In recent years, urban areas occurred several times a sinkhole. In Korea, this limestone area where the sink hole sink holes occur based on not much was seen as a very rare phenomenon. However, the occurrence of accidents in recent Subsidence and urban areas is occurring in the limestone sinkhole may yet see another one called artificial Subsidence phenomenon. Subsidence in urban areas can have various causes, such as depression groundwater level changes due to the influence of soil, underground, etc. underground utilities by anthropogenic actions. But a lot of research on natural sinkhole by geological experts continued steadily since the past Subsidence that occurred in recent years the city has become an urgent problem to formulate a countermeasure to be very concerned about the human and material damage. In this study, the city by analyzing existing research on the causes and countermeasures of Subsidence recently released look at the announced sinkhole, published statistics and cases of Subsidence data, and overseas corresponding practices in each relevant agencies and to suggest measures for local Subsidence.
Currently, the number of a shopping center building is increasing because most people want to go a shopping center building easily for buying many things and eating some foods. That are a normal trend these days. However, the increasing number of shopping center buildings has been increasing the number of shopping center building fires which also have been making social problems. Therefore, this study was conducted for the fire department connection among other fire facilities because it is important for fire suppression. The research subject is on the fire department connections that are on 70 shopping center buildings of more than 5 years old constructed. Survey and analysis were conducted for 70 fire department connections. The result of this study is that all installed fire department connections have a type that includes one or two holes each at 65mm wide, and the average distance between fire department connections and access roads is 4.85m. The total average percentage of insufficiency conditions such as drive ways for fire trucks, visibility, accessibility, pressure range sign, installed height, cover of the hole, etc. is 45.3%. So improvement of law and systems, that are fire facility construction and maintenance implementations, will be needed in my opinion.
This paper addresses the problem of how to effectively use virtual reality(VR) for improving the quality of safety training systems. As the working environment and the working system in the industry are more and more complex and large-scaled, the concern with system safety is accordingly growing. Safety training systems are regarded as an effective way for increasing workers’ interest in system safety and enhancing their ability of preventing and handling accidents/incidents. Recently, it has been reported that VR would be effectively used for improving the quality of safety training systems, with its technically specialized features. However, little attention has been given to the problem of how to effectively use VR for safety training systems. In order to make the best use of new technology such as VR, it is important to examine its advantages and disadvantages and the contexts to which its use can be beneficial. This paper firstly reviews the current status of safety training systems and the use of VR for safety training systems in the inside and outside of the country. Next, we summarize the interview with safety managers in four manufacturing companies, which was conducted to understand the requirements of stake-holders of the issue. Based on the review and the interview, we suggested the ways of using VR in safety training systems in an effective manner. They are described from the four perspectives: development and maintenance cost, lack of specialized workers, design of accident scenarios used with VR, and empirical demonstration of the effectiveness of VR in safety training.
Analyses were performed with Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale. The population was 1,391 Korean workers in total. Subjects who get scores of self-esteem lower than those before the accidents were 539 people(42.34%). On the other hand, subjects who get the same or higher scores of self-esteem than those before the accidents were 802 people(57.66%). The average score of the whole showed 30.09 point that is higher than 29.99 points that were analyzed from primary panel data. The odds ratio of self-esteem is analyzed to find that what is the most important factor for improving self-esteem of the workers group. The result of odds ratio analysis was 1.60 in the not-to-return-to-work group, significantly higher of the score of self-esteem than the return-to-work group. The statistically significant odds ratio of unemployed workers group from the group of workers who return to work prove the academically conventional social norms. This result shows that the workers condition, whether or not they can return to their work, affects the workers‘ self-esteem. Therefore, the workers' condition for returning to the work should be considered the most important service for Korean workers' compensation and welfare services.
In this paper, the relationship between energy consumption in the logistics industry and economic growth of Tumen River region from 1995 to 2014 is empirically analyzed by using the EKC model theory. The results show that there is a turning point in the Kuznets curve of carbon emission in TumenRiverregion. And it has the characteristic sof "invertedU" curve, which conforms to the environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis. Meanwhile it is stil lintherisingstage. According to the analysis results, it is proposed to set up the concept of low carbon logistics, optimize the energy structure, strengthen the information construction, and establish low-carbon development mechanism and so on.
