This research is the second result concerned with control of driving wheelchairs and elevating seats. The standing and lifting seat elevation of wheelchairs with general wheel are controlled by motor speeds of rear wheels. The third wheelchair with mecanum wheels can make the translational motions and is controlled by different method which is designed and applied by the appropriate electrical logic circuits. Two general moving type wheelchairs and translational moving type wheelchair using mecanum wheel can drive with joy stick. All three wheelchiars' seat can be elevated by extra switches attached in chair. Finally, this research paper proposes the practical control method and electrical circuits of power wheelchairs.

As the pollution from waste marine emissions becomes serious, the government's regulations are becoming more stringent. In addition to sewage sludge, manure sludge and waste sludge were included in the prohibition of off-shore sewage treatment and the allowable standard value of pollutants for the water quality discharged by the companies was increased. The difficulties of the enterprises due to the increase of the wastewater treatment costs are increasing. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to reduce wastewater treatment costs and the processing burden of the consigned waste processing companies by constructing wastewater pretreatment facilities of their own waste. Therefore, it is urgent to develop low cost wastewater pretreatment or treatment facilities and technologies to meet the situation of wastewater discharge companies. In this study, a low cost system has been developed for filtering sludge in the wastewater by modifying the structure of drum screen and adopting the impact separation method. Using this system, the procedure and cost for purification and subsequent retreatment of a highly concentrated wastewater can be significantly reduced.

Conventional rotary sawing machine for cutting lumber generates severe amount of dust scattering to the environment. In this research, the design improvement of the rotary sawing machine is achieved to significantly reduce the dust scattering by the design process utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. Several design candidates for the design improvement of the rotary saw system were proposed and modeled, and CFD analyses were performed to choose the best design in viewpoint of the least dust scattering. CFD analysis proved to be very useful to predict the characteristics of the air flow inside the saw system. The movement of dust particles with the air flow during the sawing process was analyzed for various design features of the saw system. The most efficient design to minimize the amount of dust particles ejected from the saw system was chosen based on the CFD analysis results. Then, the prototype of the best candidate of the improved rotary saw machine was built and the amount of dust particles were measured to verify its performance.

In this research, the magnetic abrasive finishing process using (Nd-Fe-B) permanent magnet was applied to confirm the performance and to find the optimum conditions. The STS304 bar was used as the specimen in this experiment. In order to confirm the performance of magnetic abrasive finishing process, the surface roughness (Ra) and diameter reduction were measured when the specimens were processed under the conditions of rotational speeds, frequencies, and magnetic pole shapes. The rotational speeds were varied at 8000rpm, 15000rpm, 20000rpm, and 25000rpm. And the frequencies were changed to 0Hz, 4Hz and 10Hz. Also the shapes of the magnetic pole were changed to flat edge, sharp edge and round edge. It can be concluded that the surface roughness (Ra) and diameter reduction were found to be the best at 25000rpm, 4Hz, flat edge.
