        This study aims to examine the relationships between total quality management(TQM) practices and operational performance perceived by employees who are in different organization types, R&D organization and Non-R&D organization in manufacturing companies. Operational performance is defined as the degree of operation efficiency in the perspective of quality, delivery, and cost. Our study showed that the degree of TQM practice has significant difference in organization type. In case of R&D organization, the categories of customer focus and process management were the strongest significant predictors of operational performance. Therefore, the optimal TQM practices for R&D organization can be obtained in consideration of customer focus and process management.

        본 연구에서는 과거의 비과학적인 포장관리의 한계를 극복하기 위해, 포장 상태를 정확하게 판단하고. 분석하여 적절한 유지보수 방법을 제시할 수 있는 경제적이고 효율적인 포장도로 유지관리 시스템(PMS)을 개발하였다. 우선 PMS에 관한 국내 외 자료와 서울시 포장 조사 데이터를 이용해서 포장 조사에서 분석 평가, 의사 결정 등의 일련의 과정에 대한 논리적 알고리즘을 구성하고, 국내 외 연구사례와 상세육안조사 결과를 통해서 이러한 알고리즘의 적합성을 평가하였다. 또한 개발된 알고리즘을 바탕으로 도로 관리자가 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 통합 시스템으로서 PMS 프로그램과 GIS 프로그램을 개발하였다.

        Human embryonic stem (hES) cells can be induced to differentiate into tyrosine hydroxylase expressing (TH+) cells that may serve as an alternative for cell replacement therapy for Parkinson's disease (PD). To examine in vitro differentiation of hES (MB03, registered in NIH) cells into TH+ cells, hES cells were induced to differentiate according to the 4-/4+ protocol using retinoic acid (RA), ascorbic acid (AA), and/or lithium chloride (LiCl) followed by culture in N2 medium for 14 days, during which time the differentiation occurs. Immunocytochemical stainings of the cells revealed that approximately 21.1% of cells treated with RA plus AA expressed TH protein that is higher than the ratio of TH+ cells seen in any other treatment groups (RA, RA+LiCl or RA+AA+LiCl). In order to see the differentiation pattern in vivo and the ability of in vitro differentiation-induced cells in easing symptomatic motor function of PD animal model, cells (2 10 cells/2) undergone 4-/4+ protocol using RA plus AA without any further treatment were transplanted into unilateral striatum of MPTP-lesioned PD animal model (C57BL/6). Following the surgery, motor behavior of the animals was examined by measuring the retention time on an accelerating rotar-rod far next 10 weeks. No significant differences in retention time of the animals were noticed until 2 weeks post-graft; however, it increased markedly at 6 weeks and 10 weeks time point after the surgery. Immunohistochemical studies confirmed that a reasonable number of TH+ cells were found at the graft site as well as other remote sites, showing the migrating nature of embryonic stem cells. These results suggest that in viかo differentiated hES cells relieve symptomatic motor behavior of PD animal model and should be considered as a promising alternative for the treatment of PD.

        In this paper, we make clear the success factors of ERP through the demonstrative analysis for introduction of ERP in company. We derive the influence factor when the ERP package is introduced in company by observing the condition of present ERP package, and study the relationship of successful introduction of ERP and the characteristics of organizational environment and information system. Furthermore, we show the useful material to guide the way of successful introduction for the company which has a plan to introduce the ERP system.

        Generally, truss design has been determined by the designer's experience and intuition. But if we perform the most economical structural design we must consider not only cross-sections of members but also configurations(howe, warren and pratt types etc.) of single truss as the number of panel and truss height. The purpose of this study is to develope automated optimum design techniques for steel truss structures considering cross-sections of members and shape of trusses simultaneously. As the results, it could be possible to find easily the optimum solutions subject to design conditions at the preliminary structural design stage of the steel truss structures. In this study, the objective function is expressed as the whole member weight of trusses, and the applied constraints are as stresses, slenderness ratio, local buckling, deflection, member cross-sectional dimensions and truss height etc. The automated optimum design algorithm of this study is divided into three-level procedures. The first level on member cross-sectional optimization is performed by the sequential unconstrained minimization technique(SUMT) using dynamic programming method. And the second level about truss height optimization is applied for obtaining the optimum truss height by three-equal interval search method. The last level of optimization is applied for obtaining the optimum panel number of truss by integer programming method. The algorithm of multi-level optimization programming technique proposed in this study is more helpful for the economical design of plane trusses as well as space trusses.

        N2처리에 의해 Si (001) 기판에 형성된 C49상의 구조를 갖는 에피택셜 TiSi2상의 열적 거동과 결정학적 특성을 X선 회절법 (XRD)과 고분해능 투과전자현미경법 (HRTEM)으로 조사하였다. 에피택결 C49-TiSi2상은 1000˚C 정도의 고온에서도 안정상인 C54상으로 상변태하지 않고 형태적으로도 고온 특성이 우수하다는 것이 밝혀졌다. HRTEM 결과로부터 에피택결 TiSi2상과 Si 사이의 결정학적 방위관계는 (060) [001]TiSi2//(002) [110]Si임을 알 수 있었고 계면에서의 격자 변형에너지는 misfit 전위의 형성에 의하여 해소되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 HRTEM상의 해석과 원자 모델링을 통하여 Si에서 에피택셜 C49-TiSi2상의 형성기구와 C49상의 (020) 면에 존재하는 적층결함을 고찰하였다.
