For the last two decades, remanufacturing has drawn attention for its expected economic and environmental benefits and becomes a matter of strategic importance not only for manufacturers, but also for nations, as can be seen in such advanced countries as the US and some other European countries. In light of the experiences of those countries, it is highly recommended that Korean manufacturing companies as well as the government take into consideration the remanufacturing of their products, with a view to making contribution to global society by reducing the carbon-foot-prints of their products. This paper shows that the implications of remanufacturing the laser multi-function peripherals(MFPs) can provide with a good start in discussing and implementing the concept of remanufacturing a variety of different industrial products.

국방무기체계 연구개발 사업은 타 사업 분야보다 많은 사업적 위험요소를 안고 있다. 현대 무기체계의 첨단화, 복합화 추세는 개발기간의 장기화, 사업의 대형화, 개발비용의 상승화의 요인이 되고 있으며, 기술적인 불확실성에 대한 위험요소도 더욱 확대되고 있다. 이러한 필요성으로 국방 분야에 과학적 사업관리를 위한 EVMS를 도입하여 다양하게 적용시키고 있으며 그 효용성도 점차로 증대되어가고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 이러한 개선 노력에도 불구하고 여전히 무기체계 획득의 성공적 구비조건은 아직 불충분하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문헌 연구와 사례연구, 설문 분석을 통하여 추진되고 있는 무기체계 개발의 EVMS 적용실태와 문제점을 과학적 기법(EVMS)의 도입 본래의 목적과 취지에 부합하기 위한 프로젝트 관리(Project Management)측면에서 분석하여 효율적 사업관리를 수행할 수 있는 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The speed at which products are developed and released to market is tightly linked to profitability and market share. Hence, many companies are still in a desperate need of real Rapid Tooling (RT) technologies which can really help to expedite their prototype tooling and pre -production tooling for injection molding. Many other companies that have been very skeptical of RT technologies developed so far are working on Hybrid Tooling (HT) that can really meet the market standards. With the conviction that HT can be a reliable alternative for current RT technologies, this paper describes the experimentation how HT process has been being successfully established and effectively applied with typical case studies. Through the experimentation, Ceramic-filled HT was found to be aptly suited for the low grade mold, and Metal HT was found to be aptly suited for the medium volume mold both in terms of the lead time, dimensional accuracy, and tooling cost.

There has been a huge progress in semiconductor manufacturing processes such as reduction of the design rule(DR) and development of multi-processes. And, semiconductor industries have steadily extended its business and market share by reducing the design rule(DR) and enlarging the wafer size as well as by resolving many difficult technical problems through various noble approaches in order to reduce the production cost and to improve the yield. In semiconductor manufacturing, there is a significant difference in the number of memory chips produced according to the wafer size, wafer yield, and the level of the design rule even though the same number of wafers were put to the manufacturing process. So, almost all semiconductor manufacturing companies reach the conclusion that the enlarged size of wafer should be adopted in order to enhance the productivity and reduce the production cost. Thus, in this study, we investigate the specifications of the key functions and capabilities of the necessary modules in the yield analysis and improvement system required to acquire the stationary wafer yield with considering the 450mm wafer manufacturing system. Then the results of this research will be helpful for constructing the advanced yield analysis and improvement system called Real-Time Fault Monitoring and Detection (RTFMD) system.

제품의 제제조에 관한 연구는 최근 녹색사업(green business)으로서 주목을 받고 있는 청정생산 중 재활용의 한 부분으로서 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 리스크분석방법을 활용하여 재제조 가능성을 진단하는 실용적 기술을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 재제조 설계과정에서 리스크평가를 지원하기 위해 각 프로세스의 안전수준을 반영할 수 있는 위험성분석표와 리스크 분류매트릭스를 개발하였다. 평가를 위한 분석표는 고품(core)을 재제조할 가치가 있는지에 대한 의사결정을 하는데 필요한 기준자료가 된다.

