        The polycrystalline CdS of large scale were grown by chemical pyrolysis deposition for Cu2S/CdS heterojunction solar cells. For high quality CdS polycrystalline thin films, the chemical solution was deposited on indium tin oxide(ITO) glasses at the temperature of 500℃ for 15 second and annealed at 350℃ for 20 minute or 500℃ for 30 second. To fabricate high efficiency solar cells, optical and electrical properties, morphology by SEM and x-ray diffraction on polycrystalline CdS thin films were investigated. From the I-V characteristics of Cu2S/CdS heterojunction, the open circuit voltage, Voc was 0.7 V and the short circuit current, Isc was 4.2 mA. We found that the fill factor(FF) was 0.5 and the efficiency was 2.5%.

        The survey was carried out to obtain some fundmental data to improve the dietary life and to establish the nutritonal education and policy on inhabitants lived in isle area near by demilitarized zone in Korea. For this, 33 families in the area of Kyodong island located at Kanghwa-Gun, Kyungki province were randomly selected. Trained surveyors visited each house to survey the food and nutritional status in summer during 3 days in August, 1987. The results are summarized as follows; The number of foods they were taking totalled 17 categories and 134 kinds of which 104 kinds were vegetable foods. The average amount of food intake was 1465.3g per person per day, animal food occupied 9.6% only. The intake amount of fruit among vegetable foods, and fishes, shells, milk and eggs among animal foods was lower than the national average. Each proportion of carbohydrate, fat and protein to the total energy intake was 70.4%, 9.7% and 19.9%. The foods they used to take a lot were rice, potatoes, cucumbers, cabbage KIMCHIE and YULMOO KIMCHIE in order of their intake amount. The energy intake was 3064㎉ which is higher than nutritional requirements, and the energy ratio of cereals to the total energy in take is 76%. If the amount of fat intake is fixed to 20% of total energy intake, the amount of fat intake is 68g, but the actual amount of fat intake was only 33g. With an increase of total energy intake, supply of calcium and vitamin A should be increased much more.

        Recently, an interest has developed in the use of whole green grains as functional food materials. The present study was conducted to provide the baseline data for the stable production of whole green grains in 20 cultivars of wheat by investigating the greenness of grain with maturation (from 20 th to 41 st day after heading, at an interval of 3 days). On the 20 th day after heading, the grains were dark green with a wrinkled long-oval shape. After the 35 th day of heading, the grains turned almost yellow with an oval shape. Their redness (‘a’ value of chromaticity) increased from the 20 th to 41 st days after heading, indicating a negative value up to the 32 nd day after heading. A significant decrease in their chlorophyll content was observed with maturation. The yield of whole green wheat grain (including greenish yellow grain) was the highest from the 32 nd to 35 th after heading. Therefore, we concluded that the optimal harvesting period for whole green wheat grain was from the 32 nd to 35 th day after heading. The heading time of various cultivars ranged from April 28 to May 5, the time of Jopummil cultivar grew the fastest among them, such as Gurumil, Alchanmil, but Dahongmil got the latest in heading time. The greenness of seven cultivars (Jeokjungmil, Keumkangmil, Jogyeongmil, Jopummil, Baekjungmil, Yeonbaekmil, and Milseongmil) was relatively higher than that of the others. The yield of greenish whole grain was relatively high in six cultivars (Alchanmil, Baekjungmil, Eunpamil, Yeonbaekmil, Dahongmil, and Urimil). Based on their greenness and yield, the Baekjungmil and Yeonbaekmil cultivars have been considered to be optimal for the production of whole green wheat grain.

