        본 연구의 목적은 과학영재학교 재학생을 대상으로 과학영재학교의 교수활동에 관한 학생의 인식을 밝히고 과학과 실험수업의 실제 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 과학과 교육과정 편제 및 운영, 교수·학습방법 평가 방법에 관한 설문 결과와 과학과 실험수업에서의 언어적 상호작용 유형을 분석하였다. 과학영재학교 교육과정 편제 및 운영에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사한 결과, 심화선택과목의 학점 비중을 더 높여야 한다는 의견과 보통교과의 학점을 줄이고 수학 및 과학 교과의 학점을 늘려야 한다는 의견이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 과학영재학교 과학과 수업시사간에 주로 사용되는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 조별수업, 토론이 대다수를 차지하였고 학생들이 선호하는 수업방법으로는 강의나 설명, 토론 외에도 탐구학습, 개인연구, 문제해결학습 등 다양하게 나타났다. 그리고 학생들이 선호하는 평가방법은 지필 평가와 보고서평가, 실험 평가의 순으로 나타났다. 과학영재학교 과학실험 수업에서 상호작용 유형을 분석한 결과, 교사 질문의 수준에 따라 교사-학생 상호작용 유형이 다르게 나타났고, 실험과정 중에는 학생-학생 상호작용에 의해 탐구활동이 활성화되었다.

        본 연구는 효율적인 국립공원 탐방로 관리를 위해 탐방로 이용행태 및 이용 관련 탐방객 인식을 파악하여 탐방로 이용 기초자료의 제공에 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 이를 위해 북한산 및 치악산국립공원의 주요 탐방로에서 이용자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 조사대상 두 국립공원의 탐방로에는 수목 뿌리 노출. 암석 노출, 노폭확대가 주요 훼손유형으로 나타났으며 경사지의 시설도입 및 정비와 훼손된 노면의 정비가 가장 필요한 관리 및 정비의 우선순위로 지적되었다. 본 연구결과를 살펴볼 때, 입지적 특성과 이용목적에 따라 훼손유형이 다르게 나타날 수 있으며 이에 따라 탐방로 정비 및 관리 우선순위도 차별적으로 적용되어야할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서 제시된 결과는 국립공원 탐방로 관리방안 마련에 있어 유용한 기초정보를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

        본 연구는 중 ·고등학교 과학 교사를 대상으로 탐구 학습에 관한 인식을 조사하고 교사 수준의 탐구 학습 실태를 조사하기 위한 것이다. 탐구 학습 인식에 관한 설문지를 개발하여 서울교육과학연구원의 실험 연수에 참여한 서울지역 중 · 고등학교 과학 교사를 대상으로 조사한 결과에 의하면, 교사들은 과학 교육의 중요한 목표가 과학에 대한 흥미를 높이는 것이라고 생각하고 있으며, 실생활과 관련된 소재를 수업에 활용하는 것으로 조사되었다. 대부분의 교사가 탐구 학습을 학습자 중심의 열린 탐구 학습에 대한 인식하고 있었고, 대학 입시 제도, 탐구수업 보조 자료의 부족, 학생들의 의지 부족, 교사들의 탐구 학습에 대한 인식의 부족 등이 탐구 학습의 실현을 저해하는 요인으로 조사되었다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese university students' in Shanghai perception for Korean Kimchi. The results were as follows : A questionaire was examined on male 139(49.5%) and female 142(50.5%) college students of residing in Shanghai. Nationality of Kimchi answered Korea 75% of ail the participants, and have eaten Kimchi was 60.9%. Male purchsed commercial Kimchi 42.2% and female restaurant 46.3a(p< .01). The first answered 'it was taste' 51.6% when commercial Kimchi purchsed, and packing size of commercial Kimchi was 200g 56.9%. Among the intake experience have eaten Kimchi was the highest Baechu Kimchi 77.8%, Mu Kimchi 58.5% and Oi Kimchi 35.7%, also preference of Kimchi was Baechu Kimchi 49.7%, Mu Kimchi 26.9% and Oi Kimchi 13.8% in order. After have eaten Kimchi answered good 54.5%(p< .01), Kimchi liked reason were the highest 'refreshing taste' 39.7%, unliked were odor(of garlic, ginger and anchovy juice, etc) and too spicy in order Improvement on consumption extention of Kimchi answered 'not too hot' 30.4%, 'not too salty' 28.6% and 'not over-riped' 21.7%. Perception for Kimchi answered the highest mean 3.51'Kimchi can be preserved for a long time' (p< .05) and 'Kimchi is a good side dish with cooked rice'.

        Korean households' expenditures on foodservices are on the steady increase. This paper aims to examine the foodservice expenditures of salary and wage earners's households by income decile group. This is analysed through comparing foodservice expenditures with private education expenditures because households' expenditures are likely to be weighted in favor of eating-out rather than private education. We also model the consumption function in terms of income and price, examining the responsiveness of private education demand and eating-out demand to changes in income and price using econometric methods such as regression, rolling regression and impulse response. This paper show that foodservice demand increases more than the private education does in the long-run. The result indicates that households are likely to evaluate the desire for foodservice more important than private education contrary to our expectations in the long-run. The impulse response analysis, however, suggests that households tend to increase private education expenditures rather than eating-out expenditures in the short-run.

