본 연구의 목적은 운전 상황과 도로 상황에 따른 자율신경계의 반응을 측정하는 것이다. 지금까지의 생리 신호는 대부분 제한된 실험실에서 측정되었고, 이 결과들은 자연스러운 상황에 측정된 데이터와는 차이가 있을 것이다. 그러므로 보다 동적인 환경에서 인간의 감성을 추출하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 건강한 5명의 피험자로부터 심박 변화율, 피부 저항, 피부온도 등의 생리 신호를 측정하였다. 먼저, 정차, 정속 주행, 급출발, 급제동의 운전 상황 변화에 따른 자율신경계의 반응을 측정하였고, 둘째로, 직선 도로와 굴곡이 심한 도로에서 정속 주행을 하면서 생리 신호를 측정하여 도로상황 변화에 따른 자율신경계의 반응을 측정하였다. 정차 및 정속 주행에 비해 급출발, 급제동일 때, 직선도로에 비해 굴곡이 심한 도로에서 주행을 할 때 평균 R-R 간격은 감소하였고, 전력 스펙트럼의 (LF+MF)/HF비는 증가하였고, 피부온도는 감소하였고, 피부저항은 증가하였다. 본 연구로부터, 정차 및 정속 주행에 비해 급출발, 급제동일 때 그리고 직선도로에 비해 굴곡이 심한 도로에서 주행을 할 때 교감신경계의 활성화비가 증가한다는 일치된 경향을 관찰할 수 있었다. 앞으로 피실험자수를 늘려 보다 정확한 통계적 분석을 하고자 한다.
Recently the researches to enhance the hand function of brain injured clients are increased. One of those aspects is related to in-hand manipluation. In-hand manipulation is divided to four types: that is finger-to-palm translation.
palm-to-finger translation, shift, and rotation. The purpose of this study was to find type of in-hand manipulation in normal adults in six activities and to differentiate the pattern of in-hand manipulation between normal adults and children with cerebral palsy. The participants were consist of twenty normal adults and twenty cerebral palsy. children. As a results, cerebral palsy children significantly used at lower frequence than normal adults in 3 activities. Also, in the other items, there are some pattern to differenciate between normal adults and cerebral palsy children but that was not significant statistically. The development of in-hand manipulation skills involves improvement in the dimension of activities of daily living skills training and more detailed evaluation method will be needed.
본 연구에서는 석영을 기판으로 사용하여 텅스텐 실리사이드 게이트를 고온에서 결정화시키고, 이? 발생되는 crack 에 대한 생성원인을 조사하였다. 증착된 텅스텐실리사이드의 실리콘 조성과 실리콘 완층충의 두께가 증가함에 따라 열응력이 감소하는 경향이 관찰되었으며, 과잉의 실리콘 조성을 가진 실리사이드를 열처리한 경우에는 crack에 대한 저항이 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 실리콘 완충층을 사용한 경우는 두께가 증가함에 따라 열응력이 감소하는 경향이 있으나, crack이 보다 쉽게 발생되는 결과를 얻었다. 이는 실리사이드 반응에 의하여 거칠어진 계면에 응력이 집중되어 crack생성을 쉽게하는 것으로 여겨진다. 결과적으로 석영과 텅스텐실리사이드의 열?창계수차이에 의하여 생성되는 열응력이 crack생성의 주원인으로 작용하고, 실리콘 완층층을 사용한 구조하에서는 계면에서 일어나는 실리사이드반응이 crack생성에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각된다.
Twenty normal female subjects participated in a study designed to motion on the time required to complete manual tasks from the Jebsen Hand Function Test. The Jebsen Hand Function Test consists of seven subtests: writing; turning cards; picking up small objects; simulating feeding; stacking checkers; picking up large and light objects; picking up large and heavy objects. At this study, writing was excluded. Activities were performed with the wrist free and with the wrist immobilized by the volar splints that were flexed 40" and 80" . Data were analyzed using the MANOVA(Mu1tiple analysis of variance) and the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results showed that the time for performing the subtasks(turning cards, picking up small objects, stacking checkers) statistically significantly decreased during a wrist 40" flexion rather than a wrist free.
Especially when a wrist was flexed 80" , the performing time of all subtasks statistically significantly decreased rather than a wrist free. Only one subtask(simu1ating feeding), 20-29 years old female statistically significantly decreased in performing time rather than 30-39 years old female with a wrist free. This study presents that a hand function is affected by a variable wrist position.
