        목적: 중·고등학생 및 대학생들의 미용칼라 콘택트렌즈 착용실태를 조사하여 올바른 착용 및 관리를 위한 가이드라인을 제시하는 데 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 방법: 2012년 6월부터 2013년 5월까지 콘택트렌즈를 구매하고자 안경원에 내원한 고객 중 설문에 응한 여자 중·고등학생 및 대학생 500명(중학생: 186명, 고등학생: 158명, 대학생: 156명)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 결과: 총 대상자 500명 중 316명(63.2%)이 미용칼라렌즈를 착용하였으며, 그 중 191명(60.45%)이 2조 이상의 렌즈를 보유하였다. 처음 착용 시기는 중학교 1학년 때가 149명(47.15%)으로 가장 많았고, 친구의 영향이 236명(74.68%)으로 가장 많았다. 미용칼라 콘택트렌즈 선택의 기준은 색상이 140명(43.06%)으로 가장 많았고, 하루 착용시간은 4~6시간이 86명(27.22%)으로 가장 많았으며, 렌즈 교체주기는 1~3개월이 81명(25.63%)으로 나타났다. 친구와 함께 미용칼라 콘택트렌즈를 착용한 경험은 102명(32.28%)이 ‘있다’로 응답하였으며, 보관용기에 대한 소독은 ‘한다’가 220명(69.62%)이었으며, 용기의 교체주기는 1~3개월이 76명(47.27%)으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 미용칼라 콘택트렌즈에 대한 가장 큰 부작용은 건조감(빈도: 2.72±1.05, 정도: 2.79±1.24), 불편감(빈도: 2.43±0.89, 정도: 2.39±1.15) 순으로 나타났다. 결론: 미용칼라 콘택트렌즈의 착용이 점점 증가하고 있으며 처음 착용시기도 어려지고 있으나, 관리방법 및 취급에 대한 지도가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 보관용기를 포함한 콘택트렌즈 관리와 교체주기에 대한 충분한 지도 및 지속적인 사후관리가 필요한 것으로 생각된다.

A Sociolinguistic Study on the name of Korean and Koreans' language attitudes toward the name: Focused on teenage high school students and their parents. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea 21(3). This paper aims to compare the characteristics of name and language attitudes towards name of teenage high school students and their parents. This thesis carried out a nationwide survey and as a result drew out several important conclusions. First, the percentage of Sino-Korean name was the highest; the rate of the native name of teenage high school students is two times higher than that of their parents, and more male students had Sino-Korean name than female students. Second, the percentage of parents taking part in the naming process was 60% in parents generation, whereas the percentage of parents and grandparents respectively taking part in the naming process were similar in teenage high school students. This result indicates that grandparents became to play a bigger role in the naming process due to their socio-economic status. Third, the percentage of using the generation character(hangryeol) decreased in teenage high school students, indicating that people are not bound to traditions. Fourth, the rate of female parent who were unsatisfied with their names was the highest. It suggests that there was a social preference of a son to a daughter. Fifth, the parents replied that the most desirable namer is father, followed by naming specialist, and students replied father followed by grandparents. Sixth, the number of students who answered that fetus names are necessary was two times bigger than their parents, and it seems likely that fetus names will be popular in the future as well. Hereafter, by carrying out nationwide surveys of different age groups(their late teens and 40's or 50's), this paper intends to study how the characteristics of Korean name and Koreans' language attitudes towards it changed through different age groups.         This study investigated factors affecting the behavior hurdles by six male high school student athletes and six average high school students using the ground reaction force and video analysis equipment. The conclusions by comparative analysis of kinematic and kinetic elements for stable operation of the high school men's hurdles to help effective guidance are as follows. 1. The analysis of Kinematics. First, required time of the athlete by all each section in the duration from ground of the stamping foot to stamping of landing foot appeared to be shorter than average students. Second, variation of height in variable distance from the center of the body changes the height of the cloud initiative is high ground and not out in the player. After that, the highest score of body-centered rather was recorded by general student. However, athlete showed higher score again in landing and stamping by landing foot. Third, athlete showed higher sway velocities in all section at variable speed. General students showed higher landing speed at the landing position. Fourth, athlete maintains the leaning forward upper body position at the stamping and landing situation. Especially in the highest score in body-centered, athlete showed over 20 degree than general students. Fifth, Athlete showed faster angular view than general student in all section. 2. The analysis of kinetic variable First, the athlete exerts rear position in the variation of before and after ground reaction force of stamping foot. In contrast, general student exerts front position. Second, Fx, Fy, Fz of the resultant change in the maximum measurement of R (max) values in the ground reaction force of stamping foot showed much stronger stamping food force in athletes than in the general student. Third, athlete and general student exerts outside and inside direction, respectively, at the variation of ground reaction force from landing and stamping position. Forth, athlete recorded higher than 1.5 time than general student at the variation of combined force of Fx, Fy, and Fz of ground reaction force of laning foot. In conclusion, the instruction of raising stamping foot to the forward direction to lean the upper body in the forward is needed for the general student to natural hurdle action. At that time, undisturbed balance at the center body must be maintained by both arms and flexibility training should be concurrent for forward dirction attention. General student should practice to roll shortly and strongly when they are stamping. In order to instruct the student proper posture through the hurdles classes, the exercises for basic strength and flexibility should be conducted simultaneously. Also, the instruction will be effective, if let the students practice the hurdle motion with understanding of principle of the body for jump.

