국내 563만 가구가 반려동물을 기르는 것으로 추정되며, 반려동물의 수는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이와 동시에 유기동물도 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 농림축산식품부의 통계 자료에 의하면 2016년 89,000 마리가 유기되었다고 발표하였다. 이는 하루 244마리가 유기되고 있는 것이다. 유기동물의 증가와 더불어 정부에서 사용되는 처리 비용 또한 증가 하고 있으며, 원보호자를 찾거나, 재 입양을 가지 못한 반려동물의 경우 인도적 처리를 한다. 이는 안락사를 의미한다. 따라서 반려인에게는 반려동물의 입양경로와 애로점, 유기 동물 입양의사 및 사후처리과정 인지여부를 설문조사하였으며, 비반려인에게는 캣맘, 캣 대디에 대한 생각, 유기동물에 대한 생각 및 사후처리 과정에 대해 설문조사를 함으로써 반려동물 및 유기동물에 제도적 정비 및 선진화된 반려동물문화가 필요할 것으로 본다.

메밀은 다른 곡물에 비하여 단백질 함량뿐만 아니라 미네랄과 비타민 함량이 높아 영향균형이 좋은 식품이다. 또한, 다른 곡류에서는 발견되지 않는 rutin을 함유하고 있어 rutin 섭취에 의한 기능성식품으로 주목받고 있는데, 특히 쓴 메밀에서 기능성성분 함량이 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 일반메밀과 쓴메밀에서의 기능성성분 규명 및 생리활성 연구에 대한 체계적 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 일반메밀과 쓴메밀에서의 기능성 성분인 rutin과 quercetin 함량 및 폴리페놀과 플라보노이드 성분을 측정하여 비교하였다. 또한, in vitro 상에서 일반메밀과 쓴메밀 추출물의 항산화 기능성을 DPPH 및 ABTS 라디칼 소거능 분석을 통해 연구하였으며, 메밀추출물의 세포수준 항산화 기능성 및 세포독성을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 쓴메밀의 rutin 함량이 일반 메밀대비 월등히 높은 것으로 확인되었으며 quercetin은 쓴메밀에서만 측정되었다. 쓴메밀에서의 폴리페놀과 플라보노이드 함량이 일반메밀 대비 유의적으로 높은 것이 나타났으며, DPPH 및 ABTS 라디칼 소거능 또한 쓴메밀이 일반메밀에 비해 유의적으로 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구는 메밀의 항산화 기능성을 체계적으로 제시함으로써 식품산업에서 메밀의 다양한 활용성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

PURPOSES : The study aims to predict the service life of national highway asphalt pavements through deep learning methods by using maintenance history data of the National Highway Pavement Management System. METHODS: For the configuration of a deep learning network, this study used Tensorflow 1.5, an open source program which has excellent usability among deep learning frameworks. For the analysis, nine variables of cumulative annual average daily traffic, cumulative equivalent single axle loads, maintenance layer, surface, base, subbase, anti-frost layer, structural number of pavement, and region were selected as input data, while service life was chosen to construct the input layer and output layers as output data. Additionally, for scenario analysis, in this study, a model was formed with four different numbers of 1, 2, 4, and 8 hidden layers and a simulation analysis was performed according to the applicability of the over fitting resolution algorithm. RESULTS: The results of the analysis have shown that regardless of the number of hidden layers, when an over fitting resolution algorithm, such as dropout, is applied, the prediction capability is improved as the coefficient of determination (R2) of the test data increases. Furthermore, the result of the sensitivity analysis of the applicability of region variables demonstrates that estimating service life requires sufficient consideration of regional characteristics as R2 had a maximum of between 0.73 and 0.84, when regional variables where taken into consideration. CONCLUSIONS : As a result, this study proposes that it is possible to precisely predict the service life of national highway pavement sections with the consideration of traffic, pavement thickness, and regional factors and concludes that the use of the prediction of service life is fundamental data in decision making within pavement management systems.

