By controlling the piston speed of the gas spring applying to the digital television stand application of the gas spring, a user can operate the elevation when the gas spring is working under long stroke(200~300 mm, the TV elevation displacement). According to stroke, by some devices with the problem rising from between the difference of external forces, the emotional quality in television elevational function is realized. The piston speed control technique is investigated to perform this experiment piston flow analysis and flow rate control for precise tubular cross section and propose a piston structure for elevation action. This study is for the development of the gas spring of the large size television stand with 50 inch over. In the gas spring development of elevation working, a device to compensate for the volume of the cylinder is generated as much the volume of the piston rod. As this study result, at the development of working gas spring, the hollow shaft is more favorable than the solid one in the apparatus to compensate for the cylinder volume generated.

The EMI shield material with narrow width has some deficiencies in shielding capability and this deficiencies are caused by the inconsistent relationship between the inductance and temperature after heat treatment. This study is performed to develop a nano crystal magnetization heat treatment process technology and design a EMI shielding material with wide width up to 350mm. As a result, the performance of the developed wide EMI shield material satisfies all the objects of this study such as the inductance, thickness, permeability, ribbon productivity, lamination productivity. Also, we find that this wide EMI shield material can be used effectively for the EMI shield room, large medical equipment and so on.

Material for high-speed airframe are typically selected such that high ablation resistance is maintained on the material surface while high pull-strength is maintained inside the material. However, in case of application to extremely severe condition, the material should have better mechanical properties. Thus, heat treatment or surface treatment is utilized to improve the mechanical properties. This study is conducted as a preliminary research to improve the mechanical properties of vehicle material considering the frictional heat produced during high-speed vehicle is in motion. In this study, Inconel 625 alloy, widely used material for the application of high-speed air vehicle, is ion nitriding processed and then mechanical property test and wear test on this material are conducted consequently. As results, mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength and hardness are increased, and also wear rate is increased at particular condition.

This paper is concerned with the optimal design of hyperbaric oxygen therapy system chamber with separated rooms for multi-users using stress analysis. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is very important medical remedy for increasing the concentration of melted oxygen in human and animal body to recover the impaired cell for the healthy condition. This research proposed the proper procedures to design the physical specifications and investigate the mechanical design safety of hyperbaric oxygen chamber with two separated rooms using computational stress analysis with Solidworks program. The result of this research will be used to make the real size model of practical hyperbaric oxygen therapy system for multi-users with separated chamber.

To precisely assemble the fuel test rod, an orbital TIG welding system was designed and developed to accurately conduct orbital TIG welding for the nuclear fuel test rod. Using this system, a welding process needs to confirm the welding properties for orbital TIG welding. Therefore, preliminary weld tests were performed on the cladding tubes under various conditions, and the results show that the width and depth of HAZ of the cladding specimen welded using identical power during an orbital TIG welding cycle was continuously increased from a welded start-point to a welded end-point because of heat accumulation. The performance tests were conducted under the welding conditions considered through preliminary welding tests, and the properties of the specimens were conformed through surface and microstructure analyses.
