        목적 : 본 연구는 신체적 기능장애인을 대상으로 장애수용, 자아존중감, 우울, 인권이 삶의 만족도에 미치 는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 한국장애인개발원의 장애인삶 2차 패널조사에 참여한 6,121명 중 신체기능 장애인 1,780명의 데이 터를 추출하여 일반적인 특성, 장애수용, 자아존중감, 우울, 인권 항목을 분석하였다. 자료는 기술 통계, 피어슨 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 분석하였다. 결과 : 신체기능 장애인의 장애수용, 자아존중감, 우울, 인권과 전반적인 삶의 만족도는 유의미한 상관관계 를 보였다. 우울감이 낮을수록, 장애수용과 자아존중감, 인권이 높을수록 삶의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 보였다. 장애수용, 자아존중감, 우울, 인권이 전반적인 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향은 41%의 설명력을 보 였다. 결론 : 신체적 기능장애인의 긍정적인 삶의 만족도를 위하여 장애인 자신의 긍정적 장애수용, 지역사회의 심리정서적 지원과 함께 비장애인들의 장애인식에 따른 관점변화가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

        The present study investigated the effects of forage cutting and baler mixing on the chemical compositions, fermentation indices, and aerobic stability of whole crop rice (WCR) haylage. The WCR (“Youngwoo”) was harvested at 48.4% dry matter and ensiled into a 300 kg bale silo with forage cutting (whole crop without cutting vs. 5 cm of cutting length). The WCR forages were ensiled without baler mixing process (CON) or with (MIX). The concentrations of dry matter, crude protein, ether extract, crude ash, neutral detergent fiber, and acid detergent fiber of whole crop rice before ensiling were 48.4, 9.70, 2.57, 6.11, 41.2, and 23.5%, respectively. The forage cutting did not affect the chemical compositions, fermentation indices, microbes, and aerobic stability of WCR haylage (p>0.05). The CON haylages tend to be higher in NDF content (p<0.10). The MIX haylages had lower in lactate (p=0.019), and lactate:acetate ratio (p<0.001). The MIX haylages had higher in lactic acid bacteria (LAB) (p=0.010). Therefore, this study concluded that the fermentation quality of WCR haylage improved by baler mixing, but had no effects by forage cutting.

        Following the social requirement to strengthen field supervision of the asbestos containing materials (ACM) abatement process with regard to asbestos school buildings, this study was conducted to understand the status and characteristics of airborne asbestos that may potentially occur after the ACM abatement process is completed. In the area where a series of asbestos abatement processes were finally completed, comprehensive area air sampling was performed. For sample analysis, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) was used according to The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) method and Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) analysis was also performed. Airborne asbestos was detected in 29.5% of the total samples, and the average concentration was 0.0039 ± 0.0123 s/cc (12.3 ± 38.9 s/mm2). 4.5% of the total samples exceeded the AHERA standard (70.0 s/mm2) and the average concentration was 0.0528 ± 0.0256 s/cc (167.2 ± 82.0 s/mm2). Airborne asbestos was no longer detected at the point when AHERA is exceeded after re-cleaning. Most of the detected asbestos was chrysotile (94.4%) and the structure types of asbestos were Matrix (41.4%), Fiber (39.9%), Bundle (10.8%), and Cluster (7.8%). Among the asbestos structures detected through transmission electron microscope analysis, the asbestos structures satisfying PCM-equivalent structures were found to be 6% of the detected asbestos, indicating that there is a limitation of the PCM analysis to check the airborne asbestos in that area. As a result of reviewing the status of airborne asbestos that may potentially occur and the type and dimensions of asbestos structure detected in the area, since the airborne asbestos exposure caused by poor field supervision for the ACM abatement process could not be ruled out, thorough management is necessary. In addition, the result of this study could be used as scientific evidence for establishing and strengthening policies related to ACM abatement, including cases of school buildings.