This study was carried out to investigate the presence of a correlation between heavy metals in urine samples and upper airway diseases. For the study, 51 household residents of Gwangyang, both with and without upper airway disease, were targeted. Urine samples were collected from the subjects along with a questionnaire from April 24th to 27th, 2017. The heavy metals in the urine samples were preprocessed and analyzed using an inductively coupled plasma/mass spectrometer. The geometric mean concentration of urinary arsenic and cadmium was 138.66 μg/L and 0.75 μg/g creatinine among those with upper airway disease and 166.42 μg/L and 1.19 μg/ g creatinine among those without upper airway disease. This was not a statistically significant difference. The concentration of urinary arsenic and cadmium was found to be increased by 1.19 times (95% CI; 0.15-9.31) and 1.26 times (95% CI; 0.31-5.04) in household residents with upper airway diseases with more than 144.86 μg/L and 0.85 μg/g creatinine, respectively.

목적 : 본 연구는 일반 대중들을 대상으로 작업치료에 대한 인지도 조사를 실시하여 국내 작업치료 인지도 현실을 파악하고 이에 따른 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 광주･전남지역의 인구 밀집지역에서 불특정 일반 대중을 무작위 선정하여 설문조사에 동의한 2,980명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 설문은 먼저 피설문자에게 작업치료에 대해 들어보았거나 알고 있다고 대답한 경우 다음 설문을 진행하고 모르겠다고 대답한 경우에는 설문자가 조사용지에 체크한 후 설문을 종료하였다. 설문내용은 작업치료에 대한 일반적인 인지도 4문항과 작업치료 필요성 4문항으로 구성하여 배포 및 회수하였다. 자료 분석은 설문에 불성실하게 응답한 13부를 제외한 최종 2,967부를 분석하였다. 결과 : 작업치료에 대해 들어보았거나 알고 있다는 응답은 252명(8.5%), 그렇지 않다는 2,715명(91.5%)이었다. 연령대와 직업에 따른 작업치료 인지유무는 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<.001)를 보였으며 인지한다고 응답한 252명 중 20대(28.6%)와 학생(41.7%)의 인지도가 다른 군에 비해 높았다. 작업치료가 우리생활에 필요한지에 대해서는 215명(85.3%)이 필요하다고 응답하였으며 향후 작업치료의 전망에 대해서는 5점 척도에서 평균 3.73±.75점으로 상당히 높은 평가결과를 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구결과 최근 작업치료분야가 예전에 비해 점차 확대되고 있는 상황이지만 아직까지는 인지도가 낮음을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과가 향후 작업치료 인지도 개선을 위한 방향설정과 인지도 제고를 위한 정책수립의 기초자료로 유용하게 활용될 것을 희망한다.

The quality characteristics of bread with black rice flour were investigated to find the most preferred ratio of black rice flour. Its moisture, ash content, crude protein, crude fat, amino acids, and texture were analyzed. A sensory evaluation was also performed. The moisture and crude fat of bread with black rice flour were decreased in proportion to the added amount of black rice flour, but the crude protein and ash content were increased. The volume of bread decreased as the added amount of black rice flour increased. The pH value of bread increased in proportion to the added amount of black rice flour. The value of brightness and yellowness of the dough were the highest in the control. The added amount of black rice flour was negatively correlated with the brightness and the yellowness of the dough, but was positively correlated with the redness. Total free amino acids were found, and the dough with 5% black rice flour contained the highest amount, followed by 3%, 2%, and 1%. When evaluating the storage days, the springiness and cohesiveness of bread with black rice flour they decreased with time, but the chewiness and brittleness increased. Regarding the taste, preference was given to the bread with 2% black rice flour, which had the lowest rejection rate and was not affected by time in any meaningful sense. The bread with 2% black rice flour won the highest scores in the overall preference measurement.