서비스에 대해 여러 가지의 정의가 있다. 서비스를 바라보는 관점에 따라서 크게 고객과 서비스 제공자 간의 상호작용(Interaction)으로 보는 정의, 전달 프로세스(Delivery Process)로 보는 정의, 고객에게 경험(Experience)을 제공하는 것으로 보는 정의이다. 이처럼, 관점에 따라 다양 하게 정의되는 서비스 개발이나 설계를 위한 서비스 모델링 방법으로 기존연구에서 주로 사용하는 방법은 시나리오 방법, 블루프린트 방법, Function Analysis 방법 등을 사용한다. 본 연구에서는 서비스를 고객 요구에 대한 서비스 제공자의 반응으로서 전달 프로세스로 정의 하고, 서비스 프로세스는 Functions의 집합으로 이루어진다. 서비스 제공이 유형의 제품생산과 다른 가장 큰 특징 중 하나는 생산과 소비가 동시에 이루어진다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 서비스의 동시성을 고려한 서비스 설계 방법으로서 Job Mapping Chart를 제시하며, Job은 Functions으로 구성되는 하나의 전달 프로세스로 정의된다. Job을 구성하는 Functions은 Contacts, Informations, Activities의 3가지 요소로 표현한다.

This paper analyzes the difference between theoretical cost of quality and real world cost. Examined are the theoretical cost structure of quality, it's measurement styles, a process based improvement strategy of quality cost, and possible adaptation of decision making concepts in enhancing the cost structure. 한국 주식시장은 외국인 투자자들이 매수하면 주가가 오르고 그들이 매도하면 주가가 하락하는 현상이 가장 큰 특징 중의 하나가 되었다. 본 논문은 한국 주식시장의 주도세력이면서 가장 높은 수익률을 창출하는 외국인 투자자의 매매동향을 검토하고 그들의 매매패턴을 이용해 리스크를 회피하며 손실을 최소화하는 방안을 검토해 이를 실제적으로 주식시장에 실증적으로 적용한 연구이다. 본 논문은 코스닥 시장을 기준으로, 월간 기준 수십억 수백억으로 매수해 들어오는 외국인의 매매동향 데이터에 대한 실증적인 분석을 통해 리스크 회피 프로세스를 정립하고자 하였다. 구체적으로는 1)외국인의 순매수대금이 20억 이상인 종목 가운데 2)외국인의 지분증가가 크고 3)순매수율이 높을수록 리스크 발생 가능성이 현저하게 줄어듦을 확인하고 동시에 안정적인 수익을 낼 수 있는 실제적인 가능성이 매우 높게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 논문의 의의는 개인투자자들도 외국인의 매매동향을 잘 분석하고 이용하면 리스크 발생을 최소화하면서 동시에 그들보다 안정적인 투자가 가능하다는 것을 보여줬다는데 있다.

The costs of large computing facilities like data centers were dominated by the costs of the information technology (IT) equipment that they have in 1990s. As the indirect cost of IT has increased, Total Cost of Ownership(TCO) analysis is required to find the lifetime costs of acquiring, operating, and changing IT equipment. Nowadays, electricity-related costs such as the electrical power used by IT equipment and the facility costs associated with powering and cooling IT equipment has sharply grown. Nonetheless, those electricity-related costs have been underestimated up to now. In this paper, we will develop TCO model for a high performance computing data center and perform TCO analysis. We will also show that the trend towards growing electricity-related IT equipment costs continue, direct IT equipment acquisition costs will not be an critical factor of the economics of computing services.

Generally, the system evolution is oriented toward the gradual diminution of human effect on the system. TRIZ is introducing the direction of technical system through the 'Law of Technology Evolution'. And Design Structure Matrix(DSM) can show the relationship among elements in a way easy to understand. Oh and Park stated that the direction of system evolution could be modeled by applying the ‘Law of Technology Evolution’ of TRIZ to DSM. This paper aims to validate the effectiveness by applying the evolution model - which applies DSM- to the hypothetical combat helicopter.

This paper proposes the Data Architecture implementation process and the suggestions for automation which will enable the analyzing and measuring of the data structure as well. We verified the standardization of data that proposes a baseline for minimum quality, communications with stakeholder within an information system, minimization of application changes, and the effect of data values on quality improvement. The baseline is tested through the measurement and assessment of the quality indicator of a data structure as well as a quality control process deduced during the implementation.
