As a pilot initiative of an important industrial policy, the Pilot Free Trade Zone (PFTZ) provides a valuable opportunity to examine its impact on the labor market. This paper evaluates the employment effects of PFTZs using a staggered Difference-in-Differences (DID) approach, based on data from 257 prefecture-level cities in China from 2010 to 2019. The results show that the establishment of PFTZs has significantly promoted employment growth, with varying effects across different batches of PFTZs. Among them, the Shanghai PFTZ remains the core of this policy experiment. Additionally, the implementation of PFTZs has led to significant shifts in employment structure, characterized by a decline in secondary sector employment and an increase in tertiary sector employment. Further analysis reveals that employment growth is particularly notable in sub-sectors such as information and computer services, public administration, and environmental utilities. Overall, our findings demonstrate the positive role of government-led industrial policies in promoting economic development and provide valuable insights for future policy design. This study explores the educational choices and career aspirations of Chinese undergraduate students studying in South Korea, with a particular focus on institutional responses to their evolving needs. Drawing on survey data and in-depth interviews conducted at a national university, the research identifies key factors influencing students’ major selection—such as language proficiency, information asymmetry, and perceived employability. It also examines the mismatch between students’ educational trajectories and career expectations. The findings reveal structural gaps in current academic support and career guidance systems, which hinder students’ academic motivation and professional integration. In response, this paper proposes the development of an exclusive academic program tailored for international students. The program emphasizes flexible curricula, integrated support services, and cross-cultural inclusivity. Finally, the study outlines strategic and policy recommendations for institutional innovation, aiming to foster sustainable models of international student education within Korean higher education.

As a folk art that combines earthy simplicity with refined elegance, Henan Diaoqu in China has gradually formed its performance style since the Ming and Qing dynasties, giving rise to multiple sub-genres and enduring through the ages. As one of the most representative traditional opera forms in the Central Plains region, its linked melody structure and widely appealing vocal styles have all been deeply influenced by Confucian thought. However, the development of Diaoqu has gone through multiple periods, and under the impact of modernization, its inheritance and development face multiple challenges. Based on the dual dimensions of cultural genes and musical forms, this paper clarifies the developmental context of Diaoqu and analyzes the manifestation of Confucian thought in its qupai (melody card) structure, libretto texts, and performance practices. It thus puts forward innovative ideas for the contemporary inheritance of Diaoqu, proposing the integration of Confucian "music education" philosophy with modern music education to facilitate its modern transmission, achieve its living inheritance empowered by digital technology, and rediscover its value in cross-cultural dialogue.

Against the backdrop of culture-tourism integration, this thesis investigates the art management of Chinese traditional music intangible cultural heritage (ICH) projects. Through comprehensive literature review and in-depth case analyses, it constructs a theoretical framework and explores practical development models. Findings reveal that Chinese traditional music ICH has demonstrated diversified development in culture-tourism integration. By leveraging tourist destinations and modern technologies, it has expanded its audience reach and cultural appeal. However, challenges persist, including over-commercialization, talent shortages, and the dilemma of balancing inheritance and innovation. Based on art management theories, this study proposes optimization strategies: content planning that integrates cultural essence with market demands, brand promotion via new media and cross-border collaboration, and a collaborative governance model involving governments, enterprises, universities, and inheritors. In conclusion, culture-tourism integration presents new opportunities for heritage development, and art management can enhance its market viability. Yet, sustained efforts are needed in institutional improvement, talent cultivation, and sustainable development to address the challenges of commercialization.

본 연구는 16세기부터 19세기 초 명·청 시대 갈레온 무역의 사회문화적 영향과 중 국계 메스티소(Mestizo)의 역할을 분석하였다. 갈레온 무역은 아시아, 아메리카, 유럽 을 연결한 최초의 글로벌 무역망으로, 스페인의 식민지 전략, 중국의 상업적 성장, 필리핀의 지정학적 중개 역할이 복합적으로 작용한 국제 상거래 네트워크였다. 연구 결과, 갈레온 무역은 단순한 상품 교환을 넘어 인적, 기술적, 문화적 요소의 장기적 순환을 이끌어냈으며, 중국계 메스티소가 그 중심에 있었다. 이들은 중국, 필 리핀, 중남미, 유럽을 잇는 복합적 정체성과 문화 융합의 상징적 존재로서, 상업, 기 술, 언어, 예술을 매개로 각 지역의 사회문화에 깊은 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 갈레온 무역이 문화적 상징과 감각의 교류를 이끌어냈음을 밝히고, 중 국계 메스티소를 전지구적 문화 흐름을 만들어낸 문화 중개자로 재조명하였다. 이를 통해 초기 근대 세계 질서 속 중국 문화의 보편성과 창조성, 그리고 상호작용의 구 조를 규명했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.