PURPOSES: Case studies of an asphalt-overlay project with a performance-based contract method were conducted on a national highway in Korea to evaluate the effect of the method on asphalt pavement maintenance. This study evaluated the procedure of the performance-based contract method. METHODS: In this study, an asphalt-pavement maintenance project for a national highway was assessed with a performance-based contract to investigate the advantage of the new contract procedures. This is the first trial applying the performance-based contract to a pavementrehabilitation project in Korea. In the four case studies, the warranty period of the performance-based contract was designed for seven years. The research team monitored the construction site to compare the normal contract method with the performance-based contract method. The case studies’project sites were investigated after the end of the construction. RESULTS : Based on the limited case studies, the performance-based contract method could extend the service life of the asphalt pavement and reduce the pavement-maintenance budget because the quality control was well managed by the contractors. However, a few construction laws would be necessary to apply the performance-based contract method in the future. CONCLUSIONS : Using the performance-based contract, the construction company made great efforts to guarantee the warranty period and to apply the optimal maintenance method, based on the pavement distress condition. The contractor and the agency would need to understand the new performance-based contract system for it to be activated. Therefore, a proper education program for the performancebased contract system would be needed to educate the stakeholders regarding the procedures and their effects on the pavement management and maintenance.

The quality properties of bread with Lentinula edodes powder were investigated to find the most adequate ratio of the Lentinula edodes powder. The protein and crude fat were increased in proportion to the added quantity of Lentinula edodes powder. The amount of ash was found the most in the bread with 1% Lentinula edodes powder. It was confirmed that the volume of bread with Lentinula edodes powder decreased as the amount of the Lentinula edodes powder increased. The brightness was the highest in the control and was inversely proportional to the added amount of Lentinula edodes powder. The yellowness and redness of the dough were proportional to the added amount of Lentinula edodes powder. Total amino acids and free amino acids were found. The dough with 3% Lentinula edodes powder contained the highest amounts of both, followed by 2%, and 1%. When evaluating the length of storage, the bread’s springiness and cohesiveness decreased. Regarding the taste, preference was given to the bread with 2% Lentinula edodes powder, which had the lowest value of bad odors and odd texture in the sensory test.

본고는 식당 종업원 호칭에 대한 선행연구의 조사자료 및 그들 간의 의미를 재고한 뒤, 그 것을 토대로, 한 중 교재 속에 반영된 일반 식당 상황 하의 호칭어 사용 양상을 양적인 측면 에서 고찰하고 교육적 함의를 찾는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 본고는 우선 선행연구의 설문 결과 중에서 “여/저기요”와 “帥哥/美女”를 중심으로 시간에 따른 사용 변화 양상을 메타적 관점에서 관찰한다. 관찰에는 시대 흐름별 차이와 더불어 격식 유무별 차이 등이 포함된다. 그 로부터 얻은 결과를 기초로, 한 중 교재 속 식당 장면에서 사용되는 호칭들이 선행연구에서 보여준 사용 결과와 부합하는지 그리고 그 점에서 한 중 교재 간에는 어떤 공통점과 차이점 이 있는지를 양적 측면에서 살펴본다.

This study was conducted to investigate the proximate composition, free sugars, amino acids, and minerals in five Lentinula edodes cultivars collected in Korea. No significant differences in the content of crude fat and crude fiber were found between the samples; however, there was significant variation in the contents of nitrogen free extract, ash, and crude protein. Three kinds of free sugars (fucose, arabinose, and glucose) were identified by HPLC, with the glucose content ranging from 5.94% to 12.08%. Sixteen kinds of free amino acids were identified: the highest content of amino acids was found in ‘Sanlim5ho’ (13,768.33 mg%), while the highest content of free amino acids was found in ‘Sanlim4ho’ (6,790.57 mg%). The minerals detected in the L. edodes cultivars were potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sodium, the contents of which ranged from 567.16–2,356.09 mg%, 3.85–7.42 mg%, 9.79–20.88 mg%, and 19.60–22.62 mg%, respectively.