        목적: 본 논문의 목적은 연구 문헌 중 요통 환자에게 보행운동을 적용한 무작위 대조군 실험설계를 메타 분석을 하여 통증과 장애지수에 대한 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 본 논문은 다음 데이터베이스에서 검색하였다: Google scholar, PubMed, Sciencedirect, KISS, RISS, NDSL. 지난 10년간 영어나 한국어로 된 논문 중, 요통이 있는 환자들이 보행운동을 하였을 때, 통증과 장애지 수를 연구한 논문들을 검색하였다. 이 논문에는 (1) 요통이 있는 환자, (2) 중재에는 보행운동이 포함되며, (3) 평가 지표에는 통증과 장애지수가 포함되었다. 최종 결과로 35개의 논문을 확인하였고, 그중 15개의 논문이 충족되었다. 결과: 본 논문은 요통 환자를 대상으로 보행운동을 중재로 주었을 경우의 논문 15편을 최종적으로 선정하 였고 분석하였다. 통증과 장애지수와 관련되어 각각 12개의 논문을 분석하였다. 통증과 관련된 12개의 논문의 효과 크기는 중간의 효과 크기나 나타났고, 장애지수와 관련된 12개의 논문의 작은 효과 크기가 있었다. 결론: 보행운동은 요통 환자들의 통증을 감소시키고 장애지수를 줄이는데 유의미한 효과가 있다. 따라서 보 행운동은 요통을 지닌 사람들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다.

        본 연구는 과학전람회에 출품된 지구과학 부문 탐구주제를 분석하여 학교에서 이루어지는 지구과학 탐구활동을 살펴봄으로써 지구과학 출품작 중 주제 특성을 파악하는 데 기여하는 데 목적을 지닌다. 이를 위해 과학전람회 누리집 에 게시된 지구과학 부문 출품작 중 2000년부터 2020년까지 21년 동안 다루어진 자료 총 566점을 대상으로 하였으며, 분석틀을 기준으로 언어네트워크를 분석하였다. 그 결과 지구과학 출품 작품으로 지질과학이 가장 활발하게 탐구가 이 루어졌다. 특히, 층서/퇴적/화석/지사학 영역과 관련된 중생대 백악기 시대의 화석이 주를 이루었다. 이들과 함께 천문 및 우주과학, 대기과학 영역에 해당하는 핵심어가 작은 규모의 네트워크를 이루고 있었다. 천문 및 우주과학은 주로 태 양과 달, 지구를 주제로 갖는 태양 흑점, 달 위상 등 탐구활동에서 소행성, 금성과 목성과 같은 태양계 구성 천체의 역 학적 특징에 대해 다루고 있었다. 대기과학은 대기물리를 중심으로 대기 관측/분석기술, 대기역학, 대기질감시 등에 대해 다루어졌으며, 해양과학은 물리해양학과 지질해양학 등에 관해 탐구가 제한적으로 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 본 연 구를 바탕으로 학교 현장에서 지구과학 탐구주제를 선정하고 탐구활동을 수행하는 데 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

        Background/Objectives: 본 연구의 목적은 복부 브레이싱 운동과 복부 할로잉 운동을 결 합한 요부 안정화 운동프로그램이 20대 정상성인의 폐기능에 미치는 영향과 흡연자와 비흡 연자를 비교하여 그 차이를 알아보고자 하는 데 있다. Methods/Statistical analysis: 이를 위해 20대 정상성인을 대상으로 흡연집단(n=16)과 비 흡연집단(n=16) 두 그룹으로 모집하여 동일한 중재를 실시하였다. Findings: 흡연집단은 집단 내 기간 지남에 따라 폐기능 요인 중 FVC과 FEV1/FVC를 제 외한 FEV1과 PEF가 운동 전보다 유의하게 증가하였다(p<.05). 비흡연집단에서 기간 지남에 따라 폐기능 요인 중 FVC과 PEF를 제외한 FEV1, FEV1/FVC가 운동 전보다 유의하게 증가하 였다(p<.05). Improvements/Applications: 본 연구 결과, 복부 브레이싱 운동과 복부 할로잉 운동을 결 합한 요부 안정화 운동프로그램은 흡연집단과 비흡연집단 두 그룹의 폐기능 향상에 효과가 나타난 것을 알 수 있었다.