        This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different sowing times (May 25, June 10, June 25, July 10, and July 25) on growth and yield of four proso millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) cultivars (Hwanggeumkijang, Manghongchal, Ibaekchal, and Hwangsilchal) at a cultivation area in Iksan, Jeonbuk Province. Heading and ripening times were delayed, with later sowing times in all cultivars, and the periods for heading and ripening were shortened. For sowing from May 25 to July 25, the growth stage was shorter by 40 days in Manghongchal, 38 days in Hwanggeumkijang, 36 days in Hwangsilchal, and 30 days in Ibaekchal. The culm length, ear length, ear width, and culm diameter differed significantly between the cultivars and sowing times. In particular, the culm and ear lengths were considerably reduced when the sowing time was delayed. The grain yield (kg/10a) of Hwanggeumkijang and Ibaekchal was 312 and 359 kg, respectively, for sowing on June 10; and that of Manhongchal and Hwangsilchal was 286 and 404 kg, respectively, for sowing on June 25. Thus, the optimum sowing time was June 25 for Hwanggeumkijang and Ibaekchal, and June 10 for Manhongchal and Hwangsilchal.

        ‘Jungmo1024’ is a blast resistant early maturing rice cultivar with high temperature tolerance during grain filling stage. ‘Jungmo1024’ was derived from a sodium azide treatment on ‘Suweon472’, a high yielding japonica elite line which was latterly registered as ‘Namil’. Comparison with the agronomical traits of ‘Namil’, ‘Jungmo1024’ was uniquely characterized as the induced gained function due to the reduced culm length, increased tiller number, strong blast resistance and especially high temperature tolerance during grain filling stage. The high temperature tolerance of ‘Jungmo1024’ was supported by two years experiments by comparing the head rice ratio produced in ordinary paddy field and green house condition. The heading date of ‘Jungmo1024’ was July 29 in central plain area, which was 9 days earlier than that of ‘Hwaseong’. The milled rice yield performance of ‘Jungmo1024’ was about 4.98 MT/ha in local adaptability test for three years. ‘Jungmo1024’ had 69 cm in culm length, which was 15 cm shorter than that of ‘Hwaseong’, 20 cm in panicle length, 16 in tiller number, and 22.3g in 1,000 grain-weight of brown rice. ‘Jungmo1024’ exhibited strong rice blast resistance, but do not have any clear resistance gene sources against bacterial blight, viral diseases and insect fests. ‘Jungmo1024’, nevertheless, would be a useful rice cultivar could be used as a donor line for the breeding programs for developing southern plane adaptable early maturing rice cultivars with enhanced rice blast resistance, lodging tolerance, and especially high temperature tolerance during grain filling stage.

        ‘중모1023’은 중부지역 평야지 조기재배 적응 고품질 품종을 육성할 목적으로 2003년 하계에 영덕34호를 모본으로, 익산456호와 SR21097-B-B-19-2-2가 교배된 F1을 부본으로 교배하였다. 후대에서 SR29156-11-2-B-2계통을 선발하여 ‘수원534호’로 계통명을 부여하였고, 2012년 12월 농촌진흥청 직무육성 신품종선정위원회에서 ‘중모1023’으로 선정되었다. ‘중모1023’은 중부지역 보통기 재배에서 평균 출수기가 8월 3일로 ‘화성’보다 6일 빠른 조생종이다. 간장은 80 cm로 ‘화성’보다 4 cm 작은 단간 내도복성이며, 이삭당 입수는 107개로 ‘화성’보다 14개가 많았다. 등숙비율은 85%로 ‘화성’보다 높고, 현미 천립중이 21.8 g으로 ‘화성’과 비슷한 중소립종이다. ‘중모1023’은 잎도열병에 강한 저항성 반응을 보였고, 이삭도열병 포장검정에서도 ‘화성’보다 강한 반응을 보였다. 흰잎마름병에는 K1, K2, K3균계에 강한 반응을 보이고 K3a 균계에는 저항성이 없었다. 줄무늬잎마름병에도 강한 반응을 보였으나 오갈병, 검은줄오갈병 및 벼멸구에 대한 저항성은 없었다. ‘중모1023’은 3.3%의 불시출수 현상을 보였고, 종합적인 내랭성은 중정도, 수발아율 17.3% 그리고 도복 관련 특성은 ‘화성’과 비슷한 반응을 보였다. ‘중모1023’의 쌀 외관은 맑고 투명하였으며, 아밀로스함량은 18.4% 이었고, ‘화성’보다 밥맛이 우수하였다. 도정률은 ‘화성’보다 1.9% 낮았지만, 완전미율이96.2%로 높아 완전미 도정수율은 ‘화성’의 55.2% 보다 높은 70.1%로 도정특성이 우수하였다. 쌀수량은 2010∼2012년 3개년 중부지역 7 개소에서 보통기 보비재배 평균 4.56 MT/ha로 ‘화성’의 93% 수량성을 보였다. 그러나 조기재배 2년 평균 4.99 MT/ha로 ‘조평’ 대비 98%의 수량성을 보여 평야지 조기재배 적응성을 보였다. ‘중모1023’의 재배적지는 중부·중북부 평야지 및 동북부해안지이다.