Recently, industrial accidents rate has been gradually decreasing due to the development of safety management methods, but until now, the accident rate in the construction sector is higher than other industries. Large-scale construction sites are operating systematic safety systems to reduce industrial accidents. However, small and medium sized construction sites do not have systematic safety system and lack safety management ability, so that disaster is not reduced compared with large scale construction site. As a result, disaster prevention technology instruction system has been implemented to reduce the disasters of small and medium scale construction sites. However, in the case of a small construction site less than 2 billion won, there is little decrease in the accident rate, and in some cases, the accident rate increases. After the technical guidance system has been implemented, it is necessary to identify the performance and problems of implementation and to improve its effectiveness. In this study, we suggest the improvement plan to improve the efficiency of the technical guidance system by analyzing the problems and actual conditions of technical guidance operation in small and medium sized construction work sites.
There are more than 30,000 chemical substances handled in domestic university laboratories. Among them, hazardous materials are selected and managed as designated substances by the standards of 19 Ministries and 16 Acts. However, domestic safety-related laws and regulations are used to manage industrial risk factors based on industrial activities. In case of installing a university chemical laboratory in accordance with the installation standards applicable to general workplaces. It is not suitable to use as a laboratory installation standard that can be applied to a chemical laboratory installed at a university such as a problem occurs in applying to a university using a small quantity of dangerous substances in a small amount. In order to establish the laboratory structure and facility standards that are appropriate for the laboratory characteristics and apply systematic laboratory safety, the National Security Administration shall apply the special handling standard of chemical experiment to places where handling less than 30 times the designated quantity of chemical substances for chemical experiments. On August 2, 2016, the regulations for the enforcement of the Dangerous Goods Safety Management Act and the standards for the structure and facilities of the university chemical laboratory were enacted. In this study, we investigated the domestic chemical substances laws and regulations to determine the chemical substances that are over-regulated in the relevant laws, and define them as substances against accidents. The management criteria for the substances were analyzed. The R value for the designation of the designated quantity by the concept of the space in the management standard was calculated.
This study highlights the main effect of job demand, work shift, work environment and stressors on the railway traffic controller's health, and the moderating effect of work0life balance. The result of empirical analysis based on questionnaires received from 328 traffic controllers working at 10 railway operating companies indicates that job demand, work shift, work environment and stressors have significant effect on their health, among which stressors is a major factor. In the respect of moderating effect, WLB showed no significance except for job demand. This result implies that controller's health can not be enhanced through their individual family or leisure life. Therefore, effective countermeasures and policy to mitigate their health problems and heal their symptoms are urgent.
Research and development activities have been actively conducted at universities, research institutions and research laboratories which belong to corporations. Because of blooming research and development activities in various fields, safety accidents in the laboratories happen consistently. The government office established Act on the establishment of safe laboratory environment to decrease safety accident rates and make environment of laboratories better, and it is effective slowly. However, in the case of laboratory safety management of the laboratory where various research and development activities are carried out. So it is difficult to closely monitor them. Even though safety inspections and periodic inspections is regularly conducted, these are focused on facilities and environment. According to a study of Dea-deok science town safety council, accidents in laboratories of 73% have arisen out of careless actions. Therefore, it is important for researchers to know to potential harmful factors in research. there is necessary to make a system to prevent laboratory accidents. The purpose of this study is that the researchers discovered potential hazard factors in laboratories. For that, foreign laboratory safety management systems has applied to domestic laboratories. Four laboratories in targeted institution has been selected to apply the appropriate personal protection equipments, job safety assessment and standard operating procedures. And I found the limitations of the process according to the excavations harmful factors in the research process. To overcome these limitations, Suggest a laboratory safety management system. This study discovered current laboratory safety system limitations and provides alternatives so that effective safety management can be achieved
Hospital costing has generally been using ABC costing method. However, based on increase of expensive equipment, the fixed cost is increased in the hospital industry. The most common equipment industry are using building block costing method for depreciation and equipment management costing elements. Additionally it presents three options that may be considered to be supported by the IT system to find the most appropriate alternative.