        Climate change due to global warming causes a rise in atmospheric air temperature to rise and extreme shift in precipitation patterns. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is widely known as one of the major cause of global warming and accounts for about 72% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Agriculture is more vulnerable to climate change than other industries. Many studies have been conducted to investigate how agroecosystems, both natural and controlled, will respond to the rising level of CO2. Studies on the responses of crops and agricultural environments to climate change are crucial in predicting changes in agro-ecosystems. Research facilities for various types of CO2 treatment have been developed. The representative research facilities are SAR (Soil-Plant-Atmosphere-Research), OTC (Open Top Chamber), FACE (Free Air CO2 Enrichment System), and TGC & CTGC (Temperature Gradient Chamber & CO2-Temperature Gradient Chamber). Therefore, this study reviewed research data and their application in agriculture.

        PURPOSES : Fine dust significantly affects the atmospheric environment, and various measures have been implement to reduce it. The aim of this study is to reduce fine dust on roads by implementing porous pavements and a clean road system using the low-impact development technique. METHODS : We conducted quality tests (draindown, cantabro loss rate, tensile strength ratio, dynamic stability, and indoor permeability coefficient tests) and performance evaluation (dynamic modulus and Hamburg wheel-tracking tests) on the porous asphalt mixture. Subsequently, we constructed a porous pavement road in a test bed and conducted a permeability test. In the test bed, we installed a nozzle, a water tank, and a fluid pump to water the roadside. After the clean road system was completely installed, we measured the concentration of fine dust before and after water was sprayed. Additionally, we conducted a total suspended solids (TSS) test to confirm the reduction in re-suspended dust. RESULTS : All results from the quality test of the porous asphalt mixture satisfy the standards stipulated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Results from the dynamic modulus test show a low plastic deformation resistance but a high fatigue crack resistance. The results from the Hamburg wheel-tracking test satisfy the U.S. Department of Transportation standards. After the porous pavement was constructed, a permeability test was conducted, and the result satisfies the standard value. Using a particle counter, we measured the concentration of fine dust before and after water spraying, and results show 12.08% and 10.23% for PM10 and PM2.5 particles, respectively. The results from the TSS test show that after the initial water spray, almost all re-suspended dust are removed from a road. In unfavorable road conditions, almost all re-suspended dust are removed after a second water spray. CONCLUSIONS : The results of all of quality tests performed on a porous asphalt mixture satisfy the standards. By applying the results to a test bed, the problem of securing water is solved. Using the clean road system, 12.08% and 10.23% of PM10 and PM2.5 particles are removed, respectively. The system removes PM10 particles (larger particles) more effectively compared with PM2.5 particles. IN the future, we plan to revise the maintenance plan such that the porous pavement can exhibit long-term performance. Because pipe freezing may occur in the winter, we plan to analyze the periodic maintenance plan of the porous pavement and develop a solution to mitigate the issue of freezing pipes in the winter.

        Environmental issues such as global warming due to fossil fuel use are now major worldwide concerns, and interest in renewable and clean energy is growing. Of the various types of renewable energy, green hydrogen energy has recently attracted attention because of its eco-friendly and high-energy density. Electrochemical water splitting is considered a pollution-free means of producing clean hydrogen and oxygen and in large quantities. The development of non-noble electrocatalysts with low cost and high performance in water splitting has also attracted considerable attention. In this study, we successfully synthesized a NiCo2O4/NF electrode for an oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline water splitting using a hydrothermal method, which was followed by post-heat treatment. The effects of heat treatment on the electrochemical performance of the electrodes were evaluated under different heat-treatment conditions. The optimized NCO/NF-300 electrode showed an overpotential of 416 mV at a high current density of 50 mA/cm2 and a low Tafel slope (49.06 mV dec-1). It also showed excellent stability (due to the large surface area) and the lowest charge transfer resistance (12.59 Ω). The results suggested that our noble-metal free electrodes have great potential for use in developing alkaline electrolysis systems.