        The ‘Cheongun’ is a rice variety derived from a cross between ‘Suweon462’ which has translucent milled rice and medium maturity and ‘Milyang192’ that the elite line has a bacterial blight resistance and mid-late maturing property by the rice breeding team at NICS, RDA in 2012. The heading date of ‘Cheongun’ is August 13 and five days later than check variety, ‘Hwaseong’. It has 87 cm of culm length and 114 spikelets per panicle. It showed weaker cold tolerance than that of ‘Hwaseong’while exposed to cold stress. ‘Cheongun’ showed resistance to blast disease, K1, K2 and K3 race of bacterial blight and stripe virus, but susceptible to K3a race, other viruses and planthoppers. The milled rice of this variety exhibits translucent, clear non-glutinous endosperm and short grain shape. It has similar protein content (6.7%) and amylose content (19.5%) to that of ‘Hwaseong’. ‘Cheongun’ showed better palatability index of cooked rice than that of ‘Hwaseong’. Its milled rice recovery rate is similar to those of ‘Hwaseong’. However, whole grain rate of milled rice is higher than that of ‘Hwaseong’. ‘Cheongun’ has 4.98 MT/ha of milled rice productivity in ordinary cultivation. ‘Cheongun’ could be adaptable to the middle plain area in Korea (Registration No. 5114).

        ‘Jungmo1029’, a late-maturing, high biomass and multiple disease resistant rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivar, was developed for whole crop silage (WCS) use. It was derived from a cross between ‘Gillim collection1’ with high biomass and ‘Junam’ which has some of diseases resistant genes. This elite cultivar had about 127 days growth period from seeding to heading, 105 cm culm length, 11 panicles per hill, 163 spikelets per panicle and 1,000-grain weight of 21.5 g as brown rice. This WCS rice variety was weak to cold stresses similar to ‘Nokyang’ but was tolerant to lodging in the field. In addition, ‘Jungmo1029’ was resistant to leaf and neck blast, bacterial blight except race K3a and rice stripe virus but susceptible to brown planthopper. Its average dry matter yield for three years reached 17.1 MT/ha, 14% higher than that of ‘Nokyang’. This stay green cultivar had good quality for WCS with low acid detergent fiber and high total digestible nutrients similar to ‘Nokyang’.‘Jungmo1029’ was suitable for cultivation in the central and southern plain area of the South Korean peninsula and required to harvest 15~30 days after heading to improve the digestibility of cattle (Registration No. 5104).

        There are farmer’s demands to develop early-maturing cultivar in order to replace Odae variety to mid-northern inland plain and southern mountainous area of Korea. Saeodae was developed by the rice breeding team of Cheolwon Substation, National Institute of Crop Science (NICS), RDA in 2012. This cultivar was derived from the cross between Geuroobyeo and Suweon 472 in 2001 summer season, and selected by a promising line, SR27376-2-2-1-3, was selected and designated as the line of Cheolweon 81 in 2010. The local adaptability test of Cheolweon 81 was carried out at four locations from 2010 to 2012 and it was named as Saeodae. The heading date of Saeodae is July 25 in Cheolwon area, which is 2 days earlier than that of Odae. This variety has 66cm in culm length and 77 spikelets per panicle. Its 1,000 grain-weight of brown rice is 26.5 g, which is similar to that of Odae. Germination rate at low temperature of this variety is about 70%, and viviparous germination is 17.7%. Cold tolerance of this cultivar is still not good, just mediocre. It shows strong lodging resistance. And premature heading, occurrence of wilting during ripening stage, and leaf senescence at maturing are similar to those of Odae. This variety shows resistance to leaf blast disease, but susceptible to bacterial blight, virus disease and insect pest. This variety has translucent and clear milled rice kernel without white core and belly rice. The yield potential of Saeodae was about 5.26 MT/ha at ordinary fertilizer level in local adaptability test for three years. This variety would be adaptable to mid-northern inland plain and southern mountainous area of Korea.

