        This study is to find out why drivers used to put pseudo-petroleum in their cars and to fundamentally remove any accidents from the misuse. Questionnaire survey has been made in Gimpo area where many drivers can use it comparatively easily outside of Seoul. And they are analyzed statistically using SPSS 12.0 package program. Correlation factor is shown with 0.683, very high relationship between using frequency and use period of cars. It is shown that important factor to give impact to consumer attitude has been produced as car-using period, education level. The longer the cars have been used, the more pseudo petroleum has been used, it is found.

        The aim ofthisstudy istoexaminetheextenttowhich foreign wordsare used in Korean movie titles.Forthis purpose,this study analyzed the titles of Korean movies released in or after 2000 and obtained the frequency with which foreign words are used in Korean movie titles. First,thisstudyclassifiedKoreanmovietitlesonthebasisofthewords used asfollows:native,Chinese,mixed,andforeign.Asaresult,mixed movie titles are the most frequent,followed by Chinese movie titles, native movie titles and foreign movie titles.Especially forthe foreign movie titles, this study also classified them according to their morphologicalstructures,the number of their syllables/words,year of release, and their genres. When the movie titles were sorted by morphologicalstructures,movie titles with word-type were the most frequent, followed by the titles with phrase-type and those with sentence-type.And when the movie titles were sorted based on the numberofsyllables/words,theaveragesyllablenumberwas4.75andthe averageword numberwas1.9.Finally,thisstudy observed thepatterns intheuseofforeignwordsinKoreanmovietitlesandfurtherexamined thetypesofmisusageintermsoftheirKoreanRomanization

        2007년 3월부터 11월까지 광주지역에 소재하는 재래시장과 할인마트에서 구입한 건과류 채소류와 건포류 등 94건, 전통 막걸리 판매점 등에서 구입한 탁류 23건, 모두 117건을 구입하여 식품첨가물인 이산화황, 타르색소와 인공감미료를 조사하였다. 건과류 채소류와 건포류 등 94건에서 이산화황을 조사한 결과 17건에서 11.5~4,452.3;mg/kg이 검출되었으며, 식품공전의 기준을 적용한 결과 건조과실류인 대추채 2건이 각각 2,476.6 mg/kg, 4,452.3 mg/kg이 검출되어 부적합하였고, 중국산 건방울 토마토에서 88.9 mg/kg, 국내산 건호박에서 1,653.7 mg/kg이 검출되어 부적합 판정되었다. 또한, 주류 23건을 구입하여 인공감미료와 타르색소를 검사한 결과, 탁주에서 사용할 수 없는 인공감미료인 삭카진나트륨이 2건에서 0.4 mg/kg, 11.1 mg/kg이 검출되었으며, 합성 착색료로 주류에서 많이 사용할 가능성이 있는 황색5호 등 타르색소는 검출되지 않았다.

        The purpose of this study was to find the effects of using aid in enhancing walking ability inpatients with spinal cord injury who have received rehabilitative care. The study population consisted of 24 spinal cord injury patients referred to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in the National Rehabilitation Center (NRC). All subjects were ambulatory with or without an assistive devices. All of the participants were assessed on SCIM II, WISCI II, FIM, MBI, gait speed (m/s), and walking endurance (120 min/m). The data were analyzed using a paired t-test, a one-way ANOVA, and a Duncan test. The results revealed that TSCIM II and all of the items of SCIM II of the cervical ASIA D group patients were higher than those of the Thoracic ASIA A and C group patients (p<.05). The FIM, MBI, and WISCI II of the cervical ASIA D group patients were higher than those of the Thoracic ASIA C group patients (p>.05). The walking velocities of the lumbar ASIA C group patients were higher than those of Thoracic ASIA A group patients (p<.05). The walking endurance of the lumbar ASIA C group patients was higher than that of the thoracic ASIA C group patients (p<.05). The ASIA D group patients used bilateral standard canes or crutches, but none used AFO. The ASIA A and C group patients used bilateral standard walkers with KAFO for standing and walking. The findings suggest that injury level as well as the functionality of walking aids should be considered when formulating a rehabilitative plan for patients with spinal cord injury.

        Chae, Seo-young. 2004. Use of English Names and Changes in Korean Naming Conventions. The Sociolinguistic Journal of Korea, 12(2). Many college students and young graduates in Seoul Korea have additional English first names. They obtained one in English classes because Korean names are believed to be too difficult to pronounce or memorize for foreign teachers. This phenomenon is strikingly parallel to the situation in Hong Kong. On the other hand, interesting evidence of simplification in naming is found: some young Koreans, especially females, have names with an international flare and hence do not need English names. When the older and younger generations are compared, the coda complexity of their first names is significantly reduced: the youngest generation (6 and under) showed far less complex coda compared to those of the oldest generation (65 and older). The most interesting aspect of this study is that the naming conventions reflect the language situation of Korea and women are in the van.

        School contraced foodservice was introduced to school lunch program In 1999. The satisfaction with school contracted foodservice quality was low because of the restriction on equiping school foodservice facilities, facilities education by recipe related to the quantity food production and preliminary education of menu recipe of large quantity production. This study was designed to evaluate condition of existing major equipment on school contracted foodservice. A questionnaire was developed and malled to 150 dietitians in seoul. Response rates were 70%. The analysis on buying equipment were analyzed according to length of dietitian. Preliminary education of menu recipe and facilities education by recipe related to the quantity food production were analyzed acceding to length of dietitian. content analysis was conducted regarding to dietitians' ideas on school contracted foodservice.

        단감원에서의 농약 사용 실태를 2000년(62농가)과 2001년(17농가)에 단감 주산지인 진주, 사천, 창원, 창녕, 김해 등지에서 단감 재배 농가를 대상으로 설문과 방제력 수집을 통하여 조사하였다. 단감원의 년 평균 농약 살포 횟수는 2000년에 7.6회, 2001년에 7.7회였으며, 약제를 살포하는 농가의 비율은 일년 중에서 6월과 7월에 가장 높았다. 살포한 살균, 살충제의 종류는 2000년에는 각각 36종과 34종이었으며 2001년에는 각각 22종과 23종이었다. 최종 약제 살포시기는 9월 중순이 가장 많았다. 단감원에서 많이 사용하고 있는 살균제로는 2000년에는 mancozeb과 thiophanata-methyl, benomyl순이었으며, 2001년에는 lime sulfur와 benomyl, carbendazim순이었다. 살충제는 두 해 모두 deltamethrin, methidathion, fenitrothion순이었다. 사용한 약제가 단감이나 감에 고시되어있는 비율은 품목수 기준으로 50% 내외 이었다.

        This study was peformed to investigate the use of preprocessed foods, satisfaction on using them, and the plausibility to extend its use in 134 elementary school foodservices in Incheon by questionnaire from December 11th to 28th in 1999. The percentages of school foodservices to purchase and use preprocessed foods were 99.06% in seed, 97.64% in fishes and poultry, 87.74% in meats, 57.55% in eggs, 55.32% in fresh vegetables, 51.42% in dried vegetables and 34.90% in beans. Dietitians were satisfied with having used preprocessed foods, and the reduction in cooking time was listed as the biggest advantage which could be obtained by using preprocessed foods. However, dietitians showed relatively negative attitudes for the plausibility to expand use of preprocessed foods.
