the color intensity ranged from 0.93 to 6.29. The brightness of jujube wines ranged from 32.35 to 92.47, the redness from 0.85 to 59.05, and the yellowness from 17.35 to 51.02. By combining aronia with jujube juice, a significant increase in the total polyphenol content and the antioxidant activity (the DPPH radical scavenging activity) of the wine was observed. The total polyphenol content (401.77 mg%) and the antioxidant activity (76.29%) were the highest in the jujube wine blended with aronia. The total anthocyanin content of jujube wines ranged from 81.66 to 135.98 mg% and the tannic acid content from 42.48 to 316.36 mg%. Based on the results of the present study, we suggest that jujube wine produced by blending jujube juice with aronia had excellent quality as well as quality characteristics of the wine.