        우수한 사료자원으로 평가되는 케나프의 생산단가를 낮 추기 위하여 새만금 간척지 시험포에서 염농도 단계별 생육 및 수량을 관찰한 결과 케나프는 중·상정도의 내염성을 보 유한 작물로 평가할 수 있으며 충분한 제염이 이루어진다고 하면 간척지에서의 재배 가능성도 충분할 것으로 평가할 수 있었다. 염농도별 케나프의 발아력을 조사한 결과 토양 염 농도가 4.0 dS/m (=0.26%) 일 때 84%이던 케나프 발아율 이 5.0 dS/m (=0.32%) 에서는 18%로 급격히 떨어졌으며 6.0 dS/m (=0.39%) 에서는 발아율이 10%를 넘지 못하였다. 또한 생육 상황도 토양 염농도에 비례하여 급격히 떨어졌는 데 케나프는 줄기직경을 2.6 cm 이상으로 유지할 수 있을 경우 엽수가 유의할 수준으로 늘어나고 줄기부분에 대한 상 대적 무게비율이 증가하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이는 잎 의 분열을 촉진시킬 수 있는 충분한 생장량 확보가 줄기직 경 2.6 cm 이상에서부터 가능하다는 것을 의미하는데 새만 금에서는 토양 염농도 4.0 dS/m (=0.26%) 이하에서는 케나 프의 줄기직경을 2.6 cm 이상으로 유지하는 것이 가능하였 으나 염농도가 5.0 dS/m (=0.32%)를 넘어서게 되면 줄기직 경이 2.0 cm 이하로 엽수도 20~46% 감소하였다. 생육장해는 파종 후 1개월 경과부터 본격적으로 나타나기 시작하였 는데 엽 정단이 고사하고 주변 잎 들이 급격하게 황화 낙엽 되는 현상이 발생하였다. 케나프의 토양 염농도에 대한 수 량성을 분석한 결과 토양 염농도 4.0 dS/m (=0.26%) 까지 는 비간척지에 비해 수량이 최대 19% 하락하였으나 염농도간 차이는 크지 않았다. 그러나 토양 염농도가 4.0 dS/m (=0.26%) 를 넘어서는 5.0 dS/m (=0.32%) 에서는 비간척지의 51% 수준을 유지하는데 그쳤으며 토양 염농도 4.0 dS/m (=0.26%) 일 때의 수량에 비해서도 38% 감소하였다. 통계분석을 통 하여 간척지에서 수량성 감소를 80% 이내로 유지 할 수 있 는 토양 염농도를 산출해본 결과 토양 염농도가 4.2 dS/m 이내로 유지될 경우 케나프의 생산성은 80% 이상을 유지할 수 있었다.

        In order to produce the high quality of dried-ear mushroom, various drying methods such as hot-air drying at 40~80˚C, freeze drying and drying in vinyl house were carried out. Drying hours of hot-air drying, freeze drying and drying in vinyl house were 12.5~21.5, 36.0 and 72.0 hrs, respectively. Vitamin D2 content of sample was the highest as 6.77μg/g DW in drying in vinyl house and then followed by freeze drying as 5.90μg/g DW and hot-air drying as 1.89~5.01μg/g DW. After dry, external appearance and color of mushrooms applied hot-air drying and drying in vinyl house were better than freeze-dried one. After rehydration, water uptake of sample in drying in vinyl house and hot-air drying at 50~60˚C were 17.8 and 19.3~21.0 times, respectively. The methods of drying in vinyl house and hot-air drying at 50~60˚C also led to high hardness, good shape and resilience. As the results of production of dried-ear mushroom with high quality, we suggest that the best method for drying is the drying in vinyl house due to not only high vitamin D2 content, good external appearance and color after drying but also high hardness and good shape after rehydration.

        Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) was recognized as a potential source of forage. But the domestic cultivation techniques are not set standards yet. So we tested the basic culture techniques during 2012~2013 for getting a high yield and good grade forage production system. The best seeding method for mechanized planting (corn planter used) was hill seeding with 20×20 cm seeding distance. When we treated hill seeding with 20×20 cm, the yield what we could get was 13,641 kg/10a and it was 32% more than that of conventional practice hill seeding with 20×30 cm seeding distance. The proper seeding date for getting high yield was May 1. In May 1, the yield per 10a was reached 13,423 kg, and it was 30% more than that of seeding at May 30. More over the crude protein content which was important factor for determinating forage nutritive value was 12.7% and it was higher 1.8% (relatively 16.5% high) than that of May 30 seeding. The most effective herbicide for kenaf was Fluazipof-p-butyl. It’s herbicidal rate was 97% and phyto-toxicity was less than 5%. Regional adaptability for Jeollabuk-Do including Imsil Gun, Kochang Gun and Sunchang Gun were identified that the stable cultivation were possible in these area with average yield 12,400 kg/10a and it was about 1.7 times as compared to corn harvest.

        농촌진흥청 국립식량과학원에서 논 조건 적응 국수용 품종의 제분율 증가와 붉은곰팡이병 저항성 증진을 목적으로 1996년도에 백립계 춘파 다수성인 Bacanora88을 모본으로 하고, 현재 국내 최대 재배되고 있는 금강밀을 부본으로 인공교배하여 YW2948 조합을 육성하였다. 경기도 연천에서 집단재배 후 계통을 전개하여 초형과 수형이 양호하며 숙기가 빠르고 내한성이 강한 계통인 YW2948-B-B-1-1-1-1-1-1을 2005년과 2006년도 2년간 생산력검정을 거쳐 ‘익산320호’로 계통명을 부여하고, 2007년부터 3개년 동안 지역적응시험을 실시한 결과 숙기가 빠르며 백립계이고, 붉은곰팡이병에 중도 저항성을 나타냈다. 제분율이 높으며 밀가루와 국수 색택이 밝고, 식미감이 우수하여 2009년 농작물 직무육성 신품종심의회에서 ‘중모2004’로 명명하였다. 그 후 국립종자원의 재배심사를 거쳐 2013년 종자산업법제55조에 따라 품종보호 등록 원부에 등록되었다. 중모2004의 파성은 III형으로 양절형이고, 엽색은 녹색이며 이삭은 방추형이고, 종자는 중간크기로 백색이다. 출수기와 성숙기는 밭 조건 조건에서 각각 4월 24일과 6월 4일로 금강밀보다 1~2일 빠르고, 논 조건에서는 각각 4월 21일과 6월 2일로 2일 빠르다. 내한성은 금강밀보다 약하지만 수발아 저항성은 금강밀보다 강하고, 흰가루병과 붉은곰팡이병은 감수성이다. 중모2004의 제분율은 금강밀보다 약간 낮지만, 밀가루의 품질과 국수 가공특성이 비슷한 특성을 보였다. 천립중은 42.5 g으로 금강밀보다 약간 적은 소립이며, 지역적응성 시험에서 밭 조건 수량은 517 kg/10a으로 11% 감소하였고, 논 조건 수량은 534 kg/10a로 금강밀보다 3% 증수하였다.