더덕 물추출물이 면역세포에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구한 결과, 더덕 물추출물을 경구투여한 경우 흉선세포의 증식을 촉진하였으나. 흉선세포에 직접 처리한 경우는 그다지 영향을 주지 않았다. 경구투여시 T_H 세포를 활성화하였다. 더덕물추출물은 경구투여시 복강 매크로파지의 NO 생성을 억제하였고, 사람 PMN 세포의 phagocytosis를 증가시켰다. 이 결과는 더덕이 생체내에서 면역작용을 증강시킬 수 있는 것을 시사한다.
홍게를 데친 가공액을 pH 4.0로 침전시켜 분리 단백질을 제조한 후 기능성 즉, 용해도, 유화력 및 유화 안정성을 pH와 염농도 등을 달리하여 콩 단백질과 비교 측정하였다. 단백질 용해도는 홍게 단백질과 비교구로 사용된 콩 단백질 모두 pH 4.0에서 가장 낮았고, pH 2.0와 pH 8.0 이상에서는 크게 증가하였다. 0.5M NaCl 첨가시는 홍게 단백질과 콩 단백질 모두 전 pH 범위에서 단백질의 용해도가 감소하였다. 유화력은 각 시료 단백질의 등전점 부근에서 가장 낮았고 단백질 농도가 증가할수록 유화력도 증가하였다. 유화 안정성은 유화력과 비슷한 크기로 나타나, 80℃에서 30분 가열하여도 안정하였다. 수분 흡착력은 콩 단백질이 우수한 반면 유지 흡착력은 홍게 단백질이 더 우수하였다.
Body position is known to have an effect on vital capacity(VC). The purpose of this study was to examine effect on VC of posture, sex and smoking, and the difference between predicted and measured values of VC. VC was measured in the standing and the head-down position in 40 healthy subjects (20 men and 20 women) in a random order of testing. When subjects changed from standing to head-down position, this VC decreased by 19.9%. In both positions, VC changes in men were significantly larger than in women. No statistically significant difference was found in men who smoked. There was no difference between the predicted and measured values in men. But measured values were larger than predicted values in women. Because VC can decrease by 19.9% in the head-down position due to the effect of gravity, attention should be paid especially to patients who are placed in the head-down position for postural drainage since they already have a decreased VC.
Vibrio vulnificus, a normal inhabitant in estuaries, is of great concern because it is a potent human pathogen causing septicemia, wound infection and gastrointestinal disease in susceptible hosts. To elucidate the distribution and environmental factors of V. vulnificus in Kum river, sampling was undertaken in five station from March, 26, 1993 to February, 22, 1994. Samples of 54 and 49 were collected from seawater and bottom deposit. The total detection rate of V. vulnificus was 11.7%. The detection rates of V. vulniftcus in the seawater and the bottom deposit were 9.3% and 14.3% respectively. V. vulnificus was mainly detected in estuary water when temperature was above 23℃ and salinity was below 15‰. We suppose that water temperature, salinity, pH and COD affect growth of V. vulnificus.
This study was done to evaluate the effects of grape variety, pH and sugar contents on textural and sensory properties of grape pectin jelly. As a gelling agent, pectin 1% was selected due to highest sensory scores in preparatory experiments and also nutritional and economical reasons. To get the proximate composition of grape extract, moisture, pH, reducing sugar, and total titratable acidity was measured. Grape pectin jellies, made by 12 different recipies, were tested by sensory and instrumental evaluatoin. The results were as follows; 1) Hardness and chewiness were lowered in grape jelly which has lower pH and lower sugar contents. 2) People preferred grape jelly which has lower hardness, brittleness and sweetness, and higher sourness. 3) Comparing overall quality, Recipe C1 in Jelly 1 and recipe B1 in Jelly 2 were chosen as best. 4) Sensory hardness showed positive correlation with instrumental hardness, brittleness and chewiness.
천연 식품재료를 대상으로 superoxide dismutase 활성 측정법을 이용 superoxide radical 소거능에 대하여 검색하였다. 총 47종의 시료중 냉이 buffer 추출물이 11.6 unit/㎎ solid의 비교적 높은 활성을 나타내었으므로 이후 실험이 대상시료로 선정하였다. 냉이의 최적 추출용매를 선정하기 위하여 각종 용매로 추출한 후 수소공여능 및 linoleic acid에 대한 과산화지질 형성 억제능을 조사한 결과 에탄올 추출물에서 가장 높은 활성을 보였다. 냉이 에탄올 추출물은 50℃에서의 대두유 자동산화에 대해 항산화 활성을 나타내었으며, 에탄올 추출물 0.2% 첨가시 대조구에 비해 유도기간이 약 2배 증가하는 효과를 나타내었다.