        PURPOSE: 본 연구의 목적은 둥근어깨자세(round shoulder posture)와 전방머리자세 (forward head posture)에 따라 폐활량 측정과 산소포화도 및 횡격막 움직임 크기의 상관관계를 알아보는 것이다. METHODS: 연구의 대상은 만성 심장질환 및 호흡기 질환을 가지고 있거나, 정신적, 인지적 장애가 있는 자, 척추옆굽음증(scoliosis)이 있는 자, 목과 갈비뼈 손상이나 수술 병력이 없는 50명의 자원한 사람으로 선정되었습니다. 통계분석은 피어슨(Pearson)의 상관분석을 실시한다. RESULTS:둥근어깨자세는 FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC%,PEF 에 대해 양의 상관계수를 보이고 이중 PEF가 가장 상관성이 높았다(p<.05). 횡격막 움직임의 크기(DMD)에 대해서도 양의 상관계수를 보였다. 그러나 TAD(table acromion distance)와는 음의 상관관계를, SPO2는 PM/C7~acro, TAD(table acromion distance) 둘다 음의 상관관계가 나타났다(P>.05). 전방머리자세는 CVA와 CRA 모두 FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC, PEF 비율에 대해 유의한 상관관계가 없다(p>.05). CRA와 DMD에는 유의한 차이가 있는 음의 상관관계가 나타났지만(p<.05), CVA와 DMD에는 유의한 상관관계가 발견되지 않았다. 또한 CVA와 CRA 모두 SPO2에 대해 유의한 상관관계가 없다(p>.05). CONLUSION: 결론적으로 전방머리자세의 각도와 둥근어깨 자세에 따라 폐활량과 횡격막 움직임에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 하지만 좀더 많은 인원과 대상자들의 경직된 자세에 대해 제한할 방법을 추가적으로 찾을 필요가 있다.

        목적: 본 연구의 목적은 운동심상 훈련이 심폐 기능에 미치는 효과를 확인하는 것이다. 방법: 본 연구는 20대 성인 남성 26명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 참가자는 각각 13명의 참가자를 고려하여 운동심상 훈련 군과 대조군으로 무작위로 할당되었다. 측정 방법으로는 트레드밀에서 심장부하 검사를 실시하였고, 최대산소섭취량, 운동 시간 및 회복 심박수를 측정하였다. 운동심상 훈련군은 일주일에 5번 운동심상 훈련을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 군 내 결과를 확인 하기 위하여 대응 t 검증을 하였고, 군간 비교를 위하여 독립 t검증을 실시하였다. 결과: 최대 산소 섭취량은 각 군의 전후 비교와 각 군 간의 비교에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 운동심상 훈련군은 대조군에 비해 운동시간에 유의한 변화가 있었다. 회복 심박수에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론: 본 연구에서는 운동심상 훈련군에서 최대산소섭취량 및 운동 시간을 개선하지만 회복 심박수에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 운동심상 훈련은 심폐 기능 강화를 위한 프로그램으로 고려할 가치가 있다

        The present study investigated effects of microbial additives and silo density on chemical compositions, fermentation indices, and aerobic stability of whole crop rice (WCR) silage. The WCR (“Youngwoo”) was harvested at 49.7% dry matter (DM), and ensiled into 500 kg bale silo with two different compaction pressures at 430 kgf (kilogram-force)/cm2 (LOW) and 760 kgf/cm2 (HIGH) densities. All WCR forage were applied distilled water (CON) or mixed inoculants (Lactobacillus brevis 5M2 and Lactobacillus buchneri 6M1) with 1:1 ratio at 1x105 colony forming unit/g (INO). The concentrations of DM, crude protein, ether extract, crude ash, neutral detergent fiber, and acid detergent fiber of whole crop rice before ensiling were 49.7, 9.59, 2.85, 6.74, 39.7, and 21.9%, respectively. Microbial additives and silo density did not affect the chemical compositions of WCR silage (p>0.05). The INO silages had lower lactate (p<0.001), but higher propionate (p<0.001). The LOW silages had higher lactate (p=0.004). The INO silages had higher yeast count (p<0.001) and aerobic stability (p<0.001). However, microbial counts and aerobic stability were not affected by silo density. Therefore, this study concluded that fermentation quality of WCR silage improved by microbial additives, but no effects by silo density.