        농촌진흥청 국립식량과학원에서 수확시기가 빠른 국수용밀 품종 개발을 목적으로 1997년도에 조숙 계통인 SW86054 를 모본으로 하고 현재 국내 최대 재배되고 있는 금강밀을 부본으로 인공교배하여 SW97031 조합을 육성하였다. 경기도 연천에서 집단재배 후 계통을 전개하여 초형과 수형이 양호하며 숙기가 빠르고 내한성이 강한 계통인 SW97031-B-47-4-1-5-1-1을 2005년과 2006년도 2년간 생산력검정을 거쳐 ‘익산318호’로 계통명을 부여하고, 2007년부터 3개년 동안 지역적응시험을 실시한 결과 숙기가 빠르며 내한성이 강하고, 백립계이면서 수발아 중도저항성으로 생산안정성이 우수하였다. 밀가루와 국수 색택이 좋고 식미감이 우수하지만 단위면적당 수량 개선이 요구되어 2009년 농작물 직무육성 신품종심의회에서 ‘중모2003’으로 명명하였다. 그 후 국립종자원의 재배심사를 거쳐 2013년 종자산업법제55조에 따라 품종보호등록 원부에 등록되었다. 중모2003의 파성은 III형으로 양절형이고, 엽색은 녹색이며 이삭은 방추형이고, 종자는 중간크기로 백색이다. 출수기와 성숙기는 밭 조건 조건에서 각각 4월 24일과 6월 4일로 금강밀보다 1~2일 빠르고, 논 조건에서는 각각 4월 21일과 6월 2일로 2일 빠르다. 추위와 수발아저항성이 강하고, 흰가루병과 붉은곰팡이병은 감수성이다. ‘중모2003’의 제분율은 금강밀보다 약간 낮지만, 밀가루의 품질과 국수 가공특성이 비슷한 특성을 보였다. 천립중은 42.5g으로 금강밀보다 약간 적은 소립이며, 지역적응성 시험에서 밭 조건 수량은 555 kg/10a, 논 조건 수량은 485 kg/10a로 금강밀보다 4%와 7% 감수하였다.

        국립식량과학원에서 수발아와 붉은곰팡이병 등에 대한 내재해성이 강한 국수용 밀 품종 육성을 목적으로 1997년도에 금강밀과 은파밀을 인공교배 한 F1을 모본으로 하고 다시 금강밀을 부본으로 인공교배하여 SW97005 조합을 육성하였다. 경기도 연천에서 집단재배 후에 계통을 전개하여 초형과 수형이 양호하고 내한성이 강한 계통인 SW97005-B-26-5-4-1-1-1을 2005년과 2006년도 2년간 생산력검정을 거쳐 ‘익산319호’로 계통명을 부여하고, 2007년부터 3개년 동안 지역적응시험을 실시한 결과 내한성이 강하고, 수발아 저항성이며 붉은곰팡이병에 중도저항성이고, 수량이 많을 뿐만 아니라 국수가공적성이 우수하여 2009년 농작물 직무육성 신품종심의회에서 ‘수안밀’로 명명하였다. 그 후 국립종자원의 재배심사를 거쳐 2013년 종자산업법제55조에 따라 품종보호 등록 원부에 등록되었다. 수안밀의 파성은 III형으로 양절형이고, 엽색은 녹색이며 이삭은 방추형이고, 종자는 중간크기로 적색이다. 출수기와 성숙기는 밭상태 조건에서 각각 4월 25일과 6월 4일로 금강밀보다 1일 빠르고, 논상태에서는 각각 4월 23일과 6월 4일로 동일하다. 내한성과 수발아 저항성이 강하고 붉은곰팡이병은 중도저항성이다. 수안밀의 제분율은 금강밀보다 약간 낮고, 단백질 함량과 회분함량이 낮아 밀가루 색이 밝고 단백질적 특성은 국수용에 적합하다. 천립중은 43.7 g으로 금강밀보다 약간 적은 소립이며, 지역적응성 시험에서 밭상태 수량은 594 kg/10a, 논상태 수량은 563 kg/10a로 금강밀보다 3%와 8% 증수하였다.