This study was conducted to develop a dummy in an environment similar to the human body, to prepare a standard for evaluation and to present the process of the production in order to evaluate the performance of the robot that can detect the persons needing rescue in a confined space, who are difficult for fire-fighting officials to rescue in case of fire and disaster. As a result, a standard for evaluation was developed and standardized into four parts ‘Normal,’ ‘Risk Stage 1,’ ‘Risk Stage 2’ and ‘Risk Stage 3’based on the number of breath cycles, carbon dioxide concentration, core temperature and criteria for hearing to recognize the voice. In addition, in order to produce a dummy, fever, breathing capacity and voice output function were compared and analyzed. This study has significance that it built up basic data of the method of producing the actual dummy, by presenting characteristics and controlling methods using the waterproof insulation heating coil for the function, solenoid valve for the consecutive output of breathing capacity and USB program sound board for voice output.
The efficiency of the purchasing and procurement logistics is important in automotive industry. The rationalization of production system is directly impact on productivity and quality. For this reason importance of logistics is high. Despite we are continuously making effort, our country are still below the level than developed country on logistics efficiency. Rising labor costs is an important factor in increasing logistics costs. So workforce reduction in logistics department is a large part. We deal with A-company inbound logistics, especially procurement logistics in automotive logistics as research object. So in this study we do research on work load balance about workers. We do research on 1,475 kinds of components in procurement process. We applied work load balance algorithm on chassis, final, sequence, trim warehouses workers. According to number of workers and average M/H, algorithm is applied in two ways. After applied work load balance algorithm we reduced numbers of workers from 28 to 20 and improved worker load balance rate from 47.1% to 93.7%

Service industry can be divided largely into commercial industry, banking industry, insurance industry, advertising industry, and tourism industry. Of these, banking industry is playing an essential role as it constitutes the backbone of economy. Banking industry, which belongs to financial industry, is sensitive to external environment. In this kind of industry, internal dynamics of an organization is very important. The purpose of this research is to find out what kind of influence the relation of internal dynamics perceived by members of Nonghyup organization has on customer orientation via quality of internal service. For the purpose, we have reviewed preceding studies on variables that affect customer orientation and developed a measuring tool in a form that fits banking organizations. Internal service quality, job satisfaction, and organizational immersion which play a mediating role in the model of this research not only turned out to have a significant influence on customer orientation, they also turned out to have the strongest influence. This research has academic significance as it carried out a research with an emphasis on variables that affect customer orientation of members of Nonghyup organization. Regarding practical significance, it was intended to present useful data that can be utilized for an analysis of internal service quality management and capability of human resource management.
In this paper, we present the theoretical aspects and practical implications in terms of the following: First, the consumption value of the consumer is validated against the effects of the smart phone. Second, the consumption values by brand has its purpose is to verify the differences by navigating to the impact of repurchase. The data was collected in a self-administered survey 210 undergraduate students, using smartphone between september 9th-30th, 2014. A total of 152 questionnaires were collected and used for the data analysis.
In this research, we propose efficient demand forecasting scheme for intermittent demand. For this purpose, we first extensively analyze the drawbacks of the existing forecasting methods such as Croston method and Syntetos-Boylan approximation, then using these findings we propose the new demand forecasting method. Our goal is to develop forecasting method robust across many situations, not necessarily optimal for a limited number of specific situations. For this end, we adopt combining forecasting method that utilizes unbiased forecasting methods such as simple exponential smoothing and simple moving average. Various simulation results show that the proposed forecasting method performed better than the existing forecasting methods.

To reduce production costs, it’s inevitable to make unsuitable products during the production in manufacturing process. Therefore, this researcher grasped LED assembly process and drew the results of productivity improvement through process analysis so as to improve productivity by process anlaysis.
The purposes of this research are to modelize test system of SM TESTING by ARENA, software, input several items of specimen’s testing process, resources of system and transfer loop, etc, give a hypothesis and then, obtain results reducing the efficiency of the whole system finally by overload of specific facilities in the testing system through the simulation so as to obtain several materials such as specimen and testing facility, transfer loop, etc. by simple and various forms without any necessity of numerical modelization. It will add facilities of over load and reduce facilities with low operation rate, so increase the efficiency of the system.