        The frequent detection and occurrence of micropollutants (MPs) in aquatic ecosystems has raised public health concerns worldwide. In this study, the behavior of 50 MPs was investigated in three different domestic wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). Furthermore, the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to assess the geographical and seasonal variation of MPs in the WWTPs. The results showed that the concentrations of 43 MPs ranged from less than 0.1 to 237.6 μg L-1, while other seven MPs including 17-ethynylestradiol, 17-estradiol, sulfathiazole, sulfamethazine, clofibric acid, simvastatin, and lovastatin were not detected in all WWTPs. Among the detected MPs, the pharmaceuticals such as metformin, acetaminophen, naproxen, and caffeine were prominent with maximum concentrations of 133.4, 237.6, 71.5, and 107.7 μg L-1, respectively. Most perfluorinated compounds and nitrosamines were found at trace levels of 1.2 to 55.3 ng L-1, while the concentration of corrosion inhibitors, preservatives (parabens), and endocrine disruptors ranged from less than 0.1 to 4310.8 ng L-1. Regardless of the type of biological treatment process such as MLE, A2O, and MBR, the majority of pharmaceuticals (except lincomycin, diclofenac, iopromide, and carbamazepine), parabens (except Methyl paraben), and endocrine disruptors were removed by more than 80%. However, the removal efficiencies of certain MPs such as atrazine, DEET, perfluorinated compounds (except PFHxA), nitrosamines, and corrosion inhibitors were relatively low or their concentration even increased after treatment. The results of statistical analysis reveal that there is no significant geographical difference in the removal efficacy of MPs, but there are temporal seasonal variations in all WWTPs.

        PURPOSES : This study compared the performance evaluation of a hot mix asphalt (HMA) and asphalt mixture of a warm-antistrip agent. METHODS : A mix design applying Korean standards was conducted to evaluate the performance evaluation. Thereafter, the quality standard evaluation of the asphalt mixture produced was conducted, and if all quality standards were satisfied, a performance evaluation was conducted. Types of performance evaluation included the Hamburg wheel tracking test and dynamic modulus test. RESULTS : As a result of the Hamburg wheel tracking test, the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent obtained a lower sedimentation value at 10000 times and 20000 times. This result is considered to have higher plastic deformation resistance of the asphalt mixture with a Warm-antistrip agent than HMA. The U.S. Department of Transportation stipulates that plastic deformation resistance is excellent if the asphalt mixture does not exceed 20,000 times the precipitate of 20 mm. Therefore, we confirmed that the plastic deformation resistance of the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent was excellent. Additionally, the master curve was analyzed by synthesizing the results of the dynamic modulus test. When analyzing the low load cycle at the bottom left of the master curve, the dynamic modulus value of the master curve was higher in the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent than in the HMA. In addition, when analyzing the high load cycle part, the dynamic modulus of the HMA was measured to be higher than that of the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent. Accordingly, the resistance to fatigue cracking of the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent was considered superior to that of the HMA. CONCLUSIONS : As a result, we confirmed that the asphalt mixture with a warm-antistrip agent that satisfies the Korean quality standards had better plastic deformation and fatigue resistance for all performance evaluation tests conducted in this study than the HMA. However, since the Hamburg wheel tracking test did not significantly differ in the amount of sedimentation in the performance evaluation tests and the mixture using one additive was compared with HMA, studies on the effects of various additives containing warm-antistrip agents are required.