This study was carried out to estimate the daily intake of lead and the relationship among dietary intake, serum level, and urinary excretion of calcium in 30 healthy adults living in rural area of Korea(12 males and 18 females). Analyses for the nutritional status of the subjects were performed by 3-day dietary intake record, duplicated diet collection, 24-hour urine collection, and venous blood sampling. The results were as follows : The mean daily intake of energy was 2, 176.3㎉ and l, 613.9㎉ in males and females of 20∼49years, and l, 914.8㎉ and l, 517.9㎉ in males and females of 50∼59years, respectively. The ratio of carbohydrate: fat: protein was 73.4:13.6:13.0 in males and 76.4:10.3:13.3 in females. The mean daily intake of lead was 277.2㎍ in males and 192.0㎍ in females. The mean daily intake, serum level, and urinary excretion of calcium were 491.1㎎, 8.9㎎/㎗, and 80.7㎎ in males and 426.7㎎, 8.8㎎/㎗, and 80.3㎎ in females, respectively. No significant correlation was found between the daily lead intake and the dietary intake, serum level, and urinary excretion of calcium. It was concluded that the daily lead intake was lower than the acceptable daily lead intake of FAO/WHO but a little higher than that of other investigations. And the daily lead intake was not level that relate to calcium status seriously.
Deer horn has been used in oriental medicine and folk remedy. It has had much effects on `health and tonic efficacy`. But this word, `health and tonic efficacy`, is very obscure in modern sense. This report attempts to investigate their scientific and objective effects among many papers. The biochemical components of antler are composed of pentoses, hexoses, acid mucopolys-accharides, free and ester fatty acids, glycolipids, phospholipids, prostaglandins, sterols, protein and peptides, free amino acids, minerals, hormones etc. Deer horn extract especially increases body weight gain and feed efficiency, and it stimulates the ability of spermatogenesis of animal. However, a few papers have reported concerning the toxicity and side effects of antler.
A strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY-366was found to produce a strong sucrose-hydrolyzing enzyme Using this strain, the optimal culture conditions for the production of invertase were investigated. The results are as follows : 1. For enzyme production, optimal temperature, initial pH and critical concentrations of sucrose and raffinose were 30℃, 5.0 and 3.0%, respectively. 2. Enzyme production was reached maxium by organic nitrogen source, 0.3% yeast extract plus 0.5% bactopeptone. 3. It was appeared the presence of 0.1M Mn^2+ and Fe^2+ ion was essential factors, on the other hand, 0.1M Ag^+ and Hg^2+ ion almost block in yeast growth and enzyme production. 4. Invertase productivity was reached maxium within 3days on stationary culture with medium-composed of sucrose 3%, bactopeptone 0.5%, yeast extract 0.3%, K_2HPO_4 0.1%, MgSO4·7H_2O 0.05%.
This investigation revealed not only the women`s actual condition of dietary habits, but also the factors related to the formation of them. The subjects were 400 women at Seoul area. The results were as follows : 1. It was observed that their home descipline, the school education and consciousness were all related to the formation and their dietary habits, and that the practice and experience of preparing meals were most important in order to cultivate their good dietary habits. 2. Actual condition of dietary habits were generally not satisfactory.
This experiment was carried out to investigate the changes in quality of pork organs such as the meat of large intestine, small intestine and liver during frozen storage at -18±1℃. The result obtained were as follows ; 1. The moisture contents in the meat of large intestine, small intestine and liver was 61.1%, 65.1% and 71.3% and the content of crude fat was 27.1%, 21.5% and 5.0% respectively. 2. Weight loss increased in the course of storage period, and liver showed the least weight loss in them. 3. Total lipid in the meat of large intestine, small intestine and liver was 24.4%, 19.2% and 4.3% respectively, and which decreased gradually in the course of storage period. 4. The content of volatile basic nitrogen in raw meat was 20㎎% within and without before storage treatment, and that of the value was 24.2㎎% within after 3 weeks storage.