        The objective of this study was to evaluate quality properties including amylose, alkali digestion value (ADV), texture and GABA (Gamma Amino-Butyric Acid) of brown rice and 1~5 mm germinated brown rice of Keunnun and Samkwang culitvars. The protein content of germinated brown rice showed increasing tendency according to shoot length, however, the difference was not statistically significant. The amylose content of all samples ranged from 15.0% to 16.0% in Keunnun and 17.0% to 18.0% in Samkwang, without significant differences. Compared to regular brown rice, germinated brown rice from both cultivars demonstrated reduced gel consistency, which contributed to the improved cooked rice texture. Especially, germinated brown rice had significantly lower setback values, which is correlated with high palatability of cooked rice. However, there was no significant difference in gel consistency between 1 mm and 2~5 mm germinated brown rice. GABA content in Keunnun increased by 3~5 times after germination process. In Samkwang, GABA content increased by 50 times (from 0.005 μg/g to 0.243~0.247 μg/g) after germination. The hardness of germinated brown rice was significantly lower than that of brown rice. However, there was no significant difference in hardness according to shoot length. Consequently, when processing germinate brown rice, it is recommended to maximize functional ingredients by germination while maintaining shoot length less than 2 mm.

        As concerns have been raised about health effects of children's products containing hazardous chemicals on children, the Korea Ministry of Environment announced 135 environmental hazardous substances in children’s products (EHSCP) which were subject to risk assessment. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the current status of EHSCP for management due to their various exposure routes and types. In this study, we investigated the exposure assessment of EHSCP as well as relevant policies implemented in domestic and foreign countries. Domestic and foreign cases of detection of EHSCP were reviewed in the literature and websites of related agencies. Due to the lack of reference values for child-specific toxicity of EHSCP, those for adults and regulatory status of EHSCP were also investigated and reviewed with literature. The related agencies of foreign countries provided 13 child-specific reference doses (RfDs), 76 RfDs, and 42 reference concentrations as toxicity reference values of the EHSCP. Among substances investigated in the studies to assess exposure of hazardous substances in children’s products by the Korea Ministry of Environment, 23 substances were included in 135 EHSCP. The same studies identified 9 substances which were excluded from the 135 EHSCP. For regulatory status for hazardous substances in children’s products, 44 substances (32.6 %) and 84 substances (62.2 %) of 135 EHSCP were under regulation in Korea and foreign countries, respectively. In the present study, we found that a list of 135 EHSCP should be revised to ensure children’s safety.

        온대지역의 벼 품종을 열대지역 재배시 불수출수로 인하여 수확량이 급감하는 경향을 보이는 데 중․만생종이 이러 한 환경변화에 더욱 민감하다. 이러한 장벽을 극복하고자 필리핀 국제벼연구소내 한국지소에서 열대지역에서도 정상적인 생육을 나타내는 ‘진미‘와 밥맛이 좋고 병해에 강한 ‘철원46호‘를 교배하여 열대지역에서도 잘 생육하여 수량성도 높으면서 병에도 강한 온대벼 ‘아세미(수원574호)‘를 개발하였다. 필리핀 현지에서는 간장이 66cm로 작 고 주당수수 12개 수당립수 84개였으며 등숙률을 보면 현지 품종(IR 72)의 등숙률이 63%인데 ‘아세미‘는 77%로 높았고 수확량도 헥타르 당 4∼5 톤으로서, 현지 품종인 ‘IR72’보다 10% 가까이 많았고, 밥맛도 좋았다. 우리나라 에서는 출수기가 8월1일로 ‘화성‘(8월 12일)보다 11일 빨랐으며 간장은 82cm, 수장 21cm, 수수 12개, 수당립수 109 개, 등숙률 83%였고 현미천립중이 22.5g인 중립종이다. 생리장해 저항성으로 유묘적고가 거의 없고 감수분열기 임실률도 높아 내랭성을 어느 정도 갖추고 있었다. 잎도열병 저항성은 보통 수준이었고 흰잎마름병에는 약하나 줄무늬잎마름병에는 강했다. 또한 심복백정도 백미완전미율 등 미질특성은 ‘화성‘과 비슷하였다. 수량성은 중북 부 내륙지와 중서부 해안지에서 ‘화성‘보다 10%정도 높았고 중북부 산간지에서는 ‘오대‘보다 13%높은 수준을 보 였다. 이처럼 ‘아세미‘는 열대지역이나 우리나라에서 잘 재배되는 것으로 보아 아시아 지역에 재배가 가능한 비감 광성 광지역적응성을 갖춘 벼 품종임이 확인되었다.