        English is now commonly called an international or a global language. Korea starts to face some changes in terms of the situational and functional status of English from EFL to ESL. A bilingual education approach called 'immersion education' to teach English is urgently needed to be taken in Korea, especially in the primary school level. The present paper aims to investigate perceptions of primary school teachers about the introduction of English immersion education program. A total of 171 primary school teachers were surveyed employing a questionnaire asking about their knowledge, opinions and attitudes with regard to the introduction of English immersion education in primary schools in Korea. It was found that there are lots of things to take into consideration introducing the English immersion education system in the areas of preor in-service teacher training system, governmental assistance, and other practical issues of deciding starting grade and the subjects for immersion, for example. Some suggestions are provided for a practical guide for the introduction of English immersion education.

        This study was conducted to identify the factors that correlated with food consumption frequency and perceptions of attributes for food selection. The purpose of this study was to improve menu's quality which is related to the food consumption frequency. Taste health and cost perceptions were chosen as the main factors of foods selection from the former related researches. There were differences in foods perception and consumption patterns according to gender. For both of female and male consumers, taste perceptions were highly correlated with consumption of most of foods. Finally, some recommendations which should be considered to correct or improve the quality of menu.

        In the early stages of reading, word decoding skills are prerequisite to reading. Word decoding involves word discrimination, phonemic decoding, and understanding of meaning. In this process, phonemic awareness enables students to examine language independently to manipulate its component sounds, and to use letter-sound correspondences to read and spell words. The 7th national curriculum of English and the primary school English textbooks fail to provide systematic language structure focus to facilitate efficiently student acquisition of the English phonemic system. Therefore, many students suffer from lack of word decoding development as well as encoding development, particularly in the 5th and 6th grades. This study explores the English phonemic awareness of Korean primary school students. To achieve the purpose of this study, a test for phonemic awareness was developed and Korean students' phonemic awareness was examined. The test deals with six areas: phonemic segmentation, phonemic manipulation, syllable splitting, blending, oddity, and invented spelling. The results are as follows: Firstly, many students showed successful results in phonemic segmentation and oddity. However, they have difficulties with syllable splitting and invented spelling. While students have strengths in the awareness of consonants except for r-l, f-p, and b-v, they suffer from lack of awareness of vowels. Secondly, errors of invented spelling and blending showed that students have differing development stages of phonemic awareness, e.g., some students master the phonemic system perfectly whereas others perceive only the alphabetic sounds. Finally, this research suggests that a balanced approach to reading is necessary in the early reading in the Korean context.

        The purpose of this study was evaluate the perception on the relationship between feeding and atopic dermatitis of infants. The results are summarized as follows:. The feeding method of atopic dermatitis infant was composed of breast feeding 26.9%, bottle feeding 50.9%, and mixed feeding 22.2%. 95.3% of the subjects recognized mother's meal during breast feeding were transmitted to infant, but 30.8% of breast feeding restricted their foods. Weaning food was recognized as a nutritional supplement primarily. 61.5% of the subjects perceived the relation between food and atopic dermatitis and 58.8% of the subject perceived atopic dermatitis infants will be cured by growing. 39.9% of the subjects answered that special food developed and made worse atopic dermatitis in their infants. Egg, mackerel, milk, pork, chicken scored high as doubtful food related with atopic dermatitis. It is necessary to find out the food that develop atopic dermatitis symtoms and make guidelines for diet therapy for the infants with atopic dermatitis.

        A study on the recognition on the mushrooms by elementary school pupils, middle school students and school dietitians were-carried out. The ways of cooking mushrooms by school dietitians were also investigated. Most students and dietitians highly recognized mushrooms as good food. The most favorite mushroom was Flammulina velutipes, the cooking of mushrooms with meat and the hot mushroom soup with meat(Jungol) being the most preferred cooking methods. School ditetitians like to use mushrooms in school lunch and generally use medium or high duality mushrooms. Students, however, do not tend to prefer mushrooms compared to other vegetables. Mushroom dishes that can promote the consumption by students are mushroom bulgogi, mushroom pizza, sweet and sour mushroom in the order.

        본 연구는 백두대간 거주 지역주민 및 방문 이용객들의 백두대간에 대한 인식의 파악과 비교를 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 연구대상지인 덕유산 구간지역에 거주하고 있는 주민들과 이곳을 방문한 이용객들을 대상으로 응답자 직접기입방식의 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과, 백두대간에 전반적인 인식 수준은 5점 척도상 3점 이하로 비교적 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 백두대간의 향후 관리 방향에 대해 이용객 응답집단이 지역주민 응답집단에 비해 보다 보전 지향적인 응답경향을 보였으며 양 집단 모두 백두대간이 다른 지역과는 다르게 특별 관리가 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 특히 효율적인 관리를 위해 일정구역을 특별 지정하여 엄중 관리해야 한다는 의견이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 백두대간 관리의 적합한 부처 또는 기관으로 이용객 및 지역주민의 의견은 산림청, 환경부, 국립공원관리공단, 해당 지방자치단체의 순으로 유사한 응답경향을 보였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 결과는 백두대간 관리정책의 효율적인 수립 및 집행을 위한 기초자료로서 이용될 수 있을 것이다. 추후 연구범위 확대 및 지속적인 조사를 통해 여론조성을 위한 방안 마련이 요구된다.