        가상 야외 답사(VFT)는 전통적인 야외 답사의 매력적인 대안으로 간주되지만, 지구과학 교육과정에서 어떻게 가장 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는지는 아직 명확하지 않다. 이 연구에서는 플래시 파노라마 기반 VFT를 활용한 지구과학 수업이 고등학교 학생들의 공간 시각화 능력과 화산 개념 이해에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 플래시 파노라마 기반 VFT 활용의 효과를 알아보기 위해 수업 처치 사전 및 사후에 공간 시각화 능력 및 화산 개념 검사를 실시하였으며, 수업 처치 결과를 분석하기 위해 공변량 분석과 선형 회귀 분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단의 공간 시각화 능력 향상 정도가 통제 집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 더 높게 나타났다. 특히, 공간 시각화 능력의 세 가지 하부 범주 중 공간 조작 능력 향상이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대부분의 범주에서 실험 집단의 화산 개념 이해 향상 정도가 통제 집단에 비해 더 높게 나타났으나, 1개 범주를 제외하고 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 아니었다. 셋째, VFT 활용 후 실험 집단이 통제 집단에 비해 공간 시각화 능력과 화산 개념 이해 간의 상관관계가 현저하게 증가하였다.

        The objective of this study was to analyze the awareness and satisfaction regarding Korean traditional foods in elementary, middle, and high school students. In a survey of 1,030 students, 55.9% of the total respondents stated that traditional Korean food is 'Korean food that uses unique Korean recipes' (p<0.001). In terms of awareness of traditional food, most middle and high school students responded that the mass media was the biggest influence, while elementary students said that their parents were the most pervasive influence. In terms of satisfaction with traditional food served in school, 13 menus had the highest popularity among elementary school students. Most elementary school students preferred Korean traditional foods compared to middle and high school students.         이 연구의 목적은 자살생각과 절망, 우울, 스트레스와의 관계를 살펴보고, 이들 간의 구조적 관계모형을 탐색하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 중ㆍ고등학교 학생 600명과 대학생 168명을 대상으로 인구사회학적 변인과 스트레스 척도, 절망 척도, 우울 척도, 자살생각 척도로 구성된 설문지를 사용하여 그 변인들 간의 관계와 특성을 탐구하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 자살생각에 대해 청소년과 대학생 집단의 차이가 검증되었다. 둘째, 성별을 제외한 모든 변수들은 서로 유의한 상관을 가짐을 알 수 있었으며, 대처신념을 제외한 모든 척도들은 서로 양의 상관을 가지고 있었다. 또한 대처신념의 저하가 자살을 이르게 할 수 있는 위험한 변수임을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 청소년 집단도 대학생 집단과 마찬가지로 우울과 절망에 대한 자살의 회귀효과가 유의하였다. 자살생각에 대한 모든 예측변수와 매개변수인 스트레스의 효과를 알아본 결과, 매개변수인 스트레스가 자살생각에 대하여 독립적인 효과를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구의 의의와 그 시사점을 논하고 제언을 제시하였다.

        This study was performed to investigate the eating habit, body image, and weight control behavior by BMI in Korean female high school students. Data on the 16, 574 subjects was obtained from the sixth Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (2010). Only 52.2% of the subjects had regular breakfast. The rate of skipping breakfast was higher in the underweight group than in the obese group, but the rate of skipping dinner was on the contrary to this. Underweight students had a higher intake frequency of fruits, fast food, instant noodle, and snacks than the obese groups. 3.5% of underweight students considered themselves to be overweight or obese. 53.4% of obese students considered themselves to be overweight. The experience of weight control increased according to BMI, but underweight students considered weight control as an effort to be slimmer. Meal restriction was used more frequently to control weight. The perceived stress level was higher in obese student, especially due to appearance. Therefore, an appropriate, integrated and personalized high school nutrition program should be established for proper body image perception and to develop the self-esteem of female high school students.

        Thís study ínvestigated the effect of students’ background characterístícs on their performance on the NAEA (Natíonal Assessment of Educational Achíevement). In thís study, 6th, 9th ’ and 11 th grade students' Englísh scores on the NAEA ín the year of 2004 were employed. ßased on prevíous studíes, ten student varíables were selected. The fo l1owíng two research questíons were addressed. Fírst, what ís the rel atíonshíp between student varíables and NAEA scores? Second, to what extent does the predíctíve power of varíables díffer across the school level? Two statistical analyses (correlatíon and híerarchícal regressíon analysís) were performed us ing the SPSS version 18.0. Results of correlation analysis revealed that ‘ understanding in English class' was híghly correlated with NAEA scores . Results of the híerarchícal regressíon analysís showed that ‘ understandíng ín Englísh class ' was the best predíctor of NAEA scores across the school level. The predíctíve power of ‘tlme spent on prívate tutoring or c1asses taken at private institutions’ became weaker, as the school level íncreases from elementary to hígh school. The predíctive power of ‘ self-study tíme' became stronger, as the school level increases. The findíngs províde practical ímplícatíons for polícy-makers wíth respect to íncreasing EngIísh achievement.

        This study investigated the effects of pairing based on English proficiency and gender on high school students’ speaking task performance. A total of 16 high school students - 4 female advanced, 4 female intermediate, 4 male advanced, and 4 male intermediate learners - performed two information gap tasks spotting differences between two pictures, once with a same-level learner and once with a different-level learner. Their performance was analyzed in terms of degree of task completion, amount of utterances and fluency. The results showed (a) advanced level learners performed the task more accurately, more fluently, and in higher length when they were paired with advanced level learners than paired with lower level learners, although the differences were not significant; (b) For intermediate level learners, male students demonstrated a better performance when paired with higher level learners, but female students performed better when paired with the same level learners. The findings are discussed with regard to more feasible and more effective ways of grouping for pair work in high school English classes.