PURPOSES: The occurrence of unexpected disasters, including fire events, increases as the road network becomes complicated and traffic volume increases. When a fire event occurs on and under bridges, the damage extensively influences direct damage to structures, vehicles, and human life and secondary socioeconomic issues owing to traffic blockage. This study investigated potential fire-hazard risks on bridges of the Korean national route roadMETHODS: The investigation was conducted using field investigation and analysis with satellite pictures and road views from commercial websites and the Bridge Management System (BMS). From the filed investigation, various potential fire resources were identified. The satellite pictures and road views were helpful in measuring and recognizing conditions underneath bridges, stowage areas, etc.RESULTS : There are various potential fire resources underneath bridges such as piled agricultural products, parked petroleum tanks, construction equipment, and attached high-voltage cables. A total of 94.6% of bridges have underneath clearances of less than 15 m. A bridge underneath volume that can stow a potential fire hazard resource was 7,332 m3 on average, and most bridges have about 4,000 m3 of space. Based on the BMS data, the amounts of PSC and steel girders were 29% and 25%, respectively.CONCLUSIONS : It was found that the amount of stowed potential fire hazard resources was proportional to the underneath space of bridges. Most bridges have less than 15 m of vertical clearance that can be considered as a critical value for a bridge fire. The fire risk investigation results should be helpful for developing bridge fire-protection tools.

이 연구는 해결중심 집단상담이 일반 고등학교 학생의 스트레스 대처와 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 알아보고 현장 적용가능성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. D광역시 소재 일반 고등학교 학생 16명을 대상으 로 통제집단과 실험집단에 각각 8명씩 무선배치하고 해결중심 집단상담을 주 1회, 회기별로 90분씩, 총 6회기에 걸쳐 진행하였다. 통제집단과 실험집단에 각각 사전, 사후 스트레스 대처능력과 자아존중감 정도 를 측정하고 수집된 자료는 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였으며, 참여자의 자기평가 기록지와 면담 및 연구자의 관찰결과를 종합적으로 분석하여 최종 결론을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 해결중심 집단상담에 참여한 학생들은 통제집단 학생들에 비해 스트레스 대처능력, 자아존중감이 모두 유의하게 향상되었다. 이 연구는 청소년기 신체적 변화는 물론, 입시 경쟁, 진로문제, 교우관계 및 가치관의 혼란 등 다양한 원인으로 인한 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 고등학생들에게 학교 현장에서 단기 해결중심 집단상담을 적용하여 학생들이 자신의 강점을 인식하고 이를 통해 문제를 해결하도록 도와줌으로써 바람직한 스트레스 대처와 자아존중감 향상을 극대화하도록 하는데 의의가 있다.

오늘날 새로운 지도 제작 기술을 도입하여 저비용으로 개인 용도에 맞는 촉지도를 제작할 수 있는 지도 제작 방식에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 지도와 점역에 대한 지식이 없는 일반인이 촉지도를 제작할 수 있는 촉지도 자동제작 시스템의 구현 방안을 제안한다. 촉지도 자동 제작 시스템은 연속수치지도 기반의 지리정보 데이터베이스를 활용하여 지도용 자료를 구축한다. 그리고 촉지도 자동 제작 시스템은 촉지도 디자인 기능을 웹 환경에서 제공하는데, 지도 요소 및 지도 기호 디자인 규칙은 국내의 점자지도 제작규정을 준수한다. 마지막으로, 촉지도 자동 제작 시스템은 빠르고 쉽게 촉지도를 인쇄할 수 있는 장비를 채택하여 지도 제작자가 소량의 개인용 촉지도를 제작할 수 있도록 지원한다. 온라인 지도 서비스 기반의 지도 제작 방식이 개인용 지도 제작의 확산에 기여한 것처럼, 촉지도 자동 제작 시스템은 개인용 촉지도 제작에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있다.
